Estudo bibliométrico da produção científica sobre contaminação fúngica de plantas medicinais

Os fungos e as plantas medicinais sempre participaram da história da humanidade,por isso conhecer a produção científica sobre a contaminação fúngica de plantasmedicinais foi o objetivo deste estudo. Foram consultadas as fontes de informaçãoPubMed/MEDLINE, Portal BVS, Web of Science, Scopus e Embase utilizando ostermos contaminação fúngica e plantas medicinais, no período de 1960 a 2016.Enquadraram-se nos critérios de inclusões 204 artigos. A fonte de informação queapresentou mais publicações sobre o tema foi a Scopus com 29%. Dentre os paísesmais produtivos encontrou-se a Índia, o Brasil, a China e os EUA. As Instituições deEnsino e Institutos Públicos de Pesquisa foram os maiores produtores de artigossobre o tema. As instituições mais produtivas foram o Pasteur Institute of Iran, asUniversidades Tarbiat Modares, a Universidade de São Paulo e Universidade deBelgrado. Dezessete autores foram responsáveis por 32,8% das publicações, sendoMasoomeh Shams-Ghahfarokhi, Mehdi Razzaghi-Abyaneh e Mohammad-BagherRezaee os mais produtivos. Foi encontrado um alto grau de colaboração/parceiraentre os autores. O sub tema de pesquisa mais estudado foi Controle de qualidadede plantas medicinais e fitoterápicos. A Revista Food Additives & Contaminants foi aque mais publicou artigos sobre o tema. Onze artigos podem ser considerados comode referência ao tema pesquisado. Em relação à análise da vida média do artigo,observou-se a existência de obras clássicas no tema contaminação fúngica deplantas medicinais. Fungi and medicinal plants have always participated in the history of mankind, soknowing the scientific production on the fungal contamination of medicinal plants wasthe objective of this study. The sources of information PubMed / MEDLINE, VHLPortal, Web of Science, Scopus and Embase were consulted using the terms"fungi/fungal contamination" and "medicinal plants", from 1960 to 2016. Two hundredand four articles were included in the inclusion criteria. The source of information thatpresented more publications on the subject was Scopus with 29%. Among the mostproductive countries were India, Brazil, China and USA. The Institutions of Educationand Public Institutes of Research were the major producers of articles on the subject.The most productive institutions were the Pasteur Institute of Iran, the UniversitiesTarbiat Modare, the University of São Paulo and the University of Belgrade.Seventeen authors accounted for 32.8% of the publications, with Masoomeh ShamsGhahfarokhi,Mehdi Razzaghi-Abyaneh and Mohammad-Bagher Rezaee being themost productive. A high degree of collaboration/partnership between the authors wasfound. The most studied research sub-theme was "Quality control of medicinal andphytotherapeutic plants". The magazine Food Additives & Contaminants was themost published articles on the subject. Eleven articles can be considered asreference to the researched topic. In relation to the analysis of the average life of thearticle, classic works on the theme "fungal contamination of medicinal plants" wereobserved.
