RESUMO

In order to maintain the ecological health of rivers and balance ecological and economic benefits, the study focuses on the Gorge Section of the Yongding River. The Lyon method was utilized to determine suitable ecological flow values. An optimized scheduling model for cascade hydropower stations was established to meet ecological flow requirements. Various scheduling scenarios were established to derive the optimized dispatching schemes for cascade hydropower stations. The results show that the appropriate natural ecological flow for the Gorge Section of the Yongding River, ranges from 4.05 to 9.86 m3/s. Under Scenario 1 (outbound flow from Guanting Reservoir: 40.5 m3/s, ecological flow: 4.50 m3/s), Scenario 2 (40.5 m3/s, 6.68 m3/s), Scenario 3 (80.0 m3/s, 4.50 m3/s), and Scenario 4 (80.0 m3/s, 6.68 m3/s), the optimized scheduling schemes resulted in comprehensive system electricity generation of 10.4132 million kW.h, 9.1727 million kW.h, 18.6214 million kW.h, and 18.4660 million kW.h, respectively.

RESUMO

Female Scylla olivacea has become more popular in Malaysia as emerging species mainly for soft-shell crabs and crab fattening (to increase weight, size and ovary maturation so that they can be sold at a higher price). To harvest crabs in soft-shell conditions and fattening, both conditions depend mostly on moulting events. To accelerate the moulting process, the manipulation of water parameter (salinity) and autotomy of the limb is commonly used. In this study, the evaluation of the moulting performances of full limb autotomy (the removal of all the appendages except for the swimming legs) and non-ablated (control) using immature S. olivacea cultured in three different salinity treatments (10 ppt, 20 ppt and 30 ppt) were performed. Results indicate there were significant differences between mud crab's culture duration, BW increments, growth performances and feeding efficiency with salinity. However, CW increments and survival indicate no significant effect with salinity. Meanwhile, limb autotomy proved to affect the culture duration, BW increments, survival and feeding efficiency of S. olivacea. The study concludes that both salinity and limb autotomy play significant roles in moulting performances of S. olivacea, with 20 ppt being the best salinity to stimulate S. olivacea moulting and development compared with the other two treatments (10 ppt and 30 ppt). Limb autotomy also indicates promising results as this technique proved to accelerate the moulting duration of S. olivacea with a 100% moulting percentage within 30 days. Therefore, the outcome would certainly benefit in the aquaculture production of this species of commercial importance mainly on soft-shell crabs production and also emerge as crabs fattening technique.

RESUMO

A rhodium-catalyzed one-pot access to valuable polycyclic frameworks of fluorenone-4-carboxylic acids and diphenic anhydrides via the oxidative dimeric cyclization of aromatic acids has been developed. This transformation proceeded via carboxyl-assisted 2-fold C-H activation followed by intramolecular Friedel-Crafts or dehydration reactions. The silver salt additive plays a vital role in the chemoselectivity of the products. Diphenic anhydride 3l exhibits a maximum fluorescence quantum yield of up to 59%.

RESUMO

Introduction: Tryptophan metabolism is strongly associated with immunosuppression and may influence lung adenocarcinoma prognosis as well as tumor microenvironment alterations. Methods: Sequencing datasets were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. Two different clusters were identified by consensus clustering, and prognostic models were established based on differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in the two clusters. We investigated differences in mutational landscapes, enrichment pathways, immune cell infiltration, and immunotherapy between high- and low-risk scoring groups. Single-cell sequencing data from Bischoff et al. were used to identify and quantify tryptophan metabolism, and model genes were comprehensively analyzed. Finally, PTTG1 was analyzed at the pan-cancer level by the pan-TCGA cohort. Results: Risk score was defined as an independent prognostic factor for lung adenocarcinoma and was effective in predicting immunotherapy response in patients with lung adenocarcinoma. PTTG1 is one of the key genes, and knockdown of PTTG1 in vitro decreases lung adenocarcinoma cell proliferation and migration and promotes apoptosis and down-regulation of tryptophan metabolism regulators in lung adenocarcinoma cells. Discussion: Our study revealed the pattern and molecular features of tryptophan metabolism in lung adenocarcinoma patients, established a model of tryptophan metabolism-associated lung adenocarcinoma prognosis, and explored the roles of PTTG1 in lung adenocarcinoma progression, EMT process, and tryptophan metabolism.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Cardiovascular disease remains one of the leading causes of death globally. Myocardial ischemia and infarction, in particular, frequently cause disturbances in cardiac electrical activity that can trigger ventricular arrhythmias. We aimed to investigate whether catestatin, an endogenous catecholamine-inhibiting peptide, ameliorates myocardial ischemia-induced ventricular arrhythmias in rats and the underlying ionic mechanisms. METHODS AND RESULTS: Adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into control and catestatin groups. Ventricular arrhythmias were induced by ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery and electrical stimulation. Action potential, transient outward potassium current, delayed rectifier potassium current, inward rectifying potassium current, and L-type calcium current (ICa-L) of rat ventricular myocytes were recorded using a patch-clamp technique. Catestatin notably reduced ventricular arrhythmia caused by myocardial ischemia/reperfusion and electrical stimulation of rats. In ventricular myocytes, catestatin markedly shortened the action potential duration of ventricular myocytes, which was counteracted by potassium channel antagonists TEACl and 4-AP, and ICa-L current channel agonist Bay K8644. In addition, catestatin significantly increased transient outward potassium current, delayed rectifier potassium current, and inward rectifying potassium current density in a concentration-dependent manner. Catestatin accelerated the activation and decelerated the inactivation of the transient outward potassium current channel. Furthermore, catestatin decreased ICa-L current density in a concentration-dependent manner. Catestatin also accelerated the inactivation of the ICa-L channel and slowed down the recovery of ICa-L from inactivation. CONCLUSIONS: Catestatin enhances the activity of transient outward potassium current, delayed rectifier potassium current, and inward rectifying potassium current, while suppressing the ICa-L in ventricular myocytes, leading to shortened action potential duration and ultimately reducing the ventricular arrhythmia in rats.

RESUMO

Photocatalytic carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction for high-value hydrocarbon fuel production is a promising strategy to tackle global energy demand and climate change. However, this technology faces formidable challenges, primarily stemming from low yield and poor selectivity of C2 products of the desired hydrocarbon fuels. This study reported ZnO/ZnCo2O4 Janus hollow nanofibers (ZnO/ZCO JHNFs) prepared by electrospinning and atomic layer deposition. Photocatalytic tests revealed an ethanol yield of 4.99 µmol g-1 h-1 for ZnO/ZnCo2O4 JHNFs, surpassing mixed ZnO/ZnCo2O4 nanofibers (ZnO/ZCO NFs) by 4.35 times and pure ZnO by 12.7 times. The selectivity of 58.8% is 2.38 and 4.49 times higher than those of ZnO/ZnCo2O4 NFs and ZnO, respectively. These enhancements are attributed to efficient carrier separation facilitated by the ordered internal electric field of the Z-scheme heterojunction interface, validated by the energy band evaluations from experimentation and density functional theory (DFT) simulations and charge separation characterizations of photocurrent, impedance, and photoluminescence spectra. The Janus structure also effectively exposes the surface of ZnCo2O4 to CO2 molecules, increasing the active site availability, as confirmed by BET nitrogen adsorption/desorption, temperature-programmed desorption tests, and DFT adsorption energy calculations. This study proposes a novel approach for efficient photocatalytic hydrocarbon fuel production, with potential applications in energy and climate crisis mitigation.

RESUMO

To reduce the harm of water contamination incidents in drinking water source areas (DWSAs) and explore feasible approaches, the research developed a hydrodynamic water quality model for DWSAs based on two dimensional water quality and quantity equations, Geographic Information System (GIS), and Digital Elevation Model (DEM). The Heshangshan Drinking Water Source Area (HDWSA) in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area (TGRA) was selected as the research area, with total phosphorus (TP) as the representative pollutant in the water. The research investigated the changes in TP content during various hydrological phase under pollution incident, compared the duration and trends of TP concentration exceeding standard value before and after joint reservoir group dispatch. The results showed that the migration speed of TP pollutants varied from slowest to fastest in the following order: dry phase, recession phase, storage phase, and flood phase. Under pollution incident condition, the time demanded for TP content to meet standard value in each water phase was 36 min (dry phase), 33 min (recession phase), 30 min (storage phase), and 27 min (flood phase). The joint dispatch group 1-3 shortened the time required to meet standard value by 6-13 min (dry phase), 5-11 min (recession phase), 4-9 min (storage phase), and 3-7 min (flood phase). The trend of TP concentration before and after joint dispatch showed four stages: significant increase, sharp decrease, rapid decrease, and slow decrease. Joint dispatch of reservoir group can effectively reduced the TP concentration in DWSA under pollution incident.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Plant polysaccharides have various biological activities. However, few studies have been conducted on the skin barrier of Prinsepia utilis Royle polysaccharide extract (PURP). MATERIALS AND METHODS: The proportions of polysaccharides, monosaccharides and proteins were determined by extracting polysaccharides from fruit meal using water. The healing rate was measured by cell scratch assays. SDS-damaged reconstructed human epidermal models, an acetone-ether-induced mouse model and an IL-4-induced cellular inflammation model were used to detect the effects of polysaccharides on the phenotype, HA, TEWL, and TEER, with further characterizations performed using QRT-PCR, Western blotting, immunofluorescence (IF) assays. RESULTS: PURP contained 35.73% polysaccharides and 11.1% proteins. PURP promoted cell migration and increased skin thickness in a reconstructed human epidermis model. The TEWL significantly decreased, and the HA content significantly increased. PURP significantly increased the TEER and decreased the permeability of the SDS-damaged reconstructed human epidermis model. Claudin-3, Claudin-4, and Claudin-5 were significantly upregulated. IF and Western blot analysis revealed that the Claudin-4 level significantly increased after treatment with PURP. Claudin-1, Claudin-3, Claudin-4, and Claudin-5 gene expression and IF and immunohistochemical staining were significantly increased in mice treated with acetone-ether. PURP promoted the expression of Claudin-1, Claudin-3, Claudin-4, and Claudin-5 after treatment with 100 ng/mL IL-4. PURP also downregulated the expression of NO, IL6, TNFα and NFκB in Raw 264.7 cells and in a mouse model. CONCLUSION: We hypothesize that PURP may repair the skin barrier by promoting the expression of the claudin family and can assist in skin therapy.

RESUMO

The development of a precise and comprehensive mindfulness measurement tool is a compelling area of research due to its lack at present. This study examines the utility of a multifactor mindfulness scale, particularly the Chinese version of the Comprehensive Inventory of Mindfulness Experiences (CHIME), among Chinese college students. Prior to formal testing, 410 subjects completed the CHIME-37, providing feedback for refinement. During formal assessment, 1,785 subjects participated, with 490 students retested after 2 months. The validity of the CHIME-37 was evaluated using various scales, including subjective well-being, psychological well-being, peace of mind, self-reflection, insight, emotion regulation, depression-anxiety-stress, and sickness questionnaire. In exploratory factor analysis of Sample 1 (n = 838), CHIME revealed 8 factors, explaining 70.696% of the variance. Confirmatory factor analysis in Sample 2 (n = 947) confirmed the 8-factor model's validity. Internal consistency coefficients ranged from 0.848 to 0.914, with test-retest reliabilities ranging from 0.746 to 0.885, and split-half reliabilities ranging from 0.795 to 0.898. Total and dimension scores correlated positively with subjective well-being, psychological well-being, emotion stability, and cognitive reappraisal (p < 0.01) but negatively with physical and mental illnesses, depression-anxiety-stress, and expressive inhibition (p < 0.01). The revised CHIME demonstrates robust reliability and validity, establishing it as a suitable tool for measuring the mindfulness levels of Chinese college students.

RESUMO

The efficient construction of π-conjugated polycyclic heteroarenes represents a significant task in the field of functional materials. A one-step oxidative tandem cyclization of aromatic acids with (benzo)thiophenes was developed to access planar sulfur-containing polycyclic heteroarenes. This protocol undergoes intermolecular cross-dehydrogenative coupling followed by intramolecular Friedel-Crafts acylation and provides a facile pathway to planar polycyclic compounds from inexpensive reactants. The synthesized heteroarenes serving as lipid-droplet-targeted probes exhibit outstanding performance with favorable biocompatibility and photostability.

RESUMO

Trichomes, specialized hair-like structures in the epidermal cells of the aboveground parts of plants, protect plants from pests and pathogens and produce valuable metabolites. Chrysanthemum morifolium, used in tea products, has ornamental and medicinal value. However, it is susceptible to Alternaria alternata fungal infection, posing a threat to its production and use, resulting in substantial economic losses. Increasing the density of glandular trichomes enhances disease resistance and improves the production of medicinal metabolites in chrysanthemums. Jasmonate (JA), promotes the formation of glandular trichomes in various plants. However, it remains unclear whether glandular trichome in chrysanthemums are regulated by JA. Grafting, a technique to improve plant resistance to biotic stresses, has been insufficiently explored in its impact on glandular trichomes, terpenoids, and disease resistance. In this study, we demonstrated that grafting with Artemisia vulgaris rootstocks improves the resistance of chrysanthemum scions to A. alternata. Heterografted chrysanthemums exhibited higher trichome density and terpenoid content compared to self-grafted counterparts. Transcriptome analysis highlighted the significant role of CmJAZ1-like in disease resistance in heterografted chrysanthemums. Overexpressing CmJAZ1-like lines exhibited sensitivity to A. alternate, characterized by reduced glandular trichome density and limited terpenoids. Conversely, silencing lines exhibited resistance to A. alternata showcasing increased glandular trichome density and abundant terpenoids. Higher JA content was confirmed in heterografted chrysanthemum scions compared to self-grafted ones. Furthermore, we established that JA promotes the development of glandular trichomes and the synthesis of terpenoids while inducing the degradation of CmJAZ1-like proteins in chrysanthemums. These findings suggest that higher JA increases trichome density and terpenoid content, enhancing resistance to A. alternata by regulating CmJAZ1-like in heterografted chrysanthemums.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Preventing emergence delirium is a clinical goal for pediatric anesthesia, yet there is no consensus on its prevention. This study investigated the hypothesis that a continuous infusion or a single bolus of remimazolam can reduce the incidence of emergence delirium in children. METHODS: A total of 120 children aged 1 to 6 yr were randomly and equally allocated into three groups: group RC, which received a continuous infusion of remimazolam at 1 mg · kg-1 · h-1; group RB, which received a single bolus of remimazolam at 0.2 mg · kg-1 at the beginning of wound closure; and group C, which received a continuous infusion of saline at 1 ml · kg-1 · h-1 and a single bolus of saline at 0.2 ml · kg-1 at the beginning of sutures. The primary outcome was the incidence of emergence delirium assessed by the Pediatric Anesthesia Emergence Delirium scale. Secondary outcomes included the number of rescue propofol administrations in the postanesthesia care unit, recovery time, and adverse events. RESULTS: Emergence delirium was observed in 14 of 40 (35%) patients in group C, 2 of 40 (5%) patients in group RC (vs. group C, P = 0.001; risk ratio, 95% CI: 0.14, 0.04 to 0.59), and 3 of 39 (7.7%) patients in group RB (vs. group C, P = 0.003; risk ratio, 95% CI: 0.22, 0.07 to 0.71). Ten of 40 patients in group C, 2 of 40 patients in group RC (vs. group C, P = 0.012; risk ratio, 95% CI: 0.20, 0.05 to 0.86), and 2 of 39 patients in group RB (vs. group C, P = 0.014; risk ratio, 95% CI: 0.21, 0.05 to 0.88) needed rescue propofol. No differences in the recovery time and adverse effects were detected. CONCLUSIONS: Both continuous infusion and single bolus administration of remimazolam can effectively reduce the occurrence of emergence delirium in children.

RESUMO

Introduction: Based on Social Identity Theory, this study hypothesized the parallel mediating roles of organizational commitment, and commitment to beneficiaries, in the relationship between relational job design and future volunteer intentions among episodic volunteers at a mega sport event. Perceived organizational support was tested as a moderator of this relationship. Methods: Participants were 617 episodic volunteers (35.7% male and 64.3% female) at the 7th CISM Military World Games in Wuhan, China, who completed online questionnaires. Results: Regression-based analyses indicated that relational job design positively predicted future volunteer intentions through organizational commitment. Although the results did not indicate a mediating role of commitment to beneficiaries, relational job design was still shown to positively predict commitment to beneficiaries. Furthermore, the association between relational job design and commitment to beneficiaries was moderated by perceived organizational support, such the effect was stronger when perceived organizational support was high. Discussion: The results have practical implications for strengthening episodic volunteers' intentions to participate in future mega sport events, creating a legacy of volunteerism.

RESUMO

With a rapidly growing sports industry worldwide, one may argue that sports industry agglomeration can play a crucial role in the economy of the sports industry. In particularly, the coupling linkage between sports industry agglomeration and economic resilience can be leveraged to promote both economic quality and efficiency. Based on data on three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta region during the 2011-2020 period, this study uses the entropy-weighted TOPSIS method, coupling coordination degree model, and relative development models to explore the coupling coordination relationship between sports industry agglomeration and economic resilience in this region. The results show that: (1) Sports industry agglomeration shows an overall increasing albeit fluctuating trend with inter-provincial differences. (2) Economic resilience has steadily increased, while the economic resilience kernel density curve generally shows a "dual peaks" trend. (3) The coupling coordination between sports industry agglomeration and economic resilience remains in a fluctuating, albeit coordinated state. These findings are relevant for the integration and high-quality development of the sports industry in the Yangtze River Delta region.

RESUMO

Ovarian development in animals is a complicated biological process, requiring the simultaneous coordination among various genes and pathways. To understand the dynamic changes and molecular regulatory mechanisms of ovarian development in mud crab (Scylla paramamosain), both histological observation and whole transcriptome sequencing of ovarian tissues at different mating stages were implemented in this study. The histological results revealed that ovarian development was delayed in unmated females (60 days after courtship behavior but not mating), who exhibited an oocyte diameter of 56.38 ± 15.17 µm. Conversely, mated females exhibited accelerated the ovarian maturation process, with females reaching ovarian stage III (proliferative stage) 23 days after mating and attained an average oocyte diameter of 132.19 ± 15.07 µm. Thus, mating process is essential in promoting the rapid ovarian development in mud crab. Based on the whole transcriptome sequencing analysis, a total of 518 mRNAs, 1502 lncRNAs, 18 circRNAs and 151 miRNAs were identified to be differentially expressed between ovarian tissues at different mating stages. Notably, six differentially expressed genes (DEGs) associated with ovarian development were identified, including ovary development-related protein, red pigment concentrating hormone receptor, G2/mitotic-specific cyclin-B3-like, lutropin-chorio gonadotropic hormone receptor, renin receptor, and SoxB2. More importantly, both DEGs and targets of differentially expressed non-coding RNAs (DEncRNAs) were enriched in renin-angiotensin system, TGF-ß signaling, cell adhesion molecules, MAPK signaling pathway, and ECM-receptor interaction, suggesting that these pathways may play significant roles in the ovarian development of mud crabs. Moreover, competition endogenous RNA (ceRNA) networks were constructed while mRNAs were differentially expressed between mating stages were involved in Gene Ontology (GO) biological processes such as developmental process, reproduction, and growth. These findings could provide solid foundations for the future development of female mud crab maturation enhancement strategy, and improve the understanding of the ovarian maturation process in crustaceans.

RESUMO

Purpose: Remimazolam, an ultra-short-acting and fast-metabolized sedative, has only been sporadically investigated in children. This study was performed to determine the beneficial effects of intranasal remimazolam or dexmedetomidine on preoperative anxiety in children undergoing general surgeries. Patients and Methods: Ninety children were randomly and equally assigned to Group R (intranasal remimazolam 1.5mg kg-1), Group D (intranasal dexmedetomidine 2 mcg kg-1), and Group C (intranasal distilled water). The primary outcomes were the preoperative anxiety scores using the modified Yale preoperative anxiety scale (m-Ypas). The secondary outcomes included the cooperation behaviour of intranasal drug application, preoperative sedation levels, parental separation anxiety scores (PSAS), and mask acceptance scores (MAS). Results: Group R showed a significant low anxiety at 10 min after intranasal premedication (vs group C, P=0.010; vs group D, P = 0.002) and at anaesthesia induction (vs group C, P = 0.004). Group D showed a significantly low anxiety score only prior to anaesthesia induction (vs group C, P = 0.005). Most children in group R achieved mild sedation at 10 min (vs group C, P < 0.001; vs group D, P < 0.001), with a few progressing to deep sedation afterwards, while group D tended toward deep sedation. Compared to Group C, patients in Group R performed significantly better on the MAS (P = 0.014) and PSAS (P = 0.008). However, remimazolam did cause poor cooperation behavior to the intranasal application due to its mucosal irritation (vs group C, P = 0.001; vs group D, P = 0.010). Conclusion: Both intranasal remimazolam and dexmedetomidine can effectively alleviate preoperative anxiety in children. While intranasal remimazolam has a rapid onset, it produces only mild sedation and causes substantial nasal irritation. Trial Registration: NCT04720963, January 22, 2021, ClinicalTrials.Gov.

RESUMO

Membrane-based enantioselective separation is a promising method for chiral resolution due to its low cost and high efficiency. However, scalable fabrication of chiral separation membranes displaying both high enantioselectivity and high flux of enantiomers is still a challenge. Here, the authors report the preparation of homochiral porous organic cage (Covalent cage 3 (CC3)-R)-based enantioselective thin-film-composite membranes using polyamide (PA) as the matrix, where fully organic and solvent-processable cage crystals have good compatibility with the polymer scaffold. The hierarchical CC3-R channels consist of chiral selective windows and inner cavities, leading to favorable chiral resolution and permeation of enantiomers; the CC3-R/PA composite membranes display an enantiomeric excess of 95.2% for R-(+)-limonene over S-(-)-limonene and a high flux of 99.9 mg h-1 m-2. This work sheds light on the use of homochiral porous organic cages for preparing enantioselective membranes and demonstrates a new route for the development of next-generation chiral separation membranes.

RESUMO

Objective: This research intends to explore how variations in the SMAD4 gene impact papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) among patients in China. Methods: The rs10502913 and rs12968012 polymorphisms were genotyped in 405 subjects using SNP-scan high-throughput technology. Differential mRNA expression of SMAD4 was analyzed using data from TCGA and GSE33630, and protein level expression differences were analyzed using immunohistochemistry. Results: The results showed that SMAD4 mRNA expression was lower in thyroid cancer (THCA) tissues than in normal tissues. Immunohistochemical results showed that the expression level of SMAD4 in normal tissue, thyroid papillary carcinoma tissue and poorly differentiated tissue was significantly different. We found that SMAD4 mismatch variants (rs10502913 and rs12968012) were associated with PTC susceptibility. Specifically, the SMAD4-rs10502913 genotypes (GA and AA) showed a notable correlation with a lower likelihood of PTC in comprehensive and segmented studies (genotype GA: OR (95% CI) = 0.270 (0.077-0.950), p = 0.041; genotype AA: OR (95% CI) = 0.103 (0.025-0.416), p = 0.001). We categorized the immunohistochemical results according to genotype and found that rs10502913-GG protein level was expressed at the lowest level, and both GA and AA were higher than GG (GG vs. AA, P < 0.05), and rs12968012-CG protein level was expressed at the lowest level, and both GG and CC were higher than CG (GG vs. CG, P < 0.01). Conclusion: Two missense variants of SMAD4 (rs10502913 and rs12968012) are associated with reduced risk of papillary thyroid carcinoma, possibly by reducing protein expression leading to susceptibility to papillary thyroid carcinoma.

RESUMO

Nanosheet-based membranes have shown enormous potential for energy-efficient molecular transport and separation applications, but designing these membranes for specific separations remains a great challenge due to the lack of good understanding of fluid transport mechanisms in complex nanochannels. We synthesized reduced MXene/graphene hetero-channel membranes with sub-1-nm pores for experimental measurements and theoretical modeling of their structures and fluid transport rates. Our experiments showed that upon complete rejection of salt and organic dyes, these membranes with subnanometer channels exhibit remarkably high solvent fluxes, and their solvent transport behavior is very different from their homo-structured counterparts. We proposed a subcontinuum flow model that enables accurate prediction of solvent flux in sub-1-nm slit-pore membranes by building a direct relationship between the solvent molecule-channel wall interaction and flux from the confined physical properties of a liquid and the structural parameters of the membranes. This work provides a basis for the rational design of nanosheet-based membranes for advanced separation and emerging nanofluidics.
