RESUMEN

AIM: Study of circulating 02_AG recombinant form HIV-1 isolates that have been rapidly spreading in Novosibirsk region during 3 recent years. MATERIALS AND METHODS: WHO protocol for primary HIV isolation was used, automatic sequencer was used for genetic characterization of isolates. Virus specific RNA were isolated and env HIV-1 region DNA fragments were processed. Phylogenetic analysis was also performed. RESULTS: CRF_02AG HIV-1 isolated from peripheral blood of HIV-1 positive patients belonged to CCR5 tropic viruses and had various reproduction characteristics. Most of the HIV isolated were rapidly replicating virus variants characterized by an ability to accumulate high levels of virus protein p24 in cultural fluid. Infectivity and reproductive properties of HIV isolates were confirmed in experimental infection by using clarified cultural liquid of mononuclear cells from healthy donors. Phylogenetic analysis of CRF02_AG HIV-1 variants isolated in Novosibirsk region in 2007 - 2010 showed the formation of a separate outbreak in the area caused by emergence of CRF02_AG HIV-1 in human population. CONCLUSION: A collection of genetically and biologically characterized CRF02_AG HIV-1 isolates that has not been spreading previously in Russia.

RESUMEN

Main characteristica of polymerised and degraded glycoproteins of the gastrointestinal tract mucus were revealed. The correlation connections were found between antioxidant activity of the polymerised glycoproteins and their contents ofpolypeptides and M-acetylneuramine acid. In the soluble phase of the mucus (the degraded glycoproteins and other components of the mucus layer), the level of antioxidant activity correlated with the contents of hexosamines.

RESUMEN

It has been found that the state of protective functions of the digestive tract change during postnatal period. The biosynthesis and secretion of glycoproteins of mucus layer which is the main protective structure of digestive tract depend on the hormonal background and the nutrition conditions. The biosynthesis stages and secretion glycoproteins result in sexual maturity and in conditions of definitive nutrition. Opposite to that, the antiradical activity of adherent mucous layer decreases with age. The allocation of the studied components of adherent mucous layer in the stomach and in the intestine is determined.

RESUMEN

In model experiments on mice the influence of prolonged dietary consumption of zeolites on a survival rate, an average lifetime and a status of adherent mucous layer of a digestive tube was investigated. It was found that zeolite increased a survival rate and average lifetime in 55- and 95-day old mice exposed to a dose of 4 Gy. Zeolite shivirtuin caused more expressed effect, than pegasin. Apparently, shivirtuin causes the more expressed radioprotective effect, because it does not hinder in the development of compensatory responses in a structurally functional status of adherent mucous layer of an intestine after the exposure.

RESUMEN

In result of forming the Pavlov small gaster, secretion of pepsine in isolated part and, probable, in other parts of the gaster, was increased. This entailed a decrease in the pepsin sorption level on the luminal surface of adherent mucous layer of the gaster parts and intestine under study. This led to a drop of the level of structure glycoproteins and to increase in the per cent contents of polymeric glycoproteins in the whole pool of the mucous layer glycoproteins. The data obtained suggest that forming of the Pavlov small gaster indices significant changes of the adherent mucous layer structure-functional condition both in the gaster and in lower parts of the intestine.

RESUMEN

The balance between secretion and degradation of the mucosa glycoproteins in the dog intestine is preserved with the aid of local reflexes in both serous-muscular and mucous-submucous layers of the wall. Irrespective of major alterations in the glycoproteins synthesis in the mucosa, protective properties of the submucous layer are maintained owing to a high content of acetylneuraminic acid and low level of mucous glycoproteins degradation.

RESUMEN

It was studied the condition of mucous layer of intestine in mice model experiments after ionizing radiation. It were found out the differences in reaction of intestine on radiation in mice at the age of 55 and 95 days. In mice at the age of 55 days at the whole stretch of intestine was marked increased secretion of the polymeric glycoproteins, whereas in mice at the age of 95 days such alterations were marked at smaller degree. In both groups mice was marked increased secretion of bicarbonate after radiation, that is possible to count as characteristic compensative mechanism.

RESUMEN

3 mcg/kg PGE2 did not affect secretion of gastric juice, H+, pepsin and biochemical structure of secreted glycoproteins in dogs. However, a decrease in the quantity of degraded glycoproteins entailed an increase in polymeric glycoproteins in the general pool of glycoproteins of the mucous layer which contributed to formation of a more solid and viscous mucous gel.

RESUMEN

The results of testing 501 specimens of pathological materials containing enterobacteria from 382 patients with various purulent inflammatory diseases treated at the Tashkent Branch of the Research Centre of Surgery in 1989-1991 were analyzed. The findings showed that Enterobacter spp., Escherichia spp. and Proteus spp. played the main role in the etiology of the surgical infections (46.9, 19.4 and 16.2 per cent respectively). Some enterobacteria were tested for their susceptibility to antimicrobial drugs. Enterobacteria resistant to penicillins (81.8-89.9 per cent), aminoglycosides (55.4-75 per cent), tetracyclines (57.1-73.2 per cent), clindamycin (95.7 per cent), rifampicin (87.5 per cent), polymyxin (92.9 per cent) and biseptol (74.6 per cent) were especially frequent. The study showed that claforan, a 3rd generation cephalosporin, and dioxidin were the most active agents despite the species: the number of the isolates resistant to them amounted to 17.9 and 34.7 per cent respectively.

RESUMEN

Radioprotective efficacy of differently composed amino acid mixtures (e. g. swine brain hydrolyzate, mixtures of several crystalline amino acids, etc.) was estimated. The survival rate and average life of exposed animals increased after the administration of amino acid preparations. The most pronounced effect was produced by the mixtures composed of several crystalline amino acids.

RESUMEN

The influence of a mixture of amino acids, with a branched chain, on the protein-nitrogen metabolism in irradiated animals was investigated. Repeated intraperitoneal administrations of the drug was shown to reduce the severity of radiation affection and to normalize nitrogen metabolism decreasing the postirradiation nitrogen losses by the organism.

RESUMEN

The administration to rats of amino acids (valine, leucine, and isoleucine) for 10 days after whole-body X-irradiation with a dose of 7 Gy increased the survival rate and average life of animals and normalized some carbohydrate and nitrogen metabolism indexes. The insulin-like effect of these amino acids on glucose absorption by phrenic muscles of the exposed rats was detected.

RESUMEN

Liver of X-ray irradiated rats /a dose of 18.06.10(-2) Ci per kg of body mass/, deprived of the body homeostatic influences, exhibited increased functional activity within the first day after irradiation: intensity of transamination was increased in mitochondria and supernatant as well as output of glucose and urea was elevated. Sensitivity to substrate stimulation of transamination and gluconeogenesis reactions was decreased in the liver within 3 days after irradiation.
