Background: Limited research has explored the relationship between adhering to 24-h Movement Behaviour guidelines and mental health in Chinese preschool children. The objectives of this study encompassed two primary goals: (1) to investigate the adherence of preschool children in China to the 24-h Movement Behaviour guidelines; and (2) to analyze the relationship between fulfilling various combinations of these guidelines and mental health, identifying the most advantageous combination. Methods: Utilizing a convenience sampling approach, this study included 205 preschool children (117 boys and 88 girls, average age 4.8 ± 0.51 years) from five kindergartens in Hengyang, Hunan Province. The physical activity (PA) and sedentary behaviour of preschool children were objectively assessed using waist-worn accelerometers, while sleep duration and screen time were reported by the children's parents. To evaluate mental health, the parent version of the internationally validated Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) was employed, which measures externalizing problems, internalizing problems, and prosocial behaviour. Employing Mplus 8.0 for Structural Equation Modeling analysis, while controlling for demographic variables, the study explored the connection between preschool children's mental health and their adherence to the 24-h Movement Behaviour guidelines. Results: Worryingly, merely 14.6% of preschoolers met the recommended guidelines for all three aspects (PA, sleep duration, and screen time). Positive correlations were identified between meeting PA guidelines and displaying prosocial behaviour (ß = 0.184; p < 0.05), while screen time adherence exhibited a negative correlation with externalizing problems (ß = -0.207; p < 0.05). Similarly, there was a negative association between sleep duration adherence and externalizing problems (ß = -0.191; p < 0.05). Meeting all three recommended guidelines was notably linked to enhanced prosocial behaviour (ß = 0.464; p < 0.05), while following the screen time and sleep duration guidelines was negatively associated with externalizing problems (ß = -0.246; p < 0.05). Conclusion: This study underscores the limited adherence of Chinese preschoolers to the comprehensive 24-h Movement Behaviour guidelines. Noteworthy findings include the positive influence of PA on prosocial behaviour, alongside the significant roles that sleep duration and screen time play in mitigating externalizing problems within this age group. Alignment with the 24-h Movement Behaviour guidelines is associated with more favorable mental health indicators in preschoolers.

BACKGROUND: The issue of low physical activity (PA) levels among the youth is a longstanding concern. Smartphone applications offer a promising avenue for delivering interventions that are both accessible and engaging. Up to now, there appears to be a gap in the literature, with no systematic reviews assessing the efficacy of smartphone apps in encouraging increased physical activity among healthy young adults. OBJECTIVE: To synthesize the effects of a smartphone app-based intervention on PA and PA-related psychological correlates in healthy young adults (18-35 years old). METHODS: A search was conducted on eighteen databases: PubMed, Medline, Web of Science, SPORTDiscus, Scopus, Academic Search Premier, Communication and Mass Media Complete, Article First, Biomed Central, BioOne, EBSCOHost, JSTOR, ProQuest, SAGE Reference Online, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Taylor&Francis, and Wiley Online. The search covered the period up until December 2023. This research included all randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that evaluated the effectiveness of smartphone app-based interventions on PA and PA related psychological outcomes in healthy young adults. The overall impact was determined by vote counting based on the direction of effect and aggregating p values. The quality of the evidence was evaluated using an 8-item scale. This study has been registered in the PROSPERO database with the identification number CRD42023390033. RESULTS: A total of 8403 articles were retrieved, and based on the predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, seven articles were selected for inclusion. Among these articles, four high-quality RCTs were identified, and the results of vote counting and combining p values methods suggested that smartphone-based app interventions did not demonstrate significant effectiveness in improving PA and PA-related psychological outcomes. However, some improvements were observed. The analysis results, which were categorized into fitness apps and health apps based on the characteristics of the interventions, also failed to demonstrate significant intervention effects. CONCLUSION: The findings indicate that, currently, there are no significant effects of smartphone app interventions on improving PA and PA-related psychological outcomes in healthy young adults aged 18-35 years. It is important to note that these findings should be interpreted with caution due to the limited number of included studies. Future research should focus on employing high-quality study designs to determine the true effects of interventions and analyze various smartphone app interventions. These analyses should encompass different app characteristics (e.g., fitness app and health app), various combinations (e.g., fitness app alone and fitness app in combination with other interventions), diverse intervention goals (e.g., PA and PA along with other outcomes), and multiple intervention characteristics (e.g., frequency and duration).

The 24-h movement behavior of preschoolers comprises a spectrum of activities, including moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity (MVPA), light-intensity physical activity (LPA), screen-based sedentary behavior (SCSB), non-screen-based sedentary behavior (NSCSB), and sleep. While previous research has shed light on the link between movement behaviors and children's mental health, the specific impacts on the unique demographic of Chinese preschoolers remain underexplored. This study significantly contributes to the literature by exploring how 24-h movement behavior affects the mental health of preschoolers in a Chinese context. The study involved205 Chinese preschool children (117 boys and 88 girls) between the ages of 3 and 6 years wore accelerometers to measure their LPA, MVPA, and sedentary behavior (SB), while their parents reported the time spent on sleep and SCSB. The parents also completed the Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire to assess their children's mental health. The study used compositional regression and isotemporal substitution models to examine the relationship between the various components of 24-h movement behavior and mental health. The results showed that greater NCSSB compared to MVPA, LPA, sleep, and SCSB was associated with good prosocial behavior and lower scores on externalizing problems. This highlights the potential of NSCSB as a beneficial component in the daily routine of preschoolers for fostering mental well-being. Replacing 15 min of sleep and SCSB with 15 min of NSCSB was associated with a decrease of 0.24 and 0.15 units, respectively, in externalizing problems. Reallocating 15 min of sleep to NSCSB was linked to an increase of 0.11 units in prosocial behavior. There were no significant substitution effects between LPA and MVPA time with any other movement behavior on prosocial behavior and externalizing problems. Given the positive associations observed, further longitudinal studies are necessary to explore the link between 24-h movement behavior and mental health in preschool children.

Mitochondrial transfer occurs between cells, and it is important for damaged cells to receive healthy mitochondria to maintain their normal function and protect against cell death. Accumulating evidence suggests that the functional mitochondria of astrocytes are released and transferred to oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R)-injured neurons. Mild hypothermia (33 °C) is capable of promoting this process, which partially restores the function of damaged neurons. However, the pathways and mechanisms by which mild hypothermia facilitates mitochondrial transfer remain unclear. We are committed to studying the role of mild hypothermia in neuroprotection to provide reliable evidences and insights for the clinical application of mild hypothermia in brain protection. Tunneling nanotubes (TNTs) are considered to be one of the routes through which mitochondria are transferred between cells. In this study, an OGD/R-injured neuronal model was successfully established, and TNTs, mitochondria, neurons and astrocytes were double labeled using immunofluorescent probes. Our results showed that TNTs were present and involved in the transfer of mitochondria between cells in the mixed-culture system of neurons and astrocytes. When neurons were subjected to OGD/R exposure, TNT formation and mitochondrial transportation from astrocytes to injured neurons were facilitated. Further analysis revealed that mild hypothermia increased the quantity of astrocytic mitochondria transferred into damaged neurons through TNTs, raised the mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), and decreased the neuronal damage and death during OGD/R. Altogether, our data indicate that TNTs play an important role in the endogenous neuroprotection of astrocytic mitochondrial transfer. Furthermore, mild hypothermia enhances astrocytic mitochondrial transfer into OGD/R-injured neurons via TNTs, thereby promoting neuroprotection and neuronal recovery.

Background: Technology-based exercise programs have the potential to reduce chronic disease prevalence and obesity-related risks. This research focuses on the impact of both traditional and virtual exercise programs on the health metrics of corporate employees. Methods: The study involved 30 corporate employees (16 females, average age ± SD = 37.8 ± 8.8 years) from Nigeria, who were divided into two experimental groups (one experiencing traditional exercises with an on-site trainer, and the other participating in live, virtual classes via Zoom) and a control group continuing usual practices. The 6-week intervention measured several health outcomes, including resting heart rate, blood pressure (both diastolic and systolic), body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, and waist-hip ratio, both before and after the intervention. Results: One-way analysis of covariance yielded significantly greater decreases in the diastolic blood pressure, F(2,27) = 3.7, p < 0.04; systolic blood pressure F(2,27) = 3.5, p < 0.04, body mass index, F(2,26) = 7.8, p < 0.01, and waist circumference, F(2,27) = 39.1, p < 0.01. Conclusions: The study concludes that virtual-based exercise programs are as effective as traditional ones. Offering a virtual exercise option provides flexibility, potentially increasing adherence to exercise routines among corporate workers.

BACKGROUND: High blood pressure (BP) is a major contributor to mortality and cardiovascular diseases. Despite the known benefits of exercise for reducing BP, it is crucial to identify the most effective physical activity (PA) intervention. This systematic review and network meta-analysis (NMA) aimed to evaluate the available evidence on the effectiveness of various PA interventions for reducing BP and to determine their hierarchy based on their impact on BP. METHODS: A search of PubMed, SPORTDiscus, PsycINFO, Web of Science, CINAHL, Cochrane, and Eric databases was conducted up to December 2022 for this systematic review and NMA. Randomized controlled trials and quasi-experimental studies targeting healthy children and adolescents aged 6-12 years old were included in this study. Only studies that compared controlled and intervention groups using PA or exercise as the major influence were included. We followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Three independent investigators performed the literature screening, data extraction, and risk of bias assessment. We used Bayesian arm-based NMA to synthesize the data. The primary outcomes were systolic BP and diastolic BP. We calculated the mean differences (MDs) in systolic BP and diastolic BP before and after treatment. Mean treatment differences were estimated using NMA and random-effect models. RESULTS: We synthesized 27 studies involving 15,220 children and adolescents. PA combined with nutrition and behavior change was the most effective intervention for reducing both systolic BP and diastolic BP ((MD = -8.64, 95% credible interval (95%CI):-11.44 to -5.84); (MD = -6.75, 95%CI: -10.44 to -3.11)), followed by interventions with multiple components ((MD = -1.39, 95%CI: -1.94 to -0.84); (MD = -2.54, 95%CI: -4.89 to -0.29)). CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that PA interventions incorporating nutrition and behavior change, followed by interventions with multiple components, are most effective for reducing both systolic BP and diastolic BP in children and adolescents.

The development of rainwater utilization strategies has relied on rainwater harvesting (RWH) systems for centuries to alleviate the pressure on water resources. However, there are still significant knowledge gaps regarding the changes in water quality in RWH systems during long-term storage in non-rainy seasons. This study evaluated the water quality processes in RWH systems through static rainwater storage experiments for approximately 60 days. The results revealed that nutrients in rainwater accumulated in sediment during storage. Disturbance and redox conditions at the rainwater-sediment interface contribute to the release of sedimentary facies materials. The rainwater showed distinct DO stratification, with the biochemical reactions of sedimentary facies being the primary factor driving oxygen consumption. ORP and turbidity showed positive correlations with COD (r = 0.582; 0.572), TOC (r = 0.678; 0.681), TN (r = 0.452; 0.439), and NH4+-N (r = 0.502; 0.553) (P < 0.05). The regulation of water quality and extension of the usage cycle were identified as critical factors influenced by DO. In addition, bacteria share similar ecological niche preferences. These findings provide scientific evidence for the high-quality reuse of rainwater in decentralized RWH systems during long-term storage in non-rainy seasons.

Cloth-changing person reidentification (ReID) is a newly emerging research topic aimed at addressing the issues of large feature variations due to cloth-changing and pedestrian view/pose changes. Although significant progress has been achieved by introducing extra information (e.g., human contour sketching information, human body keypoints, and 3D human information), cloth-changing person ReID remains challenging because pedestrian appearance representations can change at any time. Moreover, human semantic information and pedestrian identity information are not fully explored. To solve these issues, we propose a novel identity-guided collaborative learning scheme (IGCL) for cloth-changing person ReID, where the human semantic is effectively utilized and the identity is unchangeable to guide collaborative learning. First, we design a novel clothing attention degradation stream to reasonably reduce the interference caused by clothing information where clothing attention and mid-level collaborative learning are employed. Second, we propose a human semantic attention and body jigsaw stream to highlight the human semantic information and simulate different poses of the same identity. In this way, the extraction features not only focus on human semantic information that is unrelated to the background but are also suitable for pedestrian pose variations. Moreover, a pedestrian identity enhancement stream is proposed to enhance the identity importance and extract more favorable identity robust features. Most importantly, all these streams are jointly explored in an end-to-end unified framework, and the identity is utilized to guide the optimization. Extensive experiments on six public clothing person ReID datasets (LaST, LTCC, PRCC, NKUP, Celeb-reID-light, and VC-Clothes) demonstrate the superiority of the IGCL method. It outperforms existing methods on multiple datasets, and the extracted features have stronger representation and discrimination ability and are weakly correlated with clothing.

Cloth-changing person re-identification (ReID) is a newly emerging research topic that aims to retrieve pedestrians whose clothes are changed. Since the human appearance with different clothes exhibits large variations, it is very difficult for existing approaches to extract discriminative and robust feature representations. Current works mainly focus on body shape or contour sketches, but the human semantic information and the potential consistency of pedestrian features before and after changing clothes are not fully explored or are ignored. To solve these issues, in this work, a novel semantic-aware attention and visual shielding network for cloth-changing person ReID (abbreviated as SAVS) is proposed where the key idea is to shield clues related to the appearance of clothes and only focus on visual semantic information that is not sensitive to view/posture changes. Specifically, a visual semantic encoder is first employed to locate the human body and clothing regions based on human semantic segmentation information. Then, a human semantic attention (HSA) module is proposed to highlight the human semantic information and reweight the visual feature map. In addition, a visual clothes shielding (VCS) module is also designed to extract a more robust feature representation for the cloth-changing task by covering the clothing regions and focusing the model on the visual semantic information unrelated to the clothes. Most importantly, these two modules are jointly explored in an end-to-end unified framework. Extensive experiments demonstrate that the proposed method can significantly outperform state-of-the-art methods, and more robust features can be extracted for cloth-changing persons. Compared with multibiometric unified network (MBUNet) (published in TIP2023), this method can achieve improvements of 17.5% (30.9%) and 8.5% (10.4%) on the LTCC and Celeb-reID datasets in terms of mean average precision (mAP) (rank-1), respectively. When compared with the Swin Transformer (Swin-T), the improvements can reach 28.6% (17.3%), 22.5% (10.0%), 19.5% (10.2%), and 8.6% (10.1%) on the PRCC, LTCC, Celeb, and NKUP datasets in terms of rank-1 (mAP), respectively.

RESUMEN

Talking face generation is the process of synthesizing a lip-synchronized video when given a reference portrait and an audio clip. However, generating a fine-grained talking video is nontrivial due to several challenges: 1) capturing vivid facial expressions, such as muscle movements; 2) ensuring smooth transitions between consecutive frames; and 3) preserving the details of the reference portrait. Existing efforts have only focused on modeling rigid lip movements, resulting in low-fidelity videos with jerky facial muscle deformations. To address these challenges, we propose a novel Fine-gRained mOtioN moDel (FROND), consisting of three components. In the first component, we adopt a two-stream encoder to capture local facial movement keypoints and embed their overall motion context as the global code. In the second component, we design a motion estimation module to predict audio-driven movements. This enables the learning of local key point motion in the continuous trajectory space to achieve smooth temporal facial movements. Additionally, the local and global motions are fused to estimate a continuous dense motion field, resulting in spatially smooth movements. In the third component, we devise a novel implicit image decoder based on an implicit neural network. This decoder recovers high-frequency information from the input image, resulting in a high-fidelity talking face. In summary, the FROND refines the motion trajectories of facial keypoints into a continuous dense motion field, which is followed by a decoder that fully exploits the inherent smoothness of the motion. We conduct quantitative and qualitative model evaluations on benchmark datasets. The experimental results show that our proposed FROND significantly outperforms several state-of-the-art baselines.

BACKGROUND: Executive function plays a crucial role in children's cognitive development, academic performance, as well as their physical and mental health. This study aims to assess the impact of exergaming on executive functions in pediatric populations. METHODS: The criteria of inclusion were randomized controlled trials of exergaming intervention and evaluation of executive function in children aged 4-12 years. A meta-analysis was performed in databases of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (in Chinese), Wan Fang (in Chinese), Web of Science, Embase, and PubMed, from January 2010 to February 2023, following the PRISMA guidelines. Risk of bias was assessed by the Jadad scale, the Cochrane risk of bias assessment tool, funnel plot, and regression-based Egger test. The Review Manager 5.3 was used to analyze the included articles using a random-effects model, and the effects were calculated as standardized mean difference (SMD). RESULTS: Eleven experimental studies with children (n = 508) were included. Exergaming was found to have a positive impact on children's cognitive flexibility (SMD = 0.34, 95%CI [0.17,0.52], P < 0.01), inhibitory control (SMD = 0.57, 95%CI [0.31,0.83], P < 0.01), and working memory (SMD = 0.26, 95%CI [0.02,0.51], P < 0.05). The publication bias were observed. CONCLUSIONS: Exergaming has the potential to improve executive functions in children. More studies with rigorous designs are warranted to explore the specific effects of exergaming intervention. This study was registered on the PROSPERO (CRD42023401526).

Partial person re-identification (ReID) aims to solve the problem of image spatial misalignment due to occlusions or out-of-views. Despite significant progress through the introduction of additional information, such as human pose landmarks, mask maps, and spatial information, partial person ReID remains challenging due to noisy keypoints and impressionable pedestrian representations. To address these issues, we propose a unified attribute-guided collaborative learning scheme for partial person ReID. Specifically, we introduce an adaptive threshold-guided masked graph convolutional network that can dynamically remove untrustworthy edges to suppress the diffusion of noisy keypoints. Furthermore, we incorporate human attributes and devise a cyclic heterogeneous graph convolutional network to effectively fuse cross-modal pedestrian information through intra- and inter-graph interaction, resulting in robust pedestrian representations. Finally, to enhance keypoint representation learning, we design a novel part-based similarity constraint based on the axisymmetric characteristic of the human body. Extensive experiments on multiple public datasets have shown that our model achieves superior performance compared to other state-of-the-art baselines.

This study investigated the effects of a dance-based exergaming on Chinese college students' energy expenditure, self-efficacy, and enjoyment in comparison with the traditional aerobic dance exercise. Forty young adults (33 females; Mage = 21.55 years, SD = 2.06) completed two separate 20 min exercise sessions with 10 min intervals on the same day: (1) Xbox 360 Kinect Just Dance exergaming session; and (2) a traditional instructor-led aerobic dance exercise session. Participants' energy expenditure (Kcal/session) was measured by the ActiGraph GT9X Link accelerometers, and their perceived self-efficacy and enjoyment were assessed via validated surveys following each session. Dependent t-test indicated significant differences in participants' enjoyment (t = -1.83, p = 0.04). Specifically, participants in the dance-based exergaming session reported a higher level of enjoyment (M = 3.96, SD = 0.65) as compared to the aerobic dance session (M = 3.61, SD = 0.54). However, there was no significant difference in energy expenditure and self-efficacy between the two sessions. Findings suggest that college students had comparable energy expenditure as the traditional aerobic dance session while experiencing more fun and enjoyment. This suggests that exergaming can be a fun exercise alternative for promoting physical activity among young adults.

Adverse childhood events (ACEs) are associated with poor health outcomes and behaviors. Research has shown that physical activity (PA) can have a protective effect on the relationship between ACEs and health outcomes. This study aimed to explore the moderating effects of PA on the relationships between ACEs (physical and emotional abuse) and physical and psychological health (depression and self-esteem) among South Korean middle school students. The data used in this study were from the 2020 Korean Children and Youth Rights Survey (KCYRS), which had 2640 participants. The results indicated that PA could lessen the negative effects of emotional abuse on physical health and self-esteem. However, there was no significant moderating effect of PA in the relationship between physical abuse and health outcomes. The findings suggest that, while PA might be a protective factor for individuals exposed to emotional abuse, the effects of abuse on engaging in PA and the benefits of PA can be complex. Further research is needed to understand how different types of ACEs affect individuals and how PA can mitigate negative impacts. Health professionals, educators, and stakeholders should provide more opportunities for PA to support healthy behaviors and prevent negative health outcomes in adulthood for youth exposed to ACEs.

PURPOSE: This study aimed to examine the effects of a multi-component mobile health intervention (wearable, apps, and social media) on cancer survivors' (CS') physical activity (PA), quality of life, and PA determinants compared to exercise prescription only, social media only, and attention control conditions. METHODS: A total of 126 CS (age = 60.37 ± 7.41 years, mean ± SD) were recruited from the United States. The study duration was 6 months and participants were randomly placed into 4 groups. All participants received a Fitbit tracker and were instructed to install its companion app to monitor their daily PA. They (1) received previously established weekly personalized exercise prescriptions via email, (2) received weekly Facebook health education and interacted with one another, (3) received both Conditions 1 and 2, or (4) were part of the control condition, meaning they adopted usual care. CS PA daily steps, quality of life (i.e., physical health and mental health), and PA determinants (e.g., self-efficacy, social support) were measured at baseline, 3 months, and 6 months. RESULTS: The final sample size included 123 CS. The results revealed only the multi-component condition had greater improvements in PA daily steps than the control condition post-intervention (95% confidence interval (95%CI): 368-2951; p < 0.05). Similarly, those in the multi-component condition had significantly greater increased physical health than the control condition (95%CI: -0.41 to -0.01; p < 0.05) over time. In addition, the social media condition had significantly greater increased perceived social support than the control condition (95%CI: 0.01-0.93; p < 0.05). No other significant differences on outcomes were identified. CONCLUSION: The study findings suggest that the implementation of a multi-component mobile health intervention had positive effects on CS PA steps and physical health. Also, offering social media intervention has the potential to improve CS perceived social support.

RESUMEN

The goal of talking face generation is to synthesize a sequence of face images of the specified identity, ensuring the mouth movements are synchronized with the given audio. Recently, image-based talking face generation has emerged as a popular approach. It could generate talking face images synchronized with the audio merely depending on a facial image of arbitrary identity and an audio clip. Despite the accessible input, it forgoes the exploitation of the audio emotion, inducing the generated faces to suffer from emotion unsynchronization, mouth inaccuracy, and image quality deficiency. In this article, we build a bistage audio emotion-aware talking face generation (AMIGO) framework, to generate high-quality talking face videos with cross-modally synced emotion. Specifically, we propose a sequence-to-sequence (seq2seq) cross-modal emotional landmark generation network to generate vivid landmarks, whose lip and emotion are both synchronized with input audio. Meantime, we utilize a coordinated visual emotion representation to improve the extraction of the audio one. In stage two, a feature-adaptive visual translation network is designed to translate the synthesized landmarks into facial images. Concretely, we proposed a feature-adaptive transformation module to fuse the high-level representations of landmarks and images, resulting in significant improvement in image quality. We perform extensive experiments on the multi-view emotional audio-visual dataset (MEAD) and crowd-sourced emotional multimodal actors dataset (CREMA-D) benchmark datasets, demonstrating that our model outperforms state-of-the-art benchmarks.

Identification, quantification, and control of First-Flush (FF) are considered extremely crucial in urban stormwater management. This paper reviews the methods for FF phenomenon identification, characteristics of pollutants flushes, technologies for FF pollution control, and the relationships among these factors. It further discusses FF quantification methods and optimization of control measures, aiming to reveal directions for future studies on FF management. Results showed that statistical analyses and Runoff Pollutographs Applying Curve (RPAC) fitting modelling of wash-off processes are the most applicable FF identification methods currently available. Furthermore, deep insights into the pollutant mass flushing of roof runoff may be a critical approach to characterizing FF stormwater. Finally, a novel strategy for FF control is established comprising multi-stage objectives, coupling LID/BMPs optimization schemes and Information Feedback (IF) mechanisms, aiming towards its application for the management of urban stormwater at the watershed scale.

More than 50% of Chinese college students rarely engage in any type of physical activity (PA). The literature shows several issues in college students' health due to lack of PA. Promoting college students' PA participation across the country has become a challenging task. This study aims to create a questionnaire into the correlates that affect Chinese college students' engagement in leisure time PA. We first determined the factor structure of college students' PA engagements. Then, we tested and verified the reliability and validity of the factor structure of the questionnaire. The Chinese college students' PA correlates questionnaire was designed according to the Social Ecological Model. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) extracted all the included items, whereas confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) verified the validity of the model. We recruited 1290 college students to complete the questionnaire. A second-order structural model was constructed. Specifically, the first-order included individual, social, and environmental as dimensions, while the second-order had interest, media, social support, traditional culture, facilities, and environment as factors. The six factors have polymerized 22 items. The model demonstrated a good fit (X2/df = 1.4; CFI = 0.98; GFI = 0.94; RMSEA = 0.02; SRMR = 0.05). In conclusion, the newly established questionnaire of college students' PA correlates is reasonable, and the results of factors reliabilities and model fit are acceptable.

Designing porous carbon materials with tailored architecture and appropriate compositions is essential for supercapacitor (SC) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Herein, Nb/Co-modified dual-source porous carbon (Nb/Co-DSPC) with a honeycomb structure was obtained by introducing a secondary carbon source (Co/Zn-ZIF) and transition metal Nb into activated Typha carbon (ATC). The addition of a secondary carbon source and Nb resulted in superior specific surface area (1272.38 m2/g), excellent hydrophilicity (34.73°) and abundant bimetallic active sites (Nb/Co-Nx) in Nb/Co-DSPC, providing excellent charge storage capacity and electrocatalytic activity. The Nb/Co-DSPC electrode displayed an outstanding capacitance of 337 F/g at 0.5 A/g and showed excellent stability after 15,000 charge-discharge cycles. In addition, Nb/Co-DSPC shows an overpotential of 114 mV at 10 mA cm-2, better than those of Co-DSPC (139 mV) and ATC (162 mV) alone. This study offers a reliable strategy for advanced multifunctional porous carbon electrode materials preparations.
