RESUMO

Residual film pollution and excessive nitrogen fertilizer have become limiting factors for agricultural development. To investigate the feasibility of replacing conventional plastic film with biodegradable plastic film in cold and arid environments under nitrogen application conditions, field experiments were conducted from 2021 to 2022 with plastic film covering (including degradable plastic film (D) and ordinary plastic film (P)) combined with nitrogen fertilizer 0 (N0), 160 (N1), 320 (N2), and 480 (N3) kg·ha-1. The results showed no significant difference (p > 0.05) in dry matter accumulation, photosynthetic gas exchange parameters, soil enzyme activity, or yield of spring maize under degradable plastic film cover compared to ordinary plastic film cover. Nitrogen fertilizer is the main factor limiting the growth of spring maize. The above-ground and root biomass showed a trend of increasing and then decreasing with the increase in nitrogen application level. Increasing nitrogen fertilizer can also improve the photosynthetic gas exchange parameters of leaves, maintain soil enzyme activity, and reduce soil pH. Under the nitrogen application level of N2, the yield of degradable plastic film and ordinary plastic film coverage increased by 3.74~42.50% and 2.05~40.02%, respectively. At the same time, it can also improve water use efficiency and irrigation water use efficiency, but it will reduce nitrogen fertilizer partial productivity and nitrogen fertilizer agronomic use efficiency. Using multiple indicators to evaluate the effect of plastic film mulching combined with nitrogen fertilizer on the comprehensive growth of spring maize, it was found that the DN2 treatment had the best complete growth of maize, which was the best model for achieving stable yield and income increase and green development of spring maize in cold and cool irrigation areas.

RESUMO

PURPOSE: Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) has a favorable prognosis. However, involvement of the recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) significantly increases the risk of recurrence. RLN invasion was an important factor in determining the extent of thyroid surgery. The purpose of this study was to compare clinicopathologic features and characterize risk factors of central and lateral lymph node metastasis (LLNM) of RLN invasion in patients with PTC. METHODS: A retrospective review was conducted of 130 patients with PTCs who had exclusive tumor involvement of the RLN at our institution between January 2014 and February 2019. All patients underwent total thyroidectomy and high-dose radioactive iodine (RAI) therapy. The clinicopathologic factors and prognostic outcomes of the patients with solitary and multiple RLN involvements were compared. Kaplan-Meier method was performed to compare the outcomes of tumor recurrence. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to identify risk factors associated with LLNM. RESULTS: The invasion of the RLN was similar on both sides, with 58.5% on the right, 40.0% on the left, and 1.5% on both sides. Significant differences were observed in tumor size (p < 0.001), lymph node metastasis classification (p = 0.002), RLN resection (p < 0.001), and thyroglobulin (p = 0.010) in the solitary and multiple groups. During the median follow-up of 67 months, 9 (6.9%) patients developed recurrence. There were no statistical differences in recurrence for age, tumor size, gender, multifocality, lymph node metastasis (LNM), and RLN resection. According to receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses, a cut-off of tumor size > 1.7 cm was identified as the most sensitive and specific predictor of RLN with multiple involvements or LNM invasion. Univariate and multivariate analyses revealed that central lymph node metastasis (CLNM) and RLN invasion by LNM can serve as independent risk factors for LLNM (p = 0.006 and p < 0.001, respectively). CONCLUSION: Our results indicate that recurrence was comparable in patients with solitary and multiple RLN involvements. Multiple RLN involvement was associated with pathological features such as larger tumors, RLN resection, and LLNM. The presence of LNM invading RLN and multiple nerve involvement increases the risk of intraoperative RLN resection. A higher risk of multiple invasion or LNM invasion should be considered when tumor size > 1.7 cm. The presence of CLNM and RLN invaded by LNM were independent predictors for LLNM, which could aid surgeons in deciding on lateral lymph node dissection.

RESUMO

Compared to conventional irrigation and fertilization, the Water-fertilizer coupling can significantly enhance the efficiency of water and fertilizer utilization, thereby promoting crop growth and increasing yield. Targeting the challenges of poor crop growth, low yield, and inefficient water and fertilizer utilization in the arid region of northwest China under conventional irrigation and fertilization practices. Therefore, a two-year on-farm experiment in 2022 and 2023 was conducted to study the effects of water-fertilizer coupling regulation on pumpkin growth, yield, water consumption (ET), and water and fertilizer use efficiency. Simultaneously the comprehensive evaluation of multiple objectives was carried out using principal component analysis (PCA) methods, so as to propose an suitable water-fertilizer coupling regulation scheme for the region. The experiment was set up as a two-factor trial using water-fertilizer integration technology under three irrigation volume (W1 = 37.5 mm, W2 = 45.5 mm, W3 = 52.5mm) and three organic fertilizer application amounts (F1 = 3900-300 kg ha-1, F2 = 4800-450 kg·ha-1, F3 = 5700-600 kg·ha-1), with the traditional irrigation and fertilization scheme from local farmers as control treatments (CK). The results indicated that irrigation volume and organic fertilizer application significantly affected pumpkin growth, yield, and water and fertilizer use efficiency (P<0.05). Pumpkin yield increased with increasing irrigation volume. Increasing organic fertilizer levels within a certain range benefited pumpkin plant growth, dry matter accumulation, and yield, however, excessive application beyond a certain level had inhibited effects on those. The increased fertilizer application under the same irrigation volume enhanced the efficiency of water and fertilizer utilization. However excessive irrigation only resulted in inefficient water consumption, reducing the water and fertilizer use efficiency. The Comprehensive evaluation by PCA revealed that the F2W3 treatment outperformed all the others, effectively addressing the triple objectives of increasing production, improving efficiency, and promoting green production. Therefore, F2W3 (Irrigation volume: 52.5 mm; Fertilizer application amounts: 4800-450 kg/ha-1) as a water and fertilizer management scheme for efficient pumpkin production in the arid region of northwest China.

RESUMO

Extant Old World camels (genus Camelus) contributed to the economic and cultural exchanges between the East and West for thousands of years.1,2 Although many remains have been unearthed,3,4,5 we know neither whether the prevalent hybridization observed between extant Camelus species2,6,7 also occurred between extinct lineages and the ancestors of extant Camelus species nor why some populations became extinct while others survived. To investigate these questions, we generated paleogenomic and stable isotope data from an extinct two-humped camel species, Camelus knoblochi. We find that in the mitochondrial phylogeny, all C. knoblochi form a paraphyletic group that nests within the diversity of modern, wild two-humped camels (Camelus ferus). In contrast, they are clearly distinguished from both wild and domesticated (Camelus bactrianus) two-humped camels on the nuclear level. Moreover, the divergence pattern of the three camel species approximates a trifurcation, because the most common topology is only slightly more frequent than the two other possible topologies. This mito-nuclear phylogenetic discordance likely arose due to interspecific gene flow between all three species, suggesting that interspecific hybridization is not exclusive to modern camels but a recurrent phenomenon throughout the evolutionary history of the genus Camelus. These results suggest that the genomic complexity of Old World camels' evolutionary history is underestimated when considering data from only modern species. Finally, we find that C. knoblochi populations began declining prior to the last glacial maximum and, by integrating palaeoecological evidence and stable isotope data, suggest that this was likely due to failure to adapt to a changing environment.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Tooth replacement patterns of early-diverging ornithischians, which are important for understanding the evolution of the highly specialized dental systems in hadrosaurid and ceratopsid dinosaurs, are poorly known. The early-diverging neornithischian Jeholosaurus, a small, bipedal herbivorous dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous Jehol Biota, is an important taxon for understanding ornithischian dental evolution, but its dental morphology was only briefly described previously and its tooth replacement is poorly known. RESULTS: CT scanning of six specimens representing different ontogenetic stages of Jeholosaurus reveals significant new information regarding the dental system of Jeholosaurus, including one or two replacement teeth in nearly all alveoli, relatively complete tooth resorption, and an increase in the numbers of alveoli and replacement teeth during ontogeny. Reconstructions of Zahnreihen indicate that the replacement pattern of the maxillary dentition is similar to that of the dentary dentition but with a cyclical difference. The maxillary tooth replacement rate in Jeholosaurus is probably 46 days, which is faster than that of most other early-diverging ornithischians. During the ontogeny of Jeholosaurus, the premaxillary tooth replacement rate slows from 25 days to 33 days with similar daily dentine formation. CONCLUSIONS: The tooth replacement rate exhibits a decreasing trend with ontogeny, as in Alligator. In a phylogenetic context, fast tooth replacement and multi-generation replacement teeth have evolved at least twice independently in Ornithopoda, and our analyses suggest that the early-diverging members of the major ornithischian clades exhibit different tooth replacement patterns as an adaption to herbivory.

RESUMO

Local species exhibit distinctive indigenous characteristics while showing unique productive and phenotypic traits. However, the advent of commercialization has posed a substantial threat to the survival of indigenous species. Anxi cattle, an endangered native breed in China, have evolved unique growth and reproductive characteristics in extreme desert and semidesert ecosystems. In this study, we conducted a genomic comparison of 10 Anxi cattle genomes with those of five other global populations/breeds to assess genetic diversity and identify candidate genomic regions in Anxi cattle. Population structure and genetic diversity analyses revealed that Anxi cattle are part of the East Asian cattle clade, exhibiting higher genetic diversity than commercial breeds. Through selective sweep analysis, we identified specific genetic variations linked to the environmental adaptability of Anxi cattle. Notably, we identified several candidate genes, including CERS3 involved in regulating skin permeability and antimicrobial functions, RBFOX2 associated with cardiac development, SLC16A7 participated in the regulation of pancreatic endocrine function, and SPATA3 related to reproduction. Our findings revealed the distinctive genomic features of Anxi cattle in dryland environments, provided invaluable insights for further research and breed preservation, and had important significance for enriching the domestic cattle breeding gene bank.

RESUMO

This retrospective cohort study explored the relationship between monocular and interocular optical coherence tomography (OCT) parameters and stereopsis in 56 patients undergoing pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) for unilateral idiopathic epiretinal membrane (IERM). IERM impairs visual functions, with symptoms ranging from asymptomatic to severe impairment. Despite established surgical interventions, including PPV with membrane peeling, the impact on advanced three-dimensional visual functions such as stereopsis remains inadequately investigated. All subjects were assessed for stereopsis, visual acuity, and metamorphopsia, alongside spectral domain OCT parameters. These visual functions significantly improved 3-month postoperatively. Central retinal thickness at the fovea, parafovea, and perifovea (CFT, CRT-3 mm, and CRT-6 mm), ectopic inner foveal layer thickness, and retinal layer thickness notably decreased 1 week to 3 months after surgery. The interocular difference in OCT parameters between bilateral eyes was included as a parameter. Baseline CRT-3 mm difference and inner nuclear layer (INL) thickness were independently correlated with postoperative stereopsis on the Titmus Stereo Test, while baseline CRT-6 mm difference and INL thickness were independently related to stereopsis on the TNO stereotest. This study highlights the substantial enhancement in stereopsis post-IERM surgery, with both interocular and monocular OCT parameters independently influencing postoperative stereopsis. These findings underscore the importance of retinal microstructures in assessing and predicting stereopsis in IERM patients after vitrectomy.

RESUMO

The use of a small organic molecular passivator is proven to be a successful strategy for producing higher-performing quasi-2D perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs). The small organic molecule can passivate defects on the grain surround and surface of perovskite crystal structures, preventing nonradiative recombination and charge trapping. In this study, a new small organic additive called 2, 8-dibromodibenzofuran (diBDF) is reported and examines its effectiveness as a passivating agent in high-performance green quasi-2D PeLEDs. The oxygen atom in diBDF, acting as a Lewis base, forms coordination bonds with uncoordinated Pb2+ , so enhancing the performance of the device. In addition, the inclusion of diBDF in the quasi-2D perovskite results in a decrease in the abundance of low-n phases, hence facilitating efficient carrier mobility. Consequently, PeLED devices with high efficiency are successfully produced, exhibiting an external quantum efficiency of 19.9% at the emission wavelength of 517 nm and a peak current efficiency of 65.0 cd A-1 .

RESUMO

Cattle are sensitive to temperature fluctuations but adapt well to inclement weather conditions. When environmental temperatures exceed specific thresholds, heat stress becomes a critical concern for cattle. The TRPM2 gene, which resides on cattle chromosome 1 encodes a TRP channel protein, holding a unique capacity to sense temperature changes and facilitate rapid response to avoid heat stress. Here, we utilized the Bovine Genome Variation Database (BGVD) (http://animal.omics.pro/code/index.php/BosVar), and identified a missense mutation site, c.805A > G: p. Met269Val (rs527146862), within the TRPM2 gene. To elucidate the functional assessment of this mutation in temperature adaptation attributes of Chinese cattle, we genotyped 407 samples from 20 distinct breeds representing diverse climatic zones across China. The association analysis incorporates three temperature parameters and revealed compelling insights in terms of allele frequency. Interestingly, the prevalence of the wild-type allele A was notably higher among northern cattle breeds and this trend diminished gradually as observed in southern cattle populations. Conversely, the mutant-type allele G demonstrated a contrasting trend. Moreover, southern cattle exhibited markedly higher frequencies of GG and GA genotypes (P < 0.01). The presence of heterozygous and homozygous mutations appears to confer an enhanced capacity for adaptation to elevated temperatures. These results provide unequivocal correlation evidence between TRPM2 genotypes (AA, GA, GG) and environmental temperature parameters and comprehend the genetic mechanisms governing temperature adaptation in cattle. This provides valuable insights for strategic breed selection across diverse climatic regions, thereby aiding livestock production amid evolving climate challenges.

The TRPM2 gene encodes TRP channel protein that helps animals in combating heat stress. Twenty Chinese local cattle breeds were genotyped, and association analysis was performed. This investigation encompasses the distribution pattern of the missense mutation locus rs527146862 of the TRPM2 gene in southern, northern, and central cattle populations. The results demonstrated a significant relationship between rs527146862 locus and temperature adaptation attributes in Chinese cattle.

RESUMO

Predictive drug testing of patient-derived tumor organoids (PDTOs) holds promise for personalizing treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), but prospective data are limited to chemotherapy regimens with conflicting results. We describe a unified framework for PDTO-based predictive testing across standard-of-care chemotherapy and biologic and targeted therapy options. In an Australian community cohort, PDTO predictions based on treatment-naive patients (n = 56) and response rates from first-line mCRC clinical trials achieve 83% accuracy for forecasting responses in patients receiving palliative treatments (18 patients, 29 treatments). Similar assay accuracy is achieved in a prospective study of third-line or later mCRC treatment, AGITG FORECAST-1 (n = 30 patients). "Resistant" predictions are associated with inferior progression-free survival; misclassification rates are similar by regimen. Liver metastases are the optimal site for sampling, with testing achievable within 7 weeks for 68.8% cases. Our findings indicate that PDTO drug panel testing can provide predictive information for multifarious standard-of-care therapies for mCRC.

RESUMO

Bees, essential for pollination in agriculture and global economic growth. However, the great wax moth (Galleria mellonella, GWM), a Lepidopteran insect, poses a substantial threat to bee colonies, contributing to a global decline in bee populations. Chlorantraniliprole (CH) is one of the primary insecticide used to control GWM due to its efficacy and low toxicity to bees. To improve beekeeping safety and reduce the risk of GWM developing resistance to prolonged use of CH, we investigated the potential of combining methionine (MET) which has been found to have insecticidal activity against certain Lepidoptera pests, with chlorantraniliprole for use in the apiculture industry. This study assessed the combined effects of MET and CH on GWM and honeybees by employing the maximum concentration of MET (1 %, w/w), previously reported as safe for honeybees, and the practical concentration of CH (1 mg/kg) for GWM control. The results revealed limited acute lethal toxicity of MET to GWM and honeybees, whereas the combined chronic exposure of MET and CH (MIX) led to significant synergistic lethal effects on GWM mortality. Nevertheless, the protective effect of MET on honeybees exposed to CH was significant under chronic exposure. Potential mechanisms underlying the synergistic actions of MET and CH may stem from MET-induced protection of the "Cysteine and methionine" and the "Glycine, serine, and threonine" metabolism pathways. Furthermore, immune stress mitigation was also observed in honeybee immune-related gene transcripts treated by the combination of MET and CH under both acute and chronic exposure. The effects of MET on CH activity in GWM and honeybees are likely due to metabolic regulation. This study suggests the potential of developing MET as a promising biopesticide or protective agent in the future.

RESUMO

Hydrogels are a type of functional polymer material with a three-dimensional network structure composed of physically or chemically cross-linked polymers. All hydrogels have two common features: first, their structure contains a large number of hydrophilic groups; therefore, they have a high water content and can swell in water. Second, they have good regulation, and the physical and chemical properties of their cross-linked network can be changed by environmental factors and deliberate modification methods. In recent years, the application of hydrogels in ophthalmology has gradually attracted attention. By selecting an appropriate composition and cross-linking mode, hydrogels can be used in different fields for various applications, such as gel eye drops, in situ gel preparation, intravitreal injection, and corneal contact lenses. This Review provides a detailed introduction to the classification of hydrogels and their applications in glaucoma, vitreous substitutes, fundus diseases, corneal contact lenses, corneal diseases, and cataract surgery.

RESUMO

With improvement in living standards, consumer preferences for vegetables are changing from quantity- to quality-oriented. Water and nitrogen supply, as two major determinants of vegetable crop yield and quality, can be optimally managed to improve the yield and quality. To evaluate the response in yield, fruit quality, and water and nitrogen utilization of eggplant to different water and nitrogen management strategies, a 2-year (2021 and 2022) field trial under mulched drip irrigation was conducted. The growth period was divided into seedling, flowering and fruit set, fruit development, and fruit ripening stages. Three irrigation levels were applied during the flowering and fruit set stage: W0, adequate water supply (70%-80% of field water capacity, FC); W1, mild water deficit (60%-70% FC); and W2, moderate water deficit (50%-60% FC). In addition, three nitrogen application rates were applied: N1, low nitrogen level (215 kg ha-1); N2, medium nitrogen level (270 kg ha-1); and N3, high nitrogen level (325 kg ha-1). The irrigation and nitrogen rates were applied in all combinations (i.e., nine treatments in total). Adequate water supply throughout the reproductive period in combination with no nitrogen application served as the control (CK). The yield of the W1N2 treatment was significantly increased by 32.62% and 35.06% in 2021 and 2022, respectively, compared with that of the CK. Fruit soluble protein, soluble solids, and vitamin C contents were significantly higher under W1 than W2. Fruit quality was significantly higher under the N2 rate compared with the other nitrogen rates. The W1N2 treatment showed the highest water productivity, with a significant increase of 11.27%-37.84% (2021) and 14.71%-42.48% (2022) compared with that under the other treatments. Based on the average water-deficit degree and nitrogen application rate, W0 and N1 had the highest partial factor productivity of nitrogen. Assessment of the results using the TOPSIS (technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution) method indicated that mild water deficit in combination with the medium nitrogen application rate (W1N2) was the optimal water and nitrogen management strategy for cultivated eggplant. The present findings contribute novel insights into the sustainable cultivation of eggplant in an oasis arid environment.

RESUMO

This paper studies the event-triggered fuzzy non-fragile control of uncertain DC microgrids subject to false data injection (FDI) attacks, controller saturation, network delays and premise mismatching. Firstly, a dynamic event-triggered mechanism (ETM) is proposed, which can save more communication bandwidth than the static ETMs, and remove the complex Zeno-free computation required by the continuous-time ETMs. Secondly, a fuzzy time-delay closed-loop system model is established, which provides a unified framework to study the effects of the dynamic ETM, FDI attacks, uncertainties, saturation, delays and premise mismatching. Thirdly, mean-square exponential stability criteria are established, and co-design method for the saturated fuzzy non-fragile (SFNF) controller and the dynamic ETM is presented. Simulation results confirm that the SFNF controller can stabilize the unstable DC microgrid, while the dynamic ETM significantly reduces the triggering rate by 84.98%. Comparisons show that the proposed controller performs better than the non-fragile controller, fuzzy controller and robust linear controller, and the dynamic ETM achieves a lower triggering rate than the static ETMs.

RESUMO

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) has high morbidity and mortality. Here, we aimed to explore the roles and potential correlation of placenta polypeptide injection (PPI) and MMP-9/TIMP-1 signaling pathway in COPD. BEAS-2B cells were treated with cigarette smoke extract (CSE) to establish a COPD cell model in vitro. The cell survival and cytotoxic effect were measured by CCK-8, LDH release and flow cytometry assays. The inflammatory responses were determined by western blot and ELISA assay. Cell fibrosis was assessed by immunofluorescence and western blot assays. PPI treatment had no cytotoxic effect on BEAS-2B cells until the final concentration reached to 10%. In the range of 0%-8% final concentration, PPI treatment weakened CSE-induced the decrease of cell viability and the increase of LDH level in a concentration-dependent manner. Four percent PPI treatment enhanced cell viability and decreased cell apoptosis of CSE-treated cells in a time-dependent manner. Moreover, 4% PPI treatment significantly decreased inflammatory responses and fibrosis induced by CSE, while AMPA (MMPs agonist) had opposite effects. Notably, AMPA reversed the protective roles of PPI on CSE-induced inflammation and fibrosis. Mechanistically, 4% PPI treatment significantly suppressed MMP-1, MMP-2, MMP-3, MMP-9, MMP-13, and MMP-19 levels, but enhanced TIMP-1, TIMP-2, TIMP-3, and TIMP-4 levels. Among them, MMP-9 and TIMP-1 might be the main target of PPI. PPI effectively attenuated CSE-induced inflammation and fibrosis in vitro by regulating MMP-9/TIMP-1 signaling pathway.

RESUMO

Background: Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing (WGBS) technology can provide comprehensive DNA methylation at a single-base resolution on a genome-wide scale, and is considered to be the gold standard for the detection of 5-methylcytosine (5 mC). However, the International Human Epigenome Consortium propose a full DNA methylome should have at least 30 fold redundant coverage of the reference genome from a single biological replicate. Therefore, it remains cost prohibitive for large-scale studies. To find a solution, the DNBSEQ-Tx sequencing was developed that can generate up to 6 Tb data in a single run for projects involving large-scale sequencing. Results: In this study, we provided two WGBS library construction methods DNB_PREBSseq and DNB_SPLATseq optimized for the DNBSEQ-Tx sequencer, and demonstrated the performance of these two methods on the DNBSEQ-Tx platform, using the DNA extracted from four different cell lines. We also compared the sequencing data from these two WGBS library construction methods with HeLa cell line data from ENCODE sequenced on Illumina HiSeq X Ten and WGBS data of two other cell lines sequenced on HiSeq2500. Various quality control (QC) analyses such as the base quality scores, methylation-bias (m-bias), and conversion efficiency indicated that the data sequenced on the DNBSEQ-Tx platform met the WGBS-required quality controls. Meanwhile, our data closely resembled the coverage shown by the data generated by the Illumina platform. Conclusions: Our study showed that with our optimized methods, DNBSEQ-Tx could generate high-quality WGBS data with relatively good stability for large-scale WGBS sequencing applications. Thus, we conclude that DNBSEQ-Tx can be used for a wide range of WGBS research.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the changes of blood lipids and endothelial cell function in patients with coronary heart disease complicated with hyperlipidemia after treatment with rosuvastatin. METHODS: A total of 120 patients with coronary heart disease and hyperlipidemia diagnosed from December 2020 to December 2021 were retrospectively included. Depending on the differences of their treatment strategies, patients were divided into the study group (60 patients were treated with rosuvastatin using the conventional treatment) and the control group (60 patients were treated with the conventional treatment). Dynamic blood lipid level monitoring was performed on the two groups of patients. The changes of cardiac function and hemorheology indexes were evaluated before and after the treatment. Analyze the difference of vascular endothelial function index between the two groups before and after the treatment. Count the occurrence of adverse reactions during the intervention period of the two groups. RESULTS: Before the treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein (LDL-C), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVDS), left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD), fibrinogen content, plasma viscosity, nitric oxide (NO), and endothelin (ET) levels (P>0.05). At 60 days of treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in TC, TG, LDL-C, LVDS, and LVEDD. The fibrinogen content, plasma viscosity, and ET level were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The HDL-C, LVEF, and NO levels were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (8.33% vs 13.33%) (P>0.05). CONCLUSION: Resuvastatin can reduce the level of blood lipids in patients with coronary heart disease and hyperlipidemia and improve the hemorheology indexes and cardiac function of patients. Its mechanism may be related to the regulation of vascular endothelial cell function in patients with coronary heart disease.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To study the clinical efficacy of different doses of rosuvastatin to treat elderly patients with senile coronary heart disease and hyperlipidemia. METHODS: By means of retrospective analysis, 150 elderly patients with coronary heart disease and hyperlipidemia who were treated in Zhangjiakou First Hospital from January 2020 to December 2020 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into three groups (50 patients in each group) according to the different treatment methods. All patients were given routine treatment for coronary heart disease and hyperlipidemia. At the same time, group A got 5 mg of rosuvastatin calcium per day, group B got 10 mg and group C got C, 20 mg. After 4 months of continuous treatment, changes of blood lipid level, inflammatory factors, and cardiac function in the three groups were compared before and after treatment. Finally, the incidence of adverse reactions in the three groups was statistically compared. RESULTS: After 4 months of treatment, the levels of TC, LDL, and TG in group B were significantly lower than those of group A, and the levels of HDL were significantly higher than those in group A (P<0.05). There was no significant difference of the above indicators between groups B and C after 4 months of treatment (P>0.05). Using 2 months, 3 months, and 4 months of therapy as time points, the blood lipid levels of the B and C groups was lower than in group A (P<0.05); Serum hs-CRP and TNF of patients in group B and group C after 4 months of treatment were significantly lower than those of group A (P<0.05); The LVEF comparison between groups showed that C was higher than A (P<0.05); The occurrence rate between adverse reactions during the 4 months of medication did not have statistical significance (P>0.05). CONCLUSION: Rosuvastatin calcium canimprove the clinical symptoms of elderly patients with coronary heart disease complicated by hyperlipidemia, and can improve the blood lipid level, cardiac function and the level of inflammatory factors in the body, but the clinical effect is not significantly improved by increasing the application dose. This suggests that the daily application dose should be 10 mg.

RESUMO

Perovskite solar cells (PeSCs) using FAPbI3 perovskite films often exhibit unfavorable phase transitions and defect-induced nonradiative interfacial recombination, resulting in considerable energy loss and impairing the performance of PeSCs in terms of efficiency, stability, and hysteresis. In this work, a facile interface engineering strategy to control the surface structure and energy-level alignment of perovskite films by tailoring the interface between the FAPbI3 film and hole-transporting layer using 4-hydroxypicolinic acid (4HPA) is reported. According to density functional theory studies, 4HPA has prominent electron delocalization distribution properties that enable it to anchor to the perovskite film surface and facilitate charge transfer at the interface. By enabling multiple bonding interactions with the perovskite layer, including hydrogen bonds, PbO, and PbN dative bonds, 4HPA passivation significantly reduces the trap density and efficiently suppresses nonradiative recombination. The obtained perovskite films exhibit superior optoelectronic properties with improved crystallinity, pure α-phase FAPbI3 , and favorable energy band bending. Following this strategy, 4HPA post-treatment PeSCs achieve a champion power conversion efficiency of 23.28% in 0.12 cm2 cells and 19.26% in 36 cm2 modules with excellent environmental and thermal stabilities.

RESUMO

Yin Yang 1 (YY1) is a well-known transcription factor that controls the expression of many genes and plays an important role in the occurrence and development of various cancers. We previously found that the human males absent on the first (MOF)-containing histone acetyltransferase (HAT) complex may be involved in regulating YY1 transcriptional activity; however, the precise interaction between MOF-HAT and YY1, as well as whether the acetylation activity of MOF impacts the function of YY1, has not been reported. Here, we present evidence that the MOF-containing male-specific lethal (MSL) HAT complex regulates YY1 stability and transcriptional activity in an acetylation-dependent manner. First, the MOF/MSL HAT complex was bound to and acetylated YY1, and this acetylation further promoted the ubiquitin-proteasome degradation pathway of YY1. The MOF-mediated degradation of YY1 was mainly related to the 146-270 amino acid residues of YY1. Further research clarified that acetylation-mediated ubiquitin degradation of YY1 mainly occurred through lysine 183. A mutation at the YY1K183 site was sufficient to alter the expression level of p53-mediated downstream target genes, such as CDKN1A (encoding p21), and it also suppressed the transactivation of YY1 on CDC6. Furthermore, a YY1K183R mutant and MOF remarkably antagonized the clone-forming ability of HCT116 and SW480 cells facilitated by YY1, suggesting that the acetylation-ubiquitin mode of YY1 plays an important role in tumor cell proliferation. These data may provide new strategies for the development of therapeutic drugs for tumors with high expression of YY1.
