RESUMO

The use of next-generation sequencing (NGS) for monitoring measurable residual disease (MRD) in acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) has been gaining traction. This study aimed to investigate the utility of NGS in MRD monitoring for the three major fusion transcript (FT) subtypes of B-precursor ALL (B-ALL). The MRD results for 104 bone marrow samples from 56 patients were analysed through NGS and real time quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR) for the three major FTs: BCR::ABL1, TCF3::PBX1, and ETV6::RUNX1. To validate the NGS approach, NGS-MRD was initially compared with allele-specific oligonucleotide-qPCR-MRD, and the coefficient of determination was good (R2=0.8158). A subsequent comparison of NGS-MRD with FT-MRD yielded a good coefficient of determination (R2=0.7690), but the coefficient varied by subtype. Specifically, the R2 was excellent for TCF3::PBX1 ALL (R2=0.9157), good for ETV6::RUNX1 ALL (R2=0.8606), and subpar for BCR::ABL1 ALL (R2=0.5763). The overall concordance between the two methods was 83.7%, and an excellent concordance rate of 95.8% was achieved for TCF3::PBX1 ALL. Major discordance, which was defined as a >1 log difference between discordant NGS-MRD and FT-MRD, occurred in 6.7% of the samples, with all but one sample being BCR::ABL1 ALL. Among the four non-transplanted patients with BCR::ABL1-MRD (+)/NGS-MRD (-), three did not relapse after long-term follow-up. Our finding indicates that NGS-MRD has a better prognostic impact than RT-qPCR-MRD in ETV6::RUNX1 and BCR::ABL1 ALL, whereas in TCF3::PBX1 ALL, both methods exhibit comparable efficacy.

This study investigates the potential utility of IKZF1 deletion as an additional high-risk marker for paediatric acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL). The prognostic impact of IKZF1 status, in conjunction with minimal/measurable residual disease (MRD), was evaluated within the MRD-guided TPOG-ALL-2013 protocol using 412 newly diagnosed B-ALL patients aged 1-18. IKZF1 status was determined using multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification. IKZF1 deletions, when co-occurring with CDKN2A, CDKN2B, PAX5 or PAR1 region deletions in the absence of ERG deletions, were termed IKZF1plus. Both IKZF1 deletion (14.6%) and IKZF1plus (7.8%) independently predicted poorer outcomes in B-ALL. IKZF1plus was observed in 4.1% of Philadelphia-negative ALL, with a significantly lower 5-year event-free survival (53.9%) compared to IKZF1 deletion alone (83.8%) and wild-type IKZF1 (91.3%) (p < 0.0001). Among patients with Day 15 MRD ≥0.01%, provisional high-risk patients with IKZF1plus exhibited the worst outcomes in event-free survival (42.0%), relapse-free survival (48.0%) and overall survival (72.7%) compared to other groups (p < 0.0001). Integration of IKZF1plus and positive Day 15 MRD identified a subgroup of Philadelphia-negative B-ALL with a 50% risk of relapse. This study highlights the importance of assessing IKZF1plus alongside Day 15 MRD positivity to identify patients at increased risk of adverse outcomes, potentially minimizing overtreatment.

A balanced diet during gestation is critical for fetal development, and excessive intake of saturated fats during gestation and lactation is related to an increased risk of offspring kidney disease. Emerging evidence indicates that a maternal high-fat diet influences kidney health and disease of the offspring via so-called renal programming. This review summarizes preclinical research documenting the connection between a maternal high-fat diet during gestation and lactation and offspring kidney disease, as well as the molecular mechanisms behind renal programming, and early-life interventions to offset adverse programming processes. Animal models indicate that offspring kidney health can be improved via perinatal polyunsaturated fatty acid supplementation, gut microbiota changes, and modulation of nutrient-sensing signals. These findings reinforce the significance of a balanced maternal diet for the kidney health of offspring.

Primary intracranial ependymoma is a challenging tumor to treat despite the availability of multidisciplinary therapeutic modalities, including surgical resection, radiotherapy, and adjuvant chemotherapy. After the completion of initial treatment, when resistant tumor cells recur, salvage therapy needs to be carried out with a more precise strategy. Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) have specifically been detected and validated for patients with primary or recurrent diffused glioma. The CTC drug screening platform can be used to perform a mini-invasive liquid biopsy for potential drug selection. The validation of potential drugs in a patient-derived xenograft (PDX) mouse model based on the same patient can serve as a preclinical testing platform. Here, we present the application of a drug testing model in a six-year-old girl with primary ependymoma on the posterior fossa, type A (EPN-PFA). She suffered from tumor recurrence with intracranial and spinal seeding at 2 years after her first operation and extraneural metastases in the pleura, lung, mediastinum, and distant femoral bone at 4 years after initial treatment. The CTC screening platform results showed that everolimus and entrectinib could be used to decrease CTC viability. The therapeutic efficacy of these two therapeutic agents has also been validated in a PDX mouse model from the same patient, and the results showed that these two therapeutic agents significantly decreased tumor growth. After precise drug screening and the combination of focal radiation on the femoral bone with everolimus chemotherapy, the whole-body bone scan showed significant shrinkage of the metastatic tumor on the right femoral bone. This novel approach can combine liquid biopsy, CTC drug testing platforms, and PDX model validation to achieve precision medicine in rare and challenging tumors with extraneural metastases.

Pediatric extracranial germ cell tumors (GCTs) are rare, accounting for approximately 3.5% of childhood cancers. Since the introduction of platinum-based chemotherapy, the survival rate of patients has improved to more than 80%. However, poor-risk subtypes of pediatric extracranial GCTs do not respond well to chemotherapy, leading to refractory or relapsed (R/R) diseases. For example, long-term survival rates of mediastinal GCTs or choriocarcinoma are less than 50%. According to reports in recent years for adult patients with R/R GCTs, the use of high-dose chemotherapy (HDCT) combined with autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) has clinical advantages; however, HDCT combined with ASCT has rarely been reported in pediatric GCTs. The R/R and poor-risk groups of pediatric GCTs could benefit from HDCT and ASCT.

RESUMO

Cardiac lymphoma is rare in children. Treatment typically includes chemotherapy, combination of radiotherapy, or surgery. We report a case of stage IV precursor B lymphoblastic lymphoma with secondary involvement of the heart in an 11-year-old girl who was treated with acute lymphoblastic leukemia-based chemotherapy. Also, we review the literature on this uncommon malignancy.

BACKGROUND: Infective endocarditis (IE) is an important cause of morbidity and mortality in pediatric patients with heart disease. Little literature has explored differences in the presentation of endocarditis in children with and without heart disease. This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes and determine the risk of in-hospital death in the study population. METHODS: Data were retrospectively collected from 2001 to 2019 from the Chang Gung Research Database (CGRD), which is the largest collection of multi-institutional electronic medical records in Taiwan. Children aged 0-20 years with IE were enrolled. We extracted and analyzed the demographic and clinical features, complications, microbiological information, and outcomes of each patient. RESULTS: Of the 208 patients with IE, 114 had heart disease and 94 did not. Compared to those without heart disease, more streptococcal infections (19.3% vs. 2.1%, p < 0.001) and cardiac complications (29.8% vs. 6.4%, p < 0.001) were observed in patients with heart disease. Although patients with heart disease underwent valve surgery more frequently (43.9% vs. 8.5%, p < 0.001) and had longer hospital stays (28.5 vs. 12.5, p = 0.021), their mortality was lower than that of those without heart disease (3.5% vs. 10.6%, p = 0.041). Thrombocytopenia was independent risk factor for in-hospital mortality in pediatric patients with IE (OR = 6.56, 95% CI: 1.43-40.37). CONCLUSION: Among pediatric patients diagnosed with IE, microbiological and clinical features differed between those with and without heart disease. Platelet counts can be used as a risk factor for in-hospital mortality in pediatric patients with IE.

Background: The improvement of survival after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation has brought about a need to evaluate long-term complications, for instance, secondary malignancies. The risk of subsequent malignancies after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation must be clarified in a large population. Aims: To estimate the risk of secondary malignancies in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation survivors and compare it with the risk in patients without hematopoietic stem cell transplantation history. Study Design: We conducted a population-based retrospective cohort study of 3,059 hematopoietic stem cell transplantation recipients from the National Health Insurance Research Database of Taiwan, containing 1,378 autologous, 1,641 allogeneic, and 40 cord blood stem cell transplantation recipients between 2000 and 2013. A control group of 12,236 patients without an hematopoietic stem cell transplantation history was identified. Methods: The covariates included age, sex, comorbidities, stem cell source, facility level of care, and history of total body irradiation. Comorbidities were estimated by the revised Charlson comorbidity index, and a higher score suggested more severe comorbidity. Adjusted hazard ratios were determined by adjusting for age, sex, comorbidity, and facility level of care. Results: Overall, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation recipients had a higher risk of secondary malignancies with an adjusted hazard ratios of 1.348 (p = 0.017). Being male and female (adjusted hazard ratios 1.395, p = 0.009 and adjusted hazard ratios 1.291, p = 0.042, respectively) and pre-hematopoietic stem cell transplantation total body irradiation (adjusted hazard ratios 1.591, p < 0.001) were correlated with a high risk of secondary malignancies. Among the subsequent neoplasms, bone cancer showed the highest risk (adjusted hazard ratios 27.899, p < 0.001), followed by laryngeal (adjusted hazard ratios 6.643, p < 0.001), kidney (adjusted hazard ratios 5.580, p < 0.001), esophageal, pancreatic, thyroid (adjusted hazard ratios 1.993, p < 0.001), and skin (adjusted hazard ratios 1.992, p < 0.001) cancers. The median follow-up duration was 2.16 years in the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation group and 2.57 years in the control group, and the overall median follow-up duration was 2.21 years. Conclusion: Medical practitioners should be aware of the high risk of secondary malignancies in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation recipients later in life. These recipients should be informed about the importance of regular follow-up and photoprotective measures. Lifelong surveillance is recommended.

BACKGROUND: The direct comparison of molecular responses of front-line imatinib (IM) monitored at the same laboratory between children and adults with chronic phase (CP) of chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) had not been reported. In this multicenter study, we compared the landmark molecular responses and outcomes of paediatric and adult CML-CP cohorts treated with front-line IM in whom the BCR::ABL1 transcript levels were monitored at the same accredited laboratory in Taiwan. METHODS: Between June 2004 and July 2020, 55 newly diagnosed paediatric and 782 adult CML-CP patients, with molecular diagnosis and monitoring at the same reference laboratory in Taiwan, were enrolled. The criteria of 2020 European LeukemiaNet were applied to evaluate the molecular responses. RESULTS: By year 5, the cumulative incidences of IS <1%, MMR, MR4.0 and MR4.5 of paediatric patients were all significantly lower than those of adult patients (58 vs 75%, 48 vs 66%, 25 vs 44%, 16 vs 34%, respectively). The 10-year progression-free survival (PFS) (90%) and overall survival (OS) (94%) of paediatric patients did not differ from those (92%) of adult patients. CONCLUSIONS: We demonstrated the paediatric cohort had slower molecular responses to front-line IM and similar outcomes in 10-year PFS and OS in real-world practice.

The development of a second malignancy after the diagnosis of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a rare event. Certain second malignancies have been linked with specific elements of leukemia therapy, yet the etiology of most second neoplasms remains obscure and their optimal management strategies are unclear. This is a first comprehensive report of non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) following pediatric ALL therapy, excluding stem-cell transplantation. We analyzed data of patients who developed NHL following ALL diagnosis and were enrolled in 12 collaborative pediatric ALL trials between 1980-2018. Eighty-five patients developed NHL, with mature B-cell lymphoproliferations as the dominant subtype (56 of 85 cases). Forty-six of these 56 cases (82%) occurred during or within 6 months of maintenance therapy. The majority exhibited histopathological characteristics associated with immunodeficiency (65%), predominantly evidence of Epstein-Barr virus-driven lymphoproliferation. We investigated 66 cases of post-ALL immunodeficiency-associated lymphoid neoplasms, 52 from our study and 14 additional cases from a literature search. With a median follow-up of 4.9 years, the 5-year overall survival for the 66 patients with immunodeficiency-associated lymphoid neoplasms was 67.4% (95% confidence interval [CI], 56-81). Five-year cumulative risks of lymphoid neoplasm- and leukemia-related mortality were 20% (95% CI, 10.2-30) and 12.4% (95% CI, 2.7-22), respectively. Concurrent hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis was associated with increased mortality (hazard ratio, 7.32; 95% CI, 1.62-32.98; P = .01). A large proportion of post-ALL lymphoid neoplasms are associated with an immunodeficient state, likely precipitated by ALL maintenance therapy. Awareness of this underrecognized entity and pertinent diagnostic tests are crucial for early diagnosis and optimal therapy.

BACKGROUND: Rab37-mediated exocytosis of tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 1 (TIMP1), an inflammatory cytokine, under serum-depleted conditions which leads to suppression of lung cancer cell metastasis has been reported. Starvation is also a stimulus of autophagic activity. Herein, we reveal that starvation activates Rab37 and induces autophagy. METHODS: We used an overexpression/knockdown system to determine the relationship between autophagy and Rab37 in vitro and in vivo. The autophagy activity was detected by immunoblotting, transmission electron microscope, autophagosome purification, and immunofluorescence under the confocal microscope. Lung-to-lung metastasis mouse model was used to clarify the role of autophagy and Rab37 in lung cancer. Clinical lung cancer patient specimens and an online big database were analyzed. RESULTS: Initially, we demonstrated that active-form Rab37 increased LC3-II protein level (the marker of autophagosome) and TIMP1 secretion. Accordingly, silencing of Rab37 gene expression alleviated Rab37 and LC3-II levels as well as TIMP1 secretion, and induction of autophagy could not increase TIMP1 exocytosis under such conditions. Moreover, silencing the Atg5 or Atg7 gene of lung cancer cells harboring active-mutant Rab37 (Q89L) led to decreased autophagy activity and TIMP1 secretion. In the lung-to-lung metastasis mouse model, increased TIMP1 expression accompanied by amiodarone-induced autophagy led to decreased tumor nodules and cancer cell metastasis. These phenomena were reversed by silencing the Atg5 or Atg7 gene. Notably, increasing autophagy activity alone showed no effect on TIMP1 secretion under either Rab37 or Sec22b silencing conditions. We further detected colocalization of LC3 with either Rab37 or TIMP1, identified Rab37 and Sec22b proteins in the purified autophagosomes of the lung cancer cells harboring the active-form Rab37 gene, and confirmed that these proteins are involved in the secretion of TIMP1. We reveal that autophagic activity was significantly lower in the tumors compared to the non-tumor parts and was associated with the overall lung cancer patient survival rate. CONCLUSIONS: We are the first to report that autophagy plays a promoting role in TIMP1 secretion and metastasis in a Rab37-dependent manner in lung cancer cells and the lung-to-lung mouse model.

RATIONALE: Extraosseous Ewing's sarcoma is a rare tumor which is aggressive with poor prognosis; it can occur anywhere in the body, but scantily in the pancreas. Pancreatic Ewing's sarcoma is not reported commonly, with inconsistent clinical manifestations. In this regard, early recognition of this disease is very important for the patient's sake. PATIENT CONCERNS: A 16-year-old boy presented with left lower quadrant abdominal pain for 2 months, and left flank pain with dysuria for 1 month. DIAGNOSIS: Abdominal and renal ultrasonography found a mass between the spleen and left kidney as well as left renal pelvic dilatation. Abdominal computed tomography found a heterogenous mass derived from the tail of the pancreas. Serial examinations revealed that the mass was a pancreatic Ewing's sarcoma. Furthermore, no metastasis was documented. INTERVENTIONS: The tumor was totally excised after 6 months of chemotherapy, which included 10 courses of neoadjuvant chemotherapy with vincristine, epirubicin, and cyclophosphamide, alternating with ifosfamide and etoposide. The patient completed consolidation chemotherapy with vincristine, epirubicin, and cyclophosphamide, alternating with ifosfamide and etoposide for 5 courses. Radiotherapy was applied to the tumor-involved region and tumor bed. OUTCOMES: To date, the malignancy has not recurred since the treatment was completed 4 years ago. There are no complications from the treatment for the patient. LESSONS: The pancreas is a very rare extraosseous location for Ewing's sarcoma. Pancreatic extraosseous Ewing's sarcoma should be regarded as a differential diagnosis of non-urinary originated left flank pain with dysuria in adolescents.

Pseudoscorpions are predatory microarthropods that feed on even smaller animals, such as mites and springtails. While these organisms are generally considered terrestrial and live in the leaf litter or under barks or rocks, some pseudoscorpions live in the intertidal area, including species in the genera Anagarypus, Anchigarypus, and Garypus in the family Garypidae. This study describes two new species of the genus Garypus L. Koch from Southern Taiwan, Garypus wilsoni Lin & Chang sp. nov. and Garypus sanasai Lin, Huang & Chang sp. nov., reviews the pseudoscorpion fauna of Taiwan, and provides an updated checklist of the country. Specimens of the two new species were collected in seashore habitats and their status as new species were supported by both morphology and molecular phylogenetic analysis. Our discovery marks the first new species of pseudoscorpions reported in Taiwan since 1937, as well as the first records of the family Garypidae in Taiwan and of Garypus in East Asia. Moreover, the discovery of these two new species in Taiwan fills the regional distribution gap between Garypus in Thailand and southward and its closely related genus Anchigarypus in South Korea and Japan. BACKGROUND: Primary malignant mediastinal germ cell tumors (GCTs) are rare pediatric tumors that have a poorer prognosis compared to GCTs occurring elsewhere in the body. The current study aimed to assess the prognostic factors and treatment outcomes of children with primary malignant mediastinal GCT in Taiwan. METHODS: The authors retrospectively reviewed children 0-18 years old who were newly diagnosed with primary malignant mediastinal GCT between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2019 and were registered in the Taiwan Pediatric Oncology Group patient registry. The impact of presenting characteristics, including sex, age, tumor stage, histology subtype, surgical treatment, and chemotherapy regimens of the patients were analyzed. RESULTS: This study enrolled 52 children with malignant mediastinal GCT who had a median age of 16.0 (range, 6.0-17.9) years at diagnosis. The most common histological subtypes were mixed GCTs (n = 20) and yolk sac tumors (n = 15). Advanced disease stage and choriocarcinoma histology subtype were associated inferior outcomes. Children who received surgical treatment exhibited better outcomes compared to those who did not (5-year overall survival, 78% vs. 7%, p < .001). After comparing patients who received first-line cisplatin- and carboplatin-based chemotherapy, no difference in treatment outcomes was observed. Multivariate analysis showed that surgical management was the only independent predictor for superior OS. CONCLUSIONS: Surgical treatment is recommended for mediastinal GCT. Cisplatin-based chemotherapy was not superior to carboplatin-based chemotherapy as first-line treatment and may be avoided due to toxicity concerns.

Independent coffee shops are the alternative workplaces for people working remotely from traditional offices but are not concerned about their indoor air quality (IAQ). This study aimed to rank the environmental factors in affecting the IAQ by Random Forests (RFs) models. The indoor environments and human activities of participated independent coffee shops were observed and recorded for 3 consecutive days including weekdays and weekend during the business hours. The multi-sized particulate matter (PM), particle-bound polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (p-PAHs), total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), CO, CO2, temperature and relative humidity were monitored. RFs models ranked the environmental factors. More than 20% of the 15-min average concentrations of PM10, PM2.5, and CO2 exceeded the World Health Organization guidelines. Occupant density affected TVOCs, p-PAHs and CO2 concentrations directly. Tobacco smoking dominated PM10, PM2.5, TVOCs and p-PAHs concentrations mostly. CO concentration was affected by roasting bean first and tobacco smoking secondly. The non-linear relationships between temperature and these pollutants illustrated the relative low concentrations happened at temperature between 22 and 24 °C. Tobacco smoking, roasting beans and occupant density are the observable activities to alert the IAQ change. Decreasing CO2 and optimizing the room temperature could also be the surrogate parameters to assure the IAQ.

Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) are life-threatening adverse reactions to drugs and psychological sequelae are also observed to follow the trauma of widespread epidermal necrolysis. To delineate the association between SJS and TEN, and psychiatric disorders, we conducted a retrospective population-based cohort study by including 212 patients diagnosed with first-time SJS or TEN in Taiwan between 2000 and 2013 and 669 population controls. Adjusted hazard ratios were calculated after adjusting for sex, age, comorbidity in the form of Charlson comorbidity index, and facility level of care. Overall, SJS or TEN was associated with an increased risk of developing psychiatric disorders including schizophrenia, major depressive disorder, mania, anxiety, and bipolar with an adjusted hazard ratio of 1.392 (95% CI, 1.192-1.625; p < 0.001). Particularly, the adjusted hazard ratios of psychiatric disorders were 1.290 (95% CI, 1.105-1.506; p < 0.001) for SJS and 1.855 (95% CI, 1.587-2.167; p < 0.001) for TEN.

OBJECTIVES: Neisseria gonorrhoeae (gonococcus) infection is one of the most commonly reported nationally notifiable conditions in the United States. Gonococcus has developed antimicrobial resistance to each previously used antibiotic for gonorrhea therapy. However, some isolates may be still susceptible to no longer recommended, yet still effective antibiotics. This in turn suggests that targeted therapy could slow resistance development to currently recommended empirical treatments. We curated a gonococcal Ciprofloxacin Antibiotic Resistance Isolate Bank panel (Cipro-panel) as a tool for validating or developing new tests to determine ciprofloxacin susceptibility. METHOD: The Cipro-panel was selected using whole genome sequencing, bioinformatic tools, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) data. Isolates were further selected based on nucleotide variations in gyrA and parC genes. RESULTS: We selected 14 unique N. gonorrhoeae isolates from the 2006-2012 Gonococcal Isolate Surveillance Project (GISP) collection. They represented a wide range of antimicrobial susceptibility to ciprofloxacin and commonly observed nucleotide variations of gyrA and parC genes. This Cipro-panel consists of 5 isolates with resistant phenotypes (MIC > = 1 µg/mL), 8 isolates with susceptible phenotypes (MIC < = 0.06 µg/mL), and 1 isolate falling in the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute defined intermediate range. Among the gyrA variations we observed a total of 18 SNPs. Four positions had nonsynonymous changes (nucleotide positions 272, 284, 1093, and 1783). The first two positions (272 and 284) have been linked previously with resistance to ciprofloxacin (i.e. amino acid positions 91 and 95). For the parC gene, we observed a total of 21 possible SNPs. Eight of those SNPs resulted in non-synonymous amino acid changes. One location (amino acid 87) has been previously reported to be associated with ciprofloxacin resistance. CONCLUSIONS: This Cipro-Panel is useful for researchers interested in developing clinical tests related to ciprofloxacin. It could also provide additional choices for validation, quality assurance purposes and improve antibiotic usage.

Asparaginase-associated pancreatitis (AAP) frequently affects children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) causing severe acute and persisting complications. Known risk factors such as asparaginase dosing, older age and single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) have insufficient odds ratios to allow personalized asparaginase therapy. In this study, we explored machine learning strategies for prediction of individual AAP risk. We integrated information on age, sex, and SNPs based on Illumina Omni2.5exome-8 arrays of patients with childhood ALL (N=1564, 244 with AAP 1.0 to 17.9 yo) from 10 international ALL consortia into machine learning models including regression, random forest, AdaBoost and artificial neural networks. A model with only age and sex had area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC-AUC) of 0.62. Inclusion of 6 pancreatitis candidate gene SNPs or 4 validated pancreatitis SNPs boosted ROC-AUC somewhat (0.67) while 30 SNPs, identified through our AAP genome-wide association study cohort, boosted performance (0.80). Most predictive features included rs10273639 (PRSS1-PRSS2), rs10436957 (CTRC), rs13228878 (PRSS1/PRSS2), rs1505495 (GALNTL6), rs4655107 (EPHB2) and age (1 to 7 y). Second AAP following asparaginase re-exposure was predicted with ROC-AUC: 0.65. The machine learning models assist individual-level risk assessment of AAP for future prevention trials, and may legitimize asparaginase re-exposure when AAP risk is predicted to be low.
