[The role of free-radical oÑ idation for patogenesis of chronic generalization periodontitis in elderly age patients].

In old aged patients with chronic generalized periodontitis and cardiovascular diseases the level lipoperoxidation increased and antioхidation protection decreased in saliva and blood. After the course of treatment myocardial ischemia and diseases chronic periodontal inflammation the level of lipoperoхidation was changed insignificant accompanied with decreased of TBK-active substance in saliva and blood. Change of nitric oхide after by treatment was depended it initial level before treatment and often had an opposite orientation.

[Serum, oral and gingival fluid levels of heat shock protein-70, cytokines and their autoantibodies by periodontal disease].

The study of 25 patients with periodontitis showed that the level of heat shock protein-70 (HSP70) and IL-1Β, IL-8 was increased in serum, buccal and gingival fluids as compared with healthy individuals, as well as the serum level of IgG autoantibodies both to HSP70 and to cytokines. In oral and gingival fluids sIgA autoantibodies to the same antigens were found. It was suggested that these autoantibodies can eliminate HSP-70 pro-inflammatory cytokines, thus regulating their levels in the inflammation area.

[Pathogenetic characteristics of generalized parodontitis in elderly patients].

Chronic periodontit inflammation in old-aged patients was found to be accompanied by imbalance of complement system; sIgA, IgA, IgG and IgM hyperproduction; increased concentrations of IL-8, IL-1alpha and decreased level of IL-4; abrogated NO and its derivatives concentration; increased anti-HSP-70 and homocystein levels in blood and saliva. The obtained results justify the necessity to use in therapy of chronic parodontit inflammation the immunocorrection, antioxidant and bioregulatory therapy, which normalize the cells function.

[The role of heat shock proteins in immune reactions in old-aged patients with chronic generalized periodontitis].

Chronic generalized periodontitis in the old-aged patients is accompanied by high levels of the antibodies to HSP, sIgA, IgM, IgG hyperproduction; elevated concentrations of IL-8 and IL-1alpha and low content of IL-4 in saliva and blood. Local anti-inflammatory therapy of chronic periodontitis does not restore normal immunity status. Appearance of antibodies to HSP plays a role in immune reactions, which maintain chronic inflammation of periodontium.

[Some aspects of immune reaction in chronic generalized parodontal disease in elderly patients].

Chronic parodontit inflammation in elderly patients was found to be accompanied by inbalance of complement system; IgA (sIgA), IgA, IgG, IgM hyperproduction; the increase of IL-8, IL-1α concentration and decrease of IL-4 level; increase Hsp-70 antibodies.

[Gastric cytomedines effects on immune response in acute immobilization stress in rats].

Effects of gastric cytomedines on repair and immune response were studied in 137 white non-inbred rats. Erosions of gastric mucosa were induced by acute immobilization stress. A decrease in antibody production, titers of hemagglutinins and hemolysins was found on day 2 after stress. Gastric cytomedines in a dose 0.15 mg/kg intramuscularly stimulate immune response (increased production of antibodies, antibody dependent cellular cytotoxicity index, titers of hemagglutinins and hemolysins), fast erosions epithelization and have a protective action.

[Ventramine and lipid peroxidation in children with erosive gastroduodenitis].

43 patients and 20 healthy children, aged 11-15, were examined. Increased contents of primary, secondary, intermediary and final products of lipid peroxidation (LPO) in serum lipids as well as an intensified antioxidant activity were registered in children with erosive gastroduodenitis. Ventramine, when used in the treatment of erosive gastroduodenitis in children, arrests rapidly the clinical signs of the disease and normalizes LPO.

The influence of thrombin on functional and procoagulant activity of lymphocytes, monocytes, fibroblats and tumour cells, was studied. Thrombin enhanced phagocytic activity of monocytes and decreased the speed of their migration from the center of inflammation, accelerated growth of fibroblasts and tumour cells and increased synthesis of oxyprolin and glycosaminglycans by fibroblasts. Thrombin activated functional activity of cells, increased their procoagulant and fibrinolytic activity with the release of thromboplastic agents, plasminogen activator and plasmine-like enzyme. The data obtain suggest that thrombin is a biological irritant capable of changing cell reaction.

[Pathogenesis of hemostasis disorders in malignant neoplasms]. / K patogenezu narushenii gemostaza pri zlokachestvennykh novoobrazovaniiakh.

The study was concerned with the effect of thrombin and Xa-factor on the procoagulative and fibrinolytic properties of cultured malignant cells (Hep-2). It was found that active coagulative factors of the blood promote the procoagulative and fibrinolytic potential of neoplasms involving the release of thromboplastic compounds and plasminogen activator into the environment.

Thrombin and Xa factor of blood coagulation form the relation with cell surface of normal human fibroblasts. The relation of serine proteases with cell surface is specific. Catalytically inactivated proteases exhibit low coagulation activity and little capability of nonspecific cell binding. The components of cell surface called receptors are released to the incubation medium and have anticoagulation properties. The biological significance of "floating receptors" is determined by their capacity to bind serine proteases and to control cell homeostasis.

[Dynamics of peripheral nerve procoagulant and fibrinolytic activity upon electrical stimulation]. / Dinamika prokoaguliantnoi i fibrinoliticheskoi aktivnosti perifericheskikh nervov pri ikh électricheskoi stimuliatsii.

The amount of procoagulative and fibrinolytic agents in cellular organoids was studied in the cat n. ischiadicus. All cellular fractions revealed high thromboplastic activity. Plasminogen, its activator, and proactivator were discovered in the ischiadic nerve. In dogs, the changes of functional state of nerves were accompanied by discharging of tissue thromboplastin and stimulators of fibrinolysis into the external medium with stimulaneous changes of intracellular contents of hemocoagulating factors. Thus, electric stimulation of the nerve intensified its thromboplastic activity, increased concentration of analogs of the plasma factors (II, VII, IX) and stimulation of fibrinolytic agents. The data obtained suggest presence of close enough interaction between the changes of functional condition of cells and dynamics of their procoagulative and fibrinolytic power.
