RESUMO
In this study, an analysis of the skeletal and dental components of Class II, division I, malocclusion patients, of both sexes, with and or without orthodontic treatment, was established. Based on 4 angular (SNA, SNB, ANB and FMA) and 2 linear (Nperp-Pog and ENA-M) cephalometric measurements analysis, we arrived at the following conclusions: 1--No significant difference was found between cases treated with or without extraction; 2--Sexual dimorphism was observed only with the SNB and SNA measurements, in treated cases; 3--Significant difference was established in all measurements, with the exception of the SNB angle, between cases with or without orthodontic treatment.
