Estrategia educativa para fortalecer el valor responsabilidad en la carrera Licenciatura en Enfermería / Educational strategy to strengthen the responsibility value in the Bachelor of Nursing career

RESUMEN

Fundamento la realidad cubana requiere de un profesional eficiente y eficaz, que desarrolle su independencia y creatividad con una ética sustentada en los valores como expresión de lo más puro de la sociedad que se continúa construyendo. Objetivo: aplicar una estrategia educativa para fortalecer el valor responsabilidad en estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Enfermería. Métodos: se realizó una investigación descriptiva de corte transversal, en la Filial de Ciencias Médicas "Tamara Bunke Bider" de Moa, en el curso 2012-2013. Se emplearon métodos teóricos análisis-síntesis e inducción-deducción; y empíricos la encuesta en forma de cuestionario a estudiantes para diagnosticar las carencias relacionadas con el valor responsabilidad y apreciar su fortalecimiento, una vez aplicada la estrategia. Resultados: se diagnostican carencias en la actuación de los estudiantes que afectan el valor responsabilidad evidenciadas en las razones por las que escogieron la carrera, la pobre motivación hacia estos estudios para la mayoría, y la poca o nula participación en las actividades extensionistas y curriculares, según se indagó a través del cuestionario. Después de aplicada la estrategia, se constata que este comportamiento fue modificado pues en sus actuaciones predominan valoraciones de comportamiento adecuado y moderadamente adecuado. Conclusiones: la estrategia denota coherencia entre sus componentes y la validez de sus acciones para lograr los objetivos propuestos, lo que avala la pertinencia para su aplicación en la práctica pedagógica en función del fortalecimiento del valor responsabilidad en los estudiantes de la carrera de Licenciatura en Enfermería.

ABSTRACT

Background: the Cuban reality requires of an efficient and effective professional who develops its independence and creativity with an ethics sustained in the values as an expression of the purest things of the society that it's being built. Objective: to apply an educational strategy to strengthen the responsibility value in students of the Bachelor of Nursing career. Methods: it was carried out a descriptive cross-sectional research work, in "Tamara Bunke Bider" university site from Moa, in the academic year 2012-2013. Theoretical methods were used analysis-synthesis and induction deduction; and empiric ones the survey in questionnaire form was applied to the students to diagnose the lacks related with the responsibility value and to appreciate its strengthening, once applied the strategy. Results: lacks are diagnosed in the performance of the students that affect the responsibility value evidenced in the reasons why they chose the career, the poor motivation towards these studies for most of them, and the little or null participation in curricular and extracurricular activities, according to the answers given in the questionnaire. After having applied the strategy, it was verified that this behavior was modified because valuations of appropriate and moderately appropriate behavior prevailed in their performances. Conclusions: the strategy denotes coherence among its components and the validity of its actions to achieve the proposed objectives, what endorses the relevancy for its application in the pedagogic practice in view of the strengthening of the responsibility value in the students of the Bachelor of Nursing career.
