RESUMEN

It is shown that new hypotheses concerning the mechanism of low-intensity mm-wave radiation effect on plasma and thrombosis haemocoagulation and fibrinolitic system. It is supposed that plasma and thrombosis factors in the area of irradiation can be primary receptor that transfer external radiation onto primary physiological targets.

RESUMEN

Under the action of hexachlorcyclogexan in concentration not exceeding the pesticides residues in food staffs the prominent adaptive mechanisms stress of gematoalveolar barier is seen. However, the adaptation has the extensive character and is caused by increase of alveolar monocytes in broncho-alveolar lavage. The phagocytosis functional reservers exceed the control values, but phagocytes activity and phagocytory index remain decreased and reach norms just after the xenobiotic abolition.

RESUMEN

The work was conducted on Wistar rats who had received orally the xenobiotic hexachlorocyclohexane (HClCH) in different doses. The sizes of the alveolar macrophages and type II pneumocytes as well as the parameters of macrophage phagocytosis were studies. Administration of HClCH in subtoxic doses not exceeding the pesticide residues in the food in the first two months stimulated synthesis of the surfactant and its phagocytosis by the alveolar macrophages; further administration of the primer led to exhaustion of the cell function. A toxic HClCH dose induced synchronous stimulation of the functional interaction of the alveolar macrophages and type II pneumocytes by the end of the second month. Synthesis of the surfactant and its phagocytosis were stabilized in the period of the after-effect of the drug.

RESUMEN

The levels of succinate dehydrogenase (SDG), lactate dehydrogenase (LDG), glucose-6-phosphate-dehydrogenase (G-6-PDG), myeloperoxydase (MPO), glycogen and cationic proteins were determined in the neutrophilic granulocytes of peripheral blood of 79 rabbits after experimental contamination by endotoxin of S. typhi. The bactericidal system of neutrophils was stimulated due to the depression of SDG, activation of LDG and G-6-PDG levels. Administration of indometacinum and chlotasolum blockaded the cyclooxygenase fermentative system of prostaglandin synthesis and thus decreased the activity of S. typhi endotoxin.

RESUMEN

In 62 dogs, presenting a model of the renal autotransplantation into the pelvis on the iliac vessels, a comparative estimation of morpho-functional state of the transplanted organ has been performed at a spontaneous (control) and surgical (experiment) restoration of the lymphatic outflow pathways during the postoperative period from 1 day up to 6 years. Three periods of morpho-functional restoration of the transplant renal tissue have been revealed: I (period of decreased functional activity) lasts in the control from 1 up to 14 days, in the experiment--up to 7 days after the operation; II (period of restoration of the functional activity) lasts in the control from 14 up to 90 days, in the experiment--from 7 up to 30 days after the operation; III (steady functioning of the renal transplant) begins in the control on the 90th day, in the experiment--on the 30th day after the operation and lasts up to the end of the observations. Such signs as lymphostasis and certain disturbances of oxidation-reduction and physical-chemical processes in the renal tissue are specific features. Time of normalization of the processes mentioned and degree of their manifestation depend on spontaneous or surgical restoration of the lymphatic outflow pathways. The surgical relymphatization of the renal transplant contributes to a more rapid and complete restoration of its morphofunctional state in comparison to a traditional method of the kidney transplantation.

RESUMEN

Cell populations of mice lungs have been studied for variations in the lavage and lumen of the alveoli. The development of the tourniquet shock induces a decrease in the number of macrophages and lymphocyte and an increase in the number of neutrophils, erythrocytes and epithelium cells. Application of the proteolysis enzyme inhibitors is found to stabilize the bronchoalveolar barrier and to prevent these changes.

RESUMEN

The paper deals with analysis of modern literature on origin of basophils and basophilic blood granulocytes. Data of radioimmunologic, electron-microscopic, cytochemical and morphological studies make it possible to conclude that these cells are of bonemarrow origin.

RESUMEN

The functional and metabolic properties of neutrophils in white mice were studied in the course of streptococcal peritonitis and after treatment by the intraperitoneal injection of normal rabbit serum, antitryptic and antikallikrein immune sera and inhitryl. Protease inhibitors were shown to activate the bactericidal and phagocytic activity of neutrophils, to normalize oxidation processes and to enhance the metabolism of glycogen.

RESUMEN

The injection of proteolytic inhibitors changes phagocytosis and metabolism of leucocytes in different ways. The polyvalent inhibitor, inhitril, increased phagocytosis but does not change digestive activity of leucocytes. Activities of acid phosphatase, peroxidases and succinatedehydrogenase as well as glycogen contents are seen decreased, whereas activity of glycerophosphate dehydrogenase increases, and that of lactate dehydrogenase does not change. Anti-tryptic serum decreases phagocytosis, both digestive and enzymatic activities of leucocytes, glycogen accumulation being observed. Anti-kallikrein serum decreases phagocytosis and activity of lactate dehydrogenase, and does not change glycogen accumulation and activities of digestion and of acid phosphatase. In addition, activities of succinate-, glycerophosphate dehydrogenase and peroxidase increase.

RESUMEN

The size of the renal body in convoluted parts of proximal and distal nephrons has been studied in normal dogs and after section and ligation of the efferent lymphatic vessels in 4 series of experiments (85 dogs). Observations have been made 12 h, 3 and 10--150 days after the operation. Histological, histochemical and morphometric methods have been applied; the level of residual nitrogen has been estimated. In early days of the experiment, the disturbance in lymph drainage has been found to result in edema and albuminous saturation of the connective tissue stroma, granular distrophy of the epithelium in the convoluted tubules of the kidney. After 40--150 days of the experiment, diffuse sclerosis of the connective tissue stroma of the medullar substance and of the pyramids develops. Alterations and disorders in the organ's function on nitrogen discharge are especially pronounced when lymph drainage is disturbed in one kidney, and the other kidney is removed. In such a case, the processes of compensatory hypertrophy are delayed. Morpho-functional alterations are less pronounced after lymph drainage disorders in the compensatory hypertrophic kidney.
