[A rare observation of intralaryngeal aberrant goiter]. / Redkoe nablyudenie interlaringeal'nogo aberrantnogo zoba.

This paper was designed to report a rare observation of intralaryngeal aberrant goiter associated with goiter of the main thyroid tissue and chronic suppurative otitis media complicated by the polyp that causes occlusion of the auditory passage. The histomorphological investigation of the material harvested intraoperatively following rehabilitation of the purulent focus in the middle ear and the removal of the tumour from the inside of the right vestibular fold confirmed the diagnosis of colloid goiter.

[Hepatic tuberculosis with the development of fibrosis and concomitant steatohepatitis].

Tuberculous lesions of the liver frequently occur in autopsy material, even though most of them are clinically unapparent. Pathogenetically, hepatic tuberculosis is a manifestation of general military tuberculosis with the infection brought in through the hematogenous route (through the hepatic artery or the portal system) as a result of intestinal or mesenteric lymph node tuberculosis. We report a case of combination of hepatic tuberculosis and diabetes mellitus in a young woman with reference to the clinical course of the disease, its diagnostics and treatment.

[Morphogenetic features of reparative regeneration of acetate gastric ulcer under chronic exposure to pesticide--copper sulphate].

Using morphologic, histochemical, histoenzymatic methods, the authors studied morphogenesis of acetate gastric ulcer in 40 rats subjected to chronic enteral intake of copper-containing pesticide-- copper sulphate. Structural and metabolic basis for perverted regeneration of mucosa near the ulcer under continuous enteral exposure to toxic factor, dose dependence in chronization of acute gastric ulcer were established for the first time.

[Perftoran emulsion in complex therapy of critical lower limb ischemia].

The paper presents comparative assessment of treatment outcomes in patients with critical lower limb ischemia treated with conventional therapy or combined with ozonized Perftoran. The study included 72 patients with Fontain-Pokrovsky III stage ischemia caused by impaired distal leg circulation. Thirty five patients received intra-arterial injections of ozonized Perftoran in addition to conventional "base" therapy. Emulsion of ozonized Perftoran was shown to have beneficial effect on blood coagulation, blood gases, parameters of systemic hemodynamics, microcirculation and other treatment outcome measures.

[Treatment of linea alba hernia and diastasis of rectus abdominis]. / Lechenie gryzh beloí linii zhivota i diastaza priamykh myshts zhivota.

The asynchronous development of structural and metabolic disorders of aponeurosis, leading to the development of defects in sheath of the rectus abdominis is the major factor of hernia of linea alba formation. Development of diastasis of m. rectus abdominis is caused by primary structural and metabolic changes of myocytes caused by the extreme overload. The important factor of the operation is restoration of anatomic and physiologic parameters of the abdominal wall by bringing mm. rectus abdominis together, shortening and enforsing of aponeurosis makes it possible to distribute regularly the load on the aponeurotic sheath of musculi recti.

[Congenital myoblastoma (a clinical case)]. / Vrozhdennaia mioblastoma (klinicheskoe nabliudenie).

A congenital myoblastoma in a newborn boy is described, developing on the maxillary gingiva. Histological examination showed it to be a myoma of myoblasts, Abrikosov's tumor. Examination after 2 years did not reveal a relapse of the tumor.

[Results of surgical treatment of diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles]. / Rezultaty khirurgicheskogo lecheniia diastaza priamykh myshts zhivota.

The work gives a comparative analysis of the treatment of 249 patients with diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles according to the degree of restoration of the working capacity, the existence of gastrointestinal discomfort, recurrence of the disease, and the dynamics of changes of the morphological and functional values of these muscles. The clinical and functional-morphological results were best after plastics of the anterior abdominal wall by the method suggested by the authors. With the use of this method the results were good in 40 (71.4%) and satisfactory in 16 (28.6%) of patients. Recurrences were not encountered.

[A case of malignant hemangiopericytoma of the pulmonary trunk valve of the heart]. / Sluchai zlokachestvennoi gemangioperitsitomy zaslonki kaplana legochnogo stvola serdtsa.

A description of one case: 62-year-old woman died during an operation for a tumour of the right lung. Malignant haemangiopericytoma of the pulmonary trunk valve was found at the necropsy with an occlusion of pulmonary trunk and metastasis to the right lung.

[Adenomatosis of the proximal segment of the common hepatic duct]. / Adenomatoz proksimal'nogo otdela obshchego pechenochnogo protoka.

A male of 52 developed fatal adenomatosis localized atypically in the proximal part of the common hepatic duct. The disease was attended by reactive papillomatosis and subsequent mechanical jaundice. The tumor occurrence may be attributed to a malformation of the duct wall mucous glands.
