RESUMO

This study aimed to examine the differences in physical activity (PA) level, fundamental movement skill (FMS), and obesity-related factors in preschoolers. A cross-sectional study was conducted in 426 preschool children aged 3-5 years. Participants were assigned to the low PA group (LPAG), moderate PA group (MPAG), and high PA group (HPAG) according to the total score obtained in the PA questionnaire for young children. FMS and obesity-related factors were also analyzed. PA was compared by age and sex, and FMS and obesity-related factors were compared between groups. Significant differences were found according to sex. Boys were more active than girls in the 3-4 years age group, but no significant differences were observed at the age of 5 years. LPAG showed lower FMS than MPAG and HPAG, although this was not statistically significant. However, body mass index (BMI), BMI z-score, body fat, and muscle mass showed significant differences in terms of PA levels. Consideration of age and sex is crucial in promoting PA among preschoolers. Additionally, better obesity-related factors are associated with higher PA levels, and FMS may be a useful tool in evaluating health and fitness.

By combining virtual reality, the digital twin system has been deeply applied in many places. Especially with the upsurge of national sports and more attention to sports, people have also begun a more in-depth study on the strategy of sports training. This paper aims to explore the application of the Brazilian jujitsu training strategy and interactive control method in the new era. Based on the sports skills of Brazilian jujitsu, combined with digital twin technology and wireless sensor network technology, this paper develops a sports training system based on Brazilian jujitsu. It can collect the action information of the trainer and twin it into the simulation system so as to carry out better and more effective confrontation training. The experimental results show that the average delay time is 5.2 ms and the maximum delay time is 6.5 ms, which is less than the limit delay time of 20 ms. Compared with the control group, it achieved quite good results. It shows the effectiveness of the system designed in this paper for trick jujitsu training.

Ti6Al4V alloy has been considered as a key component used in ultrasonic scalpels. In this series of papers, the fabrication, structure, and mechanical and ultrasonic properties of medical Ti6Al4V alloys suitable for ultrasonic scalpel are studied systemically. These alloys with low elastic modulus and present a typical bimodal microstructure with relatively high ß phase content (~40%) and lamellar α thickness of ≤ 0.9 µm. In the first paper, the relationship between the microstructure and mechanical properties of hot-rolled Ti6Al4V alloys treated by heating treatment is discussed. In the second paper, the dependence of the ultrasonic properties on the microstructure of the heat-treated Ti6Al4V alloys is reported. With increasing solid solution temperature, the content and size of the primary α phase decrease. In contrast, the content and size of the lamellar α phase increase. Additionally, the ß phase content first increases and then decreases. The microstructure of Ti6Al4V alloys could be slightly changed by aging treatment. When the solid solution treatment temperature increases to 980 °C from 960 °C, the average size of the lamellar α phase in the alloys increases by 1.1 µm. This results in a decrease in the average yield strength (93 MPa). The elastic modulus of alloys is mainly controlled by the ß phase content. The microstructure of alloys by solution-treatment at 960 °C shows the highest ß phase content and lowest average elastic modulus of 99.69 GPa, resulting in the minimum resonant frequency (55.06 kHz) and the highest average amplitude (21.48 µm) of the alloys at the length of 41.25 mm.

In this study, the ultrasonic resonance parameters of Ti6Al4V alloys under different heat treatments are measured by an impedance analyzer. The amplitude of the specimens is measured experimentally by means of optical microscope and image analysis software. These results show that the ultrasonic properties of Ti6Al4V alloys are closely related to ß phase content and elastic modulus of the alloys. The highest volume fraction of the ß phase appears in the specimen treated by solid solution treatment at 960 °C is 40.2%. These alloys present the lowest average elastic modulus (~99.69 GPa) and the minimum resonant frequency (55.06 kHz) and the highest average amplitude (21.48 µm) when the testing sample length is 41.25 mm. These findings can be used to guide the design of medical Ti6Al4V alloys for ultrasonic scalpels.

RESUMO

Recent advances in convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have shown impressive results in semantic segmentation. Among the successful CNN-based methods, U-Net has achieved exciting performance. In this paper, we proposed a novel network architecture based on U-Net and atrous spatial pyramid pooling (ASPP) to deal with the road extraction task in the remote sensing field. On the one hand, U-Net structure can effectively extract valuable features; on the other hand, ASPP is able to utilize multiscale context information in remote sensing images. Compared to the baseline, this proposed model has improved the pixelwise mean Intersection over Union (mIoU) of 3 points. Experimental results show that the proposed network architecture can deal with different types of road surface extraction tasks under various terrains in Yinchuan city, solve the road connectivity problem to some extent, and has certain tolerance to shadows and occlusion.

For spatially controlling cell alignment, near field electrospinning (NFES) was developed to direct-write alginate fiber patterns. Compared to randomly electrospun fibers, NFES fibers guided the extension of HEK 293T cells and the levels of cell alignment increased with decreasing fiber distances. However, these guiding fibers were unfavorable for cell adhesion and limited cell growth. To preserve cell alignment ability and improve biocompatibility, the stability of patterned alginate fibers was adjusted by regulating the level of ion crosslinking. These partially crosslinked NFES fibers demonstrated parallel line-patterns in the initial stage while gradually degraded with time. The reduction of fiber density increased the available area for cell growth and enhanced cell viability. On the other hand, aligned cells were still found on these degraded patterns, suggesting that cell morphologies were mainly guided during cell seeding. This dynamically controlled fiber pattern system fulfilled the need of controlling cell orientation and biocompatibility, thus was potential to modify scaffold surfaces for tissue engineering application.
