RESUMO

The study aims to understand the patients' perception regarding the nursing consultation at an outpatient clinic for Human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS) in the city of Fortaleza-CE (State of Ceará). This is an exploratory and descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with fifteen patients of this institution and analyzed with the support of content analysis. The nursing consultation was reported by patients as a learning moment, focused onproviding information. The trust and emotional support provided by the professional act as a support to the conflicts experienced by the patients, allowing the construction of a new perspective of the disease. We believe that the implementation of the nursing consultation in a dialogic perspective can provide a new meaning to the conflicts surrounding the patients' illness.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVES: to discuss, in the light of Florence Nightingale, the historical position of art as a constituent device of evidence-based nursing practice. METHODS: reflective study anchored in the writings of Nightingale and other researchers with whom it is possible to have a profound dialogue on the theme "art in nursing". RESULTS: art is related to two essential elements in the practice of nursing: knowledge and skill. Understanding science as knowledge and art as skill leads to the idea that both make it possible to combine technical competence, compassion, ethics, and individualization of care. Final Considerations: the art of nursing is the continuous exercise of detailed perception, so that the subjective aspect becomes the center to which the nurse's gaze converges, that which will allow them to unveil the "truth" posed by the patient, resulting in the best intervention for him.

OBJECTIVE: to map the diverse scientific evidence available about the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their family members. METHOD: a scoping review conducted in the following databases: MEDLINE, CINAHL, SciELO, SCOPUS, EMBASE and Wiley Online Library, in August and September 2021. The protocol of this review was registered at the Open Science Framework under DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/JYTVD. The data were analyzed and synthesized in a narrative way. RESULTS: a total of 46 publications identified indicate that the pandemic period brought about countless repercussions for the population with autism and their family members when experiencing serious difficulties in the changes or irregularities of the scheduled routines and limited access to education, therapies and social support. CONCLUSION: the diverse evidence suggests that the COVID-19 pandemic intensified the inequalities already experienced by individuals with autism and their family members, with negative consequences in the emotional, psychological, behavioral and social aspects, interfering with the quality of life and mental health of this population segment. Future studies on individuals with autism and their families during public health crisis periods are of fundamental importance for planning psychiatric, psychosocial and educational interventions.

OBJECTIVE: to analyze the effect on the knowledge of therapeutic communication by Nursing students through the use of applications. METHOD: a randomized and controlled clinical trial conducted with 60 nursing students. In the topic Groups and therapeutic communication techniques, the intervention-IG group (n=30) used the application and the control-CG group (n=30) was submitted to the traditional class. The pre- (Zero Test -0) and post-test knowledge (immediate-Test 1 and after 30 day-Test 2) of those involved were evaluated. RESULTS: Test 1, performed immediately after the intervention, showed a mean of 11 hits in the control group and 13 in the intervention, with statistical significance (p=0.036). Test 2 showed a decrease in hits in both groups (IG=10.87 and CG=9.3), but maintained the difference between IG and CG in the post-test (p<0.01). CONCLUSION: the use of the application on therapeutic communication favored the knowledge of the students, when compared to the traditional teaching method. REBEC RBR-4TF6MR Registration.

Objetivo: analisar as repercussões das decisões do Governo Federal brasileiro no enfrentamento da COVID-19 no cuidado clínico de enfermagem. Método: estudo documental baseado nas publicações de janeiro de 2020 a junho de 2021 divulgadas no site oficial do governo federal. Obtiveram-se 144 documentos que foram analisados na íntegra, apresentados em fluxograma e em Classificação Hierárquica Descendente, esta gerada pelo software IRaMuTeQ. Resultados: a Classificação Hierárquica Descendente gerou seis classes condensadas em: COVID-19 no Brasil, âmbito social, gestão pública, economia na pandemia e direcionamento da assistência em saúde. As decisões centraram-se em reconhecer a existência do cenário pandêmico e estabelecer criação de comitês para gestão e enfrentamento, gestão de insumos hospitalares, redefinição de metas relacionadas aos indicadores de saúde e combate à violência. Considerações finais: as determinações para enfrentamento da pandemia apresentaram ações circunscritas, prioritariamente aos aspectos curativistas, que impactaram na oferta dos cuidados clínicos de enfermagem ao reforçarem o modelo biomédico de atenção à saúde.


Objetivo: analizar las repercusiones de las decisiones del Gobierno Federal brasileño en el enfrentamiento de la COVID-19 en el cuidado clínico de enfermería. Método: estudio documental basado en las publicaciones de enero de 2020 a junio de 2021 divulgadas en el sitio oficial del gobierno federal. Se obtuvieron 144 documentos que fueron analizados en su totalidad, presentados en diagrama de flujo y en Clasificación Jerárquica Descendente, esta generada por el softwareIRaMuTeQ. Resultados: La Clasificación Jerárquica Descendente generó seis clases condensadas en: COVID-19 en Brasil, ámbito social, gestión pública, economía en la pandemia y direccionamiento de la asistencia en salud. Las decisiones se centraron en reconocer la existencia del escenario pandémico y establecer comités para gestión y enfrentamiento, gestión de insumos hospitalarios, redefinición de metas relacionadas a los indicadores de salud y combate a la violencia. Consideraciones finales: las determinaciones para enfrentar la pandemia presentaron acciones circunscritas, prioritariamente a los aspectos curativos, que impactaron en la oferta de los cuidados clínicos de enfermería al reforzar el modelo biomédico de atención a la salud.


Objective: analyzing the repercussions of the decisions of the Brazilian Federal Government in confronting COVID-19 in clinical nursing care. Method: documentary study based on publications from January 2020 to June 2021 published on the official website of the federal government. We obtained 144 documents that were analyzed in full, presented in flowchart and Descending Hierarchical Classification, this generated by IRaMuTeQ software. Results: the Descending Hierarchical Classification generated six classes condensed into: COVID-19 in Brazil, social scope, public management, economy in the pandemic and direction of health care. The decisions focused on recognizing the existence of the pandemic scenario and establishing the creation of committees for management and coping, management of hospital inputs, redefinition of goals related to health indicators and combating violence. Final considerations: the determinations for coping with the pandemic presented limited actions, primarily to curative aspects, which impacted the provision of clinical nursing care by reinforcing the biomedical model of health care.

RESUMO Objetivo: compreender as repercussões psicossociais da pandemia da COVID-19 para mães de crianças com Transtorno do Espectro Autista. Método: estudo qualitativo, com a participação de 22 mães. Os dados foram coletados de maio a julho de 2022, no interior da Paraíba, Brasil, por meio de uma Dinâmica de Criatividade e Sensibilidade. A análise deu-se através do referencial teórico-analítico da análise de discurso francesa. Resultados: medo, ansiedade, angústia, preocupações assumiram um lugar central no movimento dialógico das mães. Diante das demandas e reconfigurações na rotina, houve uma sobrecarrega física, emocional e psicológica, com repercussões na vida materna. A solidão pôde ser evidenciada pela frágil ou inexistente rede de apoio durante o período pandêmico. Conclusão: o estudo pode subsidiar a reflexão sobre as repercussões da pandemia na vida de mães de crianças com autismo e viabilizar a elaboração de ações que priorizem a saúde mental, auxiliando-as na superação de momentos de adversidades.


ABSTRACT Objective: to understand the psychosocial repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic for mothers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Method: a qualitative study, with participation of 22 mothers. The data were collected from May to July 2022 in the inland of Paraíba, Brazil, through the Dynamics of Creativity and Sensitivity. The analysis took place through the theoretical-analytical framework of French discourse analysis. Results: fear, anxiety, anguish and concerns assumed a central place in the mothers' dialogical movement. Faced with the demands and reconfigurations in the routine, there was physical, emotional and psychological overload, with repercussions on maternal life. Loneliness can be seen in the weak or non-existent support network during the pandemic. Conclusion: the study can support reflection on the repercussions of the pandemic on the lives of mothers of children with autism and enable the development of actions that prioritize mental health, helping them to overcome moments of adversity.


RESUMEN Objetivo: comprender las repercusiones psicosociales de la pandemia de COVID-19 en las madres de niños con Trastorno del Espectro Autista. Método: estudio cualitativo, con la participación de 22 madres. Los datos fueron recolectados de mayo a julio de 2022, en el interior de Paraíba, Brasil, mediante una Dinámica de Creatividad y Sensibilidad. El análisis se realizó siguiendo el marco teórico-analítico del análisis del discurso francés. Resultados: el miedo, la ansiedad, la angustia y las preocupaciones ocuparon un lugar central en el movimiento dialógico de las madres. Ante las exigencias y reconfiguraciones de la rutina, las madres sufrieron una sobrecarga física, emocional y psicológica que afectó su vida. La soledad se puede ver en la débil o nula red de apoyo que tuvieron durante la pandemia. Conclusión: el estudio puede contribuir a la reflexión sobre las repercusiones de la pandemia en la vida de las madres de niños con autismo y posibilitar el desarrollo de acciones que prioricen la salud mental que las ayuden a superar momentos de adversidad.

RESUMO

This reflection intended to analyze the counselling starting from the vision of the Freire's pedagogy visualizing it in a wider way, as an education activity, an intervention act for the subject's autonomy. The counselling is an activity developed by a Health professional, properly, and it is destined to who has indication of accomplishing the anti-HIV. In the ambit of the epidemic of HIV/AIDS, the counselling contains three components: the emotional support to the customer; educational support; and evaluation of risks, that propitiates the reflection on values, attitudes and conducts. In that way, they will avoid to be he turned into a no obligation 'chat' and led according to the counselor's will.

RESUMO

The study aimed to investigate the strategies health professionals use in HIV/AIDS counseling. This study is a qualitative research, based on Paulo Freire's theory and practice. Bardin's content analysis was used as the analysis technique. For the studied group, the counseling is focused on cognition, although new concepts permeating this subject are emerging. The main difficulties in counseling are related to the clients and the institution. The main facility is related to the team, which according to the group has a good relationship. Counseling represents a moment of distress, especially because it brings up existential questions to the counselor. It can be inferred that counseling is a special moment, but it does not constitute an educational moment yet. To obtain this goal, a counseling methodology is proposed, based on Paulo Freire's principles and concepts.

Métodos: estudio reflejo ancorado en los escritos de Nightingale y otros investigadores con los cuales se puede dialogar profundamente sobre la temática "arte en la enfermería". Resultados: el arte posee relación con dos elementos esenciales en el ejercicio de la enfermería: conocimiento y habilidad. Comprender ciencia como conocimiento y arte como habilidad lleva a la idea de que ambas permiten aliar competencia técnica, compasión, ética e individualización de los cuidados. Consideraciones Finales: el arte de la enfermería es el ejercicio continuo de la percepción detallada, de modo que el aspecto subjetivo se vuelve el centro para lo cual converge el mirar del enfermero, eso que lo permitirá desvelar la "verdad" puesta por el paciente, resultándole en la mejor intervención.


RESUMO Objetivos: discutir, à luz de Florence Nightingale, sobre a posição histórica da arte enquanto dispositivo constituinte da prática baseada em evidências na enfermagem. Métodos: estudo reflexivo ancorado nos escritos de Nightingale e de outros pesquisadores com os quais se pode dialogar profundamente sobre a temática "arte na enfermagem". Resultados: a arte possui relação com dois elementos essenciais no exercício da enfermagem: conhecimento e habilidade. Compreender ciência como conhecimento e arte como habilidade leva à ideia de que ambas permitem aliar competência técnica, compaixão, ética e individualização dos cuidados. Considerações Finais: a arte da enfermagem é o exercício contínuo da percepção detalhada, de modo que o aspecto subjetivo se torna o centro para o qual converge o olhar do enfermeiro, aquele que o permitirá desvelar a "verdade" posta pelo paciente, resultando na melhor intervenção para ele.

Resumo Objetivo: mapear as evidências científicas disponíveis sobre as repercussões da pandemia da COVID-19 para as pessoas com Transtorno do Espectro Autista e seus familiares. Método: revisão de escopo realizada nas bases de dados: MEDLINE, CINAHL, SciELO, SCOPUS, EMBASE, Wiley Online Library, nos meses de agosto/setembro de 2021. O protocolo desta revisão foi registrado em Open Science Framework sob o DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/JYTVD. Os dados foram analisados e sintetizados de forma narrativa. Resultados: 46 publicações identificadas sinalizam que o período pandêmico trouxe inúmeras repercussões para a população com autismo e seus familiares ao vivenciarem sérias dificuldades nas mudanças ou irregularidades das rotinas programadas; limitação no acesso à educação, às terapias e apoio social. Conclusão: as evidências sugerem que a pandemia da COVID-19 exacerbou as desigualdades já vivenciadas por pessoas com autismo e seus familiares, com consequências negativas nos aspectos emocionais, psicológicos, comportamentais e sociais, interferindo na qualidade de vida e saúde mental desta população. Estudos futuros sobre indivíduos com autismo e suas famílias durante períodos de crise de saúde coletiva são de fundamental importância para o planejamento de intervenções psiquiátricas, psicossociais e educacionais.

Método: revisión de alcance realizada en las siguientes bases de datos: MEDLINE, CINAHL, SciELO, SCOPUS, EMBASE, Wiley Online Library, en agosto/septiembre de 2021. El protocolo de esta revisión fue registrado en Open Science Framework bajo DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/JYTVD. Los datos fueron analizados y sintetizados en forma narrativa. Resultados: 46 publicaciones identificadas indican que el período de pandemia trajo numerosas repercusiones para la población con autismo y sus familiares al experimentar serias dificultades en los cambios o irregularidades en las rutinas programadas; acceso limitado a educación, terapias y apoyo social. Conclusión: la evidencia sugiere que la pandemia de COVID-19 agudizó las desigualdades que ya experimentaban las personas con autismo y sus familias, tuvo consecuencias negativas en los aspectos emocionales, psicológicos, comportamentales y sociales, que afectaron la calidad de vida y salud mental de esta población. Es fundamental que se realicen estudios futuros sobre personas con autismo y sus familias durante períodos de crisis de salud pública para planificar intervenciones psiquiátricas, psicosociales y educativas.

RESUMO

This study aimed at verifying the expectations of patients with HIV serum-positive patients, regarding to nursing care. This is a study with qualitative approach developed in the inpatient unit of a state public hospital in the municipal district of Fortaleza, CE. Data were collected in the period of September to October of 2003 through semi-structured interview, applied to 12 patients, randomly selected among the patients with diagnosis of HIV/AIDS. For data analysis it was used the Collective Subject's Speech (DSC) through emission of central ideas and/or key-expression. It was conclude that the patients expectations are for a more human care, more attention, contact verbal, more affectivity of the nursing team, a qualified and worthy attention. Besides their needs they should be informed daily about the vulnerabilities that they are submitted during the hospitalization.

OBJECTIVE: to analyze the discourses about the care provided by nurses operating in Specialized HIV/Aids Outpatient Services in four public institutions of the city of Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. METHOD: descriptive and exploratory study with a qualitative approach, which used as a method the discourse analysis. RESULTS: when titling the "care as negative", such title came from the analogy proposed by Freud (1912) with the photographic negative, represented by what that care can configure from the unconscious movement, since nurses did not perceive themselves in the care actions developed by supporting the work of other occupational categories, contributing to maintain the ideology of biomedicine. CONCLUSION: it is necessary to justify and theorize a nursing clinical practice from epistemological issues of the profession, in such a way that nurses can understand their relevance within the care provided.

Objetivo: analisar o efeito no conhecimento sobre a comunicação terapêutica pelos acadêmicos de Enfermagem com o uso de aplicativos. Método: ensaio clínico randomizado e controlado realizado junto a 60 estudantes de Enfermagem. No tópico Grupamentos e técnicas de comunicação terapêutica, o grupo intervenção-GI (n=30) utilizou o aplicativo e o grupo controle-GC (n=30) foi submetido à aula tradicional. Foi avaliado o conhecimento pré (Teste zero -0) e pós-teste (imediato-Teste 1 e após 30 dias-Teste 2) dos envolvidos. Resultados: o teste 1, realizado imediatamente após a intervenção, mostrou uma média de 11 acertos no grupo controle e 13 no intervenção, com significância estatística (p=0,036). O teste 2 mostrou uma diminuição dos acertos nos dois grupos (GI=10,87 e GC=9,3), mas manteve a diferença entre GI e GC no pós-teste (p<0,01). Conclusão: a utilização do aplicativo sobre a comunicação terapêutica favoreceu o conhecimento dos estudantes, quando comparado ao método tradicional de ensino. Registro REBEC RBR-4TF6MR.

Método: ensayo clínico aleatorio controlado, realizado en 60 estudiantes de enfermería. En el tópico, agrupamientos y técnicas de comunicación terapéutica, el grupo intervención-GI (n=30) utilizó el aplicativo y el grupo control-GC (n=30) fue sometido a una clase tradicional. Fue evaluado el conocimiento pretest (Test cero -0) y postest (inmediato-Test 1 y después de 30 días-Test 2) de los participantes. Resultados: el test 1, realizado inmediatamente después de la intervención, mostró media de 11 aciertos en el grupo control y 13 en la intervención, con significación estadística de p=0,036. El test 2 mostró diminución de los aciertos en los dos grupos (GI=10,87 y GC=9,3), pero mantuvo diferencia entre GI y GC en el postest (p<0,01). Conclusión: la utilización del aplicativo sobre comunicación terapéutica favoreció el conocimiento de los estudiantes al ser comparado con el método tradicional de enseñanza. OBJECTIVE: to know the social representations of sexuality for the elderly, based on the Social Representation Theory. METHOD: study performed in a Basic Family Health Unit in Maracanau-CE, Brazil, with 30 elderly adults. Data were collected from March through April of 2013, using the free word evocation technique. Data were organized and processed using the EVOC 2000.software RESULTS: the subjects evoked 150 words associated with the evocator word "sexuality". Out of these, 43 were different. At the possible core of the representation of sexuality for the elderly, the following words were found: love, affection and respect. Sex, companionship, understanding and coexistence composed the intermediate elements of representation. CONCLUSION: the performed analyses pointed to love, respect and affection as central elements that structured and organized the social representation of sexuality in the elder years for the group studied.

RESUMO

The authors present some biographical data about Paulo Freire, his main works and his most important production, showing the fertility of his legacy. This article aims to discuss the articulation of some concepts used by Freire in nursing practice and education, offering reflections for turning professional practice more critical and creative on the basis of this Brazilian educator's ideas.

RESUMO

This study aimed to analyze the proposal of educational plan organized through the Nursing Process, using the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP®), based on the Theory of Modeling and Role Modeling, to one group of women in Maracanaú-CE, Brazil. A case study was carried out in an educational group of women. A qualitative approach conducted the data production guided by the Creative and Sensitive Method. Two main diagnoses emerged from the needs presented by the group: compromised health and adequate knowledge, as well as formulation of results and nursing interventions. This study indicates the possibility of Nursing Process supported by INCP® and educational activities based on the Theory of Modeling and Role Modeling.

RESUMO

The study aims to examine how the nursing consultation is developed by the nurses workimg in in Outpatient Specialized Services on HIV / AIDS in the city of Fortaleza-CE. This is an exploratory and descriptive study with a qualitative approach that used content analysis as a technique for data analysis. To perform the nursing consultation, listening was reported by nurses as the main mechanism that enables the construction of empathy and trust relationship with the patient, allowing them to express their doubts, fears and anxieties. It also enables the spread of information and guidance about the pathology, as well as the convening of the subject for an active participation in the care process, trying to make them aware about the importance of the adherence to drug treatment. Nursing consultation configure itself as an educational moment, opportune for knowledge exchange and bonding.

RESUMO

As AIDS advances in Brazil, the Ministry of Health felt the need to sensitize and to train health professionals to work with questions provoked by this infection or by the disease. The implantation of counseling centers and support serological support (CTA) arose and became the main reference in counseling. The HIV / AIDS counseling is a device used by health professionals seeking to work information, guidance, risk assessment and support in accomplish the anti-HIV serology. However, it is necessary that this strategy have theoretical and philosophical fundaments that serve to underpin the counselor's clinical practice. Therefore, this article aimed to present the main presuppositions of some psychological counseling theories and its relation to the practice of HIV/AIDS counseling. It is believed that these reflections can contribute to substantiate theoretically the professionals who perform HIV/AIDS counseling, configuring it as a device for health promotion.

Objetivo: compreender a base ideológica presente nas vivências de idosos com diagnóstico de infecção pelo Vírus da Imunodeficiência Humana (HIV) e Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida (AIDS). Método: estudo qualitativo, que utilizou o método criativo e sensível e a análise de discurso francesa, realizado em um encontro grupal com cinco idosos acompanhados em Centro de Testagem e Aconselhamento de um município da região metropolitana de Fortaleza, Ceará. Estudo aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa, parecer nº 212.243 e CAAE 08453412.5.0000.5044. Resultados: os relatos dos idosos direcionaram a formação discursiva Vida resignada, atitude imobilizada!, caracterizada por quatro situações existenciais: concepções controversas sobre a violência física na infância; um negócio chamado AIDS; falta de resposta e culpabilização relacionadas à infecção pelo HIV; amparo na fé. Conclusão: apesar de a maioria das situações trazidas pelos idosos terem sido penosas, não houve tentativa de reação, apenas imobilização e resignação, direcionando a uma ideologia colonizadora.


Objective: to understand the ideological basis in the experiences of older adults diagnosed with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Methods: this qualitative study was conducted using the creative, sensitive method and French discourse analysis in a group meeting of five older adults monitored at a Counseling and Testing Center in a municipality of the Fortaleza metropolitan region, Ceará. The project was approved by the research ethics committee (No. 212.243 and CAAE 08453412.5.0000.5044). Results: the older adults' accounts framed the discursive formation Resigned life, immobilized attitude!, characterized by four existential situations: controversial conceptions regarding physical violence in childhood; a business called AIDS; guilt and lack of response related to HIV infection; and faith-based support. Conclusion: although most of the situations raised by the older adults were painful, there was no attempt to react, only immobility and resignation, leading to an ideology of colonization.


Objetivo: comprender la base ideológica presente en las vivencias de los ancianos con diagnóstico de infección por el Virus de la Inmunodeficiencia Humana y Síndrome de la Inmunodeficiencia Adquirida (VIH/AIDS). Método: investigación cualitativa que utilizó el método creativo y sensible y el análisis del discurso francés, realizada en reunión grupal con cinco ancianos acompañados en Centro de Pruebas y Asesoramiento, de una ciudad de la región metropolitana de Fortaleza, Ceará. El proyecto fue aprobado por el Comité de Ética en Investigación, dictamen nº 212.243 y CAAE 08453412.5.0000.5044. Resultados: de los discursos de los ancianos emergió la formación discursiva ¡Vida resignada, actitud inmovilizada!, caracterizada por cuatro situaciones existenciales: concepciones controvertidas sobre la violencia física en la infancia; una cosa llamada SIDA; falta de respuesta y sentimiento de culpabilidad relacionado con la infección por el VIH; apoyo en la fe. Conclusión: aunque la mayoría de las situaciones presentadas por los ancianos hayan sido dolorosas, no hubo intento de reacción, sino inmovilización y resignación, señalando una ideología colonizadora.

RESUMO

A major breakthrough in AIDS treatment occurred with the advent of antiretroviral therapy. However, several vulnerabilities may be present in the path experienced by patients during treatment. This study aimed to analyze the vulnerabilities of patients with HIV / AIDS in treatment failure. It is a qualitative study, involving seven users with AIDS considered in treatment failure in an Outpatient Service Unit on HIV / AIDS, in Fortaleza-CE. To interpret the data, it was used the technique of content analysis. In the speeches, it was realized that the deponents faced conflicts in the family and, difficult relationships with people and stigma at work. It was observed that patients had experienced various situations that made them more susceptible to HIV infection and illness.
