RESUMO

The risk management in workplace is an important measure to effectively prevent and control the harm of hand-transmitted vibration. Based on the relevant developments at home and abroad, this paper expounds the risk of manual vibration operation in workplace by taking contact assessment and hazard assessment as an example. On this basis, the limit management and hierarchical management related to risk management are discussed, and the existing problems are analyzed.

Objective: To investigate the association between remnant cholesterol (RC) and the risk of diabetic retinopathy (DR) in middle-aged and older individuals with diabetes. Methods: Based on the Shanghai Nicheng Cohort Study database, the data of 1 255 individuals with diabetes aged 55-70 years at baseline (2013-2014) with complete fundus photographs and serum cholesterol data in Nicheng, Shanghai, were analyzed. Multinomial logistic regression models were used to evaluate risk ratios (RRs) and their 95% confidence intervals (CIs) between baseline RC level and incident DR. Results: The median age of the subjects was 61.9 years, and 60.4% were women. After a 4.6-year follow-up, 79 (6.3%) patients developed DR, including 50 (4.0%) mild non-proliferative DR and 29 (2.3%) referable DR (RDR). Multivariable logistic regression showed that each mmol/L increase of RC was associated with a 40% higher risk of RDR (RR=1.40, 95%CI 1.03-1.90). Compared with the lowest tertile of RC (<0.63 mmol/L), the risk of RDR in the highest tertile (≥0.85 mmol/L) increased by 4.59 times (RR=5.59, 95%CI 1.51-20.73). Conclusion: The RC level may help identify individuals at high risk of incident RDR in middle-aged and older Chinese adults with diabetes.

RESUMO

The construction of health enterprises practice the concept of big health. It is an important solution to protect the overall health of occupational groups in the new era, which is of great significance to promoting a healthy city and helping to build a healthy China. This paper clarifies the connotation of healthy enterprises in the new era, discusses the key points of healthy enterprise construction around the "four in one" construction content, "PDCA" construction procedures, and evaluation methods of healthy enterprises. It focuses on the progress of healthy enterprise construction, analyzes the problems faced by the construction of health enterprises in China, and puts forward suggestions to improve the construction efficiency, with a view to providing ideas for further promoting the construction of health enterprises in China.

Thus, put forward suggestions on the construction of occupational health information standard system, to accelerate the occupational health information construction, data collection, transmission and application.

A great deal of work has carried out and get some achieved in the construction of emergency management and legal system for dealing with occupational disease accidents in China, however, the governance of occupational disease accidents is still weak in occupational health management. Based on the analysis of the situation of occupational disease accident emergency management and legal system construction at home and abroad, this paper summarizes the problems existing in the governance of occupational disease accidents, such as the need to further define the connotation and extension, the need to improve the regulations and policies, and the need to establish and improve the emergency management system. It is considered that it is very important to carry out research on the scientific definition, classification and management of occupational disease accidents.

Objective: To evaluate the surgical technique and outcomes of uteri retrieval from brain-dead multi-organ donors.This study is a preclinical research of human living uterine transplantation. Methods: From May, 2015 to May, 2017, four uteri retrieval procedures, characterized with radical hysterectomy and uterine vascular pedicles dissection, were performed in multi-organ brain-dead donors.The uterus was the third authorized organ after the kidney and liver retrieval procedures in the first two cases.The uterine pedicles included the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, the upper one-third of the vagina and internal iliac vessels or external iliac vessels.The perfusion of the uterus was conducted after the retrieval for evaluating the availability, followed by histopathological examination of the uterine issues per 30 minutes. Results: Since the uterine vein was quite difficult to identify and dissect in the first two case, which result in the rupture of triple uterine veins.Therefore, the uterine venous vessels including uterine vein connected with internal iliac vein and internal iliac arteries were selected as vascular grafts and dissected successfully in the last two cases, which could be perfused with the mixture of 4 ℃ heparinized physiological saline through each artery because of shortening the surgical time and arranging the uterine procurement as the first authorized organ procedure.Mean (SD) operative time was 152.5±39.0 min (115-215 min, n=4). Conclusion: Our preliminary experience indicated that the uterus could be retrieved from the brain-dead multi-organ donors and transplanted to the recipient.The attempt of skeletonizing the uterine veins should be replaced by dissection of internal iliac vein.

OBJECTIVE: MiR-595 has been demonstrated to be involved in tumorigenesis of several cancers. However, the clinical significance of miR-595 in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) remains unclear. The aim of this study was to explore the correlation of miR-595 expression with clinicopathologic features and prognosis in EOC patients. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Quantitative Real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) was performed to evaluate the expression level of miR-595 in all participants. Correlations between miR-595 levels and clinicopathological factors were investigated. Association of miR-595 expression with overall survival was estimated by the Kaplan-Meier method. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses were performed. RESULTS: We observed that miR-595 was downregulated in EOC tissues in comparison with noncancerous ovarian tissues (p < 0.05). In addition, low miR-595 expression level was significantly associated with advanced FIGO stage (p = 0.003), distant metastasis (p = 0.002), and grade (p = 0.014). Furthermore, significantly shorter overall survival was observed in patients with lower expression of the miR-595. At last, multivariate analysis revealed that decreased expression of miR-595 was an independent predictor of overall survival of EOC patients. CONCLUSIONS: Our data indicated that miR-595 expression might be a novel potential prognostic biomarker for EOC.

In this study, impacts of O3 on four cultivars ('Rose', 'Pink', 'Blush' and 'White') of the polka dot plant with variegated leaves were investigated for the first time. Ozone fumigation [(120 ± 20 ppb) for 14 days (8 h day-1, from 8:30 to 16:30)] resulted in visible foliar injuries, decreased contents of pigments (chlorophyll a and b, and carotenoid), the inhibition of photosynthesis, the increase of quantum yield of non-regulated heat dissipation and fluorescence emission (Y(NO)), and the damage of cell membrane. Elevated O3 increased the content of anthocyanin (Ant). 'White' showed the highest, and 'Rose' the lowest amount of injured leaf area, indicating that the former was the most sensitive, and the latter the most tolerant to O3 stress. After O3 exposure, the highest Ant content was found in 'Rose', followed by 'Pink', 'Blush', and 'White'. Levels of Ant were likely responsible for the different sensitivities to O3 due to their roles in photoprotection.

BACKGROUND: This study aimed to investigate whether CXCL13 modulated the trafficking of NMDA receptor via interleukin (IL)-17 in a rat model of remifentanil-induced hyperalgesia (RIH).Although chemokines are crucial regulators of neuroinflammation, spinal N-methyl-d-aspartate (NMDA) receptor activation, and development of hypernociceptive process, little is known about specific pathogenesis and effective treatment. Inflammatory mediators are required for excitatory synaptic transmission in pathologic pain. METHODS: A neutralizing antibody against CXCL13 (anti-CXCL13), antiserum against IL-17 (anti-IL-17), and recombinant CXCL13 and IL-17 were administered intrathecally to explore the roles of CXCL13, IL-17, and NMDA receptor, as well as the prevention of hyperalgesia. Paw withdrawal threshold and paw withdrawal latency were employed to record mechanical allodynia and thermal hyperalgesia. Reverse transcriptase quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to evaluate the levels of CXCL13/CXCR5 and IL-17/IL-17RA in the spinal dorsal horn. The trafficking of spinal GluN2B-containing NMDA receptor was assessed by Western blot after nociceptive testing. RESULTS: This study found mechanical allodynia and thermal hyperalgesia with a remarkable increase in the expression of spinal CXCL13/CXCR5 and IL-17/IL-17RA and trafficking of GluN2B-containing NMDA receptor after remifentanil exposure. Behavioral RIH and elevated GluN2B trafficking were dampened by intrathecal anti-CXCL13 and anti-IL-17, respectively. The delivery of exogenous CXCL13 dose-dependently generated a rapid nociceptive hypersensitivity in naïve rats, which was prevented by coadministering anti-IL-17. CXCL13-induced IL-17RA overproduction and GluN2B trafficking were reversed by anti-IL-17 treatment. GluN2B antagonist also blocked CXCL13, and IL-17 directly induced hyperalgesia. CONCLUSION: This study highlighted the contribution of IL-17 pathway in the trafficking of CXCL13-induced GluN2B-containing NMDA receptor in the pathogenesis of RIH.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the current situation of family medicine stockpile and children medication in China, analyze the existing problems and provide the rationalized suggestions. METHODS: The questionnaire was designed and convenient sampling survey was performed in 20 children hospitals in China. Descriptive analysis was conducted on the survey results. RESULTS: A total of 13 940 completed questionnaires were returned, 98.33% of the families had medicine stockpile, the top three types of the medicine for children were cold medicine(73.95%), oral paregoric/febrifuge(48.01%)and external used drugs for skin disease(wound)(41.10%). The medicine was bought according to physician's prescription and guide(71.18%). Drug poisoning occurred in children of 238 families(1.71%), overdose use was the first cause(44.96%). 22.33% of the parents didn't read the specification carefully before medicine use. The non-appropriate medication for children were mainly the use of adult medicine(32.70%), untimely medication(30.90%), non-rational or unneeded use of febrifuge(26.35%). CONCLUSIONS: In China, the families mainly store common medicine for their children. The parents bought medicine mainly according to physician' s prescription and paid attention to the safety and efficiency of the medicine, but non-appropriate use of medicine was still common. It is necessary to improve the rational use of medicine for children through expert counsel and guidance.

We report a comprehensive study of the tridimensional nature and orbital characters of the low-energy electronic structure in KCo2Se2, using polarization- and photon energy-dependent angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy. We observed one electron-like Fermi surface (FS) at the Brillouin zone (BZ) center, four electron-like FSs centered at the BZ corner, and one hole-like FS at the BZ boundary. The FSs show weak dispersion along the kz direction, indicating the near-two-dimensional nature of FSs in KCo2Se2. In combination with the local-density approximation calculations, we determined the orbital characters of the low-energy electronic bands, which are mainly derived from the Co 3d orbital, mixed with part of the Se 4p states. The [Formula: see text] orbital gives a significant contribution to the band crossing the Fermi level. A band renormalization of about 1.6 is needed to capture the essential dispersive features, which suggests that electronic correlations are much weaker than that in KyFe2-xSe2.

BACKGROUND: Ultraviolet (UV) exposure results in the production reactive oxygen species. Resveratrol has attracted considerable attentions owing to its natural abundance and multiple biological effects. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the protective effects of resveratrate against damage to human skin induced by repetitive solar simulator ultraviolet radiation (ssUVR). MATERIALS AND METHODS: Fifteen healthy volunteers were enrolled, and six sites on the non-exposed dorsal skin of each volunteer were marked for study. Sites 1-4 were exposed to ssUVR at a dosage of 1.5 minimal erythema dose for consecutive 4 days. Immediately after each exposure, one test material (resveratrate + antioxidant, antioxidant, resveratrate, vehicle) was applied to one of the four sites. Site 5 and site 6 were marked as positive control site (UVR only) and baseline control site (no treatment, no UVR). L*a*b values were assessed preprocedure and postprocedure. Skin biopsies were taken 24 h after the last irradiation. The specimens were stained to determine the number of sunburn cells and melanin content melanin. RESULTS: On resveratrate treated sites, erythema was barely seen with only slight decrease of L value and insignificant increase of *a value. Furthermore, resveratrate significantly inhibited sunburn cell formation, and decreased Fontana-Masson staining in skin samples. CONCLUSIONS: Resveratrate exerts protective effects against repetitive ssUVR-induced sunburn and suntan.

We report a comprehensive angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy study of the tridimensional electronic bands in the recently discovered Fe selenide superconductor ((Tl,Rb)(y)Fe(2-x)Se2 (T(c)=32 K). We determined the orbital characters and the k(z) dependence of the low energy electronic structure by tuning the polarization and the energy of the incident photons. We observed a small 3D electron Fermi surface pocket near the Brillouin zone center and a 2D like electron Fermi surface pocket near the zone boundary. The photon energy dependence, the polarization analysis and the local-density approximation calculations suggest a significant contribution from the Se 4p(z) and Fe 3d(xy) orbitals to the small electron pocket. We argue that the emergence of Se 4p(z) states might be the cause of the different magnetic properties between Fe chalcogenides and Fe pnictides.

OBJECTIVES: To explore the role of Oct3/4, Nanog and Sox2 in regeneration of rat tracheal epithelium. MATERIALS AND METHODS: An ex vivo model of rat tracheal epithelial regeneration using 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) was developed, to induce injury. Expression levels of Oct3/4, Nanog and Sox2 were examined using Western blot analysis, RT-PCR or microscopically observed immunofluorescence, and cell morphological changes were observed using HE staining, during the recovery process. RESULTS: Oct3/4, Nanog and Sox2 were not detectable in normal tracheal epithelium. After treatment with 5-FU, the normally proliferating tracheal epithelium desquamated and only a few cells in G0 phase of the cell cycle were left on the basement membrane and Oct3/4, Nanog and Sox2 could be observed at this time. Thereafter, the number of Oct3/4-, Nanog- and Sox2-positive cells increased gradually. When the cells differentiated into ciliate cells, mucous cells or basal cells, and restored pseudostratified mucociliary epithelium, the number of Oct3/4-, Nanog- and Sox2-positive cells decreased and gradually disappeared. CONCLUSIONS: G0 phase cells with resistance to 5-FU damage expressed Oct3/4, Nanog and Sox2. This indicated that these cells were undifferentiated, but had the ability to terminally differentiate into downstream-type cells. They possessed stem cell properties. The results are consistent with Oct3/4, Nanog and Sox2-expressing cells being considered as tracheal stem cells.

Live attenuated SA14-14-2 Japanese encephalitis (JE) vaccine has been safe and effective in >100 million immunized children, but its current administration schedule of two doses given a year apart does not lend itself to inclusion in established Expanded Program of Immunization (EPI) schedules of childhood immunization. Immune responses to immunization at shorter intervals were compared in middle-school-aged children immunized with two doses separated by 1 month (n = 116) or 2.5 months (n = 115). Two vaccine lots were compared. Seroconversion to the vaccine was observed in 100% of vaccinees immunized in the 1-month schedule and in 94% (lot 2) and 100% (lot 1) of vaccinees immunized in the 2.5-month schedule. Geometric mean titers were almost 2-fold higher with the longer schedule. The routine administration of JE SA14-14-2 vaccine to infants in an EPI schedule should be possible using either interval.

Comparative titrations of alpha-, flavi- and Bunyamwera viruses were made by EIA-IC and according to cytopathic effect (CPE). Specific enzymatic reactions appeared earlier and in higher titres than CPE. The titres of dengue type 1, Mayaro, Powassan and Langat viruses measured by EIA-IC were comparable to those measured by intracerebral inoculation of mice. The cross-reactivity testing of EIA-IC among alphaviruses (Chikungunya, Sindbis and Mayaro), flaviviruses (Japanese encephalitis, Murray valley encephalitis, Kunjin, West Nile, yellow fever and louping ill, Powassan, Langat) and Bunyamwera arboviruses using polyclonal immune ascitic fluids confirmed the high specificity of EIA-IC. Homologous reactions mostly showed higher titres than heterologous ones. No cross-reactivity was seen between alpha-, flavi- and bunyaviruses, among the three alphaviruses, between mosquito-borne and tick-borne flaviviruses, or between JE complex and YF viruses. However, a cross-reactivity to different extent was observed among the four JE complex viruses and among louping ill, Powassan and Langat viruses. The results of EIA-IC cross tests showed that this method can distinguish togavirus group- or species-specific antigens, more precisely than conventional ELISA.
