ABSTRACT
Beach volleyball is an intermittent sport composed of moments of intense physical performance due to the rallies, thatis, playing time, with small intervals of rest between them. This feature requires players to develop physical qualitiessuch as strength and cardiorespiratory endurance necessary for the correct execution of fundamental technics and thedevelopment of offensive/ defensive actions with maximum performance throughout the game. This study aimed toanalyze the impact of an intervention program on the neuromotor capacities of muscle strength and cardiorespiratoryendurance in beach volleyball athletes. This is a quasi-experimental quantitative study, in which 11 athletes weresubmitted, before and after intervention, to the following tests vertical jump; medicine ball throw; 20-meter (Beep)cardiorespiratory endurance. The intervention circuit lasted two months, applying the strength exercises, followedby the endurance exercises with a one-minute rest from one session to the other. It was verified that the neuromotorcapacities analyzed in this study obtained significant values (p = 0.0001) in all the tests when compared to thepre-intervention results. It was concluded that the intervention program showed an increase in muscle strength andcardiorespiratory endurance in beach volleyball athletes(AU)
