Amyloidosis is an uncommon illness characterized by fibril deposits located in tissues and specifically in organs as kidneys (50%), heart (40-50%) and peripheral nerves (25%). The objective of this case presentation was to make a clinical description of an Amyloidosis case. CLINICAL CASE This is about a 38-years old malepatient with a 4-year evolution history of nonspecific signs and symptoms as anemia, hepatosplenomegaly, heart failuresecondary to AV complete block and normal-function nephrotic syndrome. A renal biopsy was performed and the diagnosis was confirmed after report of eosinophilic substance deposits which were positive in amyloiddetectiontechniques. EVOLUTION After diagnosis the patient was treated with an 8-cycle Cyclosphosphamide (1gr each month) based scheme complemented with Dexamethason and Thalidomide. He had a slow but favorable response with a 24-hours collection urineprotein count of 430mg/24h and normal kidney function (urea 12 and creatinine 0.53).
