RESUMO

Functional passivators are conventionally utilized in modifying the crystallization properties of perovskites to minimize the non-radiative recombination losses in perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs). However, the weak anchor ability of some commonly adopted molecules has limited passivation ability to perovskites and even may desorb from the passivated defects in a short period of time, which bring about plenty of challenges for further development of high-performance PeLEDs. Here, a multidentate molecule, formamidine sulfinic acid (FSA), is introduced as a novel passivator to perovskites. FSA has multifunctional groups (S≐O, C≐N and NH2 ) where the S≐O and C≐N groups enable coordination with the lead ions and the NH2 interacts with the bromide ions, thus providing the most effective chemical passivation for defects and in turn the formation of highly stable perovskite emitters. Moreover, the interaction between the FSA and octahedral [PbBr6 ]4- can inhibit the formation of unfavorable low-n domains to further minimize the inefficient energy transfer inside the perovskite emitters. Therefore, the FSA passivated green-emitting PeLED exhibits a high external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 26.5% with fourfold enhancement in operating lifetime as compared to the control device, consolidating that the multidentate molecule is a promising strategy to effectively and sustainably passivate the perovskites.

RESUMO

Bainong male sterile (BNS) wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is a thermo-sensitive genic male sterile line with excellent sterility and self-restoration. We focused on transcriptional profiles of differentially expressed probes between BNS sterile and fertile anthers. Anthers, rachis and spikes from sterile line and fertile line were collected. Extracted RNA was assayed using wheat expression microarray and Gene Ontology was analyzed using Cytoscape with ClueGO. An indole (indole-3-acetic acid: IAA) metabolism pathway sub-network was almost formed in all differentially expressed profiles between sterile and fertile samples. IAA sub-network contained four nodes of indole and alkaloid metabolism connecting main network via indole compounds. This sub-network was absent in rachis and intact in transformed fertile anthers, which was the main differently expressed metabolism pathway in F1 anthers with restorer genes. Alkaloid metabolism was absent in sterile anthers. Abnormal metabolism of IAA may be involved in BNS sterility. BNS transformation may be regulated by the production of IAA and alkaloid metabolism pathway, which favor the safe utilization of the sterile line in hybrid wheat production.

RESUMO

A small-molecule-based ternary memory device is used in transient thermal-probing electronics. The PYAE-based memory device is featured with three electrical transition signals ("0," "1," and "2"), while the heated PYAE-based device is only characterized by two electrical transition signals ("1" and "2"). The organic layer of the used devices can be recovered and reused.

RESUMO

The modification of the terminal electron-donating groups induces a critical change in molecular aggregation and the intermolecular charge-transfer effect of the symmetric D-A1-A2-A1-D molecules that correlate with an addressable variation of memory performance from binary to ternary.

RESUMO

Multilevel organic memories have attracted considerable interest due to their high capacity of data storage. Despite advances, the search for multilevel memory materials still remains a formidable challenge. Herein, we present a rational design and synthesis of a class of polymers containing an azobenzene-pyridine group (PAzo-py) and its derivatives, for multilevel organic memory storage. In this design, a metal complex (M(Phen)Cl2, M = Cu, Pd) is employed to modify the HOMO-LUMO energy levels of azo polymers, thereby converting the memory state from binary to ternary. More importantly, this approach enables modulating the energy levels of azo polymers by varying the coordination metal ions. This makes the achievement of high performance multilevel memories possible. The ability to tune the bandgap energy of azo polymers provides new exciting opportunities to develop new materials for high-density data storage.

RESUMO

The present paper is dealing with a simple method to correct the distance of linked genes in tetrad analysis in Neurospora crassa. It is suggested that the data of 4-thread double crossing over should be added in two single crossing over respectively in centromere maping when calculating crossover value of the two genes locating across the centromere.
