RESUMEN

Epithelioid glioblastoma (Ep-GBM) is a rare variant of glioblastoma characterized by a high recurrence rate and poor prognosis. Currently, there is no established standard treatment for Ep-GBM. Therefore, we identified 58 Ep-GBM cases to investigate these characteristics and identify the possible prognostic factors of survival. There were 30 male and 28 female patients with a median age of 39 years. Headaches and dizziness were the most common clinical symptom. The tumor is most frequently located in the temporal lobe (36.2%). The positivity rate for BRAF-V600E is 56.9% (33/58), for MGMT is 56.9% (33/58), and for INI-1 is 75% (30/40). Tumor recurrence was observed in 39 patients. The median progression-free survival (PFS) of all patients was 12.7 months, while the median overall survival (OS) was 29.1 months. Additionally, the median survival time after recurrence was 14.3 months. Both univariate and multivariate COX regression analyses revealed that individuals who received more than six cycles of adjuvant oral temozolomide experienced a longer median PFS compared to those who received fewer cycles. Characteristics associated with poorer PFS included tumor dissemination prior to initial surgery. Additionally, both analyses identified tumor dissemination, radiotherapy and adjuvant oral temozolomide as predictors of OS. Notably, for patients with recurrent Ep-GBM, reoperation was shown to significantly increase survival time after recurrence. In conclusion, the standard Stupp regimen is also applicable to patients with Ep-GBM, extending adjuvant oral temozolomide could further improve survival for Ep-GBM patients, reoperation may also prolong survival for recurrent Ep-GBM.

Pueraria is a time-honored food and medicinal plant, which is widely used in China. Puerarin, the main component extracted from pueraria, has a variety of pharmacological characteristics. In recent years, puerarin has received increasing attention for its significant hepatoprotective effects, such as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, alcohol-related liver disease, and hepatic carcinoma. This paper explores the pharmacological effects of puerarin on various liver diseases through multiple mechanisms, including inflammation factors, oxidative stress, lipid metabolism, apoptosis, and autophagy. Due to its restricted solubility, pharmacokinetic studies revealed that puerarin has a low bioavailability. However, combining puerarin with novel drug delivery systems can improve its bioavailability. Meanwhile, puerarin has very low toxicity and high safety, providing a solid foundation for its further. In addition, this paper discusses puerarin's clinical trials, highlighting its unique advantages. Given its excellent pharmacological effects, puerarin is expected to be a potential drug for the treatment of various liver diseases.

The Hippo-yes-associated protein (YAP) signaling pathway plays a crucial role in cell proliferation, differentiation, and death. It is known to have impact on the progression and development of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) as well as in the regeneration of cardiomyocytes (CMs). However, further research is needed to understand the molecular mechanisms by which the Hippo-YAP pathway affects the pathological processes of CVDs in order to evaluate its potential clinical applications. In this review, we have summarized the recent findings on the role of the Hippo-YAP pathway in CVDs such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, and cardiomyopathy, as well as its in CM development. This review calls attention to the potential roles of the Hippo-YAP pathway as a relevant target for the future treatment of CVDs.

Background: There is a strong causal relationship between intimate partner violence and major depressive disorder, which partly endangers women's safety across the life course and potentially affects the development of future generations. The international community has placed a high priority on addressing the intimate partner violence and the resulting burden of mental illness. Data collection needs to be captured across the temporal trend and spatial distribution for major depressive disorder attributed to intimate partner violence, to reflect the priorities and expectations of survivors.Method: This research obtained raw disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) information for major depressive disorder attributed to intimate partner violence from the Global Burden of Disease 2019. Using estimated annual percentage change and two-way fixed effects models, a secondary spatio-temporal analysis of the age-standardized DALYs rate from 1990 to 2019 was performed.Results: In 2019, DALYs lost among women experiencing major depressive disorder (3.16 million) accounted for 37.18% of the DALYs lost worldwide due to intimate partner violence. The age-standardized DALYs rate of major depressive disorder attributed to intimate partner violence was 108.57 per 100,000. The highest was concentrated in the menopausal transition (45-55), with 133.61 per 100,000, and particularly distributed in Uganda (429.31 per 100,000). The early reproductive period (15-19) showed the increasing age-standardized DALYs rate from 1990 to 2019, which was mainly driven by Malaysia (3.73% per year). Furthermore, countries with higher initial levels of the age-standardized DALYs rate were growing faster than those with lower levels.Conclusions: The burden of major depressive disorder attributed to intimate partner violence showed biological and spatial inequality, prioritized intervention should be targeted at vulnerable stage women in their early reproductive period and menopausal transition. Combined political, socio-cultural as well as medical measures to prevent violence and treat major depressive disorder should be implemented and developed.

Women in their reproductive years and during the menopausal transition were more vulnerable.Intimate partner violence-induced depressive disorder is trending younger, with an increasing burden on girls aged 15­19 over the past 30 years.The burden of major depressive disorder attributed to intimate partner violence varies increasingly across countries.

Six undescribed compounds (1-6) and twenty-three known analogues (7-29) were isolated from the fresh roots of Rehmannia glutinosa. The structures of the compounds (1-29) were established through the application of spectroscopic analysis. Compounds 3, 4, 6, 8, 13, 18, 21, 22, 25, and 28 exhibited excellent anti-pulmonary fibrosis activity. The potential mechanistic pathway of 3 was also investigated, whose results indicate that compound 3 ameliorate TGF-ß1 induced BEAS-2B cell injury via PI3K/AKT/NF-κB signaling pathway.

PURPOSE: This study aimed to determine the current turnover intention among workers at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCs) in Northeast China and to investigate the factors contributing to this phenomenon. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The cross-sectional study was conducted in May 2023 across four northeastern provinces of China. The study included a total of 11,912 valid participants who were CDC workers selected using a stratified cluster sampling method. The study assessed demographics, turnover intention, work resources, work perceptions, and psychological support through online questionnaires. The binary logistic regression analysis identified the factors associated with turnover intention for CDC workers, while the Interpretative Structural Modelling (ISM) revealed the hierarchical relationship between the influencing factors. RESULTS: The study found that 28.8% of the respondents reported high turnover intention. The binary logistic regression suggested that the risk factors of turnover intention among employees included gender, age, education, and several work-related, organizational, and psychological factors. The work-related factors were daily working hours, job burnout, and role overload. The organizational factor was unit support for training, unit's infrastructure conditions, leadership style, remuneration package and performance appraisal and promotion system. The psychological support factors were family support, professional identity, and organizational commitment. The ISM analysis results showed that the primary factors influencing CDC workers' intention to leave were internally connected and grouped into four categories according to their level of impact: surface, transition, deep, and essential factors. Notably, the essential factors were professional identity and organizational commitment. CONCLUSION: Nearly one-third of the respondents expressed a strong desire to resign from their employment. Turnover intention among CDC workers was subject to diverse influences. Early identification, detection, and targeted multidisciplinary interventions should be introduced to address the array of factors that affect staff, with particular emphasis on boosting the professional identity and organizational commitment of CDC workers.

Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome (VKHS) is a common type of uveitis characterized by the invasion of melanocyte-rich tissues. In recent years, the incidence of VKHS has been increasing yearly, and its specific pathogenesis has not yet been elucidated. However, its pathogenesis has been a hot topic of research. The clinical course of VKHS is characterized by the early involvement of the posterior segment of the eye, including exudative retinal detachment, optic papillitis, bilateral diffuse chorioretinitis, etc. If treated improperly or with delayed treatment, the inflammation may gradually spread to the anterior segment of the eye, leading to vision loss or even vision. This study examines the pathogenesis of VKHS. It reviews the progress of research on the pathogenesis of VKHS, which will help to improve the understanding of VKHS and provide a reference for subsequent studies.

Tartaric acid is one of the characteristic acids in wine, playing a crucial role in wine characteristics. However, superabundant tartaric acid will form insoluble salts and precipitate in the form of crystals, affecting consumers' purchasing appetite. Therefore, tartaric stability is also one of the important indices for controlling the wine quality. At present, the main processing methods for tartaric stability include cold stabilization, ion exchange treatment, electrodialysis and the addition of exogenous components (gum arabic, metatartaric acid, carboxymethyl cellulose, mannoprotein and potassium polyaspartate). This review summarizes and analyzes the origin of tartaric acid in wine, factors influencing the tartaric stability, detection methods, treatments for tartaric stabilization, and the effects of these methods on the sensory quality of wine. Comparing the effects of these methods on wine quality can provide a basis for the further study of tartaric stabilization methods in order to select an appropriate tartaric stabilization method.

In order to explore the formation mechanism and influencing factors of the temperature difference between two ends of the plate stack, an expression of the temperature change of the stack with time was established based on the two-dimensional heat conduction equation. Based on this, the finite element model of heat transfer between a single thermoacoustic plate stack and the gas above it is established in Ansys, and the temperature of the plate stack is solved. When the sound field is constant, the variation law of the temperature of the stack with the working time and space is obtained, and the formation mechanism of the temperature difference between the two ends of the plate stack is revealed. From the calculation results, it is found that the net heat transfer between the gas and the plate stack is mainly reflected in the two ends of the plate stack, and the contribution of the air mass in the middle part is mainly the relay heat transfer. In the process of working, part of the sound work is converted into the internal energy of the air mass, which makes the gas temperature on the surface of the plate rise as a whole. The working frequency, stack length and stack thermal conductivity are taken as the influencing factors. When no load is added, the variation of the temperature of the high and low end of the stack with the working time under different working conditions is analyzed. And the theory of series between short plates is put forward to explain the formation mechanism of large temperature difference between the two ends of the plates. In order to further reduce the cooling temperature of thermoacoustic refrigerator, a new research method and exploration direction are proposed.

INTRODUCTION: Anemia may contribute significantly to the onset of Parkinson's disease (PD). Current research on the association between anemia and PD risk is inconclusive, and the relationships between anemia-related blood cell indices and PD incidence require further clarification. This study aims to investigate the relationships between anemia, blood cell indicators, and PD risk using a thorough prospective cohort study. METHODS: We used data from the UK Biobank, a prospective cohort study of 502,649 participants, and ultimately, 365,982 participants were included in the analysis. Cox proportional hazards models were utilized to adjust for confounding factors, aiming to thoroughly explore the associations between anemia and blood cell indices with the risk of incident PD. The interaction between anemia and Polygenic Risk Score (PRS) for PD was also examined. Linear regression and mediation analyses assessed potential mechanisms driven by brain structures, including grey matter volume. RESULTS: During a median follow-up of 14.24 years, 2513 participants were diagnosed with PD. Anemia considerably increased PD risk (hazard ratio [HR] 1.98, 95 % confidence interval [CI]: 1.81-2.18, P < 0.001) after adjustments. Those with high PRS for anemia had an 83 % higher PD incidence compared to low PRS participants. Sensitivity analyses confirmed result robustness. Linear regression showed that anemia correlated with grey matter volumes and most white matter tracts. Furthermore, mediation analyses identified that the volume of grey matter in Thalamus mediates the relationship between anemia and PD risk. CONCLUSION: In summary, we consider there to be a substantial correlation between anemia and increased PD risk.

BACKGROUND: It remains unclear which early gestational biomarkers can be used in predicting later development of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). We sought to identify the optimal combination of early gestational biomarkers in predicting GDM in machine learning (ML) models. METHODS: This was a nested case-control study including 100 pairs of GDM and euglycemic (control) pregnancies in the Early Life Plan cohort in Shanghai, China. High sensitivity C reactive protein, sex hormone binding globulin, insulin-like growth factor I, IGF binding protein 2 (IGFBP-2), total and high molecular weight adiponectin and glycosylated fibronectin concentrations were measured in serum samples at 11-14 weeks of gestation. Routine first-trimester blood test biomarkers included fasting plasma glucose (FPG), serum lipids and thyroid hormones. Five ML models [stepwise logistic regression, least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO), random forest, support vector machine and k-nearest neighbor] were employed to predict GDM. The study subjects were randomly split into two sets for model development (training set, n = 70 GDM/control pairs) and validation (testing set: n = 30 GDM/control pairs). Model performance was evaluated by the area under the curve (AUC) in receiver operating characteristics. RESULTS: FPG and IGFBP-2 were consistently selected as predictors of GDM in all ML models. The random forest model including FPG and IGFBP-2 performed the best (AUC 0.80, accuracy 0.72, sensitivity 0.87, specificity 0.57). Adding more predictors did not improve the discriminant power. CONCLUSION: The combination of FPG and IGFBP-2 at early gestation (11-14 weeks) could predict later development of GDM with moderate discriminant power. Further validation studies are warranted to assess the utility of this simple combination model in other independent cohorts.

The study investigated the protective effect and mechanism of 2-phenylethyl-beta-glucopyranoside(Phe) from Huaizhong No.1 Rehmannia glutinosa on hypoxic pulmonary hypertension(PH), aiming to provide a theoretical basis for clinical treatment of PAH. Male C57BL/6N mice were randomly divided into normal group, model group, positive drug(bosentan, 100 mg·kg~(-1)) group, and low-and high-dose Phe groups(20 and 40 mg·kg~(-1)). Except for the normal group, all other groups were continuously subjected to model induction in a 10% hypoxic environment for 5 weeks, with oral administration for 14 days starting from the 3rd week. The cardiopulmonary function, right ventricular pressure, cough and asthma index, lung injury, cell apoptosis, oxidative stress-related indicators, immune cells, and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)/protein kinase B(Akt)/mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)/hypoxic inducible factor 1α(HIF-1α) pathway-related proteins or mRNA levels were examined. Furthermore, hypoxia-induced pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cell(PASMC) were used to further explore the mechanism of Phe intervention in PH combined with PI3K ago-nist(740Y-P). The results showed that Phe significantly improved the cardiopulmonary function of mice with PH, decreased right ventricular pressure, cough and asthma index, and lung injury, reduced cell apoptosis, oxidative stress-related indicators, and nuclear levels of phosphorylated Akt(p-Akt) and phosphorylated mTOR(p-mTOR), inhibited the expression levels of HIF-1α and PI3K mRNA and proteins, and maintained the immune cell homeostasis in mice. Further mechanistic studies revealed that Phe significantly reduced the viability and migration ability of hypoxia-induced PASMC, decreased the expression of HIF-1α and PI3K proteins and nuc-lear levels of p-Akt and p-mTOR, and this effect was blocked by 740Y-P. Therefore, it is inferred that Phe may exert anti-PH effects by alleviating the imbalance of oxidative stress and apoptosis in lung tissues and regulating immune levels, and its mechanism may be related to the regulation of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR/HIF-1α pathway. This study is expected to provide drug references and research ideas for the treatment of PH.

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a chronic progressive vascular disease characterized by abnormal pulmonary vascular resistance and pulmonary artery pressure. The major structural alteration during PH is pulmonary vascular remodelling, which is mainly caused by the imbalance between proliferation and apoptosis of pulmonary vascular cells. Previously, it was thought that apoptosis was the only type of programmed cell death (PCD). Soon afterward, other types of PCD have been identified, including autophagy, pyroptosis, ferroptosis and necroptosis. In this review, we summarize the role of the above five forms of PCD in mediating pulmonary vascular remodelling, and discuss their guiding significance for PH treatment. The current review could provide a better understanding of the correlation between PCD and pulmonary vascular remodelling, contributing to identify new PCD-associated drug targets for PH.

Human activities and climate change impact ecosystem services, thereby affecting economic and social sustainable development. Measuring the heterogeneity in space and time of how human activities affect ecosystem services poses a challenge for the sustainable management of land resources. Based on "human appropriation of net primary production (HANPP) - Fractional Vegetation Cover (FVC) - Soil Conservation Service (SCS)" cascading effect, first, a geographically and temporally weighted regression (GTWR) model was employed to assess the impact of HANPP in percent of potential NPP (hereafter HANPP%) on the FVC; second, changes in the FVC caused by human activities were quantified; and third, the potential soil conservation service (SCSp) and actual soil conservation service (SCSa) were estimated using the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) model, and the difference between them represented the changes in soil conservation service caused by human activities (SCSh). Taking the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau as a case study, we found that the GTWR model was well suited for analyzing the relationship between the HANPP% and the FVC (R2 = 0.897). The HANPP resulted in a decrease in the FVC from 0.222 in 2001 to 0.199 in 2019 and correspondingly resulted in a decrease in the ratio of SCSh to SCSp from 8.95% to 7.24%. This study provides a quantitative method that allows quantifying the influence of human activity on ecosystem services closely related to the FVC.

Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury (MIRI) is an injury to cardiomyocytes due to restoration of blood flow after myocardial infarction (MI). It has recently gained much attention in clinical research with special emphasis on the roles of mitochondrial autophagy and inflammation. A mild inflammatory response promotes recovery of post-ischemic cardiomyocyte function and vascular regeneration, but a severe inflammatory response can cause irreversible and substantial cellular damage. Similarly, moderate mitochondrial autophagy can help inhibit excessive inflammation and protect cardiomyocytes. However, MIRI is aggravated when mitochondrial function is disrupted, such as inadequate clearance of damaged mitochondria or excessive activation of mitophagy. How to moderately control mitochondrial autophagy while promoting its balance with nucleotide-binding oligomerization structural domain receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome activation is critical. In this paper, we reviewed the molecular mechanisms of mitochondrial autophagy and NLRP3 inflammasome, described the interaction between NLRP3 inflammasome and mitochondrial autophagy, and the effects of different signaling pathways and molecular proteins on MIRI, to provide a reference for future research.

Herbivorous insects harbor a variety of insect-specific viruses (ISVs) some of which are considered to be valuable biological agents for potential applications in biological defense and control strategies. Leaf beetles with chewing mouthparts are particularly known for their capacity to disrupt plant tissue while feeding, often creating openings that can act as entry points for plant pathogens. In this study, we have identified two new negative-sense RNA viruses infecting the leaf beetle Aulacophora indica, an important member of the Chrysomelidae family. These recently discovered viruses belong to the viral families Nyamiviridae and Chuviridae and have been preliminarily named Aulacophora indica nyami-like virus 1 (AINlV1) and Aulacophora indica chu-like virus 1 (AIClV1), respectively. The complete genomic sequences of these viruses were obtained using rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE) techniques. Detailed analysis of their genomic structures has confirmed their similarity to other members within their respective families. Furthermore, analysis of virus-derived small interfering RNA (vsiRNA) demonstrated a high abundance and typical vsiRNA pattern of AINlV1 and AIClV1, offering substantial evidence to support their classification as ISVs. This research enhances our understanding of viral diversity within insects.

OBJECTIVES: To investigate the application of the three-compartment restriction spectrum imaging (RSI) model, diffusion kurtosis imaging (DKI), and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) in predicting Ki-67 status in rectal carcinoma. METHODS: A total of 80 rectal carcinoma patients, including 47 high-proliferation (Ki-67 > 50%) cases and 33 low-proliferation (Ki-67 ≤ 50%) cases, underwent pelvic MRI were enrolled. Parameters derived from RSI (f1, f2, and f3), DKI (MD and MK), and DWI (ADC) were calculated and compared between the two groups. Logistic regression (LR) analysis was conducted to identify independent predictors and assess combined diagnosis. Area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), DeLong analysis, and calibration curve analyses were performed to evaluate diagnostic performance. RESULTS: The patients with high-proliferation rectal carcinoma exhibited significantly higher f1 and MK values and significantly lower ADC, MD, f2, and f3 values than those with low-proliferation rectal carcinoma (P < 0.05). LR analysis showed that MD, MK, and f2 were independent predictors for Ki-67 status in rectal carcinoma. Moreover, the combination of these three parameters achieved an optimal diagnostic efficacy (AUC = 0.877, sensitivity = 80.85%, specificity = 84.85%) that was significantly better than that obtained using ADC (AUC = 0.783, Z = 2.347, P = 0.019), f2 (AUC = 0.732, Z = 2.762, P = 0.006), and f3 (AUC = 0.700, Z = 3.071, P = 0.002). The combined diagnosis also showed good performance (AUC = 0.859) in the internal validation analysis based on 1000 bootstrap samples, while the calibration curve demonstrated that the combined diagnosis provided good stability. CONCLUSION: RSI, DKI, and DWI can effectively differentiate between patients with high- and low-proliferation rectal carcinoma. Furthermore, the MD, MK, and f2 imaging parameters may be a novel and promising combination biomarker for examining Ki-67 status in rectal carcinoma.

The intervention effect of astragaloside Ⅳ(AS-Ⅳ) on atherosclerosis in apolipoprotein E gene knockout(ApoE)~(-/-) mice was observed based on the nuclear factor erythroid-2-related factor 2(Nrf2)/heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)/glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4) signaling pathway to explore the potential mechanism of AS-Ⅳ in improving ferroptosis in atherosclerotic mice. This study established an atherosclerosis mouse model by feeding them a high-fat diet. After modeling for 8 weeks, ApoE~(-/-) mice were randomly divided into the model group, AS-Ⅳ group, AS-Ⅳ+Nrf2 inhibitor(ML385) group, and ferrostatin-1(Fer-1) group. Additionally, a blank control group was also established. Corresponding drugs were administered via intraperitoneal injection, with the control group receiving an equivalent amount of normal saline injection as the model group. After the experiment, serum biochemical levels were measured using an automatic blood lipid analyzer, hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining was used to observe morphological changes in aortic sinus tissues, colorimetric methods were used to detect levels of ferrous ion(Fe~(2+)), malondialdehyde(MDA), glutathione(GSH), and superoxide dismutase(SOD) in mouse serum, immunofluorescence was used to observe the expressions of ferritin heavy chain 1(FTH1) and ferritin light chain(FTL) proteins in the aortic sinus of mice, Western blot was used to detect the protein levels of Nrf2, HO-1, and GPX4 in mouse aortic tissues, and transmission electron microscopy was used to observe ultrastructural changes in aortic tissues. RESULTS:: showed that compared to the control group, the model group of mice had significantly increased calcification and plaque deposition areas in the aortic sinus, increased mitochondrial membrane density, decreased or disappeared mitochondrial cristae, elevated levels of total cholesterol(TC), triglycerides(TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), Fe~(2+), and MDA, decreased levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C), SOD, and GSH, and significant inhibition of Nrf2, HO-1, GPX4 proteins, as well as iron storage proteins FTH1 and FTL expressions in the aorta. Compared to the model group, AS-Ⅳ treatment resulted in decreased serum TC, TG, LDL-C, Fe~(2+), and MDA levels, increased HDL-C, SOD, and GSH levels, increased expressions of Nrf2, HO-1, and GPX4 proteins, and iron storage proteins FTH1 and FTL, and significant improvement in aortic tissue morphology. Compared to the AS-Ⅳ group, the Nrf2 inhibitor ML385 could reverse the therapeutic effect of AS-Ⅳ on atherosclerosis mice. These findings suggest that AS-Ⅳ can inhibit ferroptosis and improve atherosclerosis in ApoE~(-/-) mice, and its mechanism of action may be related to the regulation of the Nrf2/HO-1/GPX4 signaling pathway.

Fish are crucial for the fishing industry and essential nutrient provision, including lipids. This study employed a high-throughput lipidomic approach to evaluate and contrast the lipid profiles of three marine fish species (P. crocea, S. fuscens, and C. saira) and one freshwater species (H. molitrix) across head, muscle, and viscera. Over 1000 molecular lipid species across 17 subclasses were identified. Notably, acylated monogalactosyldiacylglycerol (acMGDG) was detected for the first time in these species, with a high prevalence of saturated fatty acids (44.7 %-87.7 %). Glycerolipids (67.7 - 86.3 %) and PLs (10.7 - 31.8 %) were identified as the dominant lipid classes. Marine fish muscles displayed higher PL content than freshwater species, and P. crocea viscera contained over 30 % PLs of total lipids. In particular, ether phosphatidyl ethanolamine incorporated more DHA than ether phosphatidylcholine. The viscera of four fish species also exhibited a significant abundance of diacylglycerol (DG), indicating their potential as functional lipid sources. Multivariate analysis identified triglyceride (TG) (59:13), DG (16:1/22:5), and MGDG (16:0/18:2) as potential biomarkers for differentiating among fish anatomical parts. This study deepens the understanding of the nutritional values of these fish, providing guidance for consumer dietary choices and paving the way for transforming previously underutilized by-products into resources with high-value potential.
