ABSTRACT
Yaws had not appeared in Anguilla until June 1902, when a negress, aged 8, an Anguillian, returned here from a visit to St. Kitts, with a fungating ulcer on one of her ankles, which proved to be the primary lesion of an attack of framboesia. Seven members (including the parents) of the girl's family were also infected. The treatment of all of the cases consisted of perchloride of mercury, perchloride of iron, and sulphate of copper.(Summary)
