Enterocytozoon hepatopenaei (EHP) is highly contagious and can cause hepatopancreatic microsporidiosis (HPM), which is typically characterized by the slow growth of shrimp. In this study, the differences in histology, metabolism, oxidative stress and growth between healthy and EHP-infected Penaeus vannamei were analyzed using an EHP challenge experiment. Histology showed that EHP caused lesions in the hepatic tubules of P. vannamei, such as hepatic tubular atrophy and epithelial cell shedding, with mature spores. Meanwhile, white feces may appear when the infection is severe. Furthermore, the content of total protein, glycogen, ATP and glucose in the EHP challenge group was significantly reduced. The qPCR results showed that EHP infection changed the expression of key genes in glucose metabolism, among which hexokinase (HK), phosphofructokinase (PFK), pyruvatekinase (PK), citrate synthase (CS) and isocitric dehydrogenase (IDH) were significantly down-regulated, while phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK), fructose bisphosphatase (FBP) and glucose-6-phosphatase (G6P) were significantly up-regulated. Obviously, the expression of growth-related genes was disordered. Simultaneously, the antioxidant genes manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPX), glutathione-S-transferases (GST) and nuclear factor E2-related factor2 (Nrf2) were up-regulated to varying degrees in the EHP challenge group, and EHP infection induced significant increases in the oxidative damage products lipid peroxide (LPO) and malondialdehyde (MDA). Ultimately, the shrimp weight of the challenge group was 6.85 ± 0.86 g, which was significantly lower than that of the control group (8.95 ± 0.75 g). Taken together, we speculate that EHP changes the substance metabolism and growth process by causing oxidative damage to the hepatopancreas, which may lead to the growth retardation of P. vannamei.

Infectious hypodermal and hematopoietic necrosis virus (IHHNV) is one of the linearly single-stranded DNA viruses. Ecytonucleospora hepatopenaei (EHP) is an intracellular parasitic microsporidian. IHHNV and EHP are pathogens that have been widely prevalent in shrimp farming. Both of them are associated with growth retardation of the penaeid shrimp, which causes serious economic losses to shrimp farming. Shrimp can be co-infected with IHHNV and EHP. In this study, a rapid duplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was developed and optimized for the simultaneous detection of EHP and IHHNV. The detection limit of the duplex PCR could reach 1.5 × 102 copies for EHP and IHHNV. A total of 578 Litopenaeus vannamei samples were detected by the established duplex PCR detection method. The results suggested that 398 samples were infected with EHP, 362 samples were infected with IHHNV, and 265 samples were co-infected with EHP and IHHNV. The case-control analysis of the detected shrimp samples showed a certain synergistic effect between EHP and IHHNV.

OBJECTIVES: To investigate the effect of manual acupuncture at "Shangjuxu"(ST37) on nerve growth factor(NGF)/phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)/transient receptor potential vanilloid 1(TRPV1) signaling pathway in rats with chronic visceral hyperalgesia of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), so as to explore its underlying mechanism in treating IBS chronic visceral hyperalgesia. METHODS: IBS chronic visceral hyperalgesia model was established by colorectal dilation stimulation for 2 weeks for SD pups at 8 d after birth, which were fed until 8-week age after the stimulation. Then the verified successfully modeled adult rats were randomly divided into model, Shangjuxu, and non-acupoint groups, with 6 rats in each group, and 6 unmodeled rats were selected as normal group. On the next day of model evaluation, rats in the Shangjuxu group received acupuncture at right ST37 while rats in the non-acupoint group received acupuncture at the non-meridian and non-acupoint point in the right hypochondrium, both for 15 min, with manual twisting of mild reinforcing and reducing performed for 30 s at an interval of 5 min, once a day, for a total of 7 d. Abdominal withdrawal reflex(AWR) score was used to evaluate the degree of chronic visceral pain in rats. Western blot and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR were used to detect the colonic protein and mRNA expressions of NGF, tropomyosin receptor kinase A (TrkA), PI3K and TRPV1. The positive expressions of PI3K and TRPV1 proteins in the colon of rats were detected by immunohistochemistry method. RESULTS: Compared with the normal group, AWR scores corresponding to 4 pressure levels of 20, 40, 60 and 80 mm Hg, mRNA and protein expressions of NGF, TrkA, PI3K and TRPV1 in colon tissue, and positive expressions of PI3K and TRPV1 in colon tissue were significantly increased(P<0.05) in the model group. After intervention, compared with the model group, rats in the Shangjuxu group had reduced AWR scores corresponding to 4 pressure levels of 20, 40, 60 and 80 mm Hg, lower colonic mRNA and protein expressions of NGF, TrkA, PI3K and TRPV1, and decreased positive expressions of PI3K and TRPV1 in colon tissue(P<0.05), while there were no significant differences in the above indexes of the non-acupoint group. CONCLUSIONS: Manual acupuncture at ST37 can alleviate IBS chronic visceral hyperalgesia in rat and its analgesic effect may be related to regulating NGF/PI3K/TRPV1 signaling pathway.

We have theoretically investigated the spatial-temporal dynamics of extraordinary optical transmission (EOT) through a two-slit plasmonic antenna under femtosecond laser dual-beam irradiation. The dynamic interference of the crossed femtosecond laser dual-beam with the transiently excited surface plasmon polariton waves are proposed to characterize the particular spatial-temporal evolutions of EOT. It is revealed that the dynamic EOT can be flexibly switched with tunable symmetry through the respective slit of a two-slit plasmonic antenna by manipulating the phase correlation of the crossed femtosecond laser dual-beam. This is explained as tunable interference dynamics by phase control of surface plasmon polariton waves, allowing the dynamic modulation of EOT at optimized oblique incidences of dual-beams. Furthermore, we have obtained the unobserved traits of symmetry-broken transient spectra of EOT from the respective up- and down-slit of the antenna under crossed femtosecond laser dual-beam irradiation. This study can provide fundamental insights into the ultrafast dynamics of EOT in two-slit plasmonic antennas, which can be helpful to advance a wide range of applications, such as ultrafast plasmonic switch, ultrahigh resolution imaging, the transient amplification of non-linear effects, etc.

Blockchain technology is a decentralized ledger that allows the development of applications without the need for a trusted third party. As service-oriented computing continues to evolve, the concept of Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) has emerged, providing a simplified approach to building blockchain-based applications. The growing demand for blockchain services has resulted in numerous options with overlapping functionalities, making it difficult to select the most reliable ones for users. Choosing the best-trusted blockchain peers is a challenging task due to the sparsity of data caused by the multitude of available options. To address the aforementioned issues, we propose a novel collaborative filtering-based matrix completion model called Graph Attention Collaborative Filtering (GATCF), which leverages both graph attention and collaborative filtering techniques to recover the missing values in the data matrix effectively. By incorporating graph attention into the matrix completion process, GATCF can effectively capture the underlying dependencies and interactions between users or peers, and thus mitigate the data sparsity scenarios. We conduct extensive experiments on a large-scale dataset to assess our performance. Results show that our proposed method achieves higher recovery accuracy.

RESEARCH QUESTION: Does thyroid autoimmunity (TAI) adversely affect pregnancy outcomes after IVF/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) in euthyroid patients with recurrent implantation failure (RIF)? DESIGN: This retrospective cohort study was conducted at the Reproductive Hospital Affiliated with Shandong University from November 2016 to September 2021. A total of 1031 euthyroid patients diagnosed with RIF were enrolled. Based on serum thyroid autoantibody concentrations, the participants were divided into two groups: the TAI-positive group (219 women with RIF) and the TAI-negative group (812 women with RIF). The parameters were compared between the two groups. Additionally, logistic regression was used to adjust related confounders for primary outcomes, and subgroup and stratified analyses were performed according to different thyroid autoantibody types and TSH concentrations. RESULTS: There was no significant difference in ovarian reserve, ovarian response, embryo quality, pregnancy outcome or neonatal outcome between the two groups (P > 0.05). After adjustments for age, body mass index, thyroid-stimulating hormone and free thyroxine, the biochemical pregnancy rate in the TAI-positive group was significantly lower than that in the TAI-negative group (odds ratio 1.394, 95% CI 1.023-1.901, adjusted P = 0.036). Regarding the implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, pregnancy loss rate, stillbirth rate and live birth rate, no significant differences were observed even with subgroup and stratified analyses (P > 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: TAI had no impact on pregnancy outcomes in euthyroid RIF patients who underwent IVF/ICSI. In clinical practice, interventions targeting thyroid autoantibodies in these patients should be implemented with caution and additional evidence is needed.

Infectious hypodermal and haematopoietic necrosis virus (IHHNV) is a major viral pathogen in cultured shrimp. It is generally believed that the target organs of IHHNV in shrimp include tissues of ectodermal and mesodermal origin, but do not normally include organ systems of endodermal origin, such as hepatopancreas. In this study, the feeding challenge of IHHNV in different organs (pleopods, muscles, gills, and hepatopancreas) of Penaeus vannamei was studied. The PCR results showed that hepatopancreas of P. vannamei had the strongest IHHNV positivity (100% positive, 19.4 copies/mg) in the feeding challenge experiment. Gills and pleopods had similar infectivity to IHHNV (86.7% positive, 10.6 and 10.5 copies/mg). Among the four organs tested in this study, the IHHNV positivity of muscles was the weakest (33.3% positive, 4.7 copies/mg). The IHHNV infection to hepatopancreas of P. vannamei was also histological confirmed. Our current data indicated that the shrimp tissues derived from the endoderm such as hepatopancreas could also be infected by IHHNV.

In situ generation of hydrogen peroxide (H2 O2 ) has attracted extensive attention, especially in water treatment. However, traditional anthraquinones can only produce high-concentration H2 O2 and its transportation and storage are not convenient and dangerous. Herein, an in situ and on-demand strategy to produce H2 O2 by using a cascade water electrolysis together with a heterocatalysis system is provided. Beginning with water, H2, and O2 can be generated via electrolysis and then react with each other to produce H2 O2 immediately on efficient zeolite-encaged ultrasmall Pd catalysts. Significantly, the H2 O2 generation rate in the optimized cascade system reaches up to 0.85 mol L-1 h-1 gPd -1 , overcoming most of the state-of-the-art catalysts in previous literature. The confinement effect of zeolites is not only beneficial to the formation of highly dispersed metal species, promoting the H2 O2 generation, but also inhibits the H2 O2 decomposition, enhancing the production yield of H2 O2 . In addition, the effect of electrolytes, sizes of Pd species, as well as zeolite acidity are also systematically studied. This work provides a new avenue for H2 O2 generation via a highly efficient cascade electrolysis-heterocatalysis system by using zeolite-supported metal catalysts. The high catalytic efficiency and green process for H2 O2 generation make it very promising for further practical applications.

The efficient fabrication of nanochannels on hard and brittle materials is a difficult task in the field of micro and nano processing. We have realized nanochannel arrays on silica with characteristic scales varying from 50-230 nm using a single femtosecond Bessel beam pulse of 515 nm. By characterizing the surface openings, we found that the characteristic scales of the nanopore openings are inextricably linked to the surface energy deposition effect. We achieved not only three asymmetric channel profiles by adjusting the laser-sample interaction region, but also high aspect ratio nanochannels with characteristic scales about 50 nm and aspect ratios over 100. These results on hard and brittle materials provide a broader platform and application scenarios for smart particle rectifiers, DNA molecular sequencing, biosensors, and nanofluidic devices, which are also more suitable for future practical applications due to their low cost, good durability, and high productivity.

The position of Xuehai (SP10) is clear, but its locating method is vague, resulting in the disunity of clinical application and even possibly affecting the curative effect. Also, when learning the meridians and acupoints, the beginners are often confused by this issue possibly due to: ① when the bone-length proportional measurement combined with anatomic symbol (combination method) was adopted, it is not clear that the patient should take a posture of knee extension or knee flexion; ② when the combination method used, it is difficult to find the highest point of muscle eminence in the case of patient with thin vastus medialis muscle and fuzzy body surface projection; ③the simple method for locating SP10 is widely used at present, can it replace the combination method to locate this acupoint accurately?Guided by these questions, we, in the present paper, reviewed the rela-ted textbooks, works and other literature to explore the standard position of SP10, and the standard and simple methods for locating this acupoint. Comprehending various opinions, we hold that SP10 should be positioned under the extended knee posture, then, the acupoint's horizontal ordinate "2 cun superior to the medial end of the base of the patella" is determined by using bone-length proportional measurement to measure 2 cun from the bottom to the tip of the patella. Then, the body surface anatomic symbol method is used, when, the patient is asked to stretch the leg and contract the vastus medialis muscle, the highest spot of muscular eminence is the SP10. If the patient's muscular protuberance is not obvious, the middle line between the medial and lateral margins of the vastus medialis muscle is used as the vertical ordinate, and its intersection with the abscissa is SP10. The simple method is easy in operation and has a reference value, but may frequently produce errors, hence, it is not a substitution for the combination method.

Canine parvovirus-2 (CPV-2) is an important pathogen causing severe diseases in dogs and other wild carnivores. Phosphorylation of NS1 may be related to CPV-2 pathogenicity, but the exact mechanism is unclear. Here, we conducted parvovirus disease surveillance in Shaanxi Province of China and 51 fecal swabs were detected to be infected with CPV-2. The 7 CPV-2 strains were identified, all of which belonged to CPV-2c. The complete genome sequence of one of the strains (CPV-2c XY) was cloned into pKQLL plasmid to construct a full-length infectious clone plasmid pX-CPV-2c, which carried a genetic marker. The plasmid pX-CPV-2c was transfected into F81 cells for virus rescue. And the rescued virus, which was designed as X-CPV-2c, showed the similar biological property to parental CPV-2c XY in vitro and in vivo. We further constructed four NS1 phosphorylation site mutant strains (X-CPV-2cT584A, X-CPV-2cS592A, X-CPV-2cT598A/T601A and X-CPV-2cT617A) on the basis of X-CPV-2c. After the analysis and comparison of biological characteristics, the low pathogenic strain X-CPV-2cT598A/T601A was further screened out, which emphasized the importance of phosphorylation sites 598 T/601 T for the pathogenicity of CPV-2. Overall, our data indicated that T598 and T601, the C-terminal phosphorylation site of CPV-2 NS1, play important roles in viral pathogenicity and laid the foundation for the development of new attenuated live vaccine vectors.

Acupuncture can significantly ameliorate inflammatory pain in acute visceral hyperalgesia. Hyperalgesia is attenuated by inflammatory mediators that activate transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1), and TRPV1 is regulated by nerve growth factor (NGF)-induced phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/Akt pathway. However, it is unknown whether NGF-induced PI3K/Akt pathway is associated with manual acupuncture (MA). In this study, the effect and mechanism of MA at Shangjuxu (ST37) and Quchi (LI11) were examined using an acetic acid-induced rat model with visceral hyperalgesia. We demonstrated that MA at ST37 significantly decreased abdominal withdrawal reflex (AWR) scores, proinflammatory cytokine expression (TNF-α, IL-1ß, and IL-6), and TRPV1 protein and mRNA expression in rats with acute visceral hyperalgesia compared with the untreated controls, while MA at LI11 showed no effect. The effects of MA at ST37 were reversed after treatment with the PI3K agonist IGF-1 30 min before MA. In rats with visceral hyperalgesia, the upregulation of NGF, tropomyosin-receptor-kinase A (TrkA), PI3K, and phosphorylation-Akt (p-Akt) was decreased by MA at ST37, indicating that TRPV1 regulation via the NGF-induced PI3K/Akt pathway plays a vital role in the effects of MA-mediated amelioration of acute visceral hyperalgesia.

Porcine Parvovirus (PPV) is a pathogen causing porcine reproductive disorders. Non-structural protein NS1 appears diverse functions acting as a predominant regulator in promoting PPV replication. In this study, we identified a PPV NS1 binding protein coatomer subunit epsilon (COPƐ), and found that COPƐ is a critical regulator during PPV replication. In NS1 transfected or PPV infected cells, COPƐ was interacted with NS1 and translocated into nucleus together with NS1. Knockout of COPƐ could inhibit PPV production by increasing the expression levels of IFN-ß, while overexpression of COPƐ enhanced PPV production by reducing the expression levels of IFN-ß. Furthermore, the domain mapping assay showed that the N-terminal amino acids domain of NS1 (25-EAFSYVF-31) were required for the interaction of COPƐ with NS1. Sequence alignment result displays that parvovirus NS1 (EAFSYVF) amino acids domain is highly conservative among PPV, CPV, FPV and MEV, and down-regulation of COPƐ could also significantly reduce the replication of these viruses. Notably, we found that the interaction of COPƐ with NS1 play an important role in promoting the production of type I interferon during PPV or CPV infection, which affect the replication of these viruses. Taken together, the results presented here show a novel function of NS1 interaction with COPƐ that regulates the parvovirus replication through modulating the type I interferons signaling pathway, provided a potential target for the control of parvovirus-associated diseases.

Porcine Parvovirus (PPV), a pathogen causing porcine reproductive disorders, encodes two capsid proteins (VP1 and VP2) and three nonstructural proteins (NS1, NS2 and SAT) in infected cells. The PPV NS2 mRNA is from NS1 mRNA after alternative splicing, yet the corresponding mechanism is unclear. In this study, we identified a PPV NS1 mRNA binding protein SYNCRIP, which belongs to the hnRNP family and has been identified to be involved in host pre-mRNA splicing by RNA-pulldown and mass spectrometry approaches. SYNCRIP was found to be significantly up-regulated by PPV infection in vivo and in vitro. We confirmed that it directly interacts with PPV NS1 mRNA and is co-localized at the cytoplasm in PPV-infected cells. Overexpression of SYNCRIP significantly reduced the NS1 mRNA and protein levels, whereas deletion of SYNCRIP significantly reduced NS2 mRNA and protein levels and the ratio of NS2 to NS1, and further impaired replication of the PPV. Furthermore, we found that SYNCRIP was able to bind the 3'-terminal site of NS1 mRNA to promote the cleavage of NS1 mRNA into NS2 mRNA. Taken together, the results presented here demonstrate that SYNCRIP is a critical molecule in the alternative splicing process of PPV mRNA, while revealing a novel function for this protein and providing a potential target of antiviral intervention for the control of porcine parvovirus disease.

Although MIR516A has been reported to be downregulated and act as a tumor suppressor in multiple cancers, its expression and potential contribution to human bladder cancer (BC) remain unexplored. Unexpectedly, we showed here that MIR516A was markedly upregulated in human BC tissues and cell lines, while inhibition of MIR516A expression attenuated BC cell monolayer growth in vitro and xenograft tumor growth in vivo, accompanied with increased expression of PHLPP2. Further studies showed that MIR516A was able to directly bind to the 3'-untranslated region of PHLPP2 mRNA, which was essential for its attenuating PHLPP2 expression. The knockdown of PHLPP2 expression in MIR516A-inhibited cells could reverse BC cell growth, suggesting that PHLPP2 is a MIR516A downstream mediator responsible for MIR516A oncogenic effect. PHLPP2 was able to mediate BECN1/Beclin1 stabilization indirectly, therefore promoting BECN1-dependent macroautophagy/autophagy, and inhibiting BC tumor cell growth. In addition, our results indicated that the increased autophagy by attenuating MIR516A resulted in a dramatic inhibition of xenograft tumor formation in vivo. OBJECTIVE: To explore the distribution of pressure- and heat-sensitive acupoints of the Large Intestine of Hand-Yangming, Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming and the Lung Meridian of Hand-Taiyin below the elbow and knee joints in patients with allergic rhinitis, so as to explore the positive reaction points at the body surface of allergic rhinitis. METHODS: Thirty variant rhinitis volunteer subjects and 30 healthy subjects were recruited in the present study. The subcutaneous induration, reaction points of emptiness-like feeling or pressing pain below the elbow- and knee-joints along the Large Intestine Meridian, Stomach Meridian and the Lung Meridian were inspected first, then re-examined by using heat-sensitized moxibustion method and a hand-held pain threshold tester (mechanical pressure), respectively. The frequency and coincidence rate of pressing-pain sensitive and heat-sensitive points were analyzed. RESULTS: In the 30 patients with allergic rhinitis, 10 positive reaction points as Kongzui (LU6), Chize (LU5), Hegu (LI4), Quchi (LI11), Shousanli(LI10), Zusanli (ST36), Shangjuxu (ST37), Fenglong (ST40), Xiajuxu (ST39), and non-acupoint of the Lung Meridian were found. Among them, the duration of heat-sensitive reaction in the LU6, LI10, ST37, ST40, and ST39 regions was obviously shorter in patients than in healthy subjects (P<0.01,P<0.005). The heat-sensitive forms of the positive reaction points were mainly heat transmission, heat-penetration and local reaction. The mechanical pain thresholds of the positive reaction points (LI4, LU6, LI10, LI11 and non-acupoint of the Lung Meridian) at the upper limbs and those (ST36, ST37 and ST40) at the lower limbs were evidently lower in patients than in healthy volunteer subjects (P<0.05). The pressure- and heat-sensitive acupoints were basically coincide in the patients, but being higher in patients than in healthy subjects in the frequency of occurrence. The mechanical pain threshold of the pressure-sensitive acupoints in patients was remarkably lower on the left side than on the right side of the upper limb, and obviously higher on the left side than on the right side of the lower limb (P<0.05). No significant differences were found between the right and left sides in the pain threshold in healthy subjects (P>0.05). CONCLUSION: There is a high overlap in the distribution of pressure- and heat-sensitive acupoints of the Lung, Large Intestine and Stomach meridians below the elbow and knee joints in patients with allergic rhinitis, and there is an imbalance between the left and right limbs in the mechanical pain threshold of the pressure- and heat-sensitive acupoints, but needing being further confirmed.

Because bladder cancer (BC) is one of the most common malignant cancers of the urinary system, identification of BC cell growth-associated effectors is of great significance. Cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK)6 is a member of the CDK family of cell cycle-related proteins and plays an important role in cancer cell growth. This is borne out by the fact that a CDK6 inhibitor had been approved to treat several types of cancers. Nevertheless, underlying molecular mechanisms concerning how to regulate CDK6 expression in BC remains unclear. In the present study, it was observed that miR-934 was much higher in human BCs and human BC cell lines as well. The results also revealed that miR-934 inhibition dramatically decreased human BC cell monolayer growth in vitro and xenograft tumor growth in vivo; the outcomes were accompanied by CDK6 protein down-regulation and G0-G1 cell cycle arrest. Moreover, overexpression of CDK6 reversed the inhibition of BC cell growth induced by miR-934. Further studies showed that miR-934 binds to a 3'-UTR of ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme 2N (ube2n) mRNA, down-regulated UBE2N protein expression; this, in turn, attenuated CDK6 protein degradation and led to CDK6 protein accumulation as well as the promotion of BC tumor growth. Cyclin E2, a member of the cyclin family, is a key cell cycle-related protein. This protein plays essential roles in cancer progression, and, as such, an inhibitor of cyclin E2 has been approved to treat several types of cancers. Even so, mechanisms underlying how to regulate cyclin E2 expression in cancer remain largely unknown. In the current study, miR-3687 was upregulated in clinical bladder cancer (BC) tumor tissues, The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database, and human BC cell lines. Inhibition of miR-3687 expression significantly reduced human BC cell proliferation in vitro and tumor growth in vivo, which coincided with the induction of G0/G1 cell cycle arrest and downregulation of cyclin E2 protein expression. Interestingly, overexpression of cyclin E2 reversed the inhibition of BC proliferation induced by miR-3687. Mechanistic studies suggested that miR-3687 binds to the 3' UTR of foxp1 mRNA, downregulates FOXP1 protein expression, and in turn promotes the transcription of cyclin E2, thereby promoting the growth of BC cells. Collectively, the current study not only establishes a novel regulatory axis of miR-3687/FOXP1 regarding regulation of cyclin E2 expression in BC cells, but also provides strong suggestive evidence that miR-3687 and FOXP1 may be promising targets in therapeutic strategies for human BC.

Aiming at the real-time observation requirements in marine science and ocean engineering, based on underwater acoustic communication and satellite communication technology, a seabed real-time sensing system for in-situ long-term multi-parameter observation applications (SRSS/ILMO) is proposed. It consists of a seabed observation system, a sea surface relay transmission buoy, and a remote monitoring system. The system communication link is implemented by underwater acoustic communication and satellite communication. The seabed observation system adopts the "ARM + FPGA" architecture to meet the low power consumption, scalability, and versatility design requirements. As a long-term unattended system, a two-stage anti-crash mechanism, an automatic system fault isolation design, dual-medium data storage, and improved Modbus protocol are adopted to meet the system reliability requirements. Through the remote monitoring system, users can configure the system working mode, sensor parameters and acquire observation data on demand. The seabed observation system can realize the observation of different fields by carrying different sensors such as those based on marine engineering geology, chemistry, biology, and environment. Carrying resistivity and pore pressure sensors, the SRSS/ILMO powered by seawater batteries was used for a seabed engineering geology observation. The preliminary test results based on harbor environment show the effectiveness of the developed system.
