This paper considers the practice of homoeopathy by non-medicallyqualifies practitioners (NMQPs). I has been prepared by the NMQP WorkingParty of the Faculty of Homoeopathy. The Faculty was established by Act of Parliament and supervises the training of doctors and other statutorily recognized health professionals. The Working Party's brief was to consider the issues of safety and clinical standards of NMQP practice, ot the issue of competence in homoeopathy. Over a 2-year period we gathered the views and concerns of many individuals and organizations. We hope that the resultant discussion and guidelines contribute to raising the standard of patient care, while stimulating debate and development in this challenging area
