RESUMEN

With the rise of social networks, more and more users share their location on social networks. This gives us a new perspective on the study of user movement patterns. In this paper, we solve the trajectory re-identification task by identifying human movement patterns and then linking unknown trajectories to the user who generated them. Existing solutions generally focus on the location point and the location point information, or a single trajectory, and few studies pay attention to the information between the trajectory and the trajectory. For this reason, in this paper, we propose a new model based on a contrastive distillation network, which uses a contrastive distillation model and attention mechanisms to capture latent semantic information for trajectory sequences and focuses on common key information between pairs of trajectories. Combined with the trajectory library composed of historical trajectories, it not only reduces the number of candidate trajectories but also improves the accuracy of trajectory re-identification. Our extensive experiments on three real-world location-based social network (LBSN) datasets show that our method outperforms existing methods.

RESUMEN

Objectives: In this study, we examine influencing factors and demand forecast of single disease demand in Chinese public hospitals. Methods: We conducted a preliminary screening of the literature, according to a literature search strategy and inclusion and exclusion criteria. Related Chinese and English articles between 2000 and 2022 were searched in the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, PubMed, and Elsevier databases and Google Scholar. The Jadad literature scoring mechanism was used, and Stata/SE version 12.0 software was used to perform a meta-analysis of the effect size of literature statistics. The outcome index was the 2-week visit rate. Results: We included 13 articles for meta-analysis. Their combined effect size and 95% confidence interval for chronic disease, age, gender, economic factors, medical insurance form and education level were 3.43 (2.26, 5.51), 2.53 (1.74, 3.68), 1.3 (1.16, 1.46), 2.31 (1.16, 4.61), 3.2 (2.98, 3.45) and 1.35 (1.14, 1.6), respectively. Results revealed that for patients with chronic diseases, those>60 years of age and families with better economic conditions and higher levels of education correlated with a higher demand for medical services among families with medical insurance for urban residents. Conclusion: Using meta-analysis, we analyzed the factors that affect the demand for medical services in China. From demographic and economic factors, national medical insurance policies and residents' health status, we analyzed the relationship between patients with a single disease and other factors. With respect to the influence of medical service demand, relevant departments should take effective measures to increase medical service demand according to the influencing factor of the 2-week visit rate and simultaneously provide scientific theoretical guidance for medical reform.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical value of laparoscopic cytoreductive surgery (CRS) in treating of appendiceal pseudomyxoma peritonei with limited disease and low tumor burden. METHODS: The clinical data of patients with appendiceal pseudomyxoma peritonei treated by surgery with CRS at the Aerospace Center Hospital from January 2018 to December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into laparoscopic or open CRS groups according to the operation method. A propensity score-matched (PSM) analysis (1:1) was performed, the related clinical variables were compared between the two groups, and the effect on progression-free survival (PFS) was also analyzed. RESULTS: One hundred and eight patients were included in this study. After PSM, 33 patients were selected from each group and the age and peritoneal cancer index were matched between the two groups. There were significant differences in operation time (P < 0.001), intraoperative bleeding (P < 0.001), intraoperative blood transfusion (P = 0.007), hospital stay (P < 0.001). The analysis of PFS showed that there was no significant difference between the two operation methods. After multivariate analysis, the pathologic subtype (P = 0.012) was identified as an independent prognostic factor for PFS. CONCLUSION: The curative effect of laparoscopic CRS is like that of open operation, which can significantly shorten the operation time and hospital stay and reduce intraoperative bleeding and blood transfusion event. The laparoscopic CRS is safe and feasible in strictly selected patients. The pathologic subtype is an independent factor affecting the prognosis for PFS.

RESUMEN

We have identified an IncX1 plasmid named pQJDSal1 from Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Pullorum (S. Pullorum). The plasmid is 67,685 bp in size and has 72 putative genes. pQJDSal1 harbors a conserved IncX1-type backbone with predicted regions for conjugation, replication and partitioning, as well as a toxin/antitoxin plasmid addiction system. Two regions (A and B) that have not been previously reported in IncX1 plasmids are inserted into the backbone. Region A (10.7 kb), inserted between parA and taxD, consists of a new Tn6168-like transposon containing an arsenic resistant operon arsB2CHR and sulfonamide resistance gene sul2. Region B contains another arsenic resistant operon arsADHR, resistance gene blaTEM-1B and three transposable elements. Conjugation experiments showed that pQJDSal1 could transfer from S. Pullorum to Escherichia coli (E. coli) J53. Statistical analysis of 70 sequenced IncX1 plasmids revealed that IncX1 plasmids harbored various antibiotic resistance genes. The results highlight the importance of IncX1 plasmids in disseminating antibiotic resistance genes.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: This meta-analysis aimed to assess whether the specific nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) naproxen has a role in reducing the occurrence of heterotopic ossification after hip surgery. METHODS: Potential studies were identified in the following electronic databases: PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and Google. We included studies involving hip surgery patients in which the intervention group received naproxen and the control group received placebo. The occurrence of heterotopic ossification and complications were the final outcomes. Stata 13.0 was used for the meta-analysis. RESULTS: Four randomized controlled trials (RCTs) involving 269 patients were ultimately included in this meta-analysis. The use of naproxen was associated with a significant reduction in the occurrence of heterotopic ossification at 1.5-, 3-, 6-, and 12-month follow-ups (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the occurrence of complications between treatment and control groups (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: Our analysis indicates that naproxen can decrease the occurrence of heterotopic ossification without increasing complications in hip surgery patients. Due to the limited number of studies included, more high-quality RCTs are needed to identify the optimal dose of naproxen.

RESUMEN

For hydrogel patches, the laboratory tests could not fully reveal the existing problems of full scale of industrial production, and there are few studies about the preparation technique for the industrial manufacturing process of hydrogel patches. So, the purpose of this work was to elucidate the effects of mainly technological operation and its parameters on the performance of hydrogel patches at the industrial-scale production. The results revealed the following: (1) the aqueous phase was obtained by polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) along with tartaric acid dissolved in purified water, then feeding this into a vacuum mixer as a whole in one batch, thus extended the crosslinking reaction time of hydrogel paste (matrix) and allowed the operation of coating/cutting-off to be carried out easily, and there was no permeation of backing layer; (2) the gel strength of the hydrogel patches increased with the increase of working temperature, however, once the temperature exceeded 35 ± 2 °C, the hydrogel paste would lose water severely and the resultant physical crosslinking structure which has lower gel/cohesive strength would easily bring gelatinization/residues during application; (3) the relative humidity (RH) of the standing-workshop was dynamically controlled (namely at 35 ± 2 °C, keeping the RH at 55 ± 5% for 4 days, then 65 ± 5% for 2 days), which would make patches with satisfactory characteristics such as better flexibility, higher adhesive force, smooth flat matrix surface, and without gelatinization/residues and warped edge during the using process; (4) the aging of the packaged hydrogel patches was very sensitive to storage temperature, higher temperature, higher gel strength and lower adhesiveness. The storage temperature of 10 ± 2 °C could effectively prevent matrix aging and adhesion losing, which would also facilitate the expiration date of patches extended obviously. In conclusion, this work provides an optimized and feasible preparation technique for the industrial production of the hydrogel patches and establishes the hydrogel patches as a novel carrier for transdermal drug delivery.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of fibrin sealant for the reduction of postoperative blood loss and transfusion requirements in patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty (THA) and total knee arthroplasty (TKA). METHODS: Electronic databases including PubMed, Embase, CENTRAL (Cochrane Controlled Trials Register), Web of Science and Google Scholar were searched from database inception to February 2016. All randomized controlled trials evaluating the efficacy and safety of topical administration of fibrin glue during primary THA or TKA were included in our meta-analysis. Transfusion requirements, total blood loss, length of hospital stay and the occurrence of infection were calculated using Stata 12.0 software. RESULTS: A total of nineteen clinical trials with 1489 patients (405 hips and 1084 knees) were finally included for meta-analysis. The results indicated that the topical administration of fibrin sealant can decrease the need for transfusion (RR = 0.33, 95%CI 0.28-0.40, P < 0.001), total blood loss (MD = -138.25, 95% CI -203.49 to -75.00), blood loss in drainage (MD -321.44, 95% CI -351.96 to -290.92, P < 0.001) and hospital stay length (MD -0.98, 95% CI -1.35 to -0.62, P < 0.001) without increasing the occurrence of infection (RR = 0.87, 95% CI 0.33 to 2.27, P = 0.775). CONCLUSION: The topical use of fibrin sealant can effectively reduce the need for transfusion, total blood loss and the volume of drainage without increasing the rate of infection.

RESUMEN

The purpose of this work was to develop and characterize the fibrauretine (FN) loaded propylene glycol-embodying deformable liposomes (FDL), and evaluate the pharmacokinetic behavior and safety of FDL for vaginal drug delivery applications. FDL was characterized for structure, particle size, zeta potential, deformability and encapsulation efficiency; the ability of FDL to deliver FN across vagina tissue in vitro and the distribution behavior of FN in rat by vaginal drug delivery were investigated, the safety of FDL to the vagina of rabbits and rats as well as human vaginal epithelial cells (VK2/E6E7) were also evaluated. Results revealed that: (i) the FDL have a closed spherical shape and lamellar structure with a homogeneous size of 185±19nm, and exhibited a negative charge of -53±2.7mV, FDL also have a good flexibility with a deformability of 92±5.6 (%phospholipids/min); (ii) the dissolving capacity of inner water phase and hydrophilicity of phospholipid bilayers of deformable liposomes were increased by the presence of propylene glycol, this may be elucidated by the fluorescent probes both lipophilic Nile red and hydrophilic calcein that were filled up the entire volume of the FDL uniformly, so the FDL with a high entrapment capacity (were calculated as percentages of total drug) for FN was 78±2.14%; (iii) the permeability of FN through vaginal mucosa was obviously improved by propylene glycol-embodying deformable liposomes, no matter whether the FN loaded in liposomes or not, although FN loaded in liposomes caused the highest permeability and drug reservoir in vagina; (iv) the FN mainly aggregated in the vagina and uterus, then the blood, spleen, liver, kidney, heart and lungs for vaginal drug delivery, this indicating vaginal delivery of FDL have a better 'vaginal local targeting effect'; and (v) the results of safety evaluation illustrate that the FDL is non-irritant and well tolerated in vivo, thereby establishing its vaginal drug delivery potential. These results indicate that the propylene glycol-embodying deformable liposomes may be a promising drug delivery carrier for vaginal delivery of fibrauretine.

RESUMEN

Ultrasonic technique was employed to extract polysaccharides from pomegranate peel. The optimal conditions for ultrasonic extraction of pomegranate peel polysaccharide (PPP) were determined by response surface methodology. Box-Behnken design was applied to evaluate the effects of four independent variables (ratio of water to raw material, extraction time, extraction temperature, ultrasonic power) on the yield of PPP. The correlation analysis of mathematical-regression models indicated that quadratic polynomial model could be employed to optimize the ultrasonic extraction of PPP. The optimum extraction parameters were as follows: ratio of water to raw material, 24 ml/g; extraction time, 63 min; extraction temperature, 55°C; and ultrasonic power, 148 W. Under these conditions, the polysaccharide yield was 13.658 ± 0.133% for the pomegranate peel, which well matches with the predicted value.

RESUMEN

Background. Diabetic patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) suffer from low quality of life (QOL). We aim to assess the effectiveness of auricular acupressure for QOL improvement in these patients. Materials and Methods. Sixty-two participants were randomly assigned to an auricular or a control arm in a randomized controlled trial. Participants in the auricular arm were instructed to perform auricular acupressure 3-5 times per day for 3 months, when they were receiving conventional treatments. Participants in the control arm received conventional treatments only. The primary outcome was the summarized score of Kidney Disease and Quality of Life Short-Form (KDQOL-SF) at 3 months after randomization. The secondary outcomes included the 36-Item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). Results. The summarized KDQOL differed significantly between the acupressure (76.6, 95% CI, 72.2 to 81.0) and the control group (61.8, 95% CI, 57.7 to 65.9). Similar results were found in the SF-36 scores. HbA1c and eGFR were not found to be significantly different between the arms and neither were the adverse events. Conclusion. Auricular acupressure was well tolerated in diabetic patients with chronic kidney diseases receiving hemodialysis. Future research is needed to confirm these results.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: The amniotic carrier complex membrane, which contains bFGF and vitamin C (VitC) and is loaded with BMSCs, is planted into the deeply-partial wounds of rabbits. To explore its influence on the epidermis renascence and regenerating speed in the process of the dermis restore. METHODS: BMSCs were isolated from the marrows of 24 healthy 3-month-old New Zealand rabbits, male or female, weighing 1.0-1.5 kg. The BMSCs were cultured in vitro and purified, and then amniotic carrier complex membrane was prepared, whose size was 4.52 cm2. Three deep-partial wounds, with the area of about 3.14 cm2, were produced on the back of each rabbit. All the wounds were randomly divided into 3 groups: group A, group B and group C. Group A was the experimental group in which the amniotic carrier complex membrane was planted, including 1 ml BMSCs, 10 mL bFGF (0.2 mg/L) and 10 mL VitC (0.02 g/L). In group B, the amniotic carrier complex membrane was planted, including only 1 mL BMSCs. In group C, the amniotic carrier complex membrane alone was planted. After the operation, general observation was conducted. At postoperative 7, 14 and 21 days, respectively, the observation by HE, Masson, Van Gieson staining and immunohistochemical staining of collagen type I was performed. The ink perfusion method was performed to evaluate the velocity and the quality of the wound healing after the transplantation. RESULTS: All the wounds obtained good healing. At 14 days after the operation, the ratio of wound healing was 60%, 41% and 23% in groups A, B and C, respectively. At 21 days after the operation, the the ratio of wound healing was 99%, 90% and 81% in groups A, B and C, respectively. There were significant differences between any two groups (P < 0.05). The depth of the newborn dermis, the number of the active collagen type I masculine cells and the number of the blood vessels in group A were better and more than in group B. And those in group B were better and more than in group C. At the exterior area of the newborn dermis, there was lots of regenerated epidermis from the peripheral normal skin, which in group A was better than in group B, and in group B was better than in group C. CONCLUSION: The amniotic carrier complex membrane transplanted to deep-partial wounds, which is appended with BMSCs, bFGF and VitC, can accelerate repair and reconstruction of the dermis. There has an optimal time of the renascence and regeneration of the epidermis in the process of dermis repair.

RESUMEN

Wound dressings' occlusivity is directly correlated with water permeability and may affect wound healing. This study evaluated the wound dressings' occlusivity in comparison to their ability to retain water in an in vitro human skin model. Human cadaver skin was stretched over fully filled vials of physiological saline and banded. After 30 minutes, during which equilibrium was established, baseline values for transepidermal water loss (TEWL) were measured. Then an occlusive film was placed over one skin, a semi-occlusive dressing over another and finally 100 microL of a 5% copolymer solution over the third piece of skin, which was then allowed to aerate until it formed a thin membrane. One skin sample was left fully exposed to the air, serving as a blank control. After 30 minutes post-treatment, the TEWL was re-measured for all the samples. TEWL values showed the occlusive film was the most water-impermeable, allowing only a mean of 1.6 g/m(2) hours of water to pass through and thus also showing a significant difference (p < 0.05) in comparison to the blank (untreated) control. Furthermore, the semi-occlusive membrane decreased TEWL but not significantly, whereas the film former appeared to have no effect. We found no significant decrease in TEWL in the semi-occlusive membrane and even in the film former. This in vitro model provides a fast and economical method of screening the effect of occlusivity in wound dressings.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the reborn barks quality, antihypertensive effective component of pinoresnol diglucoside (PDG) in three times reborn barks were determined. METHODS: A YWG C18 column (10 microm, 250 x 4.6 mm) was used with a mobile phase of methanol-water (30:75) and flow rate of 1.0 (ml/min). The detective wave-length was set at 277nm and the column temperature at room temperature. RESULTS: PDG in the first reborn barks are slightly higher than the original ones, and in the second reborn barks are similar with the barks before girdling (the fist reborn barks), but in the third reborn barks, PDG are much lower than the barks before girdling (the second reborn barks). CONCLUSION: In order to ensure reborn barks quality, we suggest that the girdling bark regeneration can be made two times, the time between the first and the second girdling is not less than five years. PDG in the third reborn barks should be enhanced.
