RESUMO

Double-row tapered roller bearings have been widely used in various equipment recently due to their compact structure and ability to withstand large loads. The dynamic stiffness is composed of contact stiffness, oil film stiffness and support stiffness, and the contact stiffness has the most significant influence on the dynamic performance of the bearing. There are few studies on the contact stiffness of double-row tapered roller bearings. Firstly, the contact mechanics calculation model of double-row tapered roller bearing under composite loads has been established. On this basis, the influence of load distribution of double-row tapered roller bearing is analyzed, and the calculation model of contact stiffness of double-row tapered roller bearing is obtained according to the relationship between overall stiffness and local stiffness of bearing. Based on the established stiffness model, the influence of different working conditions on the contact stiffness of the bearing is simulated and analyzed, and the effects of radial load, axial load, bending moment load, speed, preload, and deflection angle on the contact stiffness of double row tapered roller bearings have been revealed. Finally, by comparing the results with Adams simulation results, the error is within 8%, which verifies the validity and accuracy of the proposed model and method. The research content of this paper provides theoretical support for the design of double-row tapered roller bearings and the identification of bearing performance parameters under complex loads.

RESUMO

Angular contact ball bearings are common basic components in rotating machinery. During the operation of the bearing, the rolling slips, resulting in contact sliding friction between it and the raceway, which in turn causes wear in the rolling element and increase in the radial clearance of the bearing. The increase in clearance also affects the stiffness of the bearing, which in turn affects the natural frequency and fatigue life of the bearing. At present, there are few studies on the influence of bearing wear (variation of clearance) on life. In this paper, the finite element model based on the theory of contact mechanics is established for the angular contact ball bearing with medium- and high-speed rotation, and the mechanical properties and fatigue life influenced by the internal action of the bearing are analyzed. The effects of radial load and deflection angle on the mechanical properties and fatigue life of the bearing are also studied. Based on the analysis results of bearing contact mechanical properties and clearance changes, the calculation method of bearing life under rolling element wear is established. The influence of the variation of clearance and preload clearance on bearing life is analyzed, and the optimal preload is obtained. The research results of this paper can provide a theoretical basis for optimizing the installation of angular contact ball bearings, reasonably determining the service conditions, and prolonging the service life of bearings, which is necessary for engineering practice.

RESUMO

This paper employed and developed the wave-based vibration approach to analyze the band-gap characteristics of a locally resonant (LR) beam with L-joint, which is common in engineering practices. Based on the proposed modular approach, where the discontinuities on the beam are created as modules, the design and modeling work for such an LR beam can be simplified considerably. Then, three kinds of LR beams with an L-joint suspended with transverse-force type resonators and two cells of longitudinal-force-moment type resonators are analyzed, respectively, to show their suppression ability on the axial wave's propagation and widened effect on the low-frequency band-gaps, where the longitudinal-force-moment type resonators at the 3rd-4th cells can better suppress the propagation of the axial waves. Meanwhile, the proposed analysis results are compared with the ones obtained with the finite element method and further verified the accuracy and efficiency of the wave-based vibration approach. The aim of this paper is to provide an efficient method for the analysis and design of the LR beam with L-joint for low-frequency vibration attenuation in engineering practices.

RESUMO

Mental fatigue is a common psychobiological state elected by prolonged cognitive activities. Although, the performance and the disadvantage of the mental fatigue have been well known, its connectivity among the multiareas of the brain has not been thoroughly studied yet. This is important for the clarification of the mental fatigue mechanism. However, the common method of connectivity analysis based on EEG cannot get rid of the interference from strong noise. In this paper, an adaptive feature extraction model based on stacked denoising autoencoder has been proposed. The signal to noise ratio of the extracted feature has been analyzed. Compared with principal component analysis, the proposed method can significantly improve the signal to noise ratio and suppress the noise interference. The proposed method has been applied on the analysis of mental fatigue connectivity. The causal connectivity among the frontal, motor, parietal, and visual areas under the awake, fatigue, and sleep deprivation conditions has been analyzed, and different patterns of connectivity between conditions have been revealed. The connectivity direction under awake condition and sleep deprivation condition is opposite. Moreover, there is a complex and bidirectional connectivity relationship, from the anterior areas to the posterior areas and from the posterior areas to the anterior areas, under fatigue condition. These results imply that there are different brain patterns on the three conditions. This study provides an effective method for EEG analysis. It may be favorable to disclose the underlying mechanism of mental fatigue by connectivity analysis.

RESUMO

In order to improve the activation of the mirror neuron system and the ability of the visual-cued motor imagery further, the multi-stimuli-cued unilateral lower limb motor imagery is studied in this paper. The visual-auditory evoked pathway is proposed and the sensory process is studied. To analyze the visual-auditory interactions, the kinesthetic motor imagery with the visual-auditory stimulus, visual stimulus and no stimulus are involved. The motor-related rhythm suppression is applied on quantitative evaluation. To explore the statistical sensory process, the causal relationships among the functional areas and the event-related potentials are investigated. The results have demonstrated the outstanding performances of the visual-auditory evoked motor imagery on the improvement of the mirror neuron system activation and the motor imagery ability. Besides, the abundant information interactions among functional areas and the positive impacts of the auditory stimulus in the motor and the visual areas have been revealed. The possibility that the sensory processes evoked by the visual-auditory interactions differ from the one elicited by kinesthetic motor imagery, has also been indicated. This study will promisingly offer an efficient way to motor rehabilitation, thus favorable for hemiparesis and partial paralysis patients.
