Treacher Collins Syndrome is a disorder of the development of autosomal dominant inheritance and variable expressivity that occurs due to a genetic defect with mutations in the TCOF1 gene, present in chromosome 5, which has 26 exons and encodes a protein called treacle. The objective of this research was to investigate through a literaturereview the main clinical manifestations caused by the syndrome in the dental field. A bibliographic review was carried out with search in the databases PubMED and Google Scholar. In the PubMED database the expression search was used treacher collins syndrome and dentistry and oral health. In Google Scholar we used the search term treacher collins syndrome and odontology and oral health. Diagnosis, treatment, and guidelines given to patients about the disease should be early and important for the reestablishment of masticatory, aesthetic and auditory functions. It was concluded that the clinical approaches in these patients should be early to minimize possible damages and that the proposed therapeutic interventions aim to improve the quality of life of the patients affected by the syndrome(AU)
