RESUMEN

A power amplifier (PA) stands as a central module within the electronic information system (EIS), and any variation in a PA's specifications has a direct impact on the EIS's performance, especially in the face of temperature fluctuations. In examining the influence of PA specification changes on the EIS, we employed support vector machine (SVM) to model the behavior of the temperature characteristics of 0.3-1.1 GHz complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) class-A broadband PAs. The results show that the parameters of S11, S12, S21, and S22 can be effectively modeled. SVM outperforms Elman and GRNN in terms of combined modeling time and modeling accuracy. This research can be extended to modeling the behavior of other types of power amplifiers or devices and circuits.

RESUMEN

In the process of China's modernization, promoting the sustainable development of resource-based cities is a major strategic issue and it has now also become a worldwide issue. This study uses the coupling model to validate the coupling relationship between China's land-use net carbon flux and economic growth and population change during 2009-2017. The study for the first time draws the conclusion that the coupling degree among the three is getting lower, the correlation is gradually weaker, and the independent relationship is becoming more and more prominent. Utilizing the Tapio decoupling model, we obtained the weak decoupling conclusion that the economic growth rate is higher than the growth rate of the land-use net carbon flux, while negative decoupling of sprawl is where the rate of population growth is less than the rate of net land-use carbon flux growth.

RESUMEN

Due to the importance of understanding the relationship between agricultural growth and environmental quality, we analyzed how high-quality agricultural development can affect carbon emissions in Northwest China. Based on the concept of the environmental Kuznets curve, this study uses provincial panel data from 1993 to 2017 to make empirical analyses inflection point changes and spatio-temporal differences in agricultural carbon emissions. The highlights of our findings are as follows: (1) In Northwest China, there is an inverse N-shape curve, and the critical values are 3578 yuan/hm2 and 45,738 yuan/hm2, respectively. (2) For 2017, the agricultural economic intensity was 50,670 yuan/hm2, exceeding the critical value (high inflection point) of 45,738 yuan/hm2. (3) Ningxia, Gansu, and Qinghai have not reached the turning point. Having comparable climate, natural conditions, and overall environmental factors, these three provinces would reach the turning point at similar time periods. (4) The average value in agricultural carbon emission intensity in the region is 767.79 kg/hm2, and the order based on intensity is Xinjiang > Shaanxi > Ningxia > Gansu > Qinghai.

RESUMEN

Osteonecrosis of the femoral head is a severely disabling complication of steroid immunosuppression in renal transplant patients. The increased number of patients undergoing transplantation has increased the number of transplant recipients undergoing total hip replacement arthroplasty (THRA). In this study, we retrospectively assessed patients who underwent THRA from May 2004 to February 2014, and evaluated their demographic and clinical characteristics, the results of peri-operative laboratory tests, the amounts of fluids transfused during surgery, and anesthesia time. Our results found that post-operative acute kidney injury (AKI) was significantly associated with transplantation, and transplantation was an independent factor predictive of post-operative AKI, so transplant recipients are at risk for AKI following THRA. Total hip replacement is a safe and effective treatment for transplant recipients and, in view of their limited life expectancy, should be considered at an early stage in their treatment.
