RESUMO

PURPOSE: To evaluate the effect of urethane methacrylate precursor (UMP) on the enzymatic resistance of demineralized dentin (DD) matrices. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Experimental treatments containing 0 (control), 1, and 5 mmol/L UMP dissolved in an acetone (Ace) solution were formulated. Dentin matrix specimens were demineralized in vitro and immersed in the experimental treatments for 1 h. The treated specimens were then stored in 0.1 mg/mL collagenase solution for 24 h, after which their dry mass loss and hydroxyproline (HYP) release were assessed. The swelling ratios of specimens in each group were also evaluated. The interaction between UMP and the dentin matrix was observed using field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). Endogenous enzyme activity in dentin was evaluated using confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM). RESULTS: Compared with the other treatment groups, treatment with 1 mM and 5 mM UMP-Ace significantly decreased the dry mass loss, HYP release and swelling ratio of the DD matrix (p < 0.05). FE-SEM and CLSM observations showed that treatment with UMP-Ace protected the structure of the dentin matrix and decreased porosity within the dentin-collagen network. CONCLUSION: Treatment with 1 mM and 5 mM UMP-Ace protects DD matrix against collagenase degradation and may be clinically useful for improving the durability of the hybrid layer.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the expression of programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1) in circulating exosomes, and to define the role of exosomal PD-L1 in promoting immune escape mechanism during chronic hepatitis B infection (CHB) and related liver diseases. METHODS: The levels of PD-L1 expressed in exosomes were detected by ELISA. CD8+T cells were sorted and cytotoxicity test was assessed by flow cytometry. PD-L1 protein expression in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and normal adjacent tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry. RESULTS: Circulating exosomal PD-L1 levels were significantly higher in patients with CHB and HCC than in healthy controls (F =7.46, P=0.001). Levels of CD107a on CD8+T cells in patients with CHB receiving PD-L1 blocking antibody were significantly lower than in patients receiving isotype blocking antibody (t = 4.96, P < 0.01). Levels of TNF-α in cell culture supernatants of the PD-L1 blocking antibody group were significantly higher than in the isotype blocking antibody group (t =5.92, P < 0.01). Compared with patients receiving isotype blocking antibody, levels of CD107a on CD8+T cells significantly increased in patients with HCC receiving anti-PD-L1 antibody (t = 3.51, P<0.05). Compared with adjacent tissues, the levels of PD-L1 protein expression in HCC tissues were slightly higher; however, no significant difference between the two groups was observed. CONCLUSIONS: PD-L1 blockade in exosomes might promote the cytotoxic function of CD8+T cells and inhibit immune evasion during progression of HCC. Blocking PD-L1 in exosomes reduced the cytotoxic function of CD8+T cells in patients with CHB while enhancing the production of proinflammatory cytokines.

Background: A considerable controversy over performing thyroidectomy and central lymph node dissection in patients with papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC) remained. However, accurate prediction of central lymph node metastasis (CLNM) is crucial for surgical extent and proper management. The aim of this study was to develop and validate a practical nomogram for predicting CLNM in patients with PTMC. Methods: A total of 1,029 patients with PTMC who underwent thyroidectomy and central lymph node dissection at Tangdu Hospital (the Second Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University) and Xijing Hospital (the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University) were selected. Seven hundred and nine patients were assigned to the training set and 320 patients to the validation set. Data encompassing demographic characteristics, ultrasonography results, and biochemical indicators were obtained. Stepwise backward selection and multiple logistic regression were used to screen the variables and establish the nomogram. Concordance index (C-index), receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis, and decision curve analysis (DCA) were employed to evaluate the nomogram's distinguishability, accuracy, and clinical utility. Results: Young age, multifocality, bigger tumor, presence of microcalcification, aspect ratio (height divided by width) ≥1, loss of fatty hilum, high free thyroxine (FT4), and lower anti-thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) were significantly associated with CLNM. The nomogram showed strong predictive capacity, with a C-index and accuracy of 0.784 and 0.713 in the training set and 0.779 and 0.703 in the external validation set, respectively. DCA indicated that the nomogram demonstrated strong clinical applicability. Conclusions: We established a reliable, cost-effective, reproducible, and noninvasive nomogram for predicting CLNM in patients with PTMC. This tool could be a valuable guidance for deciding on management in PTMC.

The sequestration of CO2 in coal seams has become an effective way to curb greenhouse-gas emissions. Coal mechanics and permeability properties are key factors affecting the safe sequestration of CO2 in coal seams, and both are significantly affected by the CO2 injection pressure. In this study, triaxial compression-permeability tests were conducted on coal under varying CO2 and limited confining pressures using a measurement system to determine the coupled mechanical properties and adsorption permeability of coal. The effects of CO2 pressure on the mechanical properties and evolution of coal permeability were investigated. A three-dimensional statistical damage constitutive model of coal that considers CO2 adsorption damage was established. The results showed that the stress-strain curve of the coal was divided into four stages. During the first two stages, the amplitudes of the permeability changes were small, whereas at the peak stress point, a permeability "jump" phenomenon occurred, after which an increase in stress resulted in a slower amplitude increase in permeability. The CO2 pressure had an evident damage-deterioration effect on the mechanical properties of the coal samples, and the primary failure characteristic was shearing damage. The higher the CO2 pressure, the higher the degree of internal fragmentation and fracture network complexity of the coal body. During the triaxial compression-permeability experiment, the normalized permeability of the coal samples tended to increase slowly, followed by a rapid increase and back to a slow increase. However, with increasing CO2 pressure, the initial permeability of the coal samples decreased, whereas the normalized permeability increased sharply. The rationality and accuracy of the constitutive model were verified by comparing the established constitutive model and test stress-strain curves of the coal samples. The results of this study can provide theoretical references for CO2 geological storage and facilitate the selection of appropriate CO2 injection pressures.

The slow redox kinetics of lithium-sulfur batteries severely limit their application, and sulfur utilization can be effectively enhanced by designing different cathode sulfur host materials. Herein, we report the hollow porous nanofiber LaNi0.6Co0.4O3 as a bidirectional host material for lithium-sulfur batteries. After Co is substituted into LaNiO3, oxygen vacancies are generated to enhance the material conductivity and enrich the active sites of the material, and the electrochemical reaction rate can be further accelerated by the synergistic catalytic ability of Ni and Co elements in the B-site of the active site of LaNi0.6Co0.4O3. As illustrated by the kinetic test results, LaNi0.6Co0.4O3 effectively accelerated the interconversion of lithium polysulfides, and the nucleation of Li2S and the dissolution rate of Li2S were significantly enhanced, indicating that LaNi0.6Co0.4O3 accelerated the redox kinetics of the lithium-sulfur battery during the charging and discharging process. In the electrochemical performance test, the initial discharge specific capacity of S/LaNi0.6Co0.4O3 was 1140.4 mAh g-1 at 0.1 C, and it was able to release a discharge specific capacity of 584.2 mAh g-1 at a rate of 5 C. It also showed excellent cycling ability in the long cycle test, with a single-cycle capacity degradation rate of only 0.08%. Even under the harsh conditions of high loaded sulfur and low electrolyte dosage, S/LaNi0.6Co0.4O3 still delivers excellent specific capacity and excellent cycling capability. Therefore, this study provides an idea for the future development of bidirectional high-activity electrocatalysts for lithium-sulfur batteries.

BACKGROUND: Visceral pleural infiltration (VPI) has been identified as an important risk factor in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) for many decades. However, for patients who present with ground glass opacity (GGO), the prognostic value of VPI is still elusive. We aimed to investigate whether the VPI is a significant prognostic factor in surgically resected ≤3 cm stage I NSCLC who presented with GGO. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Patients with primary NSCLC who underwent surgical resection between December 2009 and December 2018 were collected. Stage I tumors that presented as GGO nodule with a tumor size of less than 3 cm were included and divided into two groups based on VPI status (positive and negative). Clinical, pathological, and prognostic data were prospectively collected and retrospectively reviewed. Inverse probability of treatment weighting (IPTW) was used to balance baseline characteristics. Overall survival (OS) and recurrence-free survival (RFS) were analyzed using the Cox proportional hazards model and Kaplan-Meier method. RESULTS: A total of 2043 patients were included in this study (VPIs were found in 196 patients). After IPTW weighting, all factors between the two groups were balanced. The median follow-up time was 67.3 months. According to the multivariable Cox models, the VPI was not a significant prognostic factor for OS (HR = 2.00, 95% CI, 0.96-4.17; P= 0.063), but was significant for RFS (HR =2.00, 95% CI, 1.12-3.55; P= 0.019). In subgroup analysis, we found VPI was significant for OS (HR=3.17, 95%CI: 1.09-9.26, P=0.035) and RFS (HR=4.07, 95%CI: 1.76-9.40, P=0.001) in patients with a tumor size >1 cm and a consolidation to tumor ratio (CTR) >50%. For patients with a tumor size ≤1 cm or a CTR ≤50%, the VPI was not significant. CONCLUSIONS: VPI may be a significant risk factor for GGOs in NSCLC patients with a tumor size >1 cm and a CTR >50%. Further prospective studies conducted across multi-centers with a larger sample size are needed.

Purpose: We aimed to report the latest and largest pooled analyses and evidence updates to assess the effectiveness of telemedicine interventions for self-management (DSM) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted using PubMed, Cochrane, Embase, and Web of Science in December 2023. We included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of adults (≥18 years of age) diagnosed with T2DM where the intervention was the application of telemedicine. The Cochrane Risk of Bias Assessment was used to evaluate quality. The study's main outcome indicators were glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and diabetes self-management (DSM) capacity. Results: A total of 17 eligible articles, comprising 20 studies and 1,456 patients (734 in the intervention group and 722 in the control group), were included in the evidence synthesis. The baseline characteristics of both groups were similar in all outcomes. Comprehensive analyses showed post-intervention decreases in HbA1c, 2-h postprandial glucose, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, increases in Diabetes Self- Care activities, DSM competencies based on dietary and medication adherence, and improvements in overall DSM scores, all of which were statistically significant. While no statistically significant differences were observed in body mass index, lipids, and other DSM dimensions. Based on subgroup analyses, app-based experimental interventions targeting under 60 years old populations in Asia and North America were found to be more effective and less heterogeneity in the short term (<6 months of intervention). Conclusion: Telemedicine interventions may assist patients with T2DM in enhancing their DSM and improving their HbA1c levels. Clinician can use various telemedicine interventions to enhance DSM in T2DM patients, considering local circumstances. Photosynthesis, essential for life on earth, sustains diverse processes by providing nutrition in plants and microorganisms. Especially, photosynthesis is increasingly applied in disease treatments, but its efficacy is substantially limited by the well-known low penetration depth of external light. Here, ultrasound-mediated photosynthesis is reported for enhanced sonodynamic tumor therapy using organic sonoafterglow (ultrasound-induced afterglow) nanoparticles combined with cyanobacteria, demonstrating the proof-of-concept sonosynthesis (sonoafterglow-induced photosynthesis) in cancer therapy. Chlorin e6, a typical small-molecule chlorine, is formulated into nanoparticles to stimulate cyanobacteria for sonosynthesis, which serves three roles, i.e., overcoming the tissue-penetration limitations of external light sources, reducing hypoxia, and acting as a sonosensitizer for in vivo tumor suppression. Furthermore, sonosynthetic oxygenation suppresses the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1α, leading to reduced stability of downstream SLC7A11 mRNA, which results in glutathione depletion and inactivation of glutathione peroxidase 4, thereby inducing ferroptosis of cancer cells. This study not only broadens the scope of microbial nanomedicine but also offers a distinct direction for sonosynthesis.

Oxidative damage, exacerbated by the excessive accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), profoundly inhibits both crop growth and yield. Herein, a biocompatible nanozyme, calcium hexacyanoferrate nanoparticles (CaHCF NPs), targeting ROS is developed, to mitigate oxidative damage and sequestrate heavy metal ions during plant growth. Uniquely, CaHCF NPs feature multifaced enzyme-like activities, involving superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), peroxidase (POD), glutathione peroxidase, thiol peroxidase, and ascorbate peroxidase, which enable them to neutralize excessive ROS. Furthermore, CaHCF NPs promote calcium-cadmium exchange process, diminishing the uptake of heavy metals. Importantly, 120 µg mL-1 of CaHCF NPs alleviate the inhibitory effects of hydrogen peroxide and cadmium chloride on Arabidopsis and tomato. The activities of SOD, POD, and CAT increase by 46.2%, 74.4%, and 48.3%, respectively, meanwhile the glutathione level rises by 72.4% in Arabidopsis under cadmium stress. Moreover, CaHCF NPs boost the expression of genes associated with antioxidation, heavy metal detoxification, nutrient transport, and stress resistance. These findings unveil the significant potential of nanoplatforms equipped with nanozymes in alleviating oxidative stress in plants, which not only regulate crop growth but also substantially ameliorate yield and quality, heralding a new era in agricultural nanotechnology.

Fiber optical tweezers (FOTs) provide a functionality for micro-/nanoparticle manipulation with a slim and flexible optical fiber setup. An added in situ spectroscopic functionality can achieve characterization of the trapped particle, potentially useful for endoscopic, in-vivo studies in an inherently heterogeneous environment if the applicator end is all-fiber-built. Here, we demonstrate all-fiber optical tweezers (a-FOTs) for the trapping and in situ spectral measurement of a single, cell-sized microparticle. The key to ensure the simultaneous bifunctionality is a high numerical aperture (NA) Fresnel lens fabricated by two-photon direct laser writing (DLW) corrected by grid-correction methods. We demonstrate trapping and time-resolved, in situ spectroscopy of a single upconversion particle (UCP), a common fluorescent biomarker in biophotonics. The system achieves a 0.5-s time resolution in the in situ spectral measurement of a trapped UCP. The all-fiber designed system preserves the advantages of flexibility and robustness of the fiber, potentially useful for in-vivo biomedical studies such as cell-to-cell interactions, pH and temperature detection, and nucleic acids detection.

Recent studies on co-transformation of the growth regulator, TaGRF4-GIF1 chimera (Growth Regulating Factor 4-GRF Interacting Factor 1), in cultivated wheat varieties (Triticum aestivum), showed improved regeneration efficiency, marking a significant breakthrough. Here, a simple and reproducible protocol using the GRF4-GIF1 chimera was established and tested in the medicinal orchid Dendrobium catenatum, a monocot orchid species. TaGRF4-GIF1 from T. aestivum and DcGRF4-GIF1 from D. catenatum were reconstructed, with the chimeras significantly enhancing the regeneration efficiency of D. catenatum through in planta transformation. Further, mutating the microRNA396 (miR396) target sites in TaGRF4 and DcGRF4 improved regeneration efficiency. The target mimicry version of miR396 (MIM396) not only boosted shoot regeneration but also enhanced plant growth. Our methods revealed a powerful tool for the enhanced regeneration and genetic transformation of D. catenatum.

The lncRNA NUTM2A-AS1 has been shown to be dysregulated in gastric cancer, while the roles in glioma is unclear. The aim of this study was to investigate the roles and potential mechanisms of lncRNA NUTM2A-AS1 in the proliferation and apoptosis of glioma cells. The StarBase software and dual luciferase reporter assay were used to identify the relationship between lncRNA NUTM2A-AS1 and miR-376a-3p, and miR-376a-3p and YAP1. The expression of lncRNA NUTM2A-AS1, miR-376a-3p, and YAP1 in human glioma cell lines was detected by qRT-PCR. MTT and flow cytometry were used to detect the effects of lncRNA NUTM2A-AS1 or miR-376a-3p on the proliferation and apoptosis of U251 and A172 cells, respectively. In addition, changes of Bax and Bcl-2 expression in glioma cells were further verified by western blotting and qRT-PCR. The results showed that the expression of lncRNA NUTM2A-AS1 was elevated in glioma cell lines, while miR-376a-3p was decreased. LncRNA NUTM2A-AS1 was negatively correlated with miR-376a-3p. Silencing of lncRNA NUTM2A-AS1 enhanced the levels of miR-376a-3p, leading to reduced cell proliferation and increased apoptosis in glioma cells. YAP1 was a direct target of miR-376a-3p, and it was negatively regulated by miR-376a-3p in U251 and A172 cells. Further mechanistic studies suggested that miR-376a-3p reduced glioma cell proliferation and increased apoptosis by inhibiting YAP1 expression. In addition, lncRNA NUTM2A-AS1 positively regulated of YAP1 expression in glioma cells. In conclusion, silencing of lncRNA NUTM2A-AS1 inhibited proliferation and induced apoptosis in human glioma cells via the miR-376a-3p/YAP1 axis.

Diffractive deep neural networks, known for their passivity, high scalability, and high efficiency, offer great potential in holographic imaging, target recognition, and object classification. However, previous endeavors have been hampered by spatial size and alignment. To address these issues, this study introduces a monolayer directional metasurface, aimed at reducing spatial constraints and mitigating alignment issues. Utilizing this methodology, we use MNIST datasets to train diffractive deep neural networks and realize digital classification, revealing that the metasurface can achieve excellent digital image classification results, and the classification accuracy of ideal phase mask plates and metasurface for phase-only modulation can reach 84.73% and 84.85%, respectively. Despite a certain loss of degrees of freedom compared to multi-layer phase mask plates, the single-layer metasurface is easier to fabricate and align, thereby improving spatial utilization efficiency.

For the complex structure of fibrous network materials, it is a challenge to analyze the network strength and deformation mechanism. Here, we identify a failure mode transition within the network material comprising brittle fibers and bonds, which is related to the strength ratio of the bond to the fiber. A failure criterion for this type of fibrous network is proposed to quantitatively characterize this transition between bond damage and fiber damage. Additionally, tensile experiments on carbon and ceramic fibrous network materials were conducted, and the experimental results show that the failure modes of these network materials satisfy the theoretical prediction. The relationship between the failure mode, the relative density of network and strength of the components is established based on finite element analysis of the 3D network model. The failure mode transforms from bond damage to fiber damage as increasing of bond strength. According to the transition of the failure modes in the brittle fibrous network, it is possible to tailor the mechanical properties of fibrous network material by balancing the competition between bond and fiber properties, which is significant for optimizing material design and engineering applications.

Plants exposed to incidences of excessive temperatures activate heat-stress responses to cope with the physiological challenge and stimulate long-term acclimation1,2. The mechanism that senses cellular temperature for inducing thermotolerance is still unclear3. Here we show that TWA1 is a temperature-sensing transcriptional co-regulator that is needed for basal and acquired thermotolerance in Arabidopsis thaliana. At elevated temperatures, TWA1 changes its conformation and allows physical interaction with JASMONATE-ASSOCIATED MYC-LIKE (JAM) transcription factors and TOPLESS (TPL) and TOPLESS-RELATED (TPR) proteins for repressor complex assembly. TWA1 is a predicted intrinsically disordered protein that has a key thermosensory role functioning through an amino-terminal highly variable region. At elevated temperatures, TWA1 accumulates in nuclear subdomains, and physical interactions with JAM2 and TPL appear to be restricted to these nuclear subdomains. The transcriptional upregulation of the heat shock transcription factor A2 (HSFA2) and heat shock proteins depended on TWA1, and TWA1 orthologues provided different temperature thresholds, consistent with the sensor function in early signalling of heat stress. The identification of the plant thermosensors offers a molecular tool for adjusting thermal acclimation responses of crops by breeding and biotechnology, and a sensitive temperature switch for thermogenetics.

Background: Food waste remains a major problem for the world and food security. Despite the fact that consumers are significant producers of food waste, little research attention has been paid to college students. The present study aimed to assess food waste and the influence factors among college students. Additionally, the goal was to improve college students' food waste attitudes and behaviors through labor education. Methods: Through an online questionnaire survey, 407 college students from three universities were asked about food waste; 27 students of them were randomly selected as the research object, and labor practice was carried out in groups in the student cafeteria. Mann-Whitney U test was performed to show food waste behavior of college students and logistical regression analysis was used to analyze the factors affecting food waste behavior. Results: The results indicated that the food waste is more serious among college students in East China, senior or female students, BMI plays a positive role in food waste among college students, while monthly consumption and peers waste play a negative role in food waste. After participating in the labor education, the students' views and practices toward their peer's food waste have improved. Conclusion: The implementation of labor education in college canteens is conducive to the establishment of a correct outlook on labor as well as saving consciousness among college students, and to the formation of a social consciousness of saving.

Few studies have reported the timing and amount of gestational weight gain (GWG) to prevent large-for-gestational-age (LGA) or small-for-gestational-age (SGA). This study aimed to evaluate the association of GWG velocity in each trimester with LGA or SGA based on data from the Taicang and Wuqiang cohort study (TAWS, n = 2008). We used a linear mixed model to evaluate the association of trimester-specific GWG velocity with birthweight categories and stratified by prepregnancy body mass index category and parity. For normal-weight pregnant women, mothers with LGA births had higher GWG velocities than mothers with appropriate-for-gestational-age (AGA) births in the first trimester (0.108 vs. 0.031 kg/week, p < 0.01), second trimester (0.755 vs. 0.631 kg/week, p < 0.01) and third trimester (0.664 vs. 0.594 kg/week, p < 0.01); in contrast, mothers with SGA births had lower GWG velocities than mothers with AGA births in the second trimester (0.528 vs. 0.631 kg/week, p < 0.01) and third trimester (0.541 vs. 0.594 kg/week, p < 0.01). For normal-weight pregnant women with AGA births, multiparous women had lower GWG velocities than primiparous women in the second (0.602 vs. 0.643 kg/week, p < 0.01) and third trimesters (0.553 vs. 0.606 kg/week, p < 0.01). Therefore, for normal-weight women, LGA prevention would begin in early pregnancy and continue until delivery and the second and third trimesters may be critical periods for preventing SGA; in addition, among normal-weight pregnant women with AGA births, multiparous women tend to have lower weight gain velocities than primiparous women.

Phytohormones are essential signaling molecules regulating various processes in growth, development, and stress responses. Genetic and molecular studies, especially using Arabidopsis thaliana (Arabidopsis), have discovered many important players involved in hormone perception, signal transduction, transport, and metabolism. Phytohormone signaling pathways are extensively interconnected with other endogenous and environmental stimuli. However, our knowledge of the huge and complex molecular network governed by a hormone remains limited. Here we report a global overview of downstream events of an abscisic acid (ABA) receptor, REGULATORY COMPONENTS OF ABA RECEPTOR (RCAR) 6 (also known as PYRABACTIN RESISTANCE 1 [PYR1]-LIKE [PYL] 12), by integrating phosphoproteomic, proteomic and metabolite profiles. Our data suggest that the RCAR6 overexpression constitutively decreases the protein levels of its coreceptors, namely clade A protein phosphatases of type 2C, and activates sucrose non-fermenting-1 (SNF1)-related protein kinase 1 (SnRK1) and SnRK2, the central regulators of energy and ABA signaling pathways. Furthermore, several enzymes in sugar metabolism were differentially phosphorylated and expressed in the RCAR6 line, and the metabolite profile revealed altered accumulations of several organic acids and amino acids. These results indicate that energy- and water-saving mechanisms mediated by the SnRK1 and SnRK2 kinases, respectively, are under the control of the ABA receptor-coreceptor complexes.

Transcription factors (TFs) engage in various cellular essential processes including differentiation, growth and migration. However, the master TF involved in distant metastasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) remains largely unclear. Here we show that KLF5 regulates actin remodeling to enhance NPC metastasis. We analyzed the msVIPER algorithm-generated transcriptional regulatory networks and identified KLF5 as a master TF of metastatic NPC linked to poor clinical outcomes. KLF5 regulates actin remodeling and lamellipodia formation to promote the metastasis of NPC cells in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, KLF5 preferentially occupies distal enhancer regions of ACTN4 to activate its transcription, whereby decoding the informative DNA sequences. ACTN4, extensively localized within actin cytoskeleton, facilitates dense and branched actin networks and lamellipodia formation at the cell leading edge, empowering cells to migrate faster. Collectively, our findings reveal that KLF5 controls robust transcription program of ACTN4 to modulate actin remodeling and augment cell motility which enhances NPC metastasis, and provide new potential biomarkers and therapeutic interventions for NPC.
