RESUMEN

Fullerene (C60) crystals have attracted considerable attention in the field of optoelectronic devices owing to their excellent performance as n-type semiconductor material. However, a challenge still remains unbeaten as to the continuous crystallization of non-solvated C60 single-crystal films with high coverage and uniform alignment using low-cost solution techniques. Here, a facile bar coating method is used to prepare ribbon-shaped non-solvated C60 crystals with a large area (up to centimeters) and high coverage (>95%) by precisely controlling the crystallization process from specific solvents. Benefiting from the non-solvated crystalline structure, well-distributed thickness, uniform morphological alignment, and crystallographic orientation, organic field-effect transistors fabricated from the C60 single-crystal films exhibit a high average electron mobility of 2.28 cm2 V-1s-1, along with the coefficient of variance (CV) as small as 13.6%. This efficient manufacturing method will lay a strong foundation for C60 single-crystal films to fit into the future high-performance integrated optoelectronic application.

ß-1,3-glucanases can degrade ß-1,3-glucoside bonds in ß-glucan which is the main cell-wall component of most of fungi, and have the crucial application potential in plant protection and food processing. Herein, a ß-1,3-glucanase FlGluA from Flavobacterium sp. NAU1659 composed of 333 amino acids with a predicted molecular mass of 36.6 kDa was expressed in Escherichia coli BL21, purified and characterized. The deduced amino acid sequence of FlGluA showed the high identity with the ß-1,3-glucanase belonging to glycoside hydrolase (GH) family 16. Enzymological characterization indicated FlGluA had the highest activity on zymosan A, with a specific activity of 3.87 U/mg, followed by curdlan (1.16 U/mg) and pachymaran (0.88 U/mg). It exhibited optimal catalytic activity at the pH 5.0 and 40 °C, and was stable when placed at 4 °C for 12 h in the range of pH 3.0-8.0 or at a temperature below 50 °C for 3 h. Its catalytic activity was enhanced by approximately 36 % in the presence of 1 mM Cr3+. The detection of thin-layer chromatography and mass spectrometry showed FlGluA hydrolyzed zymosan A mainly to glucose and disaccharide, and trace amounts of tetrasaccharide and pentasaccharide, however, it had no action on laminaribiose, indicating its endo-ß-1,3-glucanase activity. The mycelium growth of F. oxysporum treated by FlGluA was inhibited, with approximately 37 % of inhibition rate, revealing the potential antifungal activity of the enzyme. These results revealed the hydrolytic properties and biocontrol activity of FlGluA, laying a crucial foundation for its potential application in agriculture and industry.

To explore the favorable factors that help slow the progression of disease in patients with mild Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy (CSM). A retrospective analysis was conducted, involving the enrollment of 115 CSM patients. The categorization of patients into two groups was based on the duration of symptoms, assessments using the mJOA scale and Health Transition (HT) scores: mild-slow group and severe-rapid group. We found that the patients in both groups had similar degrees of spinal cord compression, but mild-slow group were older and had smaller C2-C7 cobb angle (Flexion) (CL(F)), C2-C7 cobb angle (Range of motion) (CL(ROM)), Transverse area (TA), Normal-TA, Compressive spinal canal area (CSCA), Normal-Spinal canal area (Normal-SCA) and lower Spinal cord increased signal intensity (ISI) Grade than the severe-rapid group. A binary logistic regression analysis showed that CL(ROM) and Normal-TA are favorable factors to help slow the progression of disease patients with mild CSM. Through ROC curves, we found that when CL(ROM) < 39.1° and Normal-TA < 80.5mm2, the progression of disease in CSM patients may be slower. Meanwhile, we obtained a prediction formula by introducing joint prediction factor: L = CL(ROM) + 2.175 * Normal-TA. And found that when L < 213.0, the disease progression of patients may be slower which was superior to calculate CL(ROM) and Normal-TA separately.

The precise assessment of vascular heterogeneity in brain tumors is vital for diagnosing, grading, predicting progression, and guiding treatment decisions. However, currently, there is a significant shortage of high-resolution imaging approaches. Herein, we propose a contrast-enhanced susceptibility-weighted imaging (CE-SWI) utilizing the minimalist dextran-modified Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Dextran@Fe3O4 NPs) for ultrahigh-resolution mapping of vasculature in brain tumors. The Dextran@Fe3O4 NPs are prepared via a facile coprecipitation method under room temperature, and exhibit small hydrodynamic size (28 nm), good solubility, excellent biocompatibility, and high transverse relaxivity (r2*, 159.7 mM-1 s-1) under 9.4 T magnetic field. The Dextran@Fe3O4 NPs-enhanced SWI can increase the contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) of cerebral vessels to 2.5 times that before injection and achieves ultrahigh-spatial-resolution visualization of microvessels as small as 0.1 mm in diameter. This advanced imaging capability not only allows for the detailed mapping of both enlarged peritumoral drainage vessels and the intratumoral microvessels, but also facilitates the sensitive imaging detection of vascular permeability deterioration in a C6 cells-bearing rat glioblastoma model. Our proposed Dextran@Fe3O4 NPs-enhanced SWI provides a powerful imaging technique with great clinical translation potential for the precise theranostics of brain tumors.

Elevated circulating D-dimer levels have been shown to be a predictor of in-hospital mortality in a variety of diseases; however, the relationship between D-dimer and the in-hospital prognosis of non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) remains unclear. This retrospective study included 662 non-diabetic patients with NSTEMI. Independent risk factors were identified by multivariate analyses, and the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses were performed to compare the predictive value of D-dimer, albumin (ALB), and D-dimer to albumin ratio (DAR) for in-hospital death in NSTEMI. Logistic regression model with restricted cubic spline (RCS) was used to further explore the linear or nonlinear relationship between D-dimer and the risk of death. In-hospital mortality occurred in 38 (5.7%) patients. Multivariate analysis showed that D-dimer (per increase of 500 ng) was identified as an independent predictor for in-hospital mortality in non-diabetic patients with NSTEMI (OR = 1.19, 95% CI: 1.03-1.40, P = 0.036). D-dimer demonstrated good predictive performance for in-hospital mortality with an area under the ROC curve (AUC) value of 0.75 (95% CI: 0.66-0.83), and there was no significant difference in the predictive ability of D-dimer, ALB (AUC = 0.70, 95% CI: 0.61-0.79) and DAR (AUC = 0.75, 95% CI: 0.66-0.84). In addition, RCS analysis showed a linear relationship between D-dimer and the risk of in-hospital mortality (P for nonlinear = 0.747). D-dimer can be used as a simple, reliable and valuable biomarker for predicting in-hospital mortality in non-diabetic patients with NSTEMI and is linearly associated with the risk of death.

Hormonal changes in pregnant and lactating women significantly affect bone metabolism and overall stress levels, positioning them as a unique group within the orthodontic population. Fluctuations in estrogen, progesterone, prolactin, and other hormones are closely linked to bone remodeling and the periodontal tissue's response to inflammation caused by dental plaque. Hormones such as thyrotropin, leptin, and melatonin also play crucial roles in pregnancy and bone remodeling, with potential implications for orthodontic tooth movement. Additionally, adverse personal behaviors and changes in dietary habits worsen periodontal conditions and complicate periodontal maintenance during orthodontic treatment. Notably, applying orthodontic force during pregnancy and lactation may trigger stress responses in the endocrine system, altering hormone levels. However, these changes do not appear to adversely affect the mother or fetus. This review comprehensively examines the interaction between hormone levels and orthodontic tooth movement in pregnant and lactating women, offering insights to guide clinical practice.

The precise mapping of collateral circulation and ischemic penumbra is crucial for diagnosing and treating acute ischemic stroke (AIS). Unfortunately, there exists a significant shortage of high-sensitivity and high-resolution in vivo imaging techniques to fulfill this requirement. Herein, a contrast enhanced susceptibility-weighted imaging (CE-SWI) using the minimalist dextran-modified Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4@Dextran NPs) are introduced for the highly sensitive and high-resolution AIS depiction under 9.4 T for the first time. The Fe3O4@Dextran NPs are synthesized via a simple one-pot coprecipitation method using commercial reagents under room temperature. It shows merits of small size (hydrodynamic size 25.8 nm), good solubility, high transverse relaxivity (r2) of 51.3 mM-1s-1 at 9.4 T, and superior biocompatibility. The Fe3O4@Dextran NPs-enhanced SWI can highlight the cerebral vessels readily with significantly improved contrast and ultrahigh resolution of 0.1 mm under 9.4 T MR scanner, enabling the clear spatial identification of collateral circulation in the middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) rat model. Furthermore, Fe3O4@Dextran NPs-enhanced SWI facilitates the precise depiction of ischemia core, collaterals, and ischemic penumbra post AIS through matching analysis with other multimodal MR sequences. The proposed Fe3O4@Dextran NPs-enhanced SWI offers a high-sensitivity and high-resolution imaging tool for individualized characterization and personally precise theranostics of stroke patients.

Introduction: Limited survival data are available for patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (mNSCLC) who stop immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy (ICI) early for reasons other than progression of disease (POD), such as immune-related adverse events (irAEs). Methods: We conducted a retrospective observational study of all patients with mNSCLC treated with ICIs, with or without combination chemotherapy, at 3 Mayo Clinic sites between 2011 and 2022. Separate analyses were conducted at 6- and 12-month intervals. Patients who discontinued ICI due to POD prior to these time points were excluded from the analysis. Results: A total of 246 patients with stage IV NSCLC used ICIs. Patients were then excluded if they had experienced POD prior to 6 or 12 months, resulting in 81 and 63 patients, respectively, for each timepoint. Sixty-four patients continued treatment beyond 6 months and were found to have longer progression-free survival (PFS) compared to the 17 patients who discontinued treatment (22.8 months vs 11.8 months, P =1.1E-04), as well as a significant increase in overall survival (OS) (33.9 months vs 14.4 months, P =7.2E-08). Forty patients continued treatment beyond 12 months and had longer PFS compared to the 23 patients that discontinued treatment (27.9 months vs 14.8 months, P =1.1E-04), as well as a significant increase in OS (39.7 months vs 18.0 months, P =2.0E-07). The most common reason for ICI discontinuation was irAEs. Other common reasons for stopping ICI were non-irAEs and stable disease. At both time points, 12 patients continued or restarted ICI after experiencing an irAE, and 2 patients experienced recurrent/new grade 1-2 irAEs. More patients continued/rechallenged with ICI after experiencing an irAE in the groups that continued ICI compared to those that discontinued ICI. Conclusions: Patients with mNSCLC and no POD who continued ICI beyond 6 months and 12 months, experienced significantly increased PFS and OS compared to patients who discontinued ICI, with larger increases in those who continued ICI past 12 months. Oncology providers should discuss the survival benefits of continuing ICI and offer support to overcome obstacles to continuation of treatment, if possible, particularly management of grade 1 and 2 irAEs.

Background: The immune system appears to play a crucial role in how breast cancer responds to chemotherapy. In this study, we investigated a peripheral marker of immune and inflammation named the neutrophil to albumin ratio (NAR) to explore its potential relationship with pathological complete response (pCR) in locally advanced breast cancer patients who underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of 212 consecutive breast cancer patients who received NAC. The NAR was calculated by examining the complete blood cell count and albumin level in peripheral blood before starting NAC. Through ROC curve analysis, we determined the optimal cutoff value for NAR as 0.0877. We used Pearson's chi-square test or Fisher's exact test to evaluate the relationship between NAR and pCR, as well as other clinical and pathological characteristics. Logistic regression models were employed for univariate and multivariate analyses. Results: The results of both univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses showed that NAR was associated with tumor pathological regression. The NAR high group had a higher pCR rate compared to the NAR low group (OR 3.127 [95% CI 1.545-6.328]; p = 0.002). Conclusion: According to this study, it was observed that patients with breast cancer who had high levels of NAR were more likely to achieve pCR when undergoing NAC.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a challenging condition to cure that can occur at any age. The gut microbiome and intestinal epithelial barrier play a crucial role in the development of IBD. 1,3-Dioleoyl-2-palmitoylglycerol (OPO), the predominant triglyceride in breast milk, is a structural lipid with multiple physiological functions. However, the protective effect of OPO on IBD and its underlying mechanism remains unclear. This study showed that oral administration of OPO markedly ameliorated dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis phenotypes. OPO treatment reduced inflammation levels by suppressing the TLR4-MyD88-NF-κB signaling pathway in colitis mice. Furthermore, OPO treatment improved intestinal epithelial barrier function via promoting epithelial cell proliferation and differentiation, inhibiting cell apoptosis, and upregulating tight junction protein expression. The 16S rRNA gene sequencing revealed that OPO treatment restored microbial alpha diversity and reshaped the microbiota of colitis mice. Therefore, our study revealed that OPO exhibited a protective role in DSS-induced colitis via maintaining intestinal epithelial barrier integrity and modulating gut microbiota. Our results highlight that OPO could be used as effective supplements for individuals with IBD or intestinal dysfunctions.

AIM: To explore an exosome-relevant molecular classification in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). BACKGROUND: Exosome genes or relevant non-coding RNAs are regulators of cancer treatment and prognosis, but their function in LUAD has not yet been determined. OBJECTIVE: Unraveling a molecular classification applying exosome-related RNA networks for LUAD prognosis evaluation. METHODS: MicroRNA sequencing data (miRNAs-seq) and RNA sequencing data (RNA- seq) were derived from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). The ConsensusCluster- Plus package was used for molecular typing in LUAD based on 121 Exosome-related genes. Then, a limma package was conducted to explore differentially expressed mRNAs (DEmRNAs), differentially expressed miRNAs (DEmiRNAs) and differentially expressed lncRNAs (DElncRNAs) in molecular typing for constructing an Exosome-driven competing endogenous RNA network (ceRNA). Dominant miRNAs, as well as target mRNAs, were identified by COX modeling and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis. RESULTS: Two Exosome-associated molecular clusters classified in LUAD. The C2 cluster favored high clinicopathology and showed a trend toward poor prognosis. 29 lncRNA- miRNA and 12 miRNA-mRNA interaction pairs were identified. The hsa-miR-429 was the pivotal miRNA in the network that affected the prognosis of LUAD. According to the interaction relationship and LUAD prognostic role, SNHG6-hsa- miR-429-CHRDL1/CCNA2 was identified. SNHG6-hsa-miR-429-CHRDL1 exerts oncogenic effects, and SNHG6-hsa-miR-429- CCNA2 exerts pro-oncogenic effects. CONCLUSION: Overall, our study identified an Exosome-driven ceRNA network in LUAD, and the SNHG6-hsa-miR-429-CHRDL1/CCNA2 axis could be a new therapeutic target for LUAD and our study provides new insights into the molecular mechanisms of LUAD.

Genomic mutations impact non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) biology. The influence of sex and age on the distribution of these alterations is unclear. We analyzed circulating-tumor DNA from individuals with advanced NSCLC from March 2018 to October 2020. EGFR, KRAS, ALK, ROS1, BRAF, NTRK, ERBB2, RET, MET, PIK3CA, STK11, and TP53 alterations were assessed. We evaluated the differences by sex and age (<70 and ≥70) using Fisher's exact test. Of the 34,277 samples, 30,790 (89.83%) had a detectable mutation and 19,923 (58.12%) had an alteration of interest. The median age of the ctDNA positive population was 69 (18-102), 16,756 (54.42%) were female, and 28,835 (93.65%) had adenocarcinoma. Females had more alterations in all the assessed EGFR mutations, KRAS G12C, and ERBB2 ex20 ins. Males had higher numbers of MET amp and alterations in STK11 and TP53. Patients <70 years were more likely to have alterations in EGFR exon 19 del/exon 20 ins/T790M, KRAS G12C/D, ALK, ROS1, BRAF V600E, ERBB2 Ex20ins, MET amp, STK11, and TP53. Individuals ≥70 years were more likely to have alterations in EGFR L861Q, MET exon 14 skipping, and PIK3CA. We provided evidence of sex- and age-associated differences in the distribution of genomic alterations in individuals with advanced NSCLC.

Background: Although prognostic models based on pyroptosis-related genes (PRGs) have been constructed in bladder cancer (BLCA), the comprehensive impact of these genes on tumor microenvironment (TME) and immunotherapeutic response has yet to be investigated. Methods: Based on expression profiles of 52 PRGs, we utilized the unsupervised clustering algorithm to identify PRGs subtypes and ssGSEA to quantify immune cells and hallmark pathways. Moreover, we screened feature genes of distinct PRGs subtypes and validated the associations with immune infiltrations in tissue using the multiplex immunofluorescence. Univariate, LASSO, and multivariate Cox regression analyses were employed to construct the scoring scheme. Results: Four PRGs clusters were identified, samples in cluster C1 were infiltrated with more immune cells than those in others, implying a favorable response to immunotherapy. While the cluster C2, which shows an extremely low level of most immune cells, do not respond to immunotherapy. CXCL9/CXCL10 and SPINK1/DHSR2 were identified as feature genes of cluster C1 and C2, and the specimen with high CXCL9/CXCL10 was characterized by more CD8 + T cells, macrophages and less Tregs. Based on differentially expressed genes (DEGs) among PRGs subtypes, a predictive model (termed as PRGs score) including five genes (CACNA1D, PTK2B, APOL6, CDK6, ANXA2) was built. Survival probability of patients with low-PRGs score was significantly higher than those with high-PRGs score. Moreover, patients with low-PRGs score were more likely to benefit from anti-PD1/PD-L1 regimens. Conclusion: PRGs are closely associated with TME and oncogenic pathways. PRGs score is a promising indicator for predicting clinical outcome and immunotherapy response.

Faced with environmental changes, plants may either move to track their ancestral niches or evolve to adapt to new niches. Vitaceae, the grape family, has evolved diverse adaptive traits facilitating a global expansion in wide-ranging habitats, making it ideal for investigating transition between move and evolve strategies and exploring the underlying mechanisms. Here we inferred the patterns of biogeographic diversification and trait evolution in Vitaceae based on a robust phylogeny with dense sampling including 495 species (~52% of Vitaceae species). Vitaceae probably originated from Asia-the diversity centre of extant genera and the major source of dispersals. Boundaries of the Eocene, Oligocene and Miocene were identified as turning points in shifting strategies. A significant decrease in move strategy was identified during the Oligocene, followed by increases in move and evolve. After the Miocene, evolve began to dominate, during which increased niche opportunities and key trait innovations played important roles.

Dextrocardia is a very rare congenital malposition, and most cardiologists are not familiar with the radiographic angiograms of this condition. Here, we first report a case of dextrocardia with a chronic total occlusion (CTO) lesion undergoing retrograde percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Significant difficulties in lesion interpretation and device manipulation were encountered with the original angiograms. These challenges were not significantly improved until we adopted the double-inversion technique. The procedure was finally accomplished by using the kissing wire technique with a poor angle of attack. Retrograde CTO PCI for patients with dextrocardia is feasible with adequate techniques.

Purpose: Curcumin nanocrystals (Cur-NCs) were prepared by hot melt extrusion (HME) technology to improve the dissolution and bioavailability of curcumin (Cur). Methods: Cur-NCs with different drug-carrier ratios were prepared by one-step extrusion process with Eudragit® EPO (EEP) as the carrier. The dispersed size and solid state of Cur in extruded samples were characterized by dynamic light scattering (DLS), scanning electron microscope (SEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The thermal stability of Cur was analyzed by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Dissolution and pharmacokinetics were studied to evaluate the improvement of dissolution and absorption of Cur by nano-preparation. Results: Cur-NCs with particle sizes in the range of 50~150 nm were successfully prepared by using drug-carrier ratios of 1:1, 2:1 and 4:1, and the crystal form of Cur was Form 1 both before and after HME. The extrudate powders showed very efficient dissolution with the cumulative dissolution percentage of 80% in less than 2 min, and the intrinsic dissolution rates of them were 13.68 ± 1.20 mg/min/cm2, 11.78 ± 0.57 mg/min/cm2 and 4.35 ± 0.20 mg/min/cm2, respectively, whereas that of pure Cur was only 0.04 ± 0.00 mg/min/cm2. The TGA data demonstrated that the degradation temperature of Cur was about 250 °C, while the HPLC results showed Cur was degraded when extruded at the temperature over 150 °C. Pharmacokinetic experiment showed a significant improvement in the absorption of Cur. The Cmax of Cur in the Cur-NC group was 1.68 times that of pure Cur group, and the Cmax and area under the curve (AUC0-∞) of metabolites were 2.79 and 4.07 times compared with pure Cur group. Conclusion: Cur-NCs can be prepared by HME technology in one step, which significantly improves the dissolution and bioavailability of Cur. Such a novel method for preparing insoluble drug nanocrystals has broad application prospects.

BACKGROUND: Copper (Cu) homeostasis are important processes in the cause of metabolic diseases, but the association between Cu and obesity remains unclear. METHODS: Participants were drawn from the 2011-2016 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). Weighted logistic regression assessed the associations of serum Cu concentrations (tertiles) with obesity and central obesity in individuals without comorbidities. Obesity was defined as a BMI ≥30.0 kg/m2, and central obesity was defined as a waist circumference ≥80 cm for women and ≥95 cm for men. RESULTS: This cross-sectional study included 1,665 adults without comorbidities, representing 24,744,034 people (mean age 35.1 years, 48.5% female). High serum Cu levels (tertile 3: ≥19.19 µmol/L) were associated with higher odds of obesity (adjusted odds ratio [OR]: 4.48, 95% CI[confidence interval]: 2.44-8.32) and central obesity (OR: 2.36, 95% CI: 1.19-4.66) compared to low serum Cu levels (tertile 1: ≤15.64 µmol/L). The dose-response curve showed a nonlinear association between Cu levels and obesity (P-nonlinear = 0.02) and a linear association with central obesity (P-nonlinear = 0.21). CONCLUSION: This study suggests that higher serum Cu levels are associated with increased odds of obesity in healthy American adults.

The Janus kinase/signal transducers and activators of transcription (JAK/STAT) signaling is activated by infections of bacteria, fungi, viruses and parasites and mediated cellular and humoral immune responses. In the pea aphid Acyrthosiphon pisum little is known about the function of JAK/STAT signaling in its immune system. In this study, we first showed that expression of genes in the JAK/STAT signaling, including the receptors Domeless1/2, Janus kinase (JAK) and transcriptional factor Stat92E, is up-regulated upon bacteria Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus and fungus Beauveria bassiana infections. After knockdown of expression of these genes by means of dsRNA injection, the aphids harbored more bacteria and suffered more death after infected with E. coli and S. aureus, but showed no significant change after B. bassiana infection. Our study suggests the JAK/STAT signaling contributes to the defense against bacterial infection in the pea aphid.

BACKGROUND: Ion channels play an important role in tumorigenesis and progression of cervical cancer. Multiple long non-coding RNA genes are widely involved in ion channel-related signaling regulation. However, the association and potential clinical application of lncRNAs in the prognosis of cervical cancer are still poorly explored. METHODS: Thirteen patients with cervical cancer were enrolled in current study. Whole transcriptome (involving both mRNAs and lncRNAs) sequencing was performed on fresh tumor and adjacent normal tissues that were surgically resected from patients. A comprehensive cervical cancer-specific lncRNA landscape was obtained by our custom pipeline. Then, a prognostic scoring model of ion-channel-related lncRNAs was established by regression algorithms. The performance of the predictive model as well as its association with the clinical characteristics and tumor microenvironment (TME) status were further evaluated. RESULTS: To comprehensively identify cervical cancer-specific lncRNAs, we sequenced 26 samples of cervical cancer patients and integrated the transcriptomic results. We built a custom analysis pipeline to improve the accuracy of lncRNA identification and functional annotation and obtained 18,482 novel lncRNAs in cervical cancer. Then, 159 ion channel- and tumorigenesis-related (ICTR-) lncRNAs were identified. Based on nine ICTR-lncRNAs, we also established a prognostic scoring model and validated its accuracy and robustness in assessing the prognosis of patients with cervical cancer. Besides, the TME was characterized, and we found that B cells, activated CD8+ T, and tertiary lymphoid structures were significantly associated with ICTR-lncRNAs signature scores. CONCLUSION: We provided a thorough landscape of cervical cancer-specific lncRNAs. Through integrative analyses, we identified ion-channel-related lncRNAs and established a predictive model for assessing the prognosis of patients with cervical cancer. Meanwhile, we characterized its association with TME status. This study improved our knowledge of the prominent roles of lncRNAs in regulating ion channel in cervical cancer.

Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), a typical layered material, has important applications in various fields, such as optoelectronics, catalysis, electronic devices, sensors, and supercapacitors. Extensive research has been carried out on few-layered MoS2 in the field of electrochemistry due to its large specific surface area, abundant active sites and short electron transport path. However, the preparation of few-layered MoS2 is a significant challenge. This work presents a simple one-pot hydrothermal method for synthesizing few-layered MoS2. Furthermore, it investigates the exfoliation effect of different amounts of sodium borohydride (NaBH4) as a stripping agent on the layer number of MoS2. Na+ ions, as alkali metal ions, can intercalate between layers to achieve the purpose of exfoliating MoS2. Additionally, NaBH4 exhibits reducibility, which can effectively promote the formation of the metallic phase of MoS2. Few-layered MoS2, as an electrode for supercapacitor, possesses a wide potential window of 0.9 V, and a high specific capacitance of 150 F g-1 at 1 A g-1. This work provides a facile method to prepare few-layered two-dimensional materials for high electrochemical performance.
