RESUMO

Members of the gasdermin (GSDM) family are pore-forming effectors that cause membrane permeabilization and pyroptosis, a lytic proinflammatory type of cell death. To reveal the functional evolution of GSDM-mediated pyroptosis at the transition from invertebrates to vertebrates, we conducted functional characterization of amphioxus GSDME (BbGSDME) and found that it can be cleaved by distinct caspase homologs, yielding the N253 and N304 termini with distinct functions. The N253 fragment binds to cell membrane, triggers pyroptosis, and inhibits bacterial growth, while the N304 performs negative regulation of N253-mediated cell death. Moreover, BbGSDME is associated with bacteria-induced tissue necrosis and transcriptionally regulated by BbIRF1/8 in amphioxus. Interestingly, several amino acids that are evolutionarily conserved were found to be important for the function of both BbGSDME and HsGSDME, shedding new lights on the functional regulation of GSDM-mediated inflammation.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: CircRNAs are a class of noncoding RNAs with tissue- and development-specific expression characteristics. In many mammals, primordial follicle development begins in the embryonic stage. However, the study of circRNAs in primordial follicle development in mice has not been reported. RESULTS: In this study, ovaries were collected from mouse foetuses at 15.5 days post coitus (dpc) and 17.5 dpc, which are two key stages of primordial follicle development. A total of 4785 circRNAs were obtained by using RNA-seq. Of these, 83 differentially expressed circRNAs were identified. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analyses showed that these differential circRNAs were mainly involved in the regulation of reproductive development. Through qRT-PCR, back-splice sequence detection and enzyme digestion protection experiments, we found that circ-009346, circ-014674, circ-017054 and circ-008296 were indeed circular. Furthermore, circ-009346, circ-014674 and circ-017054 were identified as three key circRNAs by analysing their expression in the ovaries of mice at different developmental stages. The circRNA-miRNA-mRNA interaction network was constructed and validated for target miRNA and mRNA using qRT-PCR. The interacting genes circ-009346, circ-014674, and circ-017054 were subjected to KEGG enrichment analysis. We found that circ-014674 may participate in the assembly and reserve of primordial follicles through oestrogen and the Janus kinase (JAK) signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) signalling pathway (JAK-SATA). Circ-009346 and circ-017054 may have similar functions and are involved in the activation and growth of primordial follicles through the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) signalling pathways. CONCLUSIONS: Based on our findings, three circRNAs associated with primordial follicle development were identified, and their potential mechanisms of regulating primordial follicle development were revealed. These findings will help us better understand the molecular mechanism of circRNAs in primordial follicles and provide important references and targets for the development of primordial follicles.

RESUMO

The FOXO3 gene, a prominent member of the FOXO family, has been identified as a potential quantitative trait locus for muscle atrophy and lipid metabolism in livestock. It is also considered a promising candidate gene for meat quality traits such as Warner-Bratzler shear force (WBSF) and water holding capacity (WHC). The aim of this study was to identify sequence mutations in the FOXO3 gene of yaks and to analyze the association of genotypes and haplotypes with meat traits such as WBSF and WHC. Quantitative reverse-transcriptase PCR (RT-qPCR) was applied to determine the expression levels of FOXO3 in yak tissues, with the results revealing a high expression in the yak longissimus dorsi muscle. Exons of the FOXO3 gene were then sequenced in 572 yaks using hybrid pool sequencing. Five single nucleotide polymorphisms were identified. Additionally, four effective haplotypes and four combined haplotypes were constructed. Two mutations of the FOXO3 gene, namely C>G at exon g.636 and A>G at exon g.1296, were associated with cooked meat percentage (CMP) (p < 0.05) and WBSF (p < 0.05), respectively. Furthermore, the WBSF of the H2H3 haplotype combination was significantly lower than that of other combinations (p < 0.05). The findings of this study suggest that genetic variations in FOXO3 could be a promising biomarker for improving yak meat traits.

RESUMO

Acetyl-CoA carboxylase beta (ACACB) is a functional candidate gene that impacts fat deposition. In the present study, we sequenced exon 37-intron 37, exon 46-intron 46, and intron 47 of yak ACACB using hybrid pool sequencing to search for variants and genotyped the gene in 593 Gannan yaks via Kompetitive allele-specific polymerase chain (KASP) reaction to determine the effect of ACACB variants on carcass and meat quality traits. Seven single nucleotide polymorphisms were detected in three regions. Eight effective haplotypes and ten diplotypes were constructed. Among them, a missense variation g.50421 A > G was identified in exon 37 of ACACB, resulting in an amino acid shift from serine to glycine. Correlation analysis revealed that this variation was associated with the cooking loss rate and yak carcass weight (p = 0.024 and 0.012, respectively). The presence of haplotypes H5 and H6 decreased Warner-Bratzler shear force (p = 0.049 and 0.006, respectively), whereas that of haplotypes H3 and H4 increased cooking loss rate and eye muscle area (p = 0.004 and 0.034, respectively). Moreover, the presence of haplotype H8 decreased the drip loss rate (p = 0.019). The presence of one and two copies of haplotypes H1 and H8 decreased the drip loss rate (p = 0.028 and 0.004, respectively). However, haplotype H1 did not decrease hot carcass weight (p = 0.011), whereas H3 increased the cooking loss rate (p = 0.007). The presence of one and two copies of haplotype H6 decreased Warner-Bratzler shear force (p = 0.014). The findings of the present study suggest that genetic variations in ACACB can be a preferable biomarker for improving yak meat quality.

RESUMO

In this study, to investigate the influence of numerical surface forms on strategy execution in subtraction and addition, 25 college students were required to perform a mental arithmetic task. Behavioral and electroencephalography responses were recorded to explore the stages of strategy execution. Arithmetic problems were presented within 11-20 by Arabic, Chinese and English numerals, respectively. The results showed that, compared with Arabic and Chinese numerals, participants had longer RTs under the condition of English numerals. English numerals induced stronger N100, P200 and P300 amplitudes, and longer latency in P200 and P300 amplitudes than in other conditions. These findings indicated that numerical surface forms affected the execution of mental arithmetic strategies, with Chinese and English numerals being processed deeper in the brain. Especially, the English digital word form occupied more psychological resources, and it was activated more in the frontal area and the parietal area, which would obviously hinder the processing of arithmetic information.

RESUMO

The growing prevalence of hyperuricemia necessitates the urgent development of more potent treatments. This study aimed to develop, optimize, and evaluate the safety and efficacy of porcine-human recombinant uricase (PHRU) both in vitro and in vivo. The study employed gene editing of PHRU through site-directed mutagenesis, with recombinant proteins expressed in vitro utilizing Escherichia coli. The polyethylene glycol (PEG) approach was employed to augment uricase stability and diminish immunogenicity. The pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of PHRU were tested in vitro and in Sprague Dawley rats. Successful expression of the fusion protein in E. coli and the development of the PEGylated drug were achieved. In vitro experiments confirmed the efficacy of PEG-PHRU in degrading uric acid, with PEGylation not markedly affecting the biological activity of PHRU. Animal studies revealed that PEG-PHRU significantly lowered plasma uric acid levels and mitigated hyperuricemia-induced renal damage in rats. Both drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics exhibited favorable characteristics without observable adverse effects in experimental animals. This novel fusion protein shows the potential for ameliorating hyperuricemia and related renal complications, highlighting it as a promising drug candidate with substantial market applications.

RESUMO

The Tianzhu white yaks (Bos grunniens) live on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. During winter, a lack of resources and low nutritional levels seriously affect their growth performance. In this study, we aimed to explore the effect of supplementation straw pellets on the growth performance and ruminal microbiota of yaks. Overall, at 6 (6M, n = 24), 18 (18M, n = 26), 30 (30M, n = 20), 42 (42M, n = 24), and 54 (54M, n = 22) month old Tianzhu white yaks were selected (total n = 116) and divided into the mixed straw + grazing (MSG), corn straw + grazing (CSG), and the grazing control (G) groups according to age and gender. Their growth performance was measured as per different dietary treatments. The rumen microbial community structure and levels of VFAs were analyzed from the 6M, 30M, and 54M male yaks from each group. The supplementary diets led to an increase in the ADG, which was the highest in the MSG group. The MSG group exhibited the highest level of acetate and total VFAs (TVFAs) among the three groups (p < 0.05). In addition, the 16S rRNA sequencing results proved that the microbial composition was dominated by the members of Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes. Christensenellaceae R-7 group was significantly abundant in the CSG and MSG groups compared to the G group (p < 0.05). Principal coordinate analysis (PCoA) revealed that the bacterial community structure of rumen in the MSG and CSG groups was considerably different from that in the G group; 6M samples exhibited different rumen microbial diversity compared with the other samples. Correlation analysis revealed that Christensenellaceae_R-7_group was positively correlated with the levels of acetate, TVFAs, and ADG. These results demonstrated that mixed straw pellets improved the growth performance of yaks, increased the abundance of Christensenellaceae R-7_group involved in cellulose degradation in the rumen, and produced large amounts of VFAs, which were absorbed by yaks, thus increasing their ADG. This study provides new insights into the effects of straw pellet supplementation on the changes in the rumen microbiota and growth performance of yaks.

RESUMO

Hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL) is involved in the breakdown of triacylglycerols in adipose tissue, which influences muscle tenderness and juiciness by affecting the intramuscular fat content (IMF). This study analyzed the association between different genotypes and haplotypes of the yak HSL gene and carcass and meat quality traits. We used hybridization pool sequencing to detect exon 2, exon 8, and intron 3 variants of the yak HSL gene and genotyped 525 Gannan yaks via KASP to analyze the effects of the HSL gene variants on the carcass and meat quality traits in yaks. According to the results, the HSL gene is highly expressed in yak adipose tissue. Three single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were identified, with 2 of them located in the coding region and one in the intron region. Variants in the 2 coding regions resulted in amino acid changes. The population had 3 genotypes of GG, AG, and AA, and individuals with the AA genotype had lower WBSF values (p < 0.05). The H3H3 haplotype combinations could improve meat tenderness by reducing the WBSF values and the cooking loss rate (CLR) (p < 0.05). H1H1 haplotype combinations were associated with the increased drip loss rate (DLR) (p < 0.05). The presence of the H1 haplotype was associated the increased CLR in yaks, while that of the H2 haplotype was associated with the decreased DLR in yaks (p < 0.05). These results demonstrated that the HSL gene may influence the meat quality traits in yaks by affecting the IMF content in muscle tissues. Consequently, the HSL gene can possibly be used as a biomarker for improving the meat quality traits in yaks in the future.

RESUMO

The process of muscle development and intramuscular fat (IMF) deposition is quite complex and controlled by both mRNAs and ncRNAs. Long-stranded non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs) are involved in various biological processes in mammals while also playing a critical role in muscle development and fat deposition. In the present study, RNA-Seq was used to comprehensively study the expression of lncRNAs and mRNAs during muscle development and intramuscular fat deposition in postnatal Tianzhu white yaks at three stages, including 6 mo of age (calve, n = 6), 30 mo of age (young cattle, n = 6) and 54 mo of age (adult cattle, n = 6). The results indicated that a total of 2,101 lncRNAs and 20,855 mRNAs were screened across the three stages, of which the numbers of differential expression (DE) lncRNAs and DE mRNAs were 289 and 1,339, respectively, and DE lncRNAs were divided into eight different expression patterns based on expression trends. Gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis revealed that some DE mRNAs overlapped with target genes of lncRNAs, such as NEDD4L, SCN3B, AGT, HDAC4, DES, MYH14, KLF15 (muscle development), ACACB, PCK2, LIPE, PIK3R1, PNPLA2, and MGLL (intramuscular fat deposition). These DE mRNAs were significantly enriched in critical muscle development and IMF deposition-related pathways and GO terms, such as AMPK signaling pathway, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, PPAR signaling pathway, etc. In addition, lncRNA-mRNA co-expression network analysis revealed that six lncRNAs (MSTRG.20152.2, MSTRG.20152.3, XR_001351700.1, MSTRG.8190.1, MSTRG.4827.1, and MSTRG.11486.1) may play a major role in Tianzhu white yak muscle development and lipidosis deposition. Therefore, this study enriches the database of yak lncRNAs and could help to further explore the functions and roles of lncRNAs in different stages of muscle development and intramuscular fat deposition in the Tianzhu white yak.

In-depth analysis of the molecular regulatory mechanisms involved in the development of yak skeletal muscle can aid in the identification of crucial functional genes that may enhance the quality of yak meat in the future. Our research is the first to investigate the expression of long-stranded non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) during muscle development and intramuscular fat deposition in Tianzhu white yaks at different ages (6, 30, and 54 mo). We have discovered numerous novel lncRNAs and their associated target genes that are linked to muscle development and fat deposition, and have constructed relevant interaction network diagrams. This study is expected to promote a genetics-based approach to further enhance the Tianzhu white yak and other yak breeds.

RESUMO

Objective: This study was conducted to evaluate the acute and subchronic toxicity of anthraquinone. An acute toxicity test was performed in female Sprague Dawley (SD) rats, and the oral median lethal dose (LD50) of anthraquinone was estimated to be >5000 mg/kg body weight (BW). In the subchronic study, groups of 10 male and 10 female rats were dosed with anthraquinone by gavage at 0, 1.36, 5.44, 21.76, and 174.08 mg/kg BW, 7 days/week for 90 days followed by a recovery period of 28 days. No appreciable toxic-related changes were observed in the 1.36 mg/kg BW group. When the animals received 5.44 mg/kg BW or more of anthraquinone, hyaline droplet accumulation in the renal tubules was observed in both the male and female rats, and anemia was observed in the females. When the anthraquinone dose reached 174.08 mg/kg BW, mild hepatocellular hypertrophy around the central vein of the hepatic lobule and hypothyroidism were observed in the female rats. During the recovery period, changes in clinical symptoms and parameters were considerably alleviated. Based on the results of this study, the no observed adverse effect level (NOAEL) for anthraquinone in rats was set at 1.36 mg/kg BW, and the lowest observed adverse effect level (LOAEL) was 5.44 mg/kg BW.

RESUMO

Previous studies have shown that some of the histone deacetylases (HDACs) play diverse roles in the regulation of ovarian somatic cell development, oocyte maturation and early embryonic development in different species including sheep. This study aimed to clarify whether HDAC1 also played pivotal roles in regulating oocyte maturation in Tan sheep. The results showed that HDAC1 was expressed in the nuclei of both the granulosa cells and oocytes of the growing follicles in the Tan sheep's ovaries. However, the level of HDAC1 was unaffected by luteinizing hormone (LH) induction in cultured granulosa cells. Meanwhile, the specific inhibition of HDAC1 using pyroxamide did not induce significant changes in the expression levels of EGF-like growth factors in vitro, whereas both the cumulus expansion and oocyte maturation of the cultured cumulus oocyte complexes (COCs) were significantly inhibited by pyroxamide. Additionally, the numbers of histone acetylation sites (H4K5, H4K12, H3K14 and H3K9) in ovarian granulosa cells were significantly increased. In conclusion, a constant expression of HDAC1 in the growing follicles of Tan sheep may be pivotal for supporting oocyte growth and maturation, although its action may not be closely correlated with LH induction, nor does it directly affect the expression of the EGF-like factors. Our study implies that there may exist diverse functions of the respective HDACs in modulating female reproduction in sheep.

RESUMO

To identify relationships between busulfan (Bu) exposure and outcomes of a cohort pediatric patients receiving hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), along with a targeted busulfan-based conditioning regimen. We retrospectively evaluated targeted busulfan concentrations in 53 pediatric patients (age 0.4-16 years) who received busulfan 4 times daily according to recommended weight-based doses in a single-center analysis between 2018 and 2020. In this trial, individual busulfan pharmacokinetics were performed following dose 5 of the conditioning regimen. Twenty four of 53 patients (45.3%) studies did not require dose adjustments. Equal number of patients (24/53) required one dose adjustments while two-dose adjustment applied for 5 of 53 (9.4%). Twenty-one percent of the patients exhibited ll-lV aGVHD. The incidence of veno-occlusive disease (VOD) was in 3.8% of the 53 patients, while incidence of hemorrhagic cystitis (II-III) reached to 9.7%. Engraftment was successful in 98% of the 53 patients with relapse in 2% of cases. The probability of overall survival and disease-free survival at day 100 was 96% and 94%, respectively. In conclusion, therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) and individualization of Bu dosage are essential to improve the efficacy and safety of busulfan-based regimen in Chinese pediatric HSCT recipients.

RESUMO

Precise diagnosis and monitoring of cancer depend on the development of advanced technologies for in vivo imaging. Owing to the merits of outstanding spatial resolution and excellent soft-tissue contrast, the application of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in biomedicine is of great importance. Herein, Angiopep-2 (ANG), which can simultaneously help to cross the blood-brain barrier and target the glioblastoma cells, was rationally combined with the 3.3 nm-sized ultra-small iron oxide (Fe3O4) to construct high-performance MRI nanoprobes (Fe3O4-ANG NPs) for glioblastoma diagnosis. The in vitro experiments show that the resultant Fe3O4-ANG NPs not only exhibit favorable relaxation properties and colloidal stability, but also have low toxicity and high specificity to glioblastoma cells, which provide critical prerequisites for the in vivo tumor imaging. Furthermore, in vivo imaging results show that the Fe3O4-ANG NPs exhibit good targeting ability toward subcutaneous and orthotopic glioblastoma model, manifesting an obvious contrast enhancement effect on the T1-weighted MR image, which demonstrates promising potential in clinical application.

RESUMO

Recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) is a common complication of pregnancy that affects the physical and mental health of pregnant women, and approximately 50% of the mechanisms are unclear. Our previous studies have found that high mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) molecules are highly expressed at the maternal-fetal interface of unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (URSA) patients. The purpose of this study was to further detect the expression of HMGB1 and pyroptosis in decidual tissue of URSA patients, and explore the potential mechanism of the protective role of HMGB1 in URSA patients and mouse model. The decidua tissues of 75 URSA patients and 75 women who actively terminated pregnancy were collected, and URSA mouse models were established and treated with HMGB1 inhibitor-aspirin. The expression of HMGB1, and their receptors (RAGE, TLR2, TLR4), pyroptosis-associated proteins (NLRP-3, caspase-1, GSDMD) and NF-κB was examined at the maternal-fetal interface of human and mouse. Our study found that HMGB1, NLRP-3, Caspase-1, GSDMD, RAGE, TLR2 and TLR4 were highly expressed and NF-κB signaling pathway were activated in the decidua tissue of URSA group. Moreover, immune cell disorder and co-localization of HMGB1 and macrophages were found at the maternal-fetal interface of URSA mice. However, HMGB1, TLR2, TLR4, NF-κB, and pyroptosis-associated proteins can be down-regulated by administering low-dose aspirin. These data may indicate that highly expressed HMGB1 was actively secreted by macrophages and then activated pyroptosis through the TLR2/TLR4-NF-κB pathway to cause aseptic inflammation, leading to the occurrence and development of URSA. Moreover, low-dose aspirin can reduce HMGB1 protein levels of serum and decidual in URSA.

RESUMO

A highly (110)-oriented ZnO porous nanosheet framework is designed as the photoanode in photoelectrochemical systems, by virtue of its anisotropic electronic properties. It can be facilely prepared in large scale via a hydrothermal method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analyses show that the orientation index of the (110) diffraction plane is 3.54, indicating the films possess (110) preferred orientation. Field-emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) images exhibit that most of the nanosheets stand nearly perpendicularly on the substrate. The {002} lattice planes work just like conducting wires and induce the electrons to transport to the substrate. Chronoamperometry measurement demonstrates an effective electron collection. When the nanostructured photoanode is introduced to dye-sensitized solar cells, a conversion efficiency of 3.7% is obtained. The photoanode also has potential application in the other photoelectrochemical systems, such as photocatalytical splitting of water.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: We undertook a meta-analysis to compare the efficacy and safety of single versus double door posterior cervical laminoplasty for cervical spondylotic myelopathy. METHODS: PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Central Register of controlled trials were searched for randomized controlled trials investigating single and double door posterior cervical laminoplasty for cervical spondylotic myelopathy. The Mantel-Haenszel method with the fixed-effects or random-effects model was used to calculate relative risks and 95% confidence intervals (CIs). RESULTS: Seven studies with 224 patients met the eligibility criteria and were included. There was a significant difference in Japanese Orthopedic Association score (MD = 0.79, 95%CI [0.09, 1.49], P = .03; P for heterogeneity = .09, I = 45%), and adverse events (OR = 0.32, 95%CI [0.11, 0.95], P = .04; P for heterogeneity = 1.00, I = 0%) between the double door posterior cervical laminoplasty group and the single door posterior cervical laminoplasty group. There was no significance in operative time (MD = 0.56, 95%CI [-11.86, 12.98], P = .93; P for heterogeneity = 0.001, I = 73%) and length of hospital stay (OR = -0.75, 95%CI [-1.78, 0.27], P = .15; P for heterogeneity = 1.00, I = 0%) between the 2 groups. CONCLUSION: Double door posterior cervical laminoplasty is more effective and safer than single door laminoplasty in the treatment of cervical spondylotic myelopathy.

RESUMO

PURPOSE: The meta-analysis aims to investigate the relationship between anti-phospholipase A2 receptor autoantibody (anti-PLA2R) and clinical characteristics and adverse outcomes of idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN). METHODS: Related studies published before February 2020 were systematically retrieved from foreign and domestic databases, RevMan5.3 software was used for meta-analysis and subgroup analysis, and STATA 15.0 statistical software was used for its heterogeneity and testing publication bias. RESULTS: Twenty studies were included, involving 2224 patients with IMN. Our results showed that a significant correlation existed between the expression of serum anti-PLA2R and age (MD = 2.91, 95% CI = 2.15-3.67, P < 0.00001), total serum cholesterol (MD = 35.52, 95% CI = 9.52-61.52, P = 0.007), urine protein by creatinine ratio (UPCR) (MD = 2.15, 95% CI = 1.86-2.44, P<0.00001), serum albumin (MD = -0.40, 95% CI = -0.56 to -0.23, P < 0.00001), eGFR (MD = -10.44, 95% CI = -12.19 to -8.68, P < 0.00001), unremission rate (RR = 1.76, 95% CI = 1.37-2.27, P < 0.0001). In addition, the high titer in seropositive group was closely correlated with serum albumin (MD = -0.40, 95% CI = -0.74 to -0.05, P = 0.03), eGFR (MD = -12.40, 95% CI = -16.29 to -8.52, P < 0.00001) and unremission rate (RR = 2.52, 95% CI = 1.79-3.55, P < 0.00001). No significant correlation was found between glomerular anti-PLA2R and clinical manifestations except for serum cholesterol (MD = 0.81, 95% CI = 0.21-1.41, P = 0.008). However, in terms of prognosis, glomerular anti-PLA2R showed a significant relevance to recurrence rate (RR = 2.25, 95% CI = 1.07-4.72, P = 0.03). CONCLUSION: Compared with glomerular anti-PLA2R, serum anti-PLA2R may better reflect the activities of IMN disease, while the glomerular anti-PLA2R might be connected with the recurrence of the disease.

RESUMO

Studies investigating the relationship between working memory (WM) and approximate number system (ANS) acuity in the area of arithmetic strategy utilization are scarce. The choice/no choice method paradigm was used in the present study to determine whether and how ANS acuity and WM components affected strategy utilization. The results showed that the central executive (CE) mediated the relationship between ANS acuity and strategy utilization. Furthermore, quantile regression analyses revealed that the association between CE and strategy choice was robust from the first to highest quantile. Notably, the relationship between ANS acuity and strategy choice was significant at the median and higher quantiles (i.e., 0.5, 0.75, and 0.85 quantiles), but not significant at lower quantiles (i.e., 0.15 and 0.25 quantiles). These results suggest that domain-general skills play a crucial role in the relationship between children's ANS acuity and mathematical ability. The impact of ANS acuity and CE on strategy choice was dependent on the distribution of the strategy utilization level. These results provide a further understanding of the utilization of cognitive strategies.

RESUMO

By ICP-AES, we established a method to quantitatively determine the micro-elements in couplers. We processed the unknown sample with wet digesting method. Nine micro-elements in the couplers can be quantitatively determined at the same time. Using the powerful chem.-station, we have discussed the method to eliminate physical interference and background correction. The results of the experiment showed that the method is accurate, quick, of high performance, and with all RSDs < or = 1.00%. The linear correlation coefficient of the tested elements is over 0.9999.

RESUMO

Enterobacter cancerogenus is usually known as an opportunistic human pathogen. Recently, it has attracted great attention for its capability to produce bioemulsifier, degrade xenobiotics, and resist alkalis and antibiotics. Here we report the complete genome of Enterobacter cancerogenus YZ1, isolated from a bran-feeding Coleoptera insect's frass.
