RESUMEN

The advantages of lymphogenic techniques (closed antibiotic perfusion into the lymphatic system) have been shown in 203 surgical patients, as compared to 210 control patients to whom an antibiotic was administered by the current technique. The clinical and economic effect obtained was manifested in a shorter hospital stay, decreased lethality, reduced drug consumption per course of treatment, etc. In 92 cases of severe endo- and exotoxemias of various etiology, accompanied by hepatic or hepatorenal failure the possibility of open perfusion of the lymphatic system which incorporated lymphosorption with CKH type sorbent followed by lymph sanitation with kanamycin (50 mg/kg) before its reinfusion has been shown.

RESUMEN

The possibility of objective estimation of the peritonitis severity by the nose skin autoflora, leucocytic intoxication index (LII) and central lymph toxicity was studied on 25 dogs. The forearm skin autoflora, LII and central lymph toxicity were estimated clinically in 86 patients. The advantage of the endolymphatic therapy with kanamycin over its intramuscular injection was shown.

RESUMEN

The possibility of isolating the lymphatic system from the circulatory system by draining the thoracic lymphatic duct and infusion of different agents (Evans blue, kanamycin, staphylococcus, sodium thiopental and potassium chloride) to the peripheral lymphatic vessels was examined in 22 fresh cadavers and 65 mongrel dogs. The release of the agents to the blood vessels did not occur if the volumetric consumption of intralymphatic infusion did not exceed 0.3 ml/min per peripheral vessel. Both the outflow and toxicity of the lymph from the thoracic duct increased while conducting the perfusion of the lymphatic system by autolymph.
