RESUMEN

Input-Output (IO) data describing supply-demand relationships between buyers and sellers for goods and services within an economy have been used not only in economics but also in scientific, environmental, and interdisciplinary research. However, most conventional IO data are highly aggregated, resulting in challenges for researchers and practitioners who face complex issues in large countries such as China, where firms within the same IO sector may have significant differences in technologies across subnational regions and different ownerships. This paper is the first attempt to compile China's interprovincial IO (IPIO) tables with separate information for mainland China-, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan-, and foreign-owned firms inside each province/industry pair. To do this, we collect relevant Chinese economic census data, firm surveys, product level Custom trade statistics, and firm value-added tax invoices and consistently integrate them into a 42-sector, 31-province IO account covering 5 benchmark years between 1997-2017. This work provides a solid foundation for a diverse range of innovative IO-based research in which firm heterogeneity information about location and ownership matters.

The co-amorphous solid dispersion (c-ASD) is a useful method to enhance water solubility of poorly soluble drugs. The objective of this study was to improve the dissolution of Neohesperidin (NE) via binary c-ASD which, to the best of our knowledge, has not yet been reported. Since NE and Naringin (NA) co-exist abundantly in Chinese herbal medicine Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, it was hypothesised that NA served as a co-former of NE-NA c-ASD to improve the dissolution profile of NE. Hence, NA was selected to prepare c-ASD with NE at a weight ratio of 4:10, 10:10, 10:4 by lyophilisation. They were characterised according to thermal properties, molecular interactions, dissolution properties and physical stability. We found that the 10:10 ratio was the most potent in enhancing the dissolution behaviour of NE; whereby NE and NA are highly synchronous in pair-wise solvation process. A molecular mixture was achieved through the intermolecular H-bond and pi-pi stacking force formed between NE and NA and was stable for 7 -months. We concluded that the NE-NA co-amorphous binary system is a promising strategy to improve the dissolution behaviour and stabilise the amorphous state of NE. Bionic co-former selection may be an innovative and effective way to accurately determine the appropriate co-former of poorly water soluble substances.

Population flow can affect regional carbon emissions. Based on the analysis of the dual transmission mechanism of population flow and its effect on carbon emissions, this paper empirically studies the impact of population flow and other related factors on China's carbon emissions through panel econometric regression and heterogeneity analysis with fixed effect model. The results show that, firstly, in the long or short term, China's population flow can reduce the growth of carbon emissions. Secondly, the regional population aging and knowledge structure improvement caused by population flow are helpful to reduce carbon emissions, while the regional urbanization improvement caused by population flow is not significantly correlated with the growth of household miniaturization on carbon emissions. Thirdly, from the perspective of heterogeneous geographical divisions, population flow promotes the increase of carbon emissions in the northwest region of the Hu Huanyong Line (Hu Line), while it is opposite in the southeast region of Hu Line. Fourthly, China's consumption level, per capita GDP, energy intensity, and energy consumption structure have contributed to the growth of carbon emissions, while carbon intensity has a negative effect on carbon emissions. Finally, this paper puts forward relevant suggestions from the perspective of coordinating population policy and energy conservation and emission reduction policy.
