RESUMEN

This work offered a productive technique for resveratrol extraction from Polygonum Cuspidatum (P. Cuspidatum) using ionic liquids in synergy with ultrasound-enzyme-assisted extraction (UEAE). Firstly, ionic liquids with different carbon chains and anions were evaluated. Subsequently, a comprehensive investigation was carried out to evaluate the effect of seven crucial parameters on the resveratrol yield: pH value, enzyme concentration, extraction temperature, extraction time, ultrasonic power, concentration of ionic liquid (IL concentration) and the liquid-solid ratio. Employing the Plackett-Burman Design (PBD), the critical factors were effectively identified. Building upon this foundation, the process was further optimized through the application of Response Surface Methodology (RSM) and an Artificial Neural Network-Genetic Algorithm (ANN-GA). The following criteria were determined to be the ideal extraction conditions: an enzyme concentration of 2.18%, extraction temperature of 58 °C, a liquid-solid ratio of 29 mL/g, pH value of 5.5, extraction time of 30 min, ultrasonic power of 250 W, and extraction solvent of 0.5 mol/L 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide. Under these conditions, the resveratrol yield was determined to be 2.90 ± 0.15 mg/g. Comparative analysis revealed that the ANN-GA model provided a better fit to the experimental data of resveratrol yield than the RSM model, suggesting superior predictive capabilities of the ANN-GA approach. The introduction of a novel green solvent system in this experiment not only simplifies the extraction process but also enhances safety and feasibility. This research paves the way for innovative approaches to extracting resveratrol from botanical sources, showcasing its significant potential for a wide range of applications.

Strain is an important property in halide perovskite semiconductors used for optoelectronic applications because of its ability to influence device efficiency and stability. However, descriptions of strain in these materials are generally limited to bulk averages of bare films, which miss important property-determining heterogeneities that occur on the nanoscale and at interfaces in multilayer device stacks. Here, we present three-dimensional nanoscale strain mapping using Bragg coherent diffraction imaging of individual grains in Cs0.1FA0.9Pb(I0.95Br0.05)3 and Cs0.15FA0.85SnI3 (FA = formamidinium) halide perovskite absorbers buried in full solar cell devices. We discover large local strains and striking intragrain and grain-to-grain strain heterogeneity, identifying distinct islands of tensile and compressive strain inside grains. Additionally, we directly image dislocations with surprising regularity in Cs0.15FA0.85SnI3 grains and find evidence for dislocation-induced antiphase boundary formation. Our results shine a rare light on the nanoscale strains in these materials in their technologically relevant device setting.

Dry eye disease (DED) represents a prevalent ocular surface disease. The development of effective nutritional management strategies for DED is crucial due to its association with various factors such as inflammation, oxidative stress, deficiencies in polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), imbalanced PUFA ratios, and vitamin insufficiencies. Extensive research has explored the impact of oral nutritional supplements, varying in composition and dosage, on the symptoms of DED. The main components of these supplements include fish oils (Omega-3 fatty acids), vitamins, trace elements, and phytochemical extracts. Beyond these well-known nutrients, it is necessary to explore whether novel nutrients might contribute to more effective DED management. This review provides a comprehensive update on the therapeutic potential of nutrients and presents new perspectives for combination supplements in DED treatment.

Blockchain cross-chaining is about interconnectivity and interoperability between chains and involves both physical to virtual digital aspects and cross-chaining between digital networks. During the process, the liquidity transfer of information or assets can increase the use of items with other chains, so it is worth noting that the enhancement of cross-chain liquidity is of great practical importance to cross-chain technology. In this model, Layerzero is used as the primary secure cross-chain facility to build a full-chain identity by unifying NFT-distributed autonomous cross-chain identity IDs; applying super-contract pairs to enhance cross-chain liquidity; and initiating a dynamic transaction node creditworthiness model to increase the security of the cross-chain model and its risk management. Finally, by verifying three important property metrics timeliness is improved by at least 18%, robustness is increased by at least 50.9%, and radius of convergence is reduced by at least 25%. It is verified that the liquidity cross-chain model can eliminate the authentication transition between hierarchies while saving the cross-chain time cost, as a way to truly realize the liquid interoperability between multiple chains of blockchain.

This study integrates hollow microneedle arrays (HMNA) with a novel jellyfish-shaped electrochemical sensor for the detection of key biomarkers, including uric acid (UA), glucose, and pH, in artificial interstitial fluid. The jellyfish-shaped sensor displayed linear responses in detecting UA and glucose via differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and chronoamperometry, respectively. Notably, the open circuit potential (OCP) of the system showed a linear variation with pH changes, validating its pH-sensing capability. The sensor system demonstrates exceptional electrochemical responsiveness within the physiological concentration ranges of these biomarkers in simulated epidermis sensing applications. The detection linear ranges of UA, glucose, and pH were 0~0.8 mM, 0~7 mM, and 4.0~8.0, respectively. These findings highlight the potential of the HMNA-integrated jellyfish-shaped sensors in real-world epidermal applications for comprehensive disease diagnosis and health monitoring.

Swine acute diarrhea syndrome coronavirus (SADS-CoV) has caused severe intestinal diseases in pigs. It originates from bat coronaviruses HKU2 and has a potential risk of cross-species transmission, raising concerns about its zoonotic potential. Viral entry-related host factors are critical determinants of susceptibility to cells, tissues, or species, and remain to be elucidated for SADS-CoV. Type II transmembrane serine proteases (TTSPs) family is involved in many coronavirus infections and has trypsin-like catalytic activity. Here we examine all 18 members of the TTSPs family through CRISPR-based activation of endogenous protein expression in cells, and find that, in addition to TMPRSS2 and TMPRSS4, TMPRSS13 significantly facilitates SADS-CoV infection. This is confirmed by ectopic expression of TMPRSS13, and specific to trypsin-dependent SADS-CoV. Infection with pseudovirus bearing SADS-CoV spike protein indicates that TMPRSS13 acts at the entry step and is sensitive to serine protease inhibitor Camostat. Moreover, both human and pig TMPRSS13 are able to enhance the cell-cell membrane fusion and cleavage of spike protein. Overall, we demonstrate that TMPRSS13 is another host serine protease promoting the membrane-fusion entry of SADS-CoV, which may expand its host tropism by using diverse TTSPs.

RESUMEN

A new spleenwort species, Aspleniumguodanum, was found and described from Danxia landform region in Guangdong, China. The new species has close resemblance to A.subcrenatum Ching ex S.H.Wu in morphology, but can be distinguished by having plants small, stipes and rachises not covered with fibrous scales, relatively fewer pairs of pinnae, pinnae short, pinna margin weakly biserrate, pinna apex acute and lower pinnae obviously reduced. Phylogenetic analyses, based on six plastid markers (atpB, rbcL, rps4 & rps4-trnS and trnL & trnL-F) of the new species and its relatives, support a close relationship between A.guodanum and A.subcrenatum. Only one population with no more than 50 individuals were found and, therefore, it is recommended to be classified as Critically Endangered (CR) following IUCN Red List Criteria.

Objective: Studies of the association between clean energy consumption, sleep duration, and cancer are still extremely limited. We aim to investigate the individual or joint role of clean energy consumption, and sleep duration in cancer onset. Methods: We used data from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study. Multivariable locally weighted regression (LOESS) models were first used to assess the individual association of daily sleep time with the risk to develop cancer. Multivariate logistic regression models were conducted on the individual and interaction effects of daily sleep time and cooking fuel. Results: We found that short sleep duration (≤6 hours) and non-clean energy consumption were respectively associated with an increased risk of cancer among older Chinese(p<0.05). We assessed daily sleep time in four quartiles, the adjusted odds ratios (AOR), and 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) for participants in the second (5.0 to <6.5 hours), third (6.5 to <8.0 hours), and fourth quartiles (≥8.0 hours) were 0.88 (95% CI: 0.65-1.20), 0.61 (95% CI: 0.40-0.91), and 0.53 (95% CI: 0.37-0.77), respectively. When we set the cutoff point(6.5 hours), participants who slept more than 6 hours had a 39% lower risk of cancer (AOR: 0.61, 95% CI: 0.46-0.79) compared with others. On the other hand, we conducted that exposure to clean fuel from cooking was negatively associated with cancer incidence (AOR: 0.73, 95% CI: 0.54, 0.97). Furthermore, the combination of longer sleep and cleaner fuels showed the lowest OR for cancer (AOR: 0.39, 95% CI: 0.24, 0.65). Conclusion: Our study showed that sleep duration and clean energy consumption were significantly associated with cancer in elderly Chinese people. In addition, the prevalence of cancer was higher among people who slept less than six hours and used non-clean energy sources. Paying greater attention to the effects of sleep duration and clean energy on the risk of cancer may yield practical implications for cancer prevention.

BACKGROUND: Metabolic diseases are associated with thyroid disorders. Insulin resistance is the common pathological basis of metabolic diseases. We explored the relationship between the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index, a simple insulin-resistance marker, and thyroid disorders. METHODS: Eligible TIDE (Thyroid Diseases, Iodine Status and Diabetes Epidemiology) subjects (n = 47,710) were screened with inclusion/exclusion criteria. Thyroid disorder prevalence among different TyG index groups was stratified by sex. Logistic regression evaluated the correlation between the TyG index and thyroid disorders. Multiple linear regression evaluated the association between the TyG index and TSH. Additionally, two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) using published genome-wide association study data evaluated causality in the association between the TyG index and TSH. RESULTS: Men and women with greater TyG indices had a significantly greater prevalence of thyroid disorders than individuals with the lowest quartile (Q1) of TyG index (p < 0.05). Following adjustment for confounding factors, we observed that a greater TyG index significantly increased the risk of subclinical hypothyroidism in men and women (men: Q2: odds ratio (OR) [95% confidence interval (CI)] = 1.22 [1.07-1.38], p = 0.002; Q3: OR [95% CI] = 1.28 [1.12-1.45], p < 0.001; Q4: OR [95% CI] = 1.29 [1.12-1.50], p = 0.001; women: Q2: OR [95% CI] = 1.25 [1.12-1.39], p < 0.001; Q3: OR [95% CI] = 1.47 [1.31-1.64], p < 0.001; Q4: OR [95% CI] = 1.61 [1.43-1.82], p < 0.001). Only among women was the highest TyG index quartile associated with hypothyroidism (OR [95% CI] = 1.70 [1.15-2.50], p = 0.007). Additionally, in men, the association exists only in the more than adequate iodine intake population. In women, the relationship between the TyG index and thyroid disorders disappears after menopause. Furthermore, the TyG index exhibited a linear positive correlation with TSH levels. The MR analysis results revealed a causal relationship between a genetically determined greater TyG index and increased TSH (inverse-variance weighting (IVW): OR [95% CI] = 1.14 [1.02-1.28], p = 0.020); however, this causal relationship disappeared after adjusting for BMI in multivariable MR (MVMR) analysis (MVMR-IVW: OR 1.03, 95% CI 0.87-1.22, p = 0.739). CONCLUSIONS: A greater TyG index is associated with hypothyroidism and subclinical hypothyroidism and varies by sex and menopausal status. MR analysis demonstrated that the causal relationship between a genetically determined greater TyG index and elevated TSH levels is confounded or mediated by BMI.

Biofiltration systems harbored and disseminated antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs), when confronting antibiotic-contained wastewater. Biochar, a widely used environmental remediation material, can mitigate antibiotic stress on adjoining microbes by lowering the availability of sorbed antibiotics, and enhance the attachment of denitrifiers. Herein, bench-scale biofiltration systems, packed with commercial biochars, were established to explore the pivotal drivers affecting ARG emergence. Results showed that biofiltration columns, achieving higher TN removal and denitrification capacity, showed a significant decrease in ARG accumulation (p < 0.05). The relative abundance of ARGs (0.014 ± 0.0008) in the attached biofilms decreased to 1/5-folds of that in the control group (0.065 ± 0.004). Functional analysis indicated ARGs' accumulation was less attributed to ARG activation or horizontal gene transfer (HGT) driven by sorbed antibiotics. Most denitrifiers, like Bradyrhizobium, Geothrix, etc., were found to be enriched and host ARGs. Nitrosative stress from deficient denitrification was demonstrated to be the dominant driver for affecting ARG accumulation and dissemination. Metagenomic and metaproteomic analysis revealed that nitrosative stress promoted the conjugative HGT of ARGs mainly via increasing the transmembrane permeability and enhancing the amino acid transport and metabolism, such as cysteine, methionine, and valine metabolism. Overall, this study highlighted the risks of deficient denitrification in promoting ARG transfer and transmission in biofiltration systems and natural ecosystems.

Zoonotic coronaviruses pose a continuous threat to human health, with newly identified bat-borne viruses like swine acute diarrhea syndrome coronavirus (SADS-CoV) causing high mortality in piglets. In vitro studies indicate that SADS-CoV can infect cell lines from diverse species, including humans, highlighting its potential risk to human health. However, the lack of tools to study viral entry, along with the absence of vaccines or antiviral therapies, perpetuates this threat. To address this, we engineered an infectious molecular clone of Vesicular Stomatitis Virus (VSV), replacing its native glycoprotein (G) with SADS-CoV spike (S) and inserting a Venus reporter at the 3' leader region to generate a replication-competent rVSV-Venus-SADS S virus. Serial passages of rVSV-Venus-SADS S led to the identification of an 11-amino-acid truncation in the cytoplasmic tail of the S protein, which allowed more efficient viral propagation due to increased cell membrane anchoring of the S protein. The S protein was integrated into rVSV-Venus-SADS SΔ11 particles, susceptible to neutralization by sera from SADS-CoV S1 protein-immunized rabbits. Additionally, we found that TMPRSS2 promotes SADS-CoV spike-mediated cell entry. Furthermore, we assessed the serum-neutralizing ability of mice vaccinated with rVSV-Venus-SADS SΔ11 using a prime-boost immunization strategy, revealing effective neutralizing antibodies against SADS-CoV infection. In conclusion, we have developed a safe and practical tool for studying SADS-CoV entry and exploring the potential of a recombinant VSV-vectored SADS-CoV vaccine.IMPORTANCEZoonotic coronaviruses, like swine acute diarrhea syndrome coronavirus (SADS-CoV), pose a continual threat to human and animal health. To combat this, we engineered a safe and efficient tool by modifying the Vesicular Stomatitis Virus (VSV), creating a replication-competent rVSV-Venus-SADS S virus. Through serial passages, we optimized the virus for enhanced membrane anchoring, a key factor in viral propagation. This modified virus, rVSV-Venus-SADS SΔ11, proved susceptible to neutralization, opening avenues for potential vaccines. Additionally, our study revealed the role of TMPRSS2 in SADS-CoV entry. Mice vaccinated with rVSV-Venus-SADS SΔ11 developed potent neutralizing antibodies against SADS-CoV. In conclusion, our work presents a secure and practical tool for studying SADS-CoV entry and explores the promise of a recombinant VSV-vectored SADS-CoV vaccine.

OBJECTIVE: CiteSpace6.1.R2 is used to analyze the research status of acupuncture in the treatment of cerebral infarction, and to find relevant hot spots and frontiers. METHODS: The researchers searched the Web of Science Core Collection database. The search date is from the establishment of the database to August 31, 2023. The search terms and expressions are: ("Cerebral Infarction" OR "Ischemic stroke") AND ("Acupuncture" OR "fire needle"). The researchers used CiteSpace software to draw a knowledge map to explore the hot spots and frontiers of acupuncture in treating cerebral infarction. RESULTS: We screened 414 articles in the Web of Science Core Collection database. China is the country with the largest number of publications, with a total of 343 papers published. China's institutions cooperate most closely, and cooperation between countries is less and more scattered. The author with the highest number of published articles is Chen L, with a total of 31 published articles. The research focus mainly revolves around the mechanism of acupuncture treatment of cerebral infarction and electroacupuncture treatment of cerebral infarction. Among them, acupuncture treatment of cerebral infarction is the most. CONCLUSION: According to CiteSpace's analysis results, China is at the forefront of this research field, while other countries have less research in this field and little cooperation among countries. At present, the mainstream aspect of research is the mechanism of acupuncture treatment of cerebral infarction electroacupuncture and acupuncture points. Therefore, in future research, we should pay more attention to the treatment of cerebral infarction mechanism of acupuncture, problems with the type of acupuncture used, and acupuncture points.

Lycopene-rich guava (Psidium guajava L.) exhibits significant economic potential as a functional food ingredient, making it highly valuable for the pharmaceutical and agro-food industries. However, there is a need to enhance the extraction methods of lycopene to fully exploit its beneficial uses. In this study, we evaluated various ionic liquids to identify the most effective one for extracting lycopene from guava. Among thirteen ionic liquids with varying carbon chains or anions, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride demonstrated the highest productivity. Subsequently, a single-factor experiment was employed to test the impact of several parameters on the efficiency of lycopene extraction using this selected ionic liquid. These parameters included extraction time, ultrasonic power, liquid-solid ratio, concentration of the ionic liquid, as well as material particle size. Moreover, models of artificial neural networks using genetic algorithms (ANN-GA) and response surface methodology (RSM) were employed to comprehensively assess the first four key parameters. The optimized conditions for ionic liquid ultrasound-assisted extraction (IL-UAE) were determined as follows: 33 min of extraction time, 225 W of ultrasonic power, 22 mL/g of liquid-solid ratio, 3.0 mol/L of IL concentration, and extraction cycles of three. Under these conditions, lycopene production reached an impressive yield of 9.35 ± 0.36 mg/g while offering advantages such as high efficiency, time savings, preservation benefits, and most importantly environmental friendliness.

The human respiratory system is a complex and important system that can suffer a variety of diseases. Single-cell sequencing technologies, applied in many respiratory disease studies, have enhanced our ability in characterizing molecular and phenotypic features at a single-cell resolution. The exponentially increasing data from these studies have consequently led to difficulties in data sharing and analysis. Here, we present scMoresDB, a single-cell multi-omics database platform with extensive omics types tailored for human respiratory diseases. scMoresDB re-analyzes single-cell multi-omics datasets, providing a user-friendly interface with cross-omics search capabilities, interactive visualizations, and analytical tools for comprehensive data sharing and integrative analysis. Our example applications highlight the potential significance of BSG receptor in SARS-CoV-2 infection as well as the involvement of HHIP and TGFB2 in the development and progression of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. scMoresDB significantly increases accessibility and utility of single-cell data relevant to human respiratory system and associated diseases.

Objective.Brain tumor segmentation on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) plays an important role in assisting the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients. Recently, cascaded U-Net models have achieved excellent performance via conducting coarse-to-fine segmentation of MRI brain tumors. However, they are still restricted by obvious global and local differences among various brain tumors, which are difficult to solve with conventional convolutions.Approach.To address the issue, this study proposes a novel Adaptive Cascaded Transformer U-Net (ACTransU-Net) for MRI brain tumor segmentation, which simultaneously integrates Transformer and dynamic convolution into a single cascaded U-Net architecture to adaptively capture global information and local details of brain tumors. ACTransU-Net first cascades two 3D U-Nets into a two-stage network to segment brain tumors from coarse to fine. Subsequently, it integrates omni-dimensional dynamic convolution modules into the second-stage shallow encoder and decoder, thereby enhancing the local detail representation of various brain tumors through dynamically adjusting convolution kernel parameters. Moreover, 3D Swin-Transformer modules are introduced into the second-stage deep encoder and decoder to capture image long-range dependencies, which helps adapt the global representation of brain tumors.Main results.Extensive experiment results evaluated on the public BraTS 2020 and BraTS 2021 brain tumor data sets demonstrate the effectiveness of ACTransU-Net, with average DSC of 84.96% and 91.37%, and HD95 of 10.81 and 7.31 mm, proving competitiveness with the state-of-the-art methods.Significance.The proposed method focuses on adaptively capturing both global information and local details of brain tumors, aiding physicians in their accurate diagnosis. MXenes with excellent conductivity and abundant surface functional groups have displayed great advantages as platforms for sensing materials. NiO also has drawn much attention for gas detection due to its unique merits of excellent catalytic activity. Herein, NiO nanoparticles are incorporated with multilayer Ti3C2Tx-MXene to develop excellent triethylamine sensors. Due to the larger specific surface area and formed p-p heterojunctions, the response of the NiO/Ti3C2Tx gas sensor is endowed with a response value of 950% to 50 ppm triethylamine gas and is much higher than that of the pristine NiO sensor. Moreover, the NiO/Ti3C2Tx sensor displays a fast response time of 8 s (50 ppm triethylamine), excellent reproducibility, and reliable long-term stability. This study proves that NiO/Ti3C2Tx sensors have potential for the effective detection of triethylamine gas.

Developing high-performance chemiresistive gas sensors with mechanical compliance for environmental or health-related biomarker monitoring has recently drawn increasing research attention. Among them, two-dimensional MXene materials hold great potential for room-temperature hazardous gas (e.g., NH3) monitoring regardless of the complicated fabrication process, insufficient 2D/3D flexibilities, and poor environmental sustainability. Herein, a Ti3C2Tx MXene/gelatin ink was developed for patterning electrodes through a facile spray coating. Particularly, the patterned Ti3C2Tx-based coating exhibited good adhesion on the paper substrate against repeated peeling-off and excellent mechanical flexibility against 1000 cyclic stretching. The porous morphology of the coating facilitated the NH3 sensing ability. As a result, the 2D kirigami-shaped NH3 sensor exhibited a good response of 7% to 50 ppm of NH3 with detectable concentrations ranging from 5-500 ppm, decent selectivity over interferences, etc., which could be well-maintained even at 50% stretched state. In addition, with the help of mechanically guided compressive buckling, 3D mesostructured MXene origamis could be obtained, holding promise for detecting the coming direction and height distribution of hazardous gas, e.g., the NH3. More importantly, the as-fabricated MXene/gelatin origami paper could be fully degraded in PBS/H2O2/cellulase solution within 19 days, demonstrating its potential as a high-performance, shape morphable, and environmentally friendly wearable gas sensor.

The bimetallic metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), Cu/Co-MOF, was synthesized through a solvothermal method and calcined to obtain CuO/Co3O4composites. By adjusting the molar ratio between Cu and Co ions, a composite material of CuO/Co3O4(Cu:Co = 1:1) was developed and showed excellent sensing capabilities, and the response reached as high as 196.3 for 10 ppm H2S detection. Furthermore, the optimal operating temperature as low as 40 °C was found. In comparison with the sensors prepared by pristine CuO and pristine Co3O4, the sensor based on CuO/Co3O4composite exhibited a significant response. Additionally, the sensor can detect H2S gas down to 300 ppb. The gas sensing mechanism is discussed in depth from the perspective of p-p heterojunction formation between the p-type CuO and p-type Co3O4. The as-prepared CuO/Co3O4composite-based sensor is expected to find practical application in the low-power monitoring of H2S.

Hashimoto thyroiditis (HT) is an organ-specific autoimmune disease linked to iodine intake. Emerging evidence highlights the gut microbiota's role in HT pathogenesis via the microbiota-gut-thyroid axis. However, the process through which iodine intake modifies the microbiota and triggers HT remains unclear. This study examines how iodine affects gut dysbiosis and HT, recruiting 23 patients with HT and 25 healthy individuals to assess gut microbiota composition and metabolic features. Furthermore, we establish a spontaneously developed thyroiditis mouse model using NOD.H-2h4 mice highlighting the influence of iodine intake on HT progression. The butanoate metabolism significantly differs between these two groups according to the enrichment results, and butyric acid is significantly decreased in patients with HT compared with those in healthy individuals. Gut dysbiosis, driven by excessive iodine intake, disrupts TH17/Treg balance by reducing butyric acid. In summary, iodine intake alters intestinal microbiota composition and metabolic changes influencing the microbiota-gut-thyroid axis.

OBJECTIVE: With the change in drug-resistant pattern, MDR/RR-TB was faced with underlying changes in regimens. A multi-center, large-scale, retrospective study performed aims to provide a recommendation of drug selection on optimization of outcome for the patients. METHOD: The study was conducted in six TB-specialized hospitals in China. Patients were included from 2018-2021 and followed up throughout the treatment. Using a multivarariable and propensity score-matched logistic regression analysis, we evaluated associations between outcomes and drug use, as well as clinical characteritics. RESULTS: Of 3112 patients, 74.29% had treatment sucess, 14.52% lost to follow-up, 9.67% failure, and 1.51% died. Treatment success was positively associated with Bedaquiline(Bdq), Linezolid(Lzd), and Cycloserin(Cs). Capreomycin(Cm) increased the risk of unfavorable outcomes. other drugs such as Amikacin(Amk) and clofazimine had no significant effect on outcomes. If isolates were susceptible to fluoroquinolones(FQs), FQs could decrease the risk of unfavorable outcomes. CONCLUSIONS: The recommendation order for the treatment of MDR/RR-TB is Bdq, Lzd, and Cs. FQs were decreased in use intensity. Injection drugs, whether Amk or Cm, are not recommended.
