RESUMO

Contemporary college students are inevitably subject to both external and internal influences, particularly from the realm of online information, in their academic pursuits and personal lives. To investigate the influence of auditory stimuli on the formation of students' aberrant cognitive processes during physical activity. A total of 1084 middle school students underwent measurements using the SCL-90, GSES, and revised PARS-3 scales. The aim was to examine the impact of physical activity on the physical and mental well-being of middle school students. The statistical software AMOS was utilised to test this hypothesis, and a theoretical framework was developed to investigate the mechanisms underlying physical and mental well-being. Physical activity. The social statistical analysis software packages SPSS17.0 and AMOS17.0 were utilised to examine and handle anomalous data and missing data for statistical analysis. Physical activity and self-efficacy both have varying degrees of negative effects on middle school students' physical and mental pleasure (r2 = 0.094, P 0.01). The equation model demonstrates that the path coefficient of the good fitness index, the amount of physical activity, regular exercise, and independence determine the impact of physical activity on middle school students' physical and mental pleasure. This study establishes a correlation between physical activity, self-efficacy, and both physical and mental enjoyment in middle school students across several aspects. It is anticipated that this research will provide valuable insights for physical activity promotion and education among middle school students. The objective of sports research is to enhance individuals' physical and mental well-being by investigating various forms of exercise and their optimal execution. This study aims to gather self-awareness insights and foster personal growth while also contributing to the regulation of physical and mental health. This diverges from the examination of behavioural modification in psychology and behavioural investigations centred on the intrinsic attributes of "perception attitude behaviour" and social exchange theory.(AU)

RESUMO

To alleviate the psychological burden on students and facilitate the efficient delivery of high-quality teaching information, psychological suggestions can be employed. Psychological suggestion involves subtly influencing the subconscious mind through discussions, expressions, gestures, attire, environmental factors, and a non-confrontational, non-critical, and non-resistant approach. This approach aims to stimulate students' internal psychological needs and potential indirectly, resulting in meaningful changes in their psychological states. In the context of music teaching, utilizing suggestion techniques is valuable for altering students' intrinsic motivations and psychological potential. By reducing the psychological stress students may experience in the classroom, it becomes possible to achieve high-speed, high-quality transmission of educational content. This approach represents a significant strategy for attaining educational objectives. Music classroom instruction, aside from imparting subject knowledge and honing essential skills, places greater emphasis on fostering students' enthusiasm for learning and their ability for self-directed learning. In this experimental study, a total of 100 students participated, including 72 male and 28 female students. The participants were drawn from various academic backgrounds, including four classes of music education majors in the Music Department, 18 students (13 males and 5 females) from the 22nd-grade Music Information Technology Department, 27 students (15 males and 12 females) from the 22nd-grade Music Leisure Major in the Music Economic Management College, and 19 students (9 males and 10 females) from the 22nd-grade Human System Applied Psychology Major. This research utilized teaching experiments, questionnaire surveys, and logical analysis, focusing on students from a music conservatory. The study conducted a comparative experimental investigation involving a Psychological Suggestion Experimental Group and a Normal Teaching Control Group. The TOPS questionnaire was administered during the teaching sessions of the experimental group. Students were asked to complete the questionnaire honestly and anonymously. In the experimental group, which consisted of four classes, there were 28 students in Group 3 (all of whom were male), and 28 students in Group 13 (comprising 6 males and 22 females). Additionally, there were 27 students (15 males and 12 females) majoring in Music Leisure in the School of Music Economics and Management at Grade 22, as well as 19 students (9 males and 10 females) majoring in Applied Psychology in Grade 07. The TOPS scale was distributed to both the experimental and control groups. The average and standard deviation of the eight factors of the TOPS training strategy for male and female amateur students were calculated. Among male students, the highest average score was observed in the "Emotional Control" factor, with a mean score of 3.54. For female students, the "Automation" factor had the highest average score, at 3.34. Conclusion: Integrating psychological suggestion into music education can effectively enhance student engagement and enthusiasm in the classroom. This approach enables students to better connect with their instructors and actively participate in their learning. When compared to traditional music teaching methods, the judicious use of psychological cues aids students in the experimental group in successfully accomplishing their learning objectives. Moreover, this approach assists novice students in developing a habit of actively engaging with music, which contributes to the cultivation of a lifelong appreciation for music.(AU)

RESUMO

This study aims to determine the effect of physical and psychological movement coordination on musical performance. This investigation also investigates the impact of mental tension on musical performance. This investigation has collected quantitative data on Likert scale 7-point questionnaire. This study's population consisted of trumpet players, and Smart PLS 3.0 was used to evaluate the measurement and structural models. This research has determined that the coordination of physical and psychological movements significantly affects musical performance. In addition, this study determined that when playing the trumpet, positive tension can make the performer concentrate and concentrate on performing, which is conducive to the play of the performance level and can also better interpret musical works. The research has demonstrated that in trumpet performance, the change of pitch, timbre, and intonation is primarily controlled by the coordination and cooperation of the physiological and psychological causes of stage tension in trumpet playing.(AU)

Background/Objective: Several factors associated with resilience as the maintenance of mental health despite stress exposure can be strengthened through participation in leisure time activities. Since many people listen to or make music in their leisure time, the aim of the present study was to provide insights into the architecture of how resilience relates to passive and active music engagement. Method: 511 participants regularly listening to and/or making music completed an online survey on resilient outcomes (i.e., mental health and stressor recovery ability), different resilience factors (e.g., optimism, social support), quantitative music engagement (i.e., time spent with music listening/making) and qualitative music engagement (i.e., use of music listening/making for mood regulation). Results: Bivariate correlations showed that subjects spending more time with music making reported better stressor recovery ability and less mental health problems, while partial correlational network analysis revealed no unique associations for quantitative music engagement. Regarding qualitative music engagement, people using music-based mood regulation reported lower mental health, mindfulness, and optimism, but also higher social support. A more heterogeneous pattern emerged for single music-based mood regulation strategies. Conclusions: Our findings highlight the importance of the individual (mal-)adaptive use of music, painting a more nuanced picture of music engagement and resilience. (AU)

Introduction: Singers are one of the groups of voice professionals with higher prevalence of vocal pathology due to their profession and lifestyle. Method: Prospective ex post study was carried out to study the self-perception of vocal disability of 180 subjects (91 singers and 89 non-singers) using the Jacobson et al. (1998) Voice Handicap Index (VHI). The relationship of the test score and various risk factors has also been studied. Results: Singers scored higher (21.49) than non-singers (17) on the VHI questionnaire. Regarding on sex, women reached higher scores (28.15) than men (12.33). Regarding on risk factors we have observed that smokers show significant higher scores (23.42) than non-smokers (15.30). Conclusions: The subjects with more vocal use, in this case the singers, present higher scores on the VHI. That also occurs with women and smokers. These results are statistically significant only in the case of the variables smokes and sex.(AU)

RESUMO

The mental health of college students has become a topic of public discourse and is one of the most pressing issues confronting colleges and universities on the path to survival and development. This study aims to determine the effect of music education and sports psychology on student anxiety. This eight-week study examined the students of a college of physical education using SAS and a questionnaire. Free recovery, sports prescription recovery, group psychological counseling recovery, and sports prescription plus group psychological counseling recovery were implemented as intervention measures. 37% had anxiety symptoms, with most students in social athletics classes suffering from anxiety disorders. There is a significant difference between the proportion of male and female anxiety sufferers. Before and after the intervention, the contents of serum 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BNDF), and plasma cortisol (COR) were measured; after the intervention, the contents of 5-HT, BNDF, and COR were significantly increased (P0.05 or P0.01) in all groups except the free recovery group. The anxiety level of apprehensive college students can be reduced using the intervention. These findings are novel and contribute significantly to the existing body of knowledge. The study suggests some prospective research directions for scholars to consider.(AU)

RESUMO

Objectives: To compare the efficacy of 4 different analgesic regimens that include music and nitrous oxide during the treatment of renal lithiasis with ambulatory extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL). Materials and Methods: A single-centre, longitudinal, prospective, randomized, open and parallel group study was conducted. Patients with renal lithiasis were included and were randomized to Group A (basal analgesia: midazolam (1 mg), fentanyl (0.05 mg) and dexketoprofen (50 mg)), Group B (basal analgesia and nitrous oxide), Group C (basal analgesia and music) and Group D (basal analgesia, nitrous oxide and music). For the measurement of pain, a visual analogue scale ranging from 0 (no pain) to 100 (maximum pain imaginable) was used. Patient satisfaction was assessed using a Likert questionnaire. The epidemiological data of the patients in terms of lithiasis, previous clinical and ESWL sessions, and pain measured with the VAS before, during (maximum) at the end of the session and at discharge were recorded. Data on complications were also collected, as was the patients’ subjective evaluation of the treatment and their satisfaction. The ESWL procedure was performed with a Storz Modulith SLX-F2® lithotripter. A maximum of 4000 waves were applied at a frequency of 1.5 Hz. Results: Eighty patients were included (20 per group). None of the analgesia guidelines proved to be superior to the others for pain control during the ESWL session. Patients younger than 50 years had significantly higher values for the maximum VAS. Only 13.75% of patients required rescue analgesia. A total of 77.5% described their experience as good, very good or excellent, regardless of the assigned group. Conclusions: The addition of nitrous oxide and/or music did not result in a statistically significant improvement over the basal analgesia regimen of midazolam, fentanyl and dexketoprofen; however, the degree of patient satisfaction was very high (AU)
