BACKGROUND: In China, nursing information systems (NIS) implementation can face numerous barriers to acceptance, including the attitudes of potential users. However, few studies have evaluated this acceptance. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to explain the acceptance of NIS utilizing a survey based on unified theory of acceptance and use of technology. METHODS: A multi-center cross-sectional study utilizing an online survey was conducted. SPSS AMOS was used to conduct a structural equation modelling analysis. This research followed the STROBE Checklist. RESULTS: A total of 3973 Nurses participated in the study between January 2023 and March 2023. The acceptance of NIS among nurses was overall moderate to high. The proposed model has been rigorously tested and validated using empirical data, ensuring its credibility and dependability. Performance expectancy (PE), social influence (SI), and attitude significantly and positively affected intentions to use NIS. Effort expectancy (EE) did not show any significant effects in the sample. Facilitating conditions (FCs) was found to have a negative relationship with the intention to use NIS. There was a statistically significant difference BI between the different age groups, working years, and computer training experience. The model demonstrates a good fit with the observed data. CONCLUSIONS: This study identified PE, SI, and attitude as facilitators of nurses' intentions to use NIS. The findings about EE indicates that the ease of using NIS does not seem to be a concern among nurses. Moreover, high FC might be perceived as indicative of a complex system or extensive usage, that can lead to increased workload and reduced behavioural intention (BI). The significant differences in BI among various demographic groups highlight the need for more studies understanding the preferences and barriers faced by different, levels of experience and training backgrounds. Social avoidance refers to the tendency to be alone and non-participating to social interactions, which is considered to hamper health interpersonal relationship. However, the neural underpinnings of social and emotional interactions among social avoidant individuals have not been fully studied. In the present study, we used EEG hyperscanning technology to investigate the brain activity and its synchronization of 25 socially avoidant dyads and 28 comparison dyads during an emotional communication task. The emotional communication task consisted of the emotional processing stage and emotional interaction stage. Event-related potentials (ERPs) of the senders during the emotional processing stage and the interbrain synchrony (IBS) of the dyads during the emotional interaction stage were analyzed. Results showed that (1) socially avoidant group showed higher beta, theta and gamma IBS in the negative condition than in the positive and neutral condition; (2) in positive condition, the N1 and LPP amplitudes during the emotional processing stage of socially avoidant individuals were negatively correlated with the IBS within dyads during the emotional communication stage. The findings suggest that the dysfunctional emotional interaction of social avoidant individuals may be attributed to the negative impact of emotional stimuli processing during emotional communication.

Glucocorticoid use may cause elevated intraocular pressure, leading to the development of glucocorticoid-induced glaucoma (GIG). However, the mechanism of GIG development remains incompletely understood. In this study, we subjected primary human trabecular meshwork cells (TMCs) and mice to dexamethasone treatment to mimic glucocorticoid exposure. The myofibroblast transdifferentiation of TMCs was observed in cellular and mouse models, as well as in human trabecular mesh specimens. This was demonstrated by the cytoskeletal reorganization, alterations in cell morphology, heightened transdifferentiation markers, increased extracellular matrix deposition, and cellular dysfunction. Knockdown of Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 26 (ARHGEF26) expression ameliorated dexamethasone-induced changes in cell morphology and upregulation of myofibroblast markers, reversed dysfunction and extracellular matrix deposition in TMCs, and prevented the development of dexamethasone-induced intraocular hypertension. And, this process may be related to the TGF-ß pathway. In conclusion, glucocorticoids induced the myofibroblast transdifferentiation in TMCs, which played a crucial role in the pathogenesis of GIG. Inhibition of ARHGEF26 expression protected TMCs by reversing myofibroblast transdifferentiation. This study demonstrated the potential of reversing the myofibroblast transdifferentiation of TMCs as a new target for treating GIG.

Background: Parabacteroides goldsteinii, a member of the Parabacteroides genus, was initially discovered in the feces and abdominal tissue of patients with appendicitis, peritonitis, and abdominal abscesses. In recent years, P. goldsteinii has been widely regarded as a gut probiotic, and human infections have been extremely rare. In 2010, P. goldsteinii was first isolated from the blood culture of a patient with abdominal infection, confirming its ability to cause bacteremia. In this study, we report a rare case of puerperal infection with septic shock caused by P. goldsteinii infection in a pregnant woman. Case presentation: A 31-year-old female experienced perineal lacerations, cervical lacerations, and postpartum hemorrhage during childbirth. Nine days postpartum, the patient developed septic shock, and P. goldsteinii infection was identified through blood culture and mass spectrometry. We administered broad-spectrum antibiotics, including meropenem/nalidixic acid and piperacillin tazobactam, intravenously, but the antimicrobial effect was not satisfactory. Upon ultrasound examination, we identified a focus of infection in the patient's uterus. Subsequently, uterine curettage was performed, followed by uterine cavity irrigation with metronidazole and intramuscular injection of gentamicin and dexamethasone. Following treatment, the patient's physiological parameters gradually returned to normal, and she was discharged 30 days after admission. Conclusion: Parabacteroides goldsteinii bacteraemia is extremely rare, and clinically, the postinfection toxicity of this bacterium appears to be significant. In this report, we review the research history of P. goldsteinii and relevant infection cases, aiming to enhance awareness among clinical practitioners, particularly obstetricians and gynecologists, regarding P. goldsteinii bloodstream infections, facilitating early diagnosis and timely treatment.

Background: Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) offers the advantage of effectively relieving rheumatoid arthritis (RA) with minimal side effects. The Juanbi recipe is a commonly utilized TCM treatment for RA, yet its pharmacological mechanism remains unclear. Network pharmacology serves as an effective tool for identifying pharmaceutical ingredients and potential therapeutic targets of TCM, thereby uncovering its mechanisms. This study aimed to identify the core target genes and explore the mechanisms underlying the treatment of RA with the Juanbi recipe. Methods: This study adopted the method of network pharmacology to filter key gene targets of Juanbi recipe in RA treatment. Single-cell ribonucleic acid (RNA) sequencing data was used to screen the key genes to form the core genes of Juanbi recipe in RA treatment. The molecular docking technique was used to verify the core target genes and explore the mechanisms of Juanbi recipe in RA treatment. The RA model of mice was induced by the collagen-induced arthritis and the effect of Juanbi recipe was evaluated by intragastric administrating of extraction of Juanbi recipe. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was used to analysis serum inflammatory factors. Hematoxylin and eosin staining was used to evaluate inflammation and immunohistochemical (IHC) staining was used to evaluate core target genes and pathways in synovium of ankle. Results: This study screened out 281 active molecules in Juanbi recipe, found 105 key target genes of Juanbi recipe in RA treatment, and drew an "ingredient - molecule - gene" diagram. Juanbi recipe reduced the levels of serum interleukin (IL)-1 and IL-6, the inflammatory infiltration in synovium, demonstration that Juanbi recipe reduced both systemic and synovial inflammatory response. Single cell RNA sequencing data were used to select six core target genes and six core active molecules of Juanbi recipe in RA treatment. The pathways of Juanbi recipe in RA treatment involved in activator protein-1 (AP-1) and nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) pathway. Results of western blot and IHC staining showed that Juanbi recipe decreased the expressions of c-jun and p65, which demonstrated that Juanbi recipe inhibited the expression of AP-1 and NF-κB pathway in RA. Conclusions: The core active molecules of Juanbi recipe could inhibit key factors of AP-1 and NF-κB pathway to inhibit the inflammation, which played a protective role in RA.

Potassium-ion batteries (PIBs) are considered potential candidates for large-scale energy storage systems due to the abundant resources of potassium. Among various reported anode materials, bismuth anodes with the advantages of high theoretical specific capacity, low cost, and nontoxicity have attracted widespread attention. However, bismuth anodes experience significant volume changes during the charge/discharge process, leading to unsatisfactory cycling stability and rate performance. In this review, we focus on summarizing the research progress of bismuth anodes in PIBs. We discuss in detail the modification strategies for bismuth anodes in PIBs, including electrolyte optimization, morphology design, and hybridization with carbon materials. In addition, we attempt to propose possible future directions for the development of bismuth anodes in PIBs, aiming to expedite their practical application. It is believed that this review can assist researchers in more efficiently designing high-performance bismuth anode materials for PIBs.

The microbial fuel cell (MFC) is a device that simultaneously achieves electricity generation and sewage degradation. In this study, a novel cathode catalyst metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been fabricated by two-step hydrothermal and dual-solution method (CuCo-MOF@ZIF-8). The synthesized trimetal MOFs exhibited a 3D badminton-like structure morphology and porosity. The results of the characterizations showed that CuCo-MOF@ZIF-8 possesses greater surface area porosity and novel functional groups. The Trimetal MOF-on-MOF mode not only demonstrated the stability of the structure but also enhanced its mechanism. Molecular mechanism analysis revealed changes in the organic ligand and metal binding site due to the transformation of Cu2+ to Cu+, Co2+ to Co3+, and Zn-N to Zn-O organic connection. Furthermore, differences between the two fabrication methods were compared. The solid-state single preparation (CuCo-MOF@ZIF-8-1), was synthesized using the two-step hydrothermal method; the liquid mixed preparation material (CuCo-MOF@ZIF-8-2), was synthesized using the dual-solution method; they exhibited completely different chemical structures and morphologies during material testing and characterization. The maximum output power density of CuCo-MOF@ZIF-8-2-MFC was 246.38 mW/m2, about 2.49 times of ZIF-8 (98.72 mW/m2). The output voltage of CuCo-MOF@ZIF-8-1-MFC was measured at 357 mV over 10 d, while that of CuCo-MOF@ZIF-8-2-MFC reached 365 mV over 12 d.

OBJECTIVE: We systematically assessed prediction models for the risk of in-hospital and 30-day mortality in post-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) patients. DESIGN: Systematic review and narrative synthesis. DATA SOURCES: Searched PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, CNKI, Wanfang Database, VIP Database and SinoMed for literature up to 31 August 2023. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: The included literature consists of studies in Chinese or English involving PCI patients aged ≥18 years. These studies aim to develop risk prediction models and include designs such as cohort studies, case-control studies, cross-sectional studies or randomised controlled trials. Each prediction model must contain at least two predictors. Exclusion criteria encompass models that include outcomes other than death post-PCI, literature lacking essential details on study design, model construction and statistical analysis, models based on virtual datasets, and publications such as conference abstracts, grey literature, informal publications, duplicate publications, dissertations, reviews or case reports. We also exclude studies focusing on the localisation applicability of the model or comparative effectiveness. DATA EXTRACTION AND SYNTHESIS: Two independent teams of researchers developed standardised data extraction forms based on CHecklist for critical Appraisal and data extraction for systematic Reviews of prediction Modelling Studies to extract and cross-verify data. They used Prediction model Risk Of Bias Assessment Tool (PROBAST) to assess the risk of bias and applicability of the model development or validation studies included in this review. RESULTS: This review included 28 studies with 38 prediction models, showing area under the curve values ranging from 0.81 to 0.987. One study had an unclear risk of bias, while 27 studies had a high risk of bias, primarily in the area of statistical analysis. The models constructed in 25 studies lacked clinical applicability, with 21 of these studies including intraoperative or postoperative predictors. CONCLUSION: The development of in-hospital and 30-day mortality prediction models for post-PCI patients is in its early stages. Emphasising clinical applicability and predictive stability is vital. Future research should follow PROBAST's low risk-of-bias guidelines, prioritising external validation for existing models to ensure reliable and widely applicable clinical predictions. Carbon and nitrogen play a fundamental role in the architecture of fungal biofilm morphology and metabolite production. However, the regulatory mechanism of nutrients remains to be fully understood. In this study, the formation of Beauveria bassiana biofilm and the production of (R)-2-(4-Hydroxyphenoxy)propanoic acid in two media with different carbon and nitrogen sources (GY: Glucose as a carbon source and yeast extract as a nitrogen source, MT: Mannitol as a carbon source and tryptone as a nitrogen source) were compared. R-HPPA production increased 2.85-fold in media MT than in media GY. Different fungal biofilm morphology and architecture were discovered in media GY and MT. Comparative transcriptomics revealed up-regulation of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway and polysaccharides degradation genes affecting mycelial morphology and polysaccharides yield of the extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) in MT medium biofilms. Upregulation of genes related to NADH synthesis (carbon metabolism, amino acid metabolism, glutamate cycle) causes NADH accumulation and triggers an increase in R-HPPA production. These data provide a valuable basis for future studies on regulating fungal biofilm morphology and improving the production of high-value compounds.

Rational design and preparation of a multiphase electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) has become a hot research topic, while applicable and pH versatility of vanadium tetrasulfide (VS4) and heptairon octasulfide (Fe7S8) composites have rarely been reported. Here, the facile topological sulfide self-template sacrifice method using FeV bimetallic MOFs is designed to obtain Fe7S8 coupled with VS4 heterostructures, enhancing the electron precipitation in the catalysts and attracts electrons to migrate. According to DFT simulations, the electronic coupling at the atomic orbital level and the modulation of interfacial electrons among various interfaces play a crucial role in enhancing the intermediate state process of the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) across the entire pH range, promoting the optimal d-band centroid value (εd). Reassuringly, the prepared 3D Fe7S8/VS4 electrodes possessed excellent performances of η10 = 53 mV, η10 = 135 mV and η10 = 38 mV in a conventional three-electrode configuration in a 1 M KOH, 1 M Na2SO4, and 0.5 M H2SO4, and the stabilized currents can all be maintained for 48 h. This innovative design of in situ heterostructured materials constructed from dual transition metal sulfides provides inspiring ideas for the preparation of all-pH catalysts.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Angiographic assessment of coronary stenosis severity using quantitative coronary angiography (QCA) is often inconsistent with that based on fractional flow reserve (FFR) or intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). We investigated the incidence of discrepancies between QCA and FFR or IVUS, and the outcomes of FFR- and IVUS-guided strategies in discordant coronary lesions. METHODS: This study was a post-hoc analysis of the FLAVOUR study. We used a QCA-derived diameter stenosis (DS) of 60% or greater, the highest tertile, to classify coronary lesions as concordant or discordant with FFR or IVUS criteria for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The patient-oriented composite outcome (POCO) was defined as a composite of death, myocardial infarction, or revascularization at 24 months. RESULTS: The discordance rate between QCA and FFR or IVUS was 30.2% (n=551). The QCA-FFR discordance rate was numerically lower than the QCA-IVUS discordance rate (28.2% vs. 32.4%, p=0.050). In 200 patients with ≥60% DS, PCI was deferred according to negative FFR (n=141) and negative IVUS (n=59) (15.3% vs. 6.5%, p<0.001). The POCO incidence was comparable between the FFR- and IVUS-guided deferral strategies (5.9% vs. 3.4%, p=0.479). Conversely, 351 patients with DS <60% underwent PCI according to positive FFR (n=118) and positive IVUS (n=233) (12.8% vs. 25.9%, p<0.001). FFR- and IVUS-guided PCI did not differ in the incidence of POCO (9.5% vs. 6.5%, p=0.294). CONCLUSIONS: The proportion of QCA-FFR or IVUS discordance was approximately one third for intermediate coronary lesions. FFR- or IVUS-guided strategies for these lesions were comparable with respect to POCO at 24 months. TRIAL REGISTRATION: ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT02673424.

Interleukin-5 (IL-5) has been reported to be involved in cardiovascular diseases, such as atherosclerosis and cardiac injury. This study aimed to investigate the effects of IL-5 on cardiac remodelling. Mice were infused with angiotensin II (Ang II), and the expression and source of cardiac IL-5 were analysed. The results showed that cardiac IL-5 expression was time- and dose-dependently decreased after Ang II infusion, and was mainly derived from cardiac macrophages. Additionally, IL-5-knockout (IL-5-/-) mice were used to observe the effects of IL-5 knockout on Ang II-induced cardiac remodelling. We found knockout of IL-5 significantly increased the expression of cardiac hypertrophy markers, elevated myocardial cell cross-sectional areas and worsened cardiac dysfunction in Ang II-infused mice. IL-5 deletion also promoted M2 macrophage differentiation and exacerbated cardiac fibrosis. Furthermore, the effects of IL-5 deletion on cardiac remodelling was detected after the STAT3 pathway was inhibited by S31-201. The effects of IL-5 on cardiac remodelling and M2 macrophage differentiation were reversed by S31-201. Finally, the effects of IL-5 on macrophage differentiation and macrophage-related cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis were analysed in vitro. IL-5 knockout significantly increased the Ang II-induced mRNA expression of cardiac hypertrophy markers in myocardial cells that were co-cultured with macrophages, and this effect was reversed by S31-201. Similar trends in the mRNA levels of fibrosis markers were observed when cardiac fibroblasts and macrophages were co-cultured. In conclusions, IL-5 deficiency promote the differentiation of M2 macrophages by activating the STAT3 pathway, thereby exacerbating cardiac remodelling in Ang II-infused mice. IL-5 may be a potential target for the clinical prevention of cardiac remodelling.

Anion-reinforced solvation structure favors the formation of inorganic-rich robust electrode-electrolyte interface, which endows fast ion transport and high strength modulus to enable improved electrochemical performance. However, such a unique solvation structure inevitably injures the ionic conductivity of electrolytes and limits the fast-charging performance. Herein, a trade-off in tuning anion-reinforced solvation structure and high ionic conductivity is realized by the entropy-assisted hybrid ester-ether electrolyte. Anion-reinforced solvation sheath with more anions occupying the inner Na+ shell is constructed by introducing the weakly coordinated ether tetrahydrofuran into the commonly used ester-based electrolyte, which merits the accelerated desolvation energy and gradient inorganic-rich electrode-electrolyte interface. The improved ionic conductivity is attributed to the weakly diverse solvation structures induced by entropy effect. These enable the enhanced rate performance and cycling stability of Prussian blue||hard carbon full cells with high electrode mass loading. More importantly, the practical application of the designed electrolyte was further demonstrated by industry-level 18650 cylindrical cells.

BACKGROUND: Many older adult patients receive low-dose teicoplanin with varied regimens, leading to a lack of clarity on its optimal regimens and toxicity profiles in China. This study aimed to clarify these aspects by analyzing teicoplanin treatment concentrations and toxicities. METHODS: We included older adult patients administered teicoplanin at four tertiary hospitals in Beijing from June 2021 to July 2023, targeting a trough concentration (Cmin) ≥ 10 mg/L. Teicoplanin concentrations and toxicities were monitored dynamically. RESULTS: From 204 patients, we obtained 632 teicoplanin concentrations. Most patients (83.3%) received low-dose regimens. Suboptimal concentrations were found in 66.4% of patients within 7 days of treatment and 17.0% after 15 days. Cmin gradually increased with treatment duration and was influenced initially by creatinine and by both body weight and creatinine from days 8 to 14. The target concentration was achieved in 53.1%, 33.9%, 15.6%, and 5.5% of patients at 3, ≤ 7, 8-14, and ≥ 15 days after withdrawal, respectively. Slow elimination was associated with average Cmin and eGFR. Nephrotoxicity, hepatotoxicity, and thrombocytopenia occurred in 12.5%, 4.1%, and 31.5% of patients, respectively, without significant differences between concentrations. CONCLUSIONS: Most older adult patients were underdosed, indicating a need for dose adjustment. Given the varied risk factors for suboptimal concentrations in different treatment stages, a one-size-fits-all regimen was ineffective. We recommend an initial dose of 400 mg at 12-h intervals for the first three days, with subsequent doses from days 4 to 14 adjusted based on creatinine and body weight; after day 14, a maintenance dose of 200 mg daily is advised. Exposure to particulate matters in air pollution of 2.5 µm or less (PM2.5) was associated with loss of meibomian glands. The aim of this study was to verify that PM2.5 could directly impact meibomian gland epithelial cells and damage their function. To investigate the impact of PM2.5 on meibomian gland, immortalized human meibomian gland epithelial cells were treated with various concentrations of PM2.5in vitro. Meibomian gland cell microstructure, cell viability, expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen and IL-1ß, and intracellular accumulation of acidic vesicles were measured by transmission electron microscopy, cell counting, Western blot and LysoTracker staining, respectively. To further study the effect of PM2.5in vivo, male C57BL/6J mice were treated with 5 mg/ml PM2.5 or vehicle for 3 months. Corneal fluorescein staining and ocular examinations were done before and after the treatment. Eyelids tissues were processed for morphological studies, immunostaining and Oil Red O staining. Our data suggest that exposure to PM2.5 caused significant meibomian gland dropout, clogged gland orifice and increased corneal fluorescein staining that were consistent with the clinical presentations of meibomian gland dysfunction. Prominent changes in the morphology and ultrastructure of meibomian glands was observed with PM2.5 treatment. PM2.5 promoted ductal keratinization, inhibited cell proliferation, induced cell apoptosis and increased Interleukin-1ß production in meibomian gland epithelial cells. This study may explain the association between PM2.5 exposure and meibomian gland dropout observed in clinic. PM2.5 resuspension instillation could be used to induce a meibomian gland dysfunction animal model.

BACKGROUND: A pragmatic randomised controlled trial has confirmed the effectiveness of Urinary Incontinence for Women (UIW) app-based intervention in improving postpartum urinary incontinence (UI) severity among pregnant women. However, the causal mechanisms underlying this intervention effect remain unclear. OBJECTIVE: To examine the mediating role of self-efficacy with pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) on the effect of the UIW app-based intervention in improving postpartum UI severity. METHODS: This was a secondary causal mediation analysis of a single-center, 2-arm, unblinded pragmatic randomised controlled trial. Singleton pregnant women without UI before pregnancy aged ≥18 years and between 24 and 28 weeks of gestation were recruited from a tertiary public hospital in China and randomised to receive the UIW app intervention plus oral PFMT instructions (n = 63) or oral PFMT instructions alone (n = 63). The primary outcome was postpartum changes in UI severity at 6 weeks. Changes in self-efficacy with PFMT 2 months after randomisation were a hypothesised mediator. Causal mediation analysis was used to estimate the average causal mediation effect (ACME), average direct effect (ADE), average total effect (ATE), and proportion mediated. A sensitivity analysis was conducted to examine the robustness of the ACME in relation to potential unmeasured confounding. RESULTS: Data from 103 participants were analyzed. The ATE of UIW app-based intervention on postpartum UI severity was 2.91 points (95 % confidence intervals [CI] 1.69 to 4.12), with ADE of 1.97 points (95 % CI 0.63 to 3.41) and the ACME 0.94 points (95 % CI 0.27 to 1.72). The proportion of ATE mediated by self-efficacy with PFMT was 0.32 (95 % CI 0.08 to 0.67). Sensitivity analysis revealed the robust ACME with respect to the potential effects of unmeasured confounding. CONCLUSION: An increase in self-efficacy with PFMT partially mediated the effect of the UIW app intervention on improvements in postpartum UI severity. BACKGROUND: The concentrations of linezolid, its optimal regimen and the associated side effects in elderly patients remain unclear. METHODS: In this multicentre, prospective study, elderly patients receiving linezolid at four tertiary hospitals in Beijing between May 2021 and December 2022 were included. Linezolid concentrations and haematological toxicity were monitored dynamically. Risk factors for linezolid overexposure and moderate-to-severe linezolid-induced thrombocytopenia (M/S LIT) were analysed, and a predictive model of M/S LIT was developed. RESULTS: A total of 860 linezolid concentrations were measured in 313 patients. The median trough concentrations of linezolid were 24.4 (15.3, 35.8) mg/L at 36-72 h and 26.1 (17.0, 38.1) mg/L at 5-10 days (P = 0.132). Severe linezolid exposure was independently associated with age, estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and the worst SOFA score (SOFA1), and we further recommended dose regimens for elderly patients based on these findings. The incidences of linezolid-induced thrombocytopenia(LIT) and M/S LIT were 73.5% and 47.6%, respectively. M/S LIT was independently correlated with treatment duration, average trough concentration (TDMa), baseline platelet count, eGFR and baseline SOFA score (SOFA0). The developed nomogram predicted M/S LIT with an area under the curve of 0.767 (95% CI 0.715-0.820), a sensitivity of 71.1% and a specificity of 73.2%. CONCLUSIONS: Linezolid trough concentrations increased dramatically in the elderly, by about 10 mg/L in patients aged 65-80 years, followed by a further increase of 10 mg/L for every 10 years of age. Therapeutic drug monitoring is recommended in elderly patients receiving linezolid. The developed nomogram may predict M/S LIT and guide dosage adjustments of linezolid. Perovskites exhibit considerable potential as catalysts for various applications, yet their performance modulation in the carbon dioxide reduction reaction (CO2RR) remains underexplored. In this study, we report a strategy to enhance the electrocatalytic carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction activity via Ce-doped La2CuO4 (LCCO) and Sr-doped La2CuO4 (LSCO) perovskite oxides. Specifically, compared to pure phase La2CuO4 (LCO), the Faraday efficiency (FE) for CH4 of LCCO at -1.4 V vs. RHE (reversible hydrogen electrode) is improved from 38.9% to 59.4%, and the FECO2RR of LSCO increased from 68.8% to 85.4%. In situ attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy spectra results indicate that the doping of A-site ions promotes the formation of *CHO and *HCOO, which are key intermediates in the production of CH4, compared to the pristine La2CuO4. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), and double-layer capacitance (Cdl) outcomes reveal that heteroatom-doped perovskites exhibit more oxygen vacancies and higher electrochemical active surface areas, leading to a significant improvement in the CO2RR performance of the catalysts. This study systematically investigates the effect of A-site ion doping on the catalytic activity center Cu and proposes a strategy to improve the catalytic performance of perovskite oxides.

Optically transparent glass with antifogging and antibacterial properties is in high demand for endoscopes, goggles, and medical display equipment. However, many of the previously reported coatings have limitations in terms of long-term antifogging and efficient antibacterial properties, environmental friendliness, and versatility. In this study, inspired by catfish and sphagnum moss, a novel photoelectronic synergy antifogging and antibacterial coating was prepared by cross-linking polyethylenimine-modified titanium dioxide (PEI-TiO2), polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), and poly(acrylic acid) (PAA). The as-prepared coating could remain fog-free under hot steam for more than 40 min. The experimental results indicate that the long-term antifogging properties are due to the water absorption and spreading characteristics. Moreover, the organic-inorganic hybrid of PEI and TiO2 was first applied to enhance the antibacterial performance. The Staphylococcus aureus and the Escherichia coli growth inhibition rates of the as-prepared coating reached 97 and 96% respectively. A photoelectronic synergy antifogging and antibacterial mechanism based on the positive electrical and photocatalytic properties of PEI-TiO2 was proposed. This investigation provides insight into designing multifunctional bioinspired surface materials to realize antifogging and antibacterial that can be applied to medicine and daily lives.
