In the rat, the activity of laryngeal adductor muscles, the crural diaphragm, and sympathetic vasomotor neurons is entrained to the post-inspiratory (post-I) phase of the respiratory cycle, a mechanism thought to enhance cardiorespiratory efficiency. The identity of the central neurons responsible for transmitting respiratory activity to these outputs remains unresolved. Here we explore the contribution of the Kölliker-Fuse/Parabrachial nuclei (KF-PBN) in the generation of post-I activity in vagal and sympathetic outputs under steady-state conditions and during acute hypoxemia, a condition that potently recruits post-I activity. In artificially ventilated, vagotomised and urethane-anesthetised rats, bilateral KF-PBN inhibition by microinjection of the GABAA receptor agonist isoguvacine evoked stereotypical responses on respiratory pattern, characterised by a reduction in phrenic nerve burst amplitude, a modest lengthening of inspiratory time, and an increase in breath-to-breath variability, while post-I vagal nerve activity was abolished and post-I sympathetic nerve activity diminished. During acute hypoxemia, KF-PBN inhibition attenuated tachypnoeic responses and completely abolished post-I vagal activity while preserving respiratory-sympathetic coupling. Furthermore, KF-PBN inhibition disrupted the decline in respiratory frequency that normally follows resumption of oxygenation. These findings suggest that the KF-PBN is a critical hub for the distribution of post-I activities to vagal and sympathetic outputs and is an important contributor to the dynamic adjustments to respiratory patterns that occur in response to acute hypoxia. While KF-PBN appears essential for post-I vagal activity, it only partially contributes to post-I sympathetic nerve activity, suggesting the contribution of multiple neural pathways to respiratory-sympathetic coupling.

Brain metastases are an uncommon yet life-limiting manifestation of prostate cancer. However, there is limited insight into the natural progression, therapeutics, and patient outcomes for prostate cancer once metastasized to the brain. This is a retrospective study of 461 patients with metastatic prostate cancer to the brain with a primary outcome of median overall survival (OS). The Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database was examined using Cox regression univariate and multivariable analyses, and a corresponding nomogram was developed. The median overall survival was 15 months. In the multivariable analysis, Hispanic patients had significantly increased OS (median OS 17 months, p = 0.005). Patients with tumor sizes greater than three centimeters exhibited significantly reduced OS (median OS 19 months, p = 0.014). Patients with additional metastases to the liver exhibited significantly reduced OS (median OS 3.5 months, p < 0.001). Increased survival was demonstrated in patients treated with chemotherapy or systemic treatment (median OS 19 months, p = 0.039), in addition to radiation and chemotherapy (median OS 25 months, p = 0.002). The nomogram had a C-index of 0.641. For patients with prostate metastases to the brain, median OS is influenced by race, tumor size, presence of additional metastases, and treatment. The lack of an association between traditional prostate cancer prognosis metrics, including Gleason and ISUP grading, and mortality highlights the need for individualized, metastasis-specific prognosis metrics. This prognostic nomogram for prostate metastases to the brain can be used to guide the management of affected patients.

Microporous glassy polymer membranes suffer from physical aging, which adversely affects their performance in the short time frame. We show that the aging propensity of a model microporous polymer, poly(1-trimethylsilyl-1-propyne) (PTMSP), can be effectively mitigated by blending with as little as 5 wt % porous polymer network (PPN) composed of triptycene and isatin. The aging behavior of these materials was monitored via N2 pure gas permeability measurements over the course of 3 weeks, showing a 14% decline in PTMSP blended with 5 wt % PPN vs a 41% decline in neat PTMSP. Noteworthy, PPNs are 2 orders of magnitude cheaper than the porous aromatic frameworks previously used to control PTMSP aging. A variety of experimental and computational techniques, such as Positron Annihilation Lifetime Spectroscopy (PALS), free volume measurements, cross-polarization/magic angle spinning (CP/MAS) 13C NMR, transport measurements and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations were used to uncover the molecular mechanisms leading to enhanced aging resistance. We show that partial PTMSP chain adsorption into the PPN porosity reduces the PTMSP local segmental mobility, leading to improved aging resistance. Permeability coefficients were broken into their elementary sorption and diffusion contributions, to elucidate the mechanism by which the reduced PTMSP local segmental mobility affects selectivity in gas separation applications. Finally, we demonstrate that in these systems, where both chemical and physical interactions take place, transport coefficients must be corrected for thermodynamic nonidealities to avoid erroneous interpretation of the results.

PURPOSE: To compare the incidence of ICU pharmacist interventions in intensive care unit recovery center (ICU-RC) in-person and virtual clinic visits. METHODS: This was a post hoc analysis of interventions implemented by ICU pharmacists among adult patients who were referred to 12 ICU-RCs across the United States and the United Kingdom between September 2019 and July 2021, as reported in a previously published study "An International, Multicenter Evaluation of Comprehensive Medication Management by Pharmacists in ICU Recovery Centers." That study included patients who received a comprehensive medication review by an ICU pharmacist. Medication-related interventions performed by an ICU pharmacist during ICU-RC in-person clinic visits were compared to those performed during virtual clinic visits. RESULTS: There were 507 patients referred to an ICU-RC, of whom 474 patients attended a clinic visit. Of those, 472 received a comprehensive medication review, with 313 patients attending in-person visits and 159 patients attending virtual visits. The incidence of medication-related interventions implemented was higher in the ICU-RC in-person clinic group compared to the virtual clinic group (86.5% vs 79.2%, P = 0.04). There was no difference in the median number of ICU pharmacist interventions per patient between the in-person and virtual clinic groups (2 vs 2, P = 0.13). An ICU admission diagnosis was an independent predictor of medication-related interventions among all patients. CONCLUSION: The incidence of ICU pharmacist interventions was higher at ICU-RC in-person clinic visits compared to virtual clinic visits. Pharmacists aid in meeting the complex pharmacologic challenges of post-intensive care syndrome in both settings.

The Soudan Underground Mine State Park, found in the Vermilion Iron Range in northern Minnesota, provides access to a ~ 2.7 billion-year-old banded iron formation. Exploratory boreholes drilled between 1958 and 1962 on the 27th level (713 m underground) of the mine intersect calcium and iron-rich brines that have recently been subject to metagenomic analysis and microbial enrichments. Using concentrated brine samples pumped from a borehole depth of up to 55 m, a novel Gram-positive bacterium was enriched under anaerobic, acetate-oxidizing, and Fe(III) citrate-reducing conditions. The isolated bacterium, designated strain MK1, is non-motile, rod-shaped, spore-forming, anaerobic, and mesophilic, with a growth range between 24°C and 30°C. The complete circular MK1 genome was found to be 3,720,236 bp and encodes 25 putative multiheme cytochromes, including homologs to inner membrane cytochromes in the Gram-negative bacterium Geobacter sulfurreducens and cytoplasmic membrane and periplasmic cytochromes in the Gram-positive bacterium Thermincola potens. However, MK1 does not encode homologs of the peptidoglycan (CwcA) and cell surface-associated (OcwA) multiheme cytochromes proposed to be required by T. potens to perform extracellular electron transfer. The 16S rRNA gene sequence of MK1 indicates that its closest related isolate is Desulfitibacter alkalitolerans strain sk.kt5 (91% sequence identity), which places MK1 in a novel genus within the Desulfitibacteraceae family and Moorellales order. Within the Moorellales order, only Calderihabitans maritimus strain KKC1 has been reported to reduce Fe(III), and only D. alkalitolerans can also grow in temperatures below 40°C. Thus, MK1 represents a novel species within a novel genus, for which we propose the name "Metallumcola ferriviriculae" strain MK1, and provides a unique opportunity to study a cytochrome-rich, mesophilic, Gram-positive, spore-forming Fe(III)-reducing bacterium.IMPORTANCEThe Soudan Underground Mine State Park gives access to understudied regions of the deep terrestrial subsurface that potentially predate the Great Oxidation Event. Studying organisms that have been relatively unperturbed by surface conditions for as long as 2.7 billion years may give us a window into ancient life before oxygen dominated the planet. Additionally, studying microbes from anoxic and iron-rich environments can help us better understand the requirements of life in analogous environments, such as on Mars. The isolation and characterization of "Metallumcola ferriviriculae" strain MK1 give us insights into a novel genus and species that is distinct both from its closest related isolates and from iron reducers characterized to date. "M. ferriviriculae" strain MK1 may also act as a model organism to study how the processes of sporulation and germination are affected by insoluble extracellular acceptors, as well as the impact of spores in the deep terrestrial biosphere.

Exome sequencing (ES) has emerged as an essential tool in the evaluation of neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) of unknown etiology. Genome sequencing (GS) offers advantages over ES due to improved detection of structural, copy number, repeat number and non-coding variants. However, GS is less commonly utilized due to higher cost and more intense analysis. Here, we present nine cases of pediatric NDD that were molecularly diagnosed with GS between 2017 and 2022, following non-diagnostic ES. All individuals presented with global developmental delay or regression. Other features present in our cohort included epilepsy, white matter abnormalities, brain malformation and dysmorphic features. Two cases were diagnosed on GS due to newly described gene-disease relationship or variant reclassification (MAPK8IP3, CHD3). Additional features missed on ES that were later detected on GS were: intermediate-size deletions in three cases who underwent ES that were not validated for CNV detection, pathogenic variants within the non-protein coding genes SNORD118 and RNU7-1, pathogenic variant within the promoter region of GJB1, and a coding pathogenic variant within BCAP31 which was not sufficiently covered on ES. GS following non-diagnostic ES led to the identification of pathogenic variants in this cohort of nine cases, four of which would not have been identified by reanalysis alone.

RFX7 encodes a transcription factor that is ubiquitously expressed and important for neural development. Haploinsufficiency of RFX7 is associated with intellectual disability, developmental delay, and diverse malformations of brain structures. Currently, there are only 16 clinically described individuals who have variants in RFX7. A recognizable pattern of malformation associated with mutation in RFX7 has not yet been uncovered. Here we describe the phenotypic presentation of two additional individuals who have novel de novo variants in RFX7. One of the individuals we describe is from an under-represented Afro-Caribbean population.

BACKGROUND: Children with neuromuscular disorders, such as cerebral palsy, frequently develop foot deformities, such as equinopronovalgus and equinosupovarus, leading to walking difficulties and discomfort. Traditional assessment methods, including clinical measures and radiographs, often fail to capture the dynamic nature of these deformities, resulting in suboptimal treatment. 3D gait analysis using multisegment foot models offers a more detailed understanding of these deformities. RESEARCH QUESTION: To determine whether the combination of multisegment foot models, multivariate functional principal component analysis, and k-means cluster analyses could identify distinct, clinically relevant foot types in a large pediatric cohort with cerebral palsy. METHODS: This was a retrospective analysis of 3D gait data from 197 patients with cerebral palsy collected using a multisegment foot model. Multivariate functional principal component analysis was used to reduce these data prior to using k-means clustering to identify foot posture clusters. Further analyses, including ANOVA and Fisher's Exact tests, were used to evaluate demographic, radiographic, and gait characteristics to explain the clinical relevance of each cluster. RESULTS: Analysis of kinematic data from 371 feet revealed six clinically significant clusters, with a low misclassification rate of 2 %. One-factor ANOVAs demonstrated significant differences across clusters for all MPCs, whereas no significant differences were noted in basic anthropometric variables. Significant variations were observed in radiographic and gait function variables, and a strong association between GMFCS levels and cluster categorization was identified. SIGNIFICANCE: The novel approach of integrating multivariate functional principal component analysis and k-means clustering identified a spectrum of foot deformities in children with CP, ranging from equinosupovarus to marked equinopronovalgus. This methodology provides an objective classification based on kinematic data and can facilitate improved diagnosis and treatment of cerebral palsy-related foot deformities.

Primary proteasomopathies have recently emerged as a new class of rare early-onset neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) caused by pathogenic variants in the PSMB1, PSMC1, PSMC3, or PSMD12 proteasome genes. Proteasomes are large multi-subunit protein complexes that maintain cellular protein homeostasis by clearing ubiquitin-tagged damaged, misfolded, or unnecessary proteins. In this study, we have identified PSMD11 as an additional proteasome gene in which pathogenic variation is associated with an NDD-causing proteasomopathy. PSMD11 loss-of-function variants caused early-onset syndromic intellectual disability and neurodevelopmental delay with recurrent obesity in 10 unrelated children. Our findings demonstrate that the cognitive impairment observed in these individuals could be recapitulated in Drosophila melanogaster with depletion of the PMSD11 ortholog Rpn6, which compromised reversal learning. Our investigations in subject samples further revealed that PSMD11 loss of function resulted in impaired 26S proteasome assembly and the acquisition of a persistent type I interferon (IFN) gene signature, mediated by the integrated stress response (ISR) protein kinase R (PKR). In summary, these data identify PSMD11 as an additional member of the growing family of genes associated with neurodevelopmental proteasomopathies and provide insights into proteasomal biology in human health.

In the most recent fifth edition of the World Health Organization Classification of Tumors of the Central Nervous System, astroblastoma has been defined by molecular rearrangements involving the MN1 gene, with common partners being BEND2 or CXXC5 . Accordingly, this tumor entity is now known as "astroblastoma, MN1 -altered." However, gliomas with EWSR1::BEND2 fusions, devoid of MN1 fusion alterations, have recently been shown to exhibit astroblastoma-like histomorphologic features and reside in a distinct epigenetic subgroup based on DNA methylation studies similar to high-grade neuroepithelial tumor with MN1 alteration, which includes astroblastoma, MN1 altered tumors. This new epigenetically distinct subtype of astroblastoma containing EWSR1::BEND2 fusions lacks the required MN1 alteration and, thus, does not satisfy the current molecular classification of these lesions. Here, we describe a case of glioma with histologic features and DNA methylation profiling consistent with astroblastoma with a novel YAP1: : BEND2 fusion. This case and others further expand the molecular findings observable in astroblastoma-like tumors outside the constraints of MN1 alteration. Such cases of astroblastoma with EWSR1::BEND2 and YAP1::BEND2 fusions challenge the current molecular classification of astroblastoma based solely on an MN1 alteration.

Preventing the onset of autoimmune type 1 diabetes (T1D) is feasible through pharmacological interventions that target molecular stress-responsive mechanisms. Cellular stresses, such as nutrient deficiency, viral infection, or unfolded proteins, trigger the integrated stress response (ISR), which curtails protein synthesis by phosphorylating eukaryotic translation initiation factor-2α (eIF2α). In T1D, maladaptive unfolded protein response (UPR) in insulin-producing ß cells renders these cells susceptible to autoimmunity. We found that inhibition of the eIF2α kinase PKR-like ER kinase (PERK), a common component of the UPR and ISR, reversed the mRNA translation block in stressed human islets and delayed the onset of diabetes, reduced islet inflammation, and preserved ß cell mass in T1D-susceptible mice. Single-cell RNA-Seq of islets from PERK-inhibited mice showed reductions in the UPR and PERK signaling pathways and alterations in antigen-processing and presentation pathways in ß cells. Spatial proteomics of islets from these mice showed an increase in the immune checkpoint protein programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) in ß cells. Golgi membrane protein 1, whose levels increased following PERK inhibition in human islets and EndoC-ßH1 human ß cells, interacted with and stabilized PD-L1. Collectively, our studies show that PERK activity enhances ß cell immunogenicity and that inhibition of PERK may offer a strategy for preventing or delaying the development of T1D.

BACKGROUND: Religion/spirituality (R/S) is an important and commonly used resource for coping with difficult experiences and has been shown to reduce the development of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms following a trauma. However, it is not clear how R/S affects response to treatment of PTSD. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this paper was to understand how Veterans' R/S and sense of purpose were related to clinical outcomes when engaging in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) or Prolonged Exposure (PE). It was predicted that Veterans identifying as R/S would have a higher sense of purpose, be more likely to complete treatment, and have greater symptom change during treatment. METHOD: The study included 91 military Veterans from a VA Medical Center outpatient PTSD Clinical Team who initiated CPT or PE and responded to a question about the importance of R/S in their lives at intake. RESULTS: Forty nine percent of the Veterans in this sample reported R/S were important to them and had mixed feelings about whether their life had a clear sense of purpose. Neither R/S nor sense of purpose were associated with treatment completion or response to PTSD treatment. CONCLUSION: These findings suggest that once PTSD has developed, R/S or sense of purpose may not play a significant role in completion of or response to evidence-based psychotherapies (EBPs) for PTSD. EBPs for PTSD are equally effective for Veterans identifying as R/S and those who do not, which may be reflective of administering EBPs in a culturally responsive manner.

Background: Patients with rheumatic diseases are at a high risk of invasive pneumococcal disease due to immunosuppression. We conducted a quality improvement project, and the first aim was to increase the percentage of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and mixed connective tissue disease that is up to date on pneumococcal vaccinations from 9.6% to 80% within one year. Subsequently, the second aim was to increase the percentage of patients on immunosuppression with systemic lupus erythematosus, mixed connective tissue disease, juvenile dermatomyositis and systemic vasculitis that is up to date on pneumococcal vaccinations from 62.6% to 80% within one year. Methods: Two process measures were up-to-date vaccination status on (1) 13-valent pneumococcal conjugated vaccine (PCV13) and (2) 23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPSV23). Our outcome measure was being fully up to date on both pneumococcal vaccinations. Interventions included an immunization algorithm, reporting of eligible patients, education, reminders, and pre-visit planning. Results: There were shifts in the centerline for all quality measures in both phases of this project. The combined pneumococcal vaccination rate for Phase 1 increased from 9.6% to 91.1%, and this centerline was sustained. Pneumococcal vaccination rates also significantly increased for Phase 2: 68.8% to 93.4% for PCV13, 65.2% to 88.5% for PPSV23, and 62.6% to 86.5% for the combined pneumococcal vaccination rate. Conclusions: Quality improvement methodology significantly increased and sustained pneumococcal vaccination rates in our high-risk, immunosuppressed patients. We continue to prioritize this important initiative to mitigate the risk of invasive pneumococcal disease.

INTRODUCTION: Isometric hip strength seems to have limited association with frontal plane kinematics in individuals with patellofemoral pain (PFP), but little is known about the association with hip rate of torque development (RTD). OBJECTIVE: To explore the association of hip strength and RTD with trunk, pelvis, hip, and knee kinematics during a single-leg squat (SLS) in individuals with PFP. METHODS: Twenty individuals with PFP participated in this study. Hip abductor and extensor strength and RTD (early phase and late phase) were assessed using a hand-held dynamometer. Lateral trunk motion, pelvic drop, hip frontal plane projection angle (HFPPA), and knee frontal plane projection angle (KFPPA) were evaluated during a SLS using a two-dimensional motion analysis. RESULTS: Lower early and late phase hip abductor RTD were moderately associated with greater HFPPA (early phase: r = -0.501, p = .025; late phase: r = -0.580, p = .007) and KFPPA (early phase: r = -0.536, p = .015; late phase: r = -0.554, p = .011). Lower early phase hip extensor RTD was moderately associated with greater pelvic drop (r = 0.571, p = .009), HFPPA (r = -0.548, p = .012), and KFPPA (r = -0.530, p = .016). Hip abductor and extensor strength were not associated with any kinematic variables (p > .05). CONCLUSION: Lower hip RTD, but not strength, was associated with greater frontal plane kinematics during a SLS in individuals with PFP, indicating that the ability to produce torque rapidly may be important for kinematic control during functional tasks.

Human instructors fluidly communicate with hand gestures, head and body movements, and facial expressions, but robots rarely leverage these complementary cues. A minimally supervised social robot with such skills could help people exercise and learn new activities. Thus, we investigated how nonverbal feedback from a humanoid robot affects human behavior. Inspired by the education literature, we evaluated formative feedback (real-time corrections) and summative feedback (post-task scores) for three distinct tasks: positioning in the room, mimicking the robot's arm pose, and contacting the robot's hands. Twenty-eight adults completed seventy-five 30-s-long trials with no explicit instructions or experimenter help. Motion-capture data analysis shows that both formative and summative feedback from the robot significantly aided user performance. Additionally, formative feedback improved task understanding. These results show the power of nonverbal cues based on human movement and the utility of viewing feedback through formative and summative lenses.

INTRODUCTION: Individuals with obesity who smoke cigarettes have increased risk of morbidity and mortality. The goal of the current study was to inform the development of a multiple health behavior change intervention designed to facilitate smoking cessation while also targeting weight gain. METHODS: Four qualitative focus groups were conducted with individuals who smoked cigarettes and had overweight or obesity (n = 16) to explore the combined effects of smoking and obesity, past attempts to quit smoking or lose weight, and preferences for a combined health intervention. RESULTS: Focus groups converged on five themes including: the interactive effects of weight and smoking; lack of experience with evidence-based weight loss approaches; a desire and expectation to lose weight quickly; rapid weight gain during past attempts at smoking cessation; and interest in a multiple health behavior change intervention with weight management preceding smoking cessation and an emphasis on planning for the future and receiving encouragement and support. CONCLUSIONS: Groups provided insight into key topics to highlight in a combined intervention and key issues that have interfered with success in both domains.

Insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) facilitates mitotic and anabolic actions in all tissues. In skeletal muscle, IGF-I can promote growth and resolution of damage by promoting satellite cell proliferation and differentiation, suppressing inflammation, and enhancing fiber formation. While the most well-characterized form of IGF-I is the mature protein, alternative splicing and post-translational modification complexity lead to several additional forms of IGF-I. Previous studies showed muscle efficiently stores glycosylated pro-IGF-I. However, non-glycosylated forms display more efficient IGF-I receptor activation in vitro, suggesting that the removal of the glycosylated C terminus is a necessary step to enable increased activity. We employed CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing to ablate IGF-I glycosylation sites (2ND) or its cleavage site (3RA) in mice to determine the necessity of glycosylation or cleavage for IGF-I function in postnatal growth and during muscle regeneration. 3RA mice had the highest circulating and muscle IGF-I content, whereas 2ND mice had the lowest levels compared to wild-type mice. After weaning, 4-week-old 2ND mice exhibited higher body and skeletal muscle mass than other strains. However, by 16 weeks of age, muscle and body size differences disappeared. Even though 3RA mice had more IGF-I stored in muscle in homeostatic conditions, regeneration was delayed after cardiotoxin-induced injury, with prolonged necrosis most evident at 5 days post injury (dpi). In contrast, 2ND displayed improved regeneration with reduced necrosis, and greater fiber size and muscle mass at 11 and 21 dpi. Overall, these results demonstrate that while IGF-I glycosylation may be important for storage, cleavage is needed to enable IGF-I to be used for efficient activity in postnatal growth and following acute injury.

Introduction: Pennsylvania opened its first medical marijuana (MMJ) dispensary in 2018. Qualifying conditions include six conditions determined to have no or insufficient evidence to support or refute MMJ effectiveness. We conducted a study to describe MMJ dispensary access in Pennsylvania and to determine whether dispensary proximity was associated with MMJ certifications and community demographics. Methods: Using data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, we geocoded MMJ dispensary locations and linked them to US Census Bureau data. We created dispensary access measures from the population-weighted centroid of Zip Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs): distance to nearest dispensary and density of dispensaries within a 15-min drive. We evaluated associations between dispensary access and the proportion of adults who received MMJ certification and the proportion of certifications for low evidence conditions (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, epilepsy, glaucoma, Huntington's disease, opioid use disorder, and Parkinson's disease) using negative binomial modeling, adjusting for community features. To evaluate associations racial and ethnic composition of communities and distance to nearest dispensary, we used logistic regression to estimate the odds ratios (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI), adjusting for median income. Results: Distance and density of MMJ dispensaries were associated with the proportion of the ZCTA population certified and the proportion of certifications for insufficient evidence conditions. Compared to ZCTAs with no dispensary within 15 min, the proportion of adults certified increased by up to 31% and the proportion of certifications for insufficient evidence decreased by up to 22% for ZCTAs with two dispensaries. From 2018 to 2021, the odds of being within five miles of a dispensary was up to 20 times higher in ZCTAs with the highest proportions of individuals who were not White (2019: OR: 20.14, CI: 10.7-37.8) and more than double in ZCTAs with the highest proportion of Hispanic individuals (2018: OR: 2.81, CI: 1.51-5.24), compared to ZCTAs with the lowest proportions. Conclusions: Greater dispensary access was associated with the proportions of certified residents and certifications for low evidence conditions. Whether these patterns are due to differences in accessibility or demand is unknown. Associations between community demographics and dispensary proximity may indicate MMJ access differences.
