Análise comparativa dos referenciais epidemiológico e psicológico em saúde bucal / Comparative analysis of epidemiological and psychological references in oral health
Introduction - This paper intends to trace, analyze and compare the epidemiological and psychological references of preschool children with and without continuous dentistry accompaniment at schools. Material and Methods - A descriptive comparative research of exploratory stamp was accomplished with 56 children from 5 to 6 years in schools of same socioeconomic level of the Guama Neighborhood, Belem-Para-Brazil. Were analyzed through the drawings some indicators of the child's family dynamics in interaction with the child's vision in relationship the dentist and his job. Results - Comparing the carie epidemiological reference in two groups were found differences in its components. In addition, the psychological profile revealed difference on the two groups concerning the child's vision to the dentist's image his job place and his instrumental of work. Conclusion - When more early the child has contact with the dentist and more satisfactory is the child's family dynamics more positive will be the child's vision about the dentist's image and his job.
