RESUMEN

Cytostatic activity of baicalin, baicalein, and neogalenical drug Chlorophyllipt was studied in vitro on HeLa-v cells. Standard samples of Eucalimin, baicalin, and baicalein, as well as Chlorophyllipt and paclitaxel (reference drug Taxacad) were used. The cell deaths were determined by MTT assay in a Multiskan FC microplate reader with incubator. The effective inhibition concentration (IC50) of the tested substances were: paclitaxel (4.0±0.4 µM)-baicalein (10.5±1.1 µM)-baicalin (16.5±1.7 µM)-sum of euglobals in Chlorophyllipt (24.1±2.5 µM). Chlorophyllipt was found to exhibit cytostatic activity. Cytostatic activity of baicalein, baicalin, and Chlorophyllipt was lower than cytostatic activity of the reference drug by 2.6, 4.1, and 6 times, respectively. The prospects of further evaluation of the synergetic effect of baicalin, baicalein, and chlorophyllipt used in combinations with different cytostatic agents for finding the most effective combination have been shown.

RESUMEN

The experiments on rats with model traumatic disease showed that melatonin administration produces a dose-dependent positive effect, decreasing the degree and duration of disturbances in platelet hemostasis.

RESUMEN

Pineal gland phylogenic antiquity, its involvement in the stress reaction and many-sided activity of its compounds permit to consider the gland to be the organ taking an active part in the body protection against injury, which is essential for everyone since its appearance on the planet. The available data prove that almost all the reactions developing in the organism from the moment of trauma up to the complete wound reparation are under the pineal control. Being always an urgent one the problem of traumatism increased nowadays because of pineal dysfunction. It makes the premises to apply pineal secret products in traumatic disease as a kind of replace therapy that is suggested to be not less successful than glucocorticoid administration in shock.

RESUMEN

A closed mathematical model of population dynamics for an arbitrary mutant type was developed based on results obtained previously. The model considers the number of individuals with different genotypes, their random and constrained movements across the range, mechanisms of selection and Death-reproduction, and different conditions of the process at range boundaries. The influence of mechanisms of selection and Death-reproduction on integral parameters of the studied process was analyzed.

RESUMEN

A mathematical method for modelling SA frequency dynamics tendencies, depending on age, for different fixation moments and in general for the whole interval of observation is suggested. The criteria of remainder dispersion attitude is used for choosing an optimal model. The initial hypothesis about discrepancies distribution law is used for checking adequateness of the optimal model to the research process. In addition, aposteriory trust intervals are built for the initial and forecast SA frequency values and the hit into them corresponding the experimental values of SA frequencies is controlled. An example of practical realization of the model proposed is considered and the results obtained analysed.

RESUMEN

Different versions of the stochastic expansion of the continuous determined linear model proposed formerly for evaluation of the ratio of cells having passed the different number of divisions in the culture were worked out and theoretically based. The influence of approximation precision of the continuous model by its discrete analogues on the adequacy of the process under study was examined. The problem of simultaneous identification of unknown parameters and the model's primary conditions was solved. The proposed methods for construction of the stochastic models for evaluation of the ratio of cells having passed the different number of divisions in the culture make it possible not only to determine analytically the correlation of metaphases of the first, second, third and following divisions at definite times of fixation and under different conditions, but also to evaluate reliability of the results obtained.
