RESUMO

The external quantum efficiency (EQE) of the sky-blue perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) has reached 18.65%. However, the EQE of the deep-blue PeLEDs is still inferior to that of sky-blue PeLEDs, which restricts the PeLED application in displays. Herein, a novel dynamic interfacial ion-exchange technique is developed to obtain deep-blue PeLEDs. By spin-coating quaternary ammonium chloride on top of a quasi-2D green perovskite film, a 68 nm spectral transition from green light emission at 513 nm to deep-blue light emission at 445 nm has been successfully realized. To the best of our knowledge, it is the largest spectrum transition ever achieved. By further introducing tricyclohexylphosphine oxide into the perovskite precursor solution to passivate defects, high-quality deep-blue PeLEDs have been fabricated with color coordinates at (0.13, 0.06). The maximum EQE reaches 1.8%, and the peak luminance reaches 847 cd/m2.

RESUMO

Due to the different sensitivities of the 2E and 4T2 energy levels of Cr3+ to the local environment, Cr3+-doped fluorescent materials appear as excellent candidates for highly sensitive temperature sensing based on luminescence intensity ratio technology. However, a way to broaden the strict Boltzmann temperature measuring range is rarely reported. In this work, through Al3+ alloying strategy, a series of SrGa12-xAlxO19:0.5%Cr3+(x = 0, 2, 4, and 6) solid-solution phosphors were synthesized. Remarkably, the introduction of Al3+ can play a role in regulating the crystal field around Cr3+ and the symmetry of [Ga/AlO6] octahedron, realizing the synchronous tuning of 2E and 4T2 energy levels when the temperature changes in a wide range, achieving the purpose of increasing the intensity difference of 2E → 4A2 and 4T2 → 4A2 transitions, so as to extend the temperature sensing range. Among all samples, SrGa6Al6O19:0.5%Cr3+ showed the widest temperature measuring range from 130 K to 423 K with Sa of 0.0066 K-1 and Sr of 1% K-1@130 K. This work proposed a feasible way to extend the temperature sensing range for transition metal-doped LIR-mode thermometers.

RESUMO

Dissolved organic matter (DOM) can strongly interact with both organic and inorganic contaminants to influence their transportation, transformation, bioavailability, toxicity and even their ultimate fate. Within this work, DOM was extracted from urban stormwater runoff samples collected from a regular sampling site of a typical residential area in Beijing, China. Copper(II) ions were selected as model to investigate the interactions between DOM and typical heavy metals. Both ultraviolet (UV) absorbance and fluorescence titration methods were introduced to determine the complex capacities (CL) and conditional stability constants (log KM) of bonding between DOM and copper (II) ions, which revealed that the values of CL were 85.62 and 87.23 µmol mg-1 and the log KM values were 5.37 and 5.48, respectively. The results suggested the successful complexation between DOM and copper(II) ions. Furthermore, morphology of the DOM binding to copper(II) ions was confirmed by both energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), which can facilitate to clarify the corresponding mechanism. The Cu 2p3/2 peak at 933.7 eV and the characteristic shake-up peaks of Cu-O were found in the XPS spectra, implying that copper(II) ions might coordinate with hydroxyl (aliphatic or phenolic) or carboxyl groups. With these profitable results, it can be concluded that DOM in urban stormwater runoff has a strong binding affinity with copper(II) ions, which may further lead to potentially significant influence on their migration and transformation.
