RESUMEN

An ionic liquid-based ionically cross-linked gel polymer electrolyte (GPE-ILs) was successfully synthesized using acrylic acid, 2-diethylaminoethyl methacrylate, methyl methacrylate, and ionic liquids. Electrochromic devices (ECDs) with an architecture of glass/FTO/WO3/GPE-ILs/FTO/glass were fabricated by a laminating technology. The devices showed performances of large optical modulation of 49.9% at 650 nm, short switching times with the coloration time (tc) of 7 s and the bleaching time (tb) of 4 s, high coloration efficiency of 96.2 cm2 C-1, and cycling stability of 200 cycles. The GPE-ILs exhibits high ionic conductivity, superior thermal stability and good self-healing ability. GPE-ILs demonstrates an ionic conductivity of 3.19 × 10-3 S cm-1 at 25 °C and the same ions migration behaviors with most widely used liquid electrolyte between -10 and 80 °C maintains more than 80% of its tensile strength after self-healing and received only 5% weight loss at 300 °C.

RESUMEN

The aim of this study was to analyze the correlation between dynamic changes in the nasopharyngeal viral load of patients infected with the new coronavirus causing pneumonia and lymphocyte count disease severity. Cases newly diagnosed with COVID-19 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from January 2020 to February 2020 were analyzed retrospectively. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction was used to determine severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) from throat swab sample ΔCT values; lymphocyte and lymphocyte subset counts, coagulation system factor levels, myocardial injury indexes, and laboratory biochemical indicators were compared between the mild group and the severe group. The correlation between the relative load of nasopharyngeal SARS-CoV-2 RNA and severe disease symptoms was analyzed. Of the 76 patients, 49 were male and 27 were female. The lymphocyte, CD4+ T lymphocyte, and CD8+ T lymphocyte counts all differed significantly between the two groups (p < 0.001), as did differences in interleukin (IL)-2R, IL-6, and IL-8 levels (p = 0.022, 0.026, and 0.012, respectively). Moreover, there were significant differences in prothrombin time, D-dimer, and fibrinogen levels between the mild group and the severe group (p = 0.029, 0.006, and <0.001, respectively), and in lactate dehydrogenase and troponin (p < 0.001 and p = 0.007, respectively). SARS-CoV-2 RNA load and lymphocyte count, CD4+ T lymphocyte count, and CD8+ T lymphocyte count were linearly negatively correlated (p < 0.001). SARS-CoV-2 RNA load was positively correlated with IL-2R, prothrombin time, lactate dehydrogenase, and hypersensitive troponin T (p = 0.002, p = 0.009, and p < 0.001, respectively). In addition, the time that it took for the nucleic acid test to turn negative was significantly shorter for patients in the mild group than for those in the severe group (Z = -6.713, p < 0.001). In conclusion, relative SARS-CoV-2 RNA load in the nasopharynx is closely related to COVID-19 severity. If the relative RNA load was higher, the lymphocyte count was lower, organ damage was greater, and the time it took for the nucleic acid test to turn negative was longer.

RESUMEN

The preparation of Cs y FA1-y PbI x Br3-x -based perovskite by ultrasonic spraying has valuable application in the preparation of tandem solar cells on textured substrates due to its excellent stability and the advantages of large-area uniform preparation from the spraying technology. However, the bandgap of perovskite prepared by spraying method is difficult to adjust, and perovskites with a wide bandgap have the issue of phase instability. Here, we improved the crystallinity of the perovskite by simply controlling the post-annealing temperature. The results show that perovskite film prepared by hybrid spray method has the best crystallinity and device performance at a post-annealing temperature of 170 °C. On this basis, the bandgap of perovskite was changed from 1.53 eV to 1.76 eV by controlling the ratio of the organic halogen precursor solution. When the bandgap is 1.57 eV, a perovskite solar cell with an efficiency of 18.31% is obtained.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: Growth Factor Receptor-bound 2 (GRB2) plays a crucial role in regulation of cellular function including proliferation and differentiation, and we previously identified GRB2 as promoting HSCs (HSCs) proliferation. However, the underlying mechanisms that are involving in the regulation of GRB2 in hepatic fibrogenesis remain unknown. METHODS: In the present study, we tested the function of GRB2 in hepatic fibrosis. Hepatic fibrosis was induced by subcutaneous CCl4 administration at a dose of 3mL/kg in rats. The rat HSC cell line HSC-T6 were cultured for proliferation investigation by CCK-8 and BrdU incorporation method. The levels of GRB2, HMGB1, PI3K/AKT, COL1A1 and α-SMA were analyzed by western blot or real-time PCR. RESULTS: showed that the expression of GRB2 and HMGB1 was obviously increased in liver tissues of hepatic fibrosis rats accompanied by up-regulation of COL1A1 and α-SMA. In cultured HSCs, application of exogenous HMGB1 induced cell proliferation and cell proliferation rate concomitantly with up-regulation of GRB2 expression and PI3K/AKT phosphorylation. The effects of HMGB1-induced proliferation of HSCs and up-regulation of COL1A1 and α-SMA were abolished by GRB2 siRNA. HMGB1-induced proliferation of HSCs and up-regulation of COL1A1 and α-SMA was reversed in the presence of LY294002, an inhibitor of PI3K inhibitor. CONCLUSIONS: These findings suggest that GRB2 plays an important role in CCl4-induced hepatic fibrosis by regulating HSCs' function, and up-regulation of GRB2 induced by HMGB1 is mediated via the PI3K/AKT pathway.

RESUMEN

Background. We previously identified miR-146b as being up-regulated during the development of hepatic fibrosis using deep sequencing technology and gene expression analysis. However, the roles and related mechanisms of miR-146b in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs), which are involved in fibrogenesis and fibrosis, have not been elucidated. RESULTS: We report that miR-146b expression was increased in TGF-ß1-treated HSCs. TGF- ß1 enhanced α-SMA and COL1A1 protein expression in HSCs and stimulated proliferation of these cells compared with cells transfected with inhibitor NC. Conversely, miR-146b knock-down decreased α-SMA and COL1A1 expression and inhibited HSC proliferation. In addition, we found that miR-146b specifically regulated the translation of Krüppel-like factor 4 (KLF4) by targeting its 3' untranslated region. Forced expression of KLF4 inhibited TGF- ß1-induced enhancement of α-SMA and COL1A1 expression in HSCs, as well as proliferation of these cells. Moreover, miR-146b expression was negatively associated with KLF4 expression but positively associated with expression of α-SMA and COL1A1 during hepatic fibrosis. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings demonstrate the participation of miR-146b as a novel upstream effector of HSC activation via direct targeting of KLF4. Thus, targeted transfer of miR-146b into HSCs could be a useful strategy for the treatment of hepatic fibrosis.
