INTRODUCCIÓN:
El acoso escolar presenta múltiples configuraciones determinadas por las pautas interaccionales de sus tres protagonistas víctima, agresor y espectador.El objetivo del presente estudio fue caracterizar el perfil psicológico del niño víctima de acoso escolar.MÉTODO:
Se trata de un estudio exploratorio-descriptivo, en el cual se aplicaron dos instrumentos de recolección de información el Cuestionario sobre intimidación y maltrato entre pares en Instituciones Educativas de Educación Básica de la ciudad de Cuenca, a 387 estudiantes del segundo al séptimo año de Educación General Básica de una Institución Educativa fiscal de la ciudad de Cuenca, Ecuador y que permitió identificarel porcentaje de niños víctimas de acoso escolar; y el Cuestionario sobre abusos entre compañeros perfil de la víctima, adaptado del cuestionario original de Fernández y Ortega, por Ordóñez (2014), el mismo que posibilitó identificar el perfil psicológico delniño víctima de acoso escolar. La estadística descriptiva fue utilizada para el análisis de la información en el presente estudio.RESULTADOS:
Los resultados muestran un 10.1% de niños víctimas de acoso escolar y un 33.1% de potenciales víctimas. La tipología familiar predominante es la nuclear seguida de la monoparental materna, los niños víctimas perciben a su ambiente familiarcomo favorable. Un 37.8% presentan una autoimagen negativa y desvalorización, en contraposición a un 33.3% que presentan una autoimagen y autoconcepto positivo. Se perciben como actores pasivos frente a las situaciones de victimización y no como agentes provocadores.CONCLUSIONES:
El perfil del niño víctima está caracterizado por la presencia de aislamiento, distimia, evitación, ansiedad, somatizaciones, negación y en algunos caso bajo rendimiento académico (AU)BACKGROUND:
Bullying has multiple configurations determined by the interactional patterns of its three protagonists victim, offender and spectator. The objective of this studywas to characterize the psychological profile of the child victim of bullying.METHODS:
This is an exploratory-descriptive study, in which two instruments of data collection were applied Questionnaire on bullying and abuse among peers in educationalinstitutions of Basic Education of the city of Cuenca (387 students from second toseventh year of General Basic education of an educational institution prosecutor of the city of Cuenca) which identified the percentage of children who were victims of bullying and questionnaire of abuse among peers profile of the victim, adapted from the originalquestionnaire Fernandez and Ortega by Ordóñez (2014), that made possible to identify the psychological profile of a child victim of bullying. The basic statistics were used for data analysis in this study.RESULTS:
The results show that 10.1% of children are victims of bullying and there are 33.1% of potential victims. The predominant family type is nuclear followed by the maternal parent, child victims perceive their family environment as favorable. 37.8% have a negative self-image and devaluation, as opposed to 33.3% who have a positive self-image and self-concept. They perceive themselves as passive actors against victimization situationsand not as provocative agents.CONCLUSIONS:
Child victims profile is characterized by the presence of isolation, dysthymia, avoidance, anxiety, somatization, and in some cases low academic performance (AU)
