With the increasing focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on a global scale, stakeholders expect businesses to transform and enhance social responsibility. Over time, ESG and CSR have developed into vital performance metrics for businesses. Businesses are actively putting improvement measures into place in response to this new paradigm in order to stay competitive in this changing environment. China's dual commitment to CSR and sustainable development is in line with wider objectives, such as resolving issues of pay inequality. In 2012, the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) unveiled the "Green Credit Guidelines" (GCG), which take corporate governance's environmental considerations into account. These regulations set standards and specifically target high-pollution corporations. Companies may need to restructure their corporate structures and create efficient governance mechanisms in order to comply with these regulations and reduce carbon emissions. This will have an impact on the compensation packages of executives and regular employees. The most important question is how the "GCG" will affect the wage disparity in highly polluting companies. This study examines the 2012 "GCG" and its potential to reduce internal wage disparities, viewing it as a critical element of green financial policy. The paper uses data from Chinese A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2020. Besides, it uses the Difference-in-Differences method to assess the impact of China's GCG, treating its implementation as a quasi-natural experiment and controlling for concurrent policy effects to precisely identify its net impact on corporate carbon emissions and internal wage disparities. The findings show that "GCG" considerably closed internal wage disparities. Furthermore, the "GCG" has a path of guidance, incentives, and punishments that reduce internal wage disparities and promote a more equitable wage distribution within businesses. According to heterogeneity analysis, policies have a greater impact on the wage gap in businesses that are highly dependent on outside funding and have political connection. In order to achieve a compensation balance and meet the objectives of social responsibility and corporate sustainable development, the government should strengthen the complementary effects of green financial policies. The compensation balance in highly polluting companies has important theoretical and practical ramifications. On the one hand, it represents the convergence of income equality, corporate governance, and environmental responsibility. It helps to expand knowledge of sustainable development, fair compensation, and environmental policies. On the other hand, the widening pay disparity between executives and average employees reflects the exacerbation of income inequality in China, which could potentially impact companies' long-term development. Conversely, a well-balanced pay plan can improve worker productivity and motivation while empowering stakeholders to make wise investment choices.

In the financial industry, it is of great significance to study the multiobjective portfolio optimization for obtaining a reasonable investment strategy. This paper designs the financial portfolio scheme based on the multiobjective optimization algorithm that is based on the framework of the NSGA-II algorithm. In order to introduce convergence information, aiming at the actual problem of the portfolio, the mixed individual coding mechanism with asset information expands the application of the multiobjective evolutionary algorithm in portfolio optimization. The portfolio scheme obtained is effective, which is helpful to improve the decision-making efficiency of financial investors and enriches the application of modern financial theory.

Background: Patients with acute aortic dissection type A (AADA) often have hypoxemia (partial pressure of oxygen [PaO2]/fraction of inspired oxygen [FiO2] <300 mmHg) before weaning in the intensive care unit (ICU). This study compared the efficacy of high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) with that of conventional oxygen therapy (COT) in patients with AADA following Sun's procedure. Methods: The medical records of 87 adult patients with AADA who underwent Sun's procedure and met the inclusion criteria (PaO2/FiO2 <300 mmHg before weaning) were retrospectively analyzed. After surgery, 41 patients were treated with HFNC and 46 were treated with COT. The oxygenation level, FiO2, partial pressure of carbon dioxide, heart rate, respiratory rate, subjective discomfort, and reintubation rate were recorded. The difference in lung volume loss between the HFNC and COT groups was assessed using the radiological atelectasis score (chest radiograph) or calculated from three-dimensional (3D) reconstructed computed tomography (CT) images. Results: From day 1 to day 5 after weaning, there was no significant difference in PaO2/FiO2 between the HFNC and COT groups, although the FiO2 was significantly lower in the HFNC group than in the COT group (P < 0.05). Further studies indicated that the percentage of lung volume loss (pleural effusion and/or pulmonary atelectasis) by 3D reconstruction of CT images at 4-8 days post-operation was significantly lower in the HFNC group (P < 0.05). The subjective experience of breathing discomfort, reintubation rate, and length of stay in the ICU were significantly reduced in the HFNC group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in readmission to the ICU and in-hospital mortality between the two groups. Conclusions: HFNC can be used as an effective oxygen therapy for AADA patients with hypoxemia after Sun's procedure.

Dendritic cells (DC) are professional APCs that play a critical role in regulating immunity. In DC, maturation-induced changes in MHC class II expression and Ag presentation require transcriptional regulation by CIITA. To study the role of CIITA in DC, we evaluated key cell functions in DC from CIITA-deficient (CIITA(-/-)) mice. The ability to take up Ag, measured by fluid phase endocytosis, was comparable between CIITA(-/-) and control DC. Although CIITA(-/-) DC lack MHC class II, they maintained normal expression of costimulatory molecules CD80, CD86, and CD40. In contrast, CIITA(-/-) DC activated with LPS or CpG expressed increased IL-10 levels, but normal levels of TNF-alpha and IL-12 relative to control. Enhanced IL-10 was due to greater IL-10 mRNA in CIITA(-/-) DC. Abeta(-/-) DC, which lack MHC class II but express CIITA normally, had exhibited no difference in IL-10 compared with control. When CIITA was cotransfected with an IL-10 promoter-reporter into a mouse monocyte cell line, RAW 264.7, IL-10 promoter activity was decreased. In addition, reintroducing CIITA into CIITA(-/-) DC reduced production of IL-10. In all, these data suggest that CIITA negatively regulates expression of IL-10, and that CIITA may direct DC function in ways that extend beyond control of MHC class II.
