Abstract The habitus of the males of seven species of Blaberus that belong to the Blattaria collection of the La Plata Museum from Argentina (of which two are new occurrences for the country) are illustrated and are classified into the appropriate groups. Information on their collection sites, synonyms and updated geographic distribution is also provided. In total, 27 Blaberus specimens were studied and will be returned to the collection of the Entomology from the Museu de La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Resumo Os habitus dos machos de sete espécies de Blaberus que pertencem ao Museu de La Plata na Argentina (dos quais duas são novas ocorrências) são ilustrados e assinalados em grupos apropriados. Informação sobre seus locais de coleta, sinonímias e sua distribuição geográfica atual são também citadas. No total, 27 espécimens de Blaberus foram estudados e serão acondicionados à Divisão do Museu de La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Synopsis of the genus Nyctibora Burmeister, with description of two new species from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Ectobiidae, Nyctiborinae) / Sinopse do gênero Nyctibora Burmeister, com descrição de duas novas espécies do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil (Ectobiidae, Nyctiborinae)

Two new species of Nyctibora are described and considered similar to Nyctibora sericea. Coloration, morphology and genital pieces of males were analyzed. All the studied material shall be deposited in the Museu Nacional.

Duas espécies novas de Nyctibora são descritas, similares èNyctibora sericea. Dados sobre coloração, morfologia e peças genitais dos machos foram analisados. Todo o material estudado se encontra depositado no Museu Nacional.

Two new species of Blaberidae (Blattaria) collected in the Santa Lúcia Station, Espírito Santo State, Brazil.

This contribution presents two new species belonging to the genera Audreia (Shelford, 1910) and Epilampra Burmeister, 1838, subfamily Epilamprinae (Blattaria, Blaberidae). The Blaberidae include large and medium-bodied species with a high adaptive capacity. The new taxa were collected in Espírito Santo State and evaluated based on the analysis of subgenital and supranal plates and genital parts, by means of standard dissection techniques, by comparison with specimens of the corresponding genera deposited in the collection of the Museu Nacional and with published descriptions.
