RESUMO

The possibility of the intestinal involvement in various forms of shock is discussed on the basis of literature data. The intestine is recognized as "a target- organ" in shock together with kidneys and lungs. Microcirculatory disturbances in the intestinal wall result in the decrease of the intestinal epithelium protective function with the development of endotoxemia and aggravation of shock. The consequence of these disturbances is the development of hemorrhages, acute ulcers or large foci of mucous membrane necrosis: clinically this is manifested in intestinal hemorrhages, abdominal pains and dynamic ileus.

RESUMO

The authors report the experience in training clinical anatomists gained at the Chair of General Clinical Pathology (Pathoanatomy) in the Novokuznetsk Institute for Advanced Medical Training. Altogether 366 specialists in clinical pathology have been trained for the 10-year period (1976-1985). Problems of composing the curricula for the training cycles and their contents are discussed. The significance of such institutes for advanced training of those who specialize in pathoanatomy is emphasized.

RESUMO

The method of histoautoradiography was used to study dynamics of indices of impulse and diluted marks in 2 cellular subpopulations of the kidney cortex: in the intertubular cells (IT-cells) and in the endothelium-like cells (E-cells) of the convoluted tubules. It is shown that under conditions of pathology (sublimate nephrosis) a part of IT-cells transforms into E-cells. A conclusion is made that IT-cells may be considered predecessor cells of the nephrothelium.

RESUMO

An autopsy observation of alveolar soft tissue sarcoma of the left hip muscles in a man of 66 is described. Predominantly lymphogenic metastasizing of the alveolar sarcoma was observed and two hypes of tumour cells, "dark" and "light" were distinguished. PAS-positive substances, lipids and mucus were found in the cytoplasm of the "light" cells. Histogenetically, the alveolar soft tissue sarcoma is assumed to be close to striated muscles.

RESUMO

A section observation of a massive keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma of the kidney in a man of 76 is described. The cancer had no connection with the pelvis. It is presumed that the source of the carcinoma development was the metaplasied epithelium of the collecting tubes.

RESUMO

In 18 section observations of the myorenal syndrome (grave trauma, crash-syndrome, nontraumatic mascular ischemia) in skeletal muscles and the kidneys were investigated. In the skeletal muscles necrobiosis, necrosis with subsequent lysis or calcification of their sarcoplasm, edema of the intermuscular layers with subsequent multiplication of the stroma cells were noted. The kidneys revealed changes typical of a grave acute renal insufficiency. Ischemia of the cortex with atelectasis of glomerular capillaries and their increased permeability were evident. In the proximal tubules there were detected dystrophic changes of the type of granular degeneration and pronounced edema, these changes showing no tendency to reverse development and precluding regeneration of the epithelium. Acute renal insufficiency is closely connected with deep cortical blood flow reduction, the latter acting like a trigger.

RESUMO

The intertubular cells (ITC) of the cortex of the human kidney (from the fetus, newborns, children aged from 1 to 5 years, adults aged from 30 to 70) were studied. The ITC in the kidneys with an undeveloped structure (fetus, newborns) amounted 21.4--12.6% of the epithelial cells of the convoluted tubules and for children over one year and adults--7.6%. When the kidney was affected by nephrotoxic poison (ethylene-glycol) and deep hypoxia and ITC were activated, began to multiply and made up 14.5% of the epithelium of the convoluted tubules. It is suggested that the ITC represented a peculiar cambium of the renal tubules which formed due to the transferring of a part of the cells of the metaneophrogenic tissue into position of rest (R-period).
