RESUMO

The problem of motor-evacuatory function disruption of the digestive tract is already discussed in the medical literature more than hundred years. However it is still subject of interest. Based on deep analysis of the latest researches this article gives a detailed overview of actual status of the problems related to diagnostics and treatment of this disease.

RESUMO

The article generalizes experiences with ultrasonic scanning of the chest in patients with subpleural parietal formations of the lungs of inflammatory and tumorous etiology. The technique of the investigation and criteria of the assessment of the pathological focus are described. The normal echoscopic picture of the chest was determined. The ultrasonic images of the abscesses were compared with those of the peripheral lung carcinoma. The echoscopic pictures typical of each disease were revealed.

RESUMO

Basic epidemiologic parameters in relation to extrapulmonary tuberculosis were analysed in 6 regions of West Siberia as well as the state of the material-technical base of extrapulmonary service in these areas. Despite a general reduction of the revealed incidence and morbidity of extrapulmonary tuberculosis, the true incidence persists at a high level with predominance of advanced forms of the process. One of the causes of this situation is insufficient material-technical support of extrapulmonary tuberculosis service in West Siberia.

RESUMO

The authors operated 1056 patients on "dry" heart under the conditions of hypothermia. The total lethality constituted 4.5%. Since 1970 they have been applying craniocerebral hypothermia method using the apparatus "Kholod-2F". Secondary failures of the interatrial septum and valve stenosis of the pulmonary artery in patients aged from 18 to 20 are the most common indications for operation. 450 and 248 patients, respectively, were operated upon; lethality was 3.7% and 4%. The 16 years' experience with the superficial hypothermia in the correction of congenital heart diseases has proved this method to be highly effective and economical one, allowing to obtain quite favourable results after a thorough preoperative diagnosis and strict selection of patients.

RESUMO

Blood rheology was studied in 92 patients with ischemic heart disease having cardiac rhythm disorders. The syndrome of high blood viscosity and increased blood platelets aggregation were observed in paroxysmal tachycardia. In patients suffering from myocardial infarction with arrhythmia there was noted higher blood viscosity and more intensive blood platelet aggregation than in atherosclerotic cardiosclerosis. Treatment of paroxysmal tachycardia by means of electric impulse and agents blocking beta-adrenergic receptors results in a decrease of blood viscosity, the blood platelets aggregation intensity being unchanged.
