RESUMO

In this study, Polycaprolactone (PCL)/Yam Polysaccharide (YP) fiber membranes loaded the ultrasound-mediated assembly of 2-Hydroxypropyl-ß-cyclodextrin (HP-ß-CD)/Epicatechin gallate (ECG) inclusion complexes were prepared by electrospinning technology for food packaging. Morphology, infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction results showed that the inclusion complexes were successfully assembled. With the addition of inclusion complexes, the average diameter of the fibers increased from 2480.96 to 10179.12 nm, the crystallinity decreased, the thermal stability improved, the hydrophilicity enhanced, and the water vapor permeability enhanced. Meanwhile, thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry results showed that the inclusion complexes formed hydrogen bonds between the fibers, which improved the thermal stability, but the mechanical behavior suffered a certain loss. In addition, the fiber membrane could continuously release ECG within 240 h, which showed excellent antibacterial effects both in vitro and in vivo. These results indicated that the fiber film developed based on electrospinning had a broad application prospect in food packaging.

RESUMO

In this study, a NIR fluorescent probe based on ICT principles was developed for the detection of phenylthiophenol. An excellent fluorescent mother nucleus is constructed with tricyano groups, and benzenesulfonate was introduced as a specific recognition site for thiophene, which can be used for rapid detection of thiophenol. The probe has a significant Stokes shift (220 nm). Meanwhile, it had rapid response to thiophene and high specificity. The fluorescence intensity of the probe at 700 nm showed a good linear relationship with thiophene concentration in the range of 0 to 100 µM, and the detection limit was as low as 45 nM. The probe had also been successfully applied to the detection of thiophene in real water samples. MTT assay showed low cytotoxicity and excellent fluorescence imaging in live cells.

This article reports a new type of dicyanisophorone-based near-infrared fluorescent probe for the rapid detection of mercaptophenol by introducing 2,4-dinitrobenzene sulfonate group as a specific recognition group for thiophenol. The probe has a significant large Stokes shift (185 nm). At the same time, it exhibits rapid response, high selectivity and high sensitivity to thiophene. In addition, the fluorescence of the probe at 650 nm has a good linear relationship with the concentration of thiophenol in the range of 0-100 µM, and the detection limit is as low as 65 nM. The probe has been successfully applied to the detection of thiophenol in actual water samples, and has good live cell imaging effects, and at the same time shows the superiority of its low cell toxicity.

Based on the principle of FRET, we have developed a ratiometric and colorimetric fluorescent probe TFBN, which can specifically recognize SO2 derivatives (SO32-/HSO3-), and exhibit a transition from red to green fluorescence under 405 nm excitation. The probe TFBN owns the advantages of short response time (<3 min), quantitative detection SO2 derivatives in two linear ranges, extremely low detection limit (39 nM), large Stokes shift (239 nm) and wide emission window gap (140 nm). In addition, the NBC structure was used as a fluorescent donor for FRET probes for the first time, which expanded the diversity of donors. Importantly, with low toxicity and good biocompatibility, the probe TFBN successfully detects exogenous and endogenous sulfites in living cells. These characteristics endow the probe TFBN can be successfully used in living cells and mouse imaging.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the value of emergency hysterectomy on arresting severe postpartum hemorrhage. METHODS: A retrospective analysis was performed on 10 cases of hysterectomy by reason of postpartum hemorrhage between Jan 1990 and Dec 2000. RESULTS: All the patients were severe postpartum hemorrhage that couldn't be controlled by conservative treatment. Among them, there were 5 cases of DIC, 2 cases of placental adherence, 1 case each of uterine atony, uterine rupture and infection of uterine incision. Blood loss averaged 2,427 ml. All the 10 patients were recovered. Emergency hysterectomy was related to times of gestation and delivery and also to delivery pattern. CONCLUSION: Emergency hysterectomy is one of the effective methods on arresting severe postpartum hemorrhage.
