RESUMO
Sixteen cases of Cavernous Sinus Thrombosis seen in Lagos University Teaching Hospital between 1965-1973 are reported. The clinical presentation did not differ from those reported from temperate countries. While the 10-19 years age group was most affected, the sex incidence was almost the same and there was 19 per cent mortality. Broad spectrum antibiotics plus anti-coagulant were found to be the most dependable treatment for the disease (AU)
