RESUMEN

The ability to realize high-fidelity quantum communication is one of the many facets required to build generic quantum computing devices. In addition to quantum processing, sensing, and storage, transferring the resulting quantum states demands a careful design that finds no parallel in classical communication. Existing experimental demonstrations of quantum information transfer in solid-state quantum systems are largely confined to small chains with few qubits, often relying upon non-generic schemes. Here, by using a superconducting quantum circuit featuring thirty-six tunable qubits, accompanied by general optimization procedures deeply rooted in overcoming quantum chaotic behavior, we demonstrate a scalable protocol for transferring few-particle quantum states in a two-dimensional quantum network. These include single-qubit excitation, two-qubit entangled states, and two excitations for which many-body effects are present. Our approach, combined with the quantum circuit's versatility, paves the way to short-distance quantum communication for connecting distributed quantum processors or registers, even if hampered by inherent imperfections in actual quantum devices.

OBJECTIVE: Rotator cuff injury is a common injury that includes inflammation, partial tearing, or complete tearing of the rotator cuff tendon. In cases of rotator cuff tears (RCTs), Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-α) can trigger the release of nerve growth factor (NGF). TNF-α is an important inflammatory mediator that affects rotator cuff activity and increased NGF expression is observed in RCTs. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate whether inhibition of TNF-α could reduce behavioural responses and inflammation levels in rats through NGF. METHODS: A rat RCT model was established, and the CatWalk gait analysis system was used for behavioural assessment. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect NGF protein levels in tendon tissue. Hematoxylin eosin (HE) staining was used to observe histopathological changes. The expressions of Interleukin-1beta (IL-1ß) and Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX2) were detected by western blotting (WB) and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). The expression of apoptosis protein Bcl-2-associated X (Bax), B-cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2), and Cysteine-aspartic acid protease-3 (Caspase-3) were detected using WB. Oxidative stress markers, namely Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), Malondialdehyde (MDA), and Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) were quantified in tissues using an ELISA kit. RESULTS: In the RCT model, elevated NGF protein expression, noticeable atrophy in the supraspinatus muscle tissue, and substantial fat infiltration were observed. The levels of IL-1ß, COX2, apoptosis, and oxidative stress were all increased. TNF-α inhibition resulted in decreased NFG expression, decreased tissue fibrosis, and improved tendon atrophy. Moreover, when TNF-α was inhibited, the expressions of IL-1ß and Cox2 were reduced and both apoptosis and oxidative stress were decreased. The results showed that inhibiting TNF-α had the potential to reduce inflammation levels and behavioural responses in rats. CONCLUSION: TNF-α can affect behaviour and inflammation in rats with RCTs through NGF, and TNF-α inhibition can improve rotator cuff injury.

Machine learning (ML) has taken drug discovery to new heights, where effective ML training requires vast quantities of high-quality experimental data as input. Non-absorbable oral drugs (NODs) have unique safety advantage for chronic diseases due to their zero systemic exposure, but their empirical discovery is still time-consuming and costly. Here, a synergistic ML method, integrating small data-driven multi-layer unsupervised learning, in silico quantum-mechanical computations, and minimal wet-lab experiments is devised to identify the finest NODs from massive inorganic materials to achieve multi-objective function (high selectivity, large capacity, and stability). Based on this method, a NH4-form nanoporous zeolite with merlinoite (MER) framework (NH4-MER) is discovered for the treatment of hyperkalemia. In three different animal models, NH4-MER shows a superior safety and efficacy profile in reducing blood K+ without Na+ release, which is an unmet clinical need in chronic kidney disease and Gordon's syndrome. This work provides a synergistic ML method to accelerate the discovery of NODs and other shape-selective materials.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate FAM20A gene variants and histological features of amelogenesis imperfecta and to further explore the functional impact of these variants. METHODS: Whole-exome sequencing (WES) and Sanger sequencing were used to identify pathogenic gene variants in three Chinese families with amelogenesis imperfecta. Bioinformatics analysis, in vitro histological examinations and experiments were conducted to study the functional impact of gene variants, and the histological features of enamel, keratinised oral mucosa and dental follicle. RESULTS: The authors identified two nonsense variants c. 406C > T (p.Arg136*) and c.826C > T (p.Arg176*) in a compound heterozygous state in family 1, two novel frameshift variants c.936dupC (p.Val313Argfs*67) and c.1483dupC (p.Leu495Profs*44) in a compound heterozygous state in family 2, and a novel homozygous frameshift variant c.530_531insGGTC (p.Ser178Valfs*21) in family 3. The enamel structure was abnormal, and psammomatoid calcifications were identified in both the gingival mucosa and dental follicle. The bioinformatics and subcellular localisation analyses indicated these variants to be pathogenic. The secondary and tertiary structure analysis speculated that these five variants would cause structural damage to FAM20A protein. CONCLUSION: The present results broaden the variant spectrum and clinical and histological findings of diseases associated with FAM20A, and provide useful information for future genetic counselling and functional investigation.

BACKGROUND: Despite endovascular coiling as a valid modality in treatment of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH), there is a risk of poor prognosis. However, the clinical utility of previously proposed early prediction tools remains limited. We aimed to develop a clinically generalizable machine learning (ML) models for accurately predicting unfavorable outcomes in aSAH patients after endovascular coiling. METHODS: Functional outcomes at 6 months after endovascular coiling were assessed via the modified Rankin Scale (mRS) and unfavorable outcomes were defined as mRS 3-6. Five ML algorithms (logistic regression, random forest, support vector machine, deep neural network, and extreme gradient boosting) were used for model development. The area under precision-recall curve (AUPRC) and receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC) was used as main indices of model evaluation. SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) method was applied to interpret the best-performing ML model. RESULTS: A total of 371 patients were eventually included into this study, and 85.4% of them had favorable outcomes. Among the five models, the DNN model had a better performance with AUPRC of 0.645 (AUROC of 0.905). Postoperative GCS score, size of aneurysm, and age were the top three powerful predictors. The further analysis of five random cases presented the good interpretability of the DNN model. CONCLUSION: Interpretable clinical prediction models based on different ML algorithms have been successfully constructed and validated, which would serve as reliable tools in optimizing the treatment decision-making of aSAH. Our DNN model had better performance to predict the unfavorable outcomes at 6 months in aSAH patients compared with Yan's nomogram model.

BACKGROUND: Since tethered cord syndrome (TCS) may lead to neurologic and motor dysfunction, surgeries often are applied to relieve the symptoms. The aim of the research was to explore the current global research trends of TCS surgery. METHODS: In this article, articles on TCS surgery in the Web of Science Core Collection from 1980 to 2023 were searched. Research trends, countries, institutions, journals, authors, highly cited articles, and key words were analyzed using bibliometric methods. The literature co-citation network was mapped using VOSviewer, and research hotspots and trends were analyzed using CiteSpace. RESULTS: A total of 432 publications were included. The number of publications and related research interest in the field of TCS surgery has increased globally year by year. The United States is the largest contributor (154 publications). The journal Childs Nervous System has the greatest number of publications (48 publications) and the most frequently cited journal is Neurosurgery (973 citations). In network visualization, the institution with the greatest contribution is University of California System (16 publications). Lee JY and Wang KC are the authors with the greatest number of publications (8 publications), and the most frequently cited author is Klekamp J (268 citations). Neurogenic bladder and spina bifida may be the next hot spot in this field. CONCLUSIONS: This study will help researchers to identify the mainstream research directions and the latest hotspots in the field of TCS surgery and provide a reference for further research.

STUDY DESIGN: Randomized controlled trial. OBJECTIVES: To compare the effect and safety of 2 anesthetic methods using in the operation of Transforaminal Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy. METHODS: From the January of 2020 to the December of 2021, 230 consecutive patients that underwent TELD were applied with two methods of anesthesia. All the patients were divided into two groups. The Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) group used the local anesthesia (LA) with MAC that based on the combination of dexmedetomidine and butorphanol tartrate. The LA group used the local anesthesia only. Then the Visual Analogic Scale (VAS) through the operating period was compared between the two groups at the time points of before operation (T0), inserting of the puncture needle (T1), establishing of the working cannula (T2), excision of the fibrous rings (T3) and immediately postoperatively (T4). Also, the satisfaction degree of the patients for the course of the operations and the occurrence of the complications were compared between the two groups. RESULTS: There were no differences of the VAS around the operating area at the time point of T0. Then the MAC group expressed lower scores at all other points of T1, T2, T3 and T4. Then the satisfaction degree of the MAC group was superior than the LA group. No difference was observed for the occurrence of the complications. CONCLUSIONS: MAC based on the combination of dexmedetomidine and butorphanol tartrate is an ideal method of anesthesia for TELD with enough effect and safety.

BACKGROUND: The evidence of mechanical thrombectomy (MT) in basilar artery occlusion (BAO) was limited. This study aimed to develop dynamic and visual nomogram models to predict the unfavorable outcome of MT in BAO online. METHODS: BAO patients treated with MT were screened. Preoperative and postoperative nomogram models were developed based on clinical parameters and imaging features. An independent dataset was collected to perform external validation. Web-based calculators were constructed to provide convenient access. RESULTS: A total of 127 patients were included in the study, and 117 of them were eventually included in the analysis. The nomogram models showed robust discrimination, with an area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) of 0.841 (preoperative) and 0.916 (postoperative). The calibration curves showed good agreement. The preoperative predictors of an unfavorable outcome were previous stroke, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) at admission, and the posterior circulation Alberta Stroke Program Early Computed Tomography Score (pc-ASPECTS). The postoperative predictors were previous stroke, NIHSS at 24 h, and pc-ASPECTS. CONCLUSION: Dynamic and visual nomograms were constructed and validated for the first time for BAO patients treated with MT, which provided precise predictions for the risk of an unfavorable outcome. The preoperative model may assist clinicians in selecting eligible patients, and the postoperative model may facilitate individualized poststroke management.

Chronic metabolic acidosis, arising as a complication of chronic kidney disease (CKD), not only reduces patients' quality of life but also aggravates renal impairment. The only available therapeutic modality, involving intravenous infusion of NaHCO3 , engenders undesirable sodium retention, thereby increasing hemodynamic load and seriously exacerbating the primary disease. This deleterious cascade extends to the development of cardiovascular diseases. Herein, an orally administered, gut-restricted inorganic adsorbent that can effectively alleviate chronic metabolic acidosis without causing any electrolytic derangement or superfluous cardiovascular strain is developed. The genesis of ABC-350 entails the engineering of bismuth subcarbonate via annealing, thereby yielding a partially ß-Bi2 O3 -doped (BiO)2 CO3 biphasic crystalline structure framework enriched with atomic vacancies. ABC-350 can selectively remove chloride ions and protons from the gastrointestinal tract, mimicking the physiological response to gastric acid removal and resulting in increased serum bicarbonate. Owing to its gut-restricted nature, ABC-350 exhibits commendable biosafety, averting undue systemic exposure. In two rat models of metabolic acidosis, ABC-350 emerges not only as a potent mitigator of acidosis but also effects discernible amelioration concerning proximal tubular morphology, interstitial fibrosis, and the incendiary cascades incited by metabolic acidosis. ABC-350, as the translationally relevant material, provides a promising strategy for the treatment of metabolic acidosis.

Objective: This study presents an innovative articular fossa prosthesis generated by the envelope surface of condyle movement, and compares its mandible movements, muscle activities, and joint reaction forces with two temporomandibular joint (TMJ) prostheses using multibody musculoskeletal simulation. Methods: A healthy 23-year-old female was recruited for this study. Cone-beam computed tomographic (CBCT) was performed to reconstruct the mandibular bone geometry. A customized TMJ fossa prosthesis was designed based on the subject-specific envelope surface of condyle movement (ESCM). Mandibular kinematics and jaw-closing muscle electromyography (EMG) were simultaneously recorded during maximum jaw opening-closing movements. To validate our prosthesis design, a mandibular musculoskeletal model was established using flexible multibody dynamics and the obtained kinematics and EMG data. The Biomet fossa prosthesis and the ellipsoidal fossa prosthesis designed by imitating the lower limb prostheses were used for comparison. Simulations were performed to analyze the effects of different fossa prostheses on jaw opening-closing motions, mandibular muscle activation, and contact forces. Results: The maximum opening displacement for the envelope-based fossa prosthesis was greater than those for Biomet and ellipsoidal prostheses (36 mm, 35 mm, and 33 mm, respectively). The mandibular musculoskeletal model with ellipsoidal prosthesis led to dislocation near maximal jaw opening. Compared to Biomet, the envelope-based fossa reduced the digastric and lateral pterygoid activation at maximal jaw opening. It also reduced the maximal resistance to condylar sliding on the intact side by 63.2 N. Conclusion: A customized TMJ fossa prosthesis was successfully developed using the ESCM concept. Our study of musculoskeletal multibody modeling has highlighted its advantages and potential. The artificial fossa design successfully achieved a wider condylar range of motion. It also reduced the activation of jaw opening muscles on the affected side and resistance on the intact side. This study showed that an ESCM-based approach may be useful for optimizing TMJ fossa prostheses design.

In this study, effects of three iron (oxyhydr)oxides on the biogas residue composting, i.e., composting with goethite (CFe1), hematite (CFe2) or magnetite (CFe3), were investigated. Results showed that composting performance of CFe1 was much better than those of CFe2 and CFe3. Addition of goethite increased temperature of CFe1 and enhanced lignin humification. More than 31.49% of Fe(III) in goethite was reduced to amorphous Fe(II) during the composting, suggesting that goethite worked as electron acceptor for microbial metabolism and heat generation. The functional bacteria Chloroflexi and Actinobacteria, and genes encoding key enzymes (AA1 family), which play essential roles in humification of lignin, were enriched in CFe1. Besides, goethite reduced 10.96% organic matter (OM) loss probably by increasing the molecular size and aggregation of OM for its protection during the composting. This study shows that adding goethite is an efficient strategy to enhancing the humification of lignin-rich biowaste.

BACKGROUND: Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) causes long-term functional dependence and death. Early prediction of functional outcomes in aSAH patients with appropriate intervention strategies could lower the risk of poor prognosis. Therefore, we aimed to develop pre- and post-operative dynamic visualization nomograms to predict the 1-year functional outcomes of aSAH patients undergoing coil embolization. METHODS: Data were obtained from 400 aSAH patients undergoing endovascular coiling admitted to the People's Hospital of Hunan Province in China (2015-2019). The key indicator was the modified Rankin Score (mRS), with 3-6 representing poor functional outcomes. Multivariate logistic regression (MLR)-based visual nomograms were developed to analyze baseline characteristics and post-operative complications. The evaluation of nomogram performance included discrimination (measured by C statistic), calibration (measured by the Hosmer-Lemeshow test and calibration curves), and clinical usefulness (measured by decision curve analysis). RESULTS: Fifty-nine aSAH patients (14.8%) had poor outcomes. Both nomograms showed good discrimination, and the post-operative nomogram demonstrated superior discrimination to the pre-operative nomogram with a C statistic of 0.895 (95% CI: 0.844-0.945) vs. 0.801 (95% CI: 0.733-0.870). Each was well calibrated with a Hosmer-Lemeshow p-value of 0.498 vs. 0.276. Moreover, decision curve analysis showed that both nomograms were clinically useful, and the post-operative nomogram generated more net benefit than the pre-operative nomogram. Web-based online calculators have been developed to greatly improve the efficiency of clinical applications. CONCLUSIONS: Pre- and post-operative dynamic nomograms could support pre-operative treatment decisions and post-operative management in aSAH patients, respectively. Moreover, this study indicates that integrating post-operative variables into the nomogram enhanced prediction accuracy for the poor outcome of aSAH patients.

OBJECTIVE: Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) is an aggressive disease with higher mortality rate in the elderly population. Unfortunately, the previous models for predicting clinical prognosis are still not accurate enough. Therefore, we aimed to construct and validate a visualized nomogram model to predict online the 3-month mortality in elderly aSAH patients undergoing endovascular coiling. METHOD: We conducted a retrospective analysis of 209 elderly aSAH patients at People's Hospital of Hunan Province, China. A nomogram was developed based on multivariate logistic regression and forward stepwise regression analysis, then validated using the bootstrap validation method (n = 1000). In addition, the performance of the nomogram was evaluated by various indicators to prove its clinical value. RESULT: Morbid pupillary reflex, age, and using a breathing machine were independent predictors of 3-month mortality. The AUC of the nomogram was 0.901 (95% CI: 0.853-0.950), and the Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness-of-fit test showed good calibration of the nomogram (p = 0.4328). Besides, the bootstrap validation method internally validated the nomogram with an area under the curve of the receiver operator characteristic (AUROC) of 0.896 (95% CI: 0.846-0.945). Decision curve analysis (DCA) and clinical impact curve (CIC) indicated the nomogram's excellent clinical utility and applicability. CONCLUSION: An easily applied visualized nomogram model named MAC (morbid pupillary reflex-age-breathing machine) based on three accessible factors has been successfully developed. The MAC nomogram is an accurate and complementary tool to support individualized decision-making and emphasizes that patients with higher risk of mortality may require closer monitoring. Furthermore, a web-based online version of the risk calculator would greatly contribute to the spread of the model in this field.

Background: Hyperuricemia and right ventricular dysfunction (RVD) are both widespread in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) patients. RVD is associated with a poor prognosis in HFpEF. The correlation between serum uric acid (UA) levels and right ventricular function is unclear. The prognostic performance of UA in patients with HFpEF needs further validation. Methods and results: A total of 210 patients with HFpEF were included in the study and divided into two groups according to UA level: the normal UA group (≤7 mg/dl) and the high UA group (>7 mg/dl). The variables examined included clinical characteristics, echocardiography, and serum biochemical parameters. Right ventricular function was assessed by tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion (TAPSE) and tricuspid annular peak systolic velocity (TAPSV). Baseline characteristics were compared between the two groups, and the correlation between baseline UA and RVD was assessed using multifactorial binary logistic regression. Kaplan-Meier curves were used to describe all-cause mortality and heart failure readmission. Results showed that right ventricular function parameters were worse in the high UA group. After adjusting for UA, left ventricular posterior wall thickness (LVPWT), N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), atrial fibrillation (AF), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), UA (odds ratio = 2.028; p < 0.001) was independently associated with RVD, and UA >7 mg/dl (HR = 2.98; p < 0.001) was associated with heart failure readmission in patients with HFpEF. Conclusion: Elevated serum UA is closely associated with RVD and significantly associated with the heart failure readmission rate in patients with HFpEF.

RESUMEN

The aim of this study is to assess the relationship between somatosensory functional changes and inferior alveolar nerve (IAN) exposure after impacted mandibular third molars (M3M) removal. We recruited 35 patients who underwent impacted M3M extraction near the IAN. The M3Ms were extracted by combined endoscopy, piezosurgery, and contra-angle high-speed turbine handpiece. All IAN canal perforations and exposed regions were recorded and measured by endoscopy after extraction and on cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images before extraction. The patients were followed up 1, 7, and 35 days after surgery. A standardized quantitative sensory testing (QST) battery was performed on the lower lip skin. All of 35 cases had exposed IAN on CBCT images, 5 of which had no exposed IAN under endoscopy. For the other 30 cases, the endoscopy-measured IAN length and width were shorter than the CBCT measurements (P < 0.001). The warm and mechanical detection thresholds (MDT) on the operation side were significantly higher than the contralateral side after surgery (P < 0.05). Thermal sensory limen, MDT, and cold pain threshold were strongly correlated with the exposed IAN length and MDT also with the exposed IAN width one day after surgery. In conclusion, it was found that not all exposed IAN in CBCT images were real exposure after surgery. The intraoperative exposed IAN endoscopic measurements were smaller than by CBCT and strongly correlated with some QST parameters.

OBJECTIVE: Inferior pole fractures of patella are notorious fractures where it is difficult to obtain rigid internal fixation by conventional methods. The objective of the study was to introduce the Hand Plating System (HPS), which was a novel surgical technique for inferior pole fractures of patella, and to report the radiological and clinical outcomes following the application of the surgical technique. METHODS: The study was designed as a retrospective cohort study. Between July 2017 and December 2018, 30 patients who were diagnosed with inferior pole fracture of the patella without additional orthopaedic injuries were enrolled in this case series. After X-ray and 3D-CT examinations, all patients underwent open reduction and internal fixation by HPS with or without supplementary cannulated screw and lag screw stabilization. The bony union time, final range of motion (ROM), Bostman score, visual analog scale (VAS), and complications were measured as the clinical outcomes under a minimum of 12 months of follow-up. RESULTS: All of the operations went well with the mean operative time of 76.2 ± 15.3 min. Bony union achieved in all the cases at an average of 9.5 ± 1.4 weeks after surgery. There was no loss of reduction, fixative failure, or surgical implant removal during follow-up. The average range of motion 1 year postoperatively was 0°-123.3°. The mean Bostman Score at the last follow-up was 26.8 ± 2.1 with the satisfactory rate of 100%. The pain feeling during walking as measured by VAS averaged at 0.9 ± 1.3. No complications developed except for one case of poor incision healing, which healed eventually after surgical debridement. CONCLUSIONS: HPS was demonstrated as a secure fixation and as a kind of tension band for inferior pole fractures of the patella. Satisfactory recovery of knee function and low complication rate, including no need for hardware removal, could be expected.

Soil washing is one of the effective methods for permanent removal of heavy metals from farmland soil, and selection of washing agents determines heavy metal removal efficiency. However, there is still a lack of cost-efficient and eco-friendly washing agents. In this study, three residues of traditional Chinese herbal medicine (RTCHM) extracts: residues of Prunus mume (Sieb.) Sieb. et Zucc. (RPM), residues of Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill. (RSC), and residues of Crataegus pinnatifida Bunge (RCP), were tested for their potential of Cd removal. The variations in amounts and compositions of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and citric acid were responsible for the difference in Cd removal efficiencies of RTCHM extracts. Fourier-transform infrared spectrophotometer (FTIR) analysis showed that hydroxyl, carboxyl, and amine were the main functional groups of RTCHM extracts to chelate with heavy metals. The optimum conditions for RTCHM extracts were 100 g L-1 concentration, solid-liquid ratio 1:10, pH 2.50, and contact time of 1 h, and the highest Cd removal efficiencies of RPM, RSC, and RCP extracts reached 35%, 11%, and 15%, respectively. The ecological risk of Cd decreased significantly due to the decrease of exchangeable and reducible Cd fractions. RTCHM extracts washing alleviated soil alkalinity and had little effect on soil cation exchange capacity. Meanwhile, the concentrations of soil organic matter and nitrogen were enhanced significantly by RPM extracts and the activities of soil catalase and urease were also improved. Overall, among the tested extracts, RPM extracts was a much more feasible and environment-friendly washing agent for the remediation of Cd-contaminated farmland soil.

BACKGROUND: To investigate the clinical application of modified Crain classification in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction (ACLR) with remnant preservation. METHODS: The subjects were 70 patients with ACL injury who underwent ACLR from May 2016 to June 2018, and their general data were recorded. They were randomly divided into modified remnant-preserved ACLR group (group M, n = 35) and non remnant-preserved ACLR group (group N, n = 35). ACLR program with remnant preservation was designed based on modified Crain classification in group M, while ACL remnants were completely cleaned during ACLR in group N. Subsequently, the two groups were compared in terms of operation time, complications, as well as Lysholm score, international knee documentation committee (IKDC) score and positive rate of Lachman test of knee joint before operation and at 3, 6 and 12 months after operation. RESULTS: Both the groups showed good postoperative efficacy, and none had complications like limited knee extension or cyclops lesion. The comparison results found that group M (72.49 ± 7.64 min) required longer operation time than group N (66.06 ± 6.37 min) (P < 0.05). Lysholm score and IKDC score at 3, 6 and 12 months after operation in the two groups were significantly higher than those before operation (P < 0.05); group M had higher Lysholm score and IKDC score at 3 months and 6 months after operation compared with group N (P < 0.05). Additionally, the positive rate of Lachman test at 3, 6 and 12 months after operation in both groups was significantly lower than that before operation (P < 0.05), but there was no significant difference between group M and group N. CONCLUSION: With the modified Crain classification, many remnant-preserved reconstruction techniques can be rationally used to completely preserve the remnant ligament tissue during operation and improve knee joint function and joint stability with few complications.

RESUMEN

The complete mitochondrial genome of Polypedilum nubifer was sequenced and annotated, and its general features and base composition were analyzed. The mitogenome was 15,896 bp long, comprising 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transport RNA genes, 2 ribosomal RNA genes, and 1 control region. The phylogenetic relationships based on the concatenated nucleotide sequences of 17 metagenomes from families Chironomidae, Ceratopogonidae, and Simuliidae were reconstructed. According to the phylogenetic topologies, P. nubifer was closely related to (P. unifascium + P. vanderplanki) in the maximum likelihood tree.
