RESUMO

In this study, ultralow ruthenium nanoparticles on the nickel molybdate nanorods grown on nickel foam (Ru-NiMoO4-NF) were synthesized. The Ru-NiMoO4-NF exhibited outstanding hydrogen evolution reaction performances in alkaline with overpotential of 52 mV at the current density of 10 mA cm-2. And, it maintains excellent stability for 20 h at the current density of 20 mA cm-2. The mass activity of Ru-NiMoO4-NF is 0.21 A mgRu -1, which is higher than that of Pt/C. Lots of exposed heterojunction interfaces and synergistic effects between Ru nanoparticles and NiMoO4 nanorods were regarded as the reasons for excellent performance. This work provides an innovative route for developing low-cost catalysts based on the transition metal oxides and trace precious metal with unique heterostructures for hydrogen production through water splitting.

RESUMO

Flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors have promising applications in wearable devices, artificial intelligence, and other fields. However, developing low-cost and high-performance pressure sensors still poses a great challenge. Herein, we utilize low-cost carbon black (CB) and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) mixed in porous polydimethylsiloxane to assemble a flexible piezoresistive pressure sensor combined with interdigitated electrodes. Simultaneously, the COMSOL Multiphysics simulation analysis was performed to predict the sensing behavior of the pressure sensor, which was verified by experiments; the preparation of the pressure sensor was guided according to the prediction. Additionally, we studied the effects of the mixed conductive filler's weight ratio, the shape of the interdigital electrode, and the line width and spacing of the interdigital electrode on the performance of the sensor. Based on the interaction of the 3D porous structure and the synergistic conductive network of CB/MWCNTs, the prepared pressure sensor exhibits a high sensitivity of 3.57 kPa-1 (∼21 kPa), a wide detection range of 0-275 kPa, fast response time (96 ms), fast recovery time (198 ms), good durability (about 3000 cycles), and good flexibility. Moreover, the fabricated sensor can monitor and recognize human activities (such as finger bending and mouse clicking), indicating that it has great potential in flexible wearable devices and other fields. It is worth noting that the preparation process of the entire pressure sensor was simple, low cost, and environmentally friendly, which provides a certain basis for industrial and commercial applications.

RESUMO

Symmetrical diaryl sulfides and diaryl disulfides have been efficiently and selectively constructed via the homocoupling of sodium arenesulfinates. The selectivity of products relied on the different reaction systems: symmetrical diaryl sulfides were predominately obtained under the Pd(OAc)2 catalysis, whereas symmetrical diaryl sulfides were exclusively yielded in the presence of the reductive Fe/HCl system.

RESUMO

In this work, carbon dots (CDs) was easily synthesized from aspartic acid through a pyrolysis method. Based on their favourable fluorescence properties, CDs were utilized to design a metal ion-mediated fluorescent probe for N-acetyl-l-cysteine (NAC) detection. The fluorescence intensity of CDs was firstly quenched by manganese ions (Mn2+ ) through static quenching effect and subsequently restored by NAC via the combination with Mn2+ due to the coordination effect. Therefore, the fluorescent turn-on sensing of NAC was actuated based on the fluorescence quenching stimulated by Mn2+ and recovery induced by coordination. The fluorescence recovery efficiencies showed a proportional range to the concentration of NAC in the range 0.04-5 mmol L-1 and the detection limit was 0.03 mmol L-1 . Furthermore, this metal ion-mediated fluorescent nanoprobe was applied to human urine sample detection and the standard recovery rates were located in the range 97.62-102.34%. This was the first time that Mn2+ was used to construct a fluorescent nanoprobe for NAC. Compared with other heavy metal ions, Mn2+ with good biosecurity prevented the risk of application, which made the nanoprobe green and biopractical. The facile synthesis of CDs and novel metal ion-mediated sensing mode made it a promising method for pharmaceutical analysis.

RESUMO

Carbon nanodots (CNDs) were facilely synthesized through a pyrolysis procedure with histamine, an amino acid rich in element carbon and nitrogen, being the precursor. Taking advantage of the favorable fluorescence performance of CNDs, a multiple fluorescence quenching effects mediated fluorescent sensor was established for captopril (CAP) detection. MnO2 NPs were firstly combined with CNDs via electrostatic attraction and subsequently quenched the fluorescence. The quenching mechanisms were concluded to be the combined effects of fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) and inner filtration effect (IFE). Subsequently CAP triggered a unique redox reaction and decomposed the quencher so that renewed the fluorescence. Hence, the sensitive and selective detection of CAP was achieved through the indication of fluorescence recovery efficiency. A proportional range of 0.4 âˆ¼ 60 µmol L-1 with the LOD of 0.31 µmol L-1 was obtained. The sensor was further applied to the real sample detection and the satisfactory results revealed the practical value of CNDs. The facile synthesis of CNDs and brand-new sensing mechanism made it a novel fluorescent method and could improve the analysis of CAP.

RESUMO

A facile method for the synthesis of 4-chalcogenylated pyrazoles has been developed via electrophilic chalcogenation/cyclization of α,ß-alkynic hydrazones. The cyclization of α,ß-alkynic aldehyde hydrazones could be induced by using either sulfenyl chloride or the S-electrophiles generated in situ from the reaction of NCS and arythiol. The developed method was successfully applied to the synthesis of the sulfenyl analogue of celecoxib.

RESUMO

Previous studies have shown that the death-associated protein (Daxx) shuttles between nucleus and cytoplasm under ischemic stress, and the subcellular localization of Daxx plays an important role in ischemic neuron death. In this study, by blocking the Daxx trafficking, the rat hippocampus CA1 neurons were protected against cerebral ischemia/reperfusion, and the molecular mechanism underlying this neuroprotection was studied. We found that pretreatment of SP600125, an inhibitor of c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), or an anti-oxidant, N-acetylcysteine (NAC), could not only prevent Daxx from trafficking but also increase the number of the surviving CA1 pyramidal cells of hippocampus at 5days of reperfusion. Furthermore, knock-down of endogenous Daxx exerted similar neuroprotective effect during ischemia/reperfusion. We found the treatment of SP600125 or NAC could decrease the activation of Ask1 during ischemia/reperfusion and suppress the assembly of the Fas·Daxx·Ask1 signaling module, and in succession inhibit JNK activation and c-Jun phosphorylation. This study provides the Daxx trafficking as a new potential therapeutic target for ischemic brain injury.
