Objective: To examine the efficacy of robot-assisted laparoscopic modified ventral onlay lingual mucosal graft for complex ureteral stricture. Methods: The clinical data of 8 patients with ureteral stricture admitted to the Department of Urology, General Hospital of Southern Theater Command from May to October 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 6 males and 2 females, aged (45.1±10.2) years (range: 34 to 64 years), body mass index (24.6±2.0) kg/m2 (range: 20.7 to 26.6 kg/m2). Five cases on the left side, 3 cases on the right side, the length of the ureteral structure was (3.1±0.7) cm (range: 2.2 to 4.5 cm). The value of preoperative serum creatinine was (113.8±22.3) µmol/L (range: 96 to 15 µmol/L). Before excising the structure segment, the titched anastomosed part of the dorsal wall of the ureter, and then the posteriorly augmented anastomotic, the remaining ventral side was augmented with a onlay lingual mucosa graft, then the omentum flap was used to wrap the reconstructed ureteral segment. The lingual mucosa graft with a length of 2.5 to 5.0 cm and a width of 1.0 to 1.5 cm was cut according to the actual structure. The surgery information of the patient, complications, and recent follow-up were recorded. Results: The operation under robot-assisted laparoscopy was performed successfully in the 8 patients without conversion to open surgery. The duration of the operation was (226.9±22.8) minutes (range: 210 to 255 minutes), estimated blood loss was (93.8±25.9) ml (range: 75 to 150 ml), the retention time of the postoperative drainage tube was (4.8±1.3) days (range: 3 to 7 days), and the duration of postoperative hospitalization was (11.1±3.6) days (range: 9 to 14 days). One week after the operation, the patient could pronounce correctly, enunciate clearly, and eat normally. Double J tubes were removed 4 to 8 weeks after the operation. The follow-up time in this group was 3 to 9 months, the follow-up patients underwent imaging and other examinations, which showed a significant improvement in hydronephrosis on the affected side, and the value of renal pelvic separation on the affected side was (1.4±0.8) cm (range: 0 to 2.3 cm). The serum creatinine value was (100.1±24.9) µmol/L (range: 76 to 155 µmol/L). Three months after the operation, the ureteroscopy showed that the ureter was smooth and the mucosa was normal. Conclusions: Robot-assisted laparoscopic ureteroplasty with a lingual mucosal graft is a safe and feasible operation for complex ureteral stricture without serious complications, which provides a surgical option for repairing ureteral stricture.

OBJECTIVE: Several studies demonstrated that aberrant lncRNA expression contributes to cervical cancer (CC) development and progression. LINC00152, a novel lncRNA, has been identified as an oncogene involved in various cancers. In the present study, we aim to investigate the expression pattern, clinical significance, potential functional roles, and regulatory mechanism of LINC00152 in CC. PATIENTS AND METHODS: The transcription levels of LINC00152, miR-216b-5p, and HOXA1 in CC tissues and cell lines were detected by quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR). LINC00152 knockdown in CC cells was conducted by transfecting the LINC00152-specific siRNA. The cell proliferation ability was evaluated by the Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay. Cell cycle and apoptosis analysis were assessed by flow cytometry. The target relation among LINC00152, miR-216b-5p, and HOXA1 were measured using the dual-luciferase reporter assay. The protein levels of HOXA1 in CC cells were determined by Western blot. RESULTS: LINC00152 was up-regulated in CC tissues and cell lines. The high expression level of LINC00152 was positively correlated with poor prognosis and histologic grade in CC. The silence of LINC00152 could inhibit the proliferation of CC cells through inducing the cell cycle arrest at G0/G1 phase and promote apoptosis in vitro. Mechanically, we demonstrated that LINC00152 could modulate the proliferation of CC cells through elevating HOXA1 expression level via sponging miR-216b-5p based on bioinformatics analysis and experimental validation. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings revealed a novel molecular mechanism underlying LINC00152 modulating CC progression through the miR-216b-5p/HOXA1 pathway, suggesting that LINC00152 might potentially act as an effective diagnostic marker and therapeutic target for cervical cancer.

Objective: To investigate the incidence of occupational diseases in a District of Beijing, from 2004 to 2017 and to analyze the distribution characteristics and incidence trends of occupational diseases. Methods: The data of confirmed occupational disease cases data in the occupational disease and occupational health information monitoring system in a district of Beijing from 2004~2017 were collected to analyze the incidence and trends of occupational diseases. Results: In 2004~2017, a total of 161cases of occupational diseases were reported in a district of Beijing, mainly pneumoconiosis (113 cases, 70.19%) . The average age of onset of pneumoconiosis was (51.65 ±11.10) years old, and the average age of dust exposure was (13.14±8.07) years, mainly including silicosis accounting for 85.84%, concentrated in small collective enterprises. Pneumoconiosis was mainly female, with 80 cases accounting for 70.80% of the disease; most of the working years were 10-20 years, the age of onset of dust pneumoconiosis and the duration of dust exposure were statistically different (P<0.05) ; The distribution of pneumoconiosis industry was concentrated on the manufacture of jewellery and related articles in 91cases (80.53%) , Compared with the non-jewellery and related articles manufacturing industry, the average age of onset were statistically significant (P<0.05) . Occupational diseases other than pneumoconiosis were mainly male; occupational ear, nose and throat (ENT) and oral disease male accounted for 86.96% of the disease, mainly concentrated in small enterprises, state-owned enterprises, the majority of working years wereconcentrated in 20~30 years; occupational infectious diseases accountded for 93.33% of the disease, mainly concentrated in small collective enterprises, most of the working years were less than 10 years. Conclusion: Occupational diseases in a district of Beijing are mainly pneumoconiosis, mainly in small collective enterprises, mostly historical issues, the number of reports of occupational ENT and oral disease and occupational infectious diseases are increasing, it is important to strengthen supervision and protect the health of workers.

A total of 109 in patients with crayfish-related rhabdomyolysis were enrolled in our hospital from July to August 2016,including 31.2%(34/109)males and 68.8% (75/109)females.The number of home-cooked crayfish accounted for 60.6% (66/109). Main symptom was back pain 96.3% (105/109). The misdiagnosis rate was 15.6% (17/109). On day 1, 2, 3 after admission and the day before discharge,serum creatine kinase were 1 175(446, 2 258)IU/L,3 710(2 137, 8 875)IU/L,1 899(1 063, 4 595)IU/L and 317(152, 532)IU/L,respectively(P<0.001).Serum myoglobin were (603±484)µg/L,(313±284)µg/L,(104±74)µg/L and (55±20)µg/L,respectively(F=39.1, P<0.001).Females were more susceptible to crayfish-related rhabdomyolysis. Home-cooked crayfish is prone to induce rhabdomyolysis and easily to be misdiagnosed. Creatine kinase and myoglobin showed characteristic dynamic changes.

In order to expand the use of ZnO in advanced display and lighting device applications, such as distinguishable emissive flat panel displays and liquid crystal display backlights, Eu³âº/Dy³âº-codoped ZnO nanocrystals were synthesized using a low temperature wet chemical doping technique and chemical surface modification. X-ray diffraction patterns revealed that co-doping Eu³âº and Dy³âº does not change the wurtzite structure of ZnO. A high-resolution TEM image showing obvious lattice fringes confirmed the high crystallinity of the nanosized sample. The luminescence and dynam- ics of Eu³âº/Dy³âº-codoped ZnO nanocrystals of various doping concentrations were studied under ultraviolet excitation. Excitation into the ZnO conduction band was also studied. ZnO doped with Eu³âº and Dy³âº ions exhibited a strong blue (483 nm) emission from the 4F9/2 --> 6H15/2 transition of Dy³âº ions, a yellowish-green (575 nm) emission from the 4F9/2 --> 6H13/2 transition of Dy³âº ions and a red (612 nm) emission from the 5D0 --> 7F2 transition of Eu³âº ions, without a defect background. Undoped ZnO emitted a broadband green light, demonstrating an efficient energy transfer from the ZnO host to the Eu³âº and Dy³âº ions. Moreover, energy transfer from the Eu³âº ions to the Dy³âº ions in the ZnO host was also observed by analyzing luminescence decay curves. The luminescence dynamics of the Eu³âº/Dy³âº-codped ZnO sample indicate that as the Eu³âº concentration increased, both the rise and the decay time constants of the 4H9/2 level of the Dy³âº ions became longer, while the decay time constants of the 5D0 level of the Eu³âº ions became shorter, suggesting an energy transfer from the Eu³âº ions to the Dy³âº ions in the ZnO host. Furthermore, by adjusting the doping concentration ratio of Eu³âº and Dy³âº ions, the Eu³âº/Dy³âº-codoped ZnO phosphors emitted strong white luminescence with a high color purity and high color rendering index. The results indicate that the Eu³âº/Dy³âº-codoped ZnO phosphors are promising light-conversion materials, and have the potential to be used in field emission display devices and LCD backlights.
