Resumo

Results with orally administered ketoconazole in patients with mucocutaneous candidosis are encouraging, considering the recalcitrant nature of the disease. Thirty-two patients with mucocutaneous candidosis were treated with a dayle dose of 200 to 400mg of ketoconazole administered with a meal. Evaluation was based on clinical and parasitological responses. Clinical and parasitological cure was obtained in 28 (87,50%) patients and improvement in 2(6,25%). No undesirable sid effects were observed in the treatment.


Experimentação terapêutico-laboratorial com o Ketoconazol nas candidíases mucocutâneas rebeldes, obtendo-se os seguintes resultados: - CURADOS: - 28 (87,50%) pacientes; melhorados: - 2 (6,25%) pacientes; inalterados: - 2 (6,25%) pacientes. Laboratorialmente, houve negativação dos exames micológicos em 100% dos casos.
