RESUMO

The high cutting temperature and poor thermal diffusion efficiency of nickel-based alloys during deep hole machining have become technical challenges in the hole machining field. In this paper, a finite element simulation model of Inconel-718 BTA ordinary drilling and vibration drilling processes was established by using Deform-3D finite element simulation software. The variations in the temperatures of the tool teeth and the workpiece at different positions of the nickel-based alloy under ordinary drilling and vibration drilling were investigated. Additionally, the wear pattern of each tool tooth under the two drilling methods was further analyzed by building an experimental platform for workpiece temperature detection, which reveals the wear and cooling mechanism of nickel-based alloy BTA deep hole drilling. The results show that the average temperatures of the external, intermediate, and central teeth were reduced by 18.1%, 21.1%, and 17.8%, respectively, during vibration drilling. In addition, the workpiece hole wall and hole bottom temperatures were reduced by 5.7% and 4.6%, respectively. To conclude, the experimental tests were consistent with the simulated temperature trends. BTA vibration drilling optimizes the heat exchange conditions between the cutter teeth and the workpiece during the drilling of nickel-based alloys, which effectively reduces the cutting temperature and, thus, improves the wear resistance of the cutter teeth.

RESUMO

Strain sensors with high sensitivity, long-term durability, and stretchability are required for flexible and wearable electronic devices. This paper reports a bilayer strain sensor consisting of carboxyl-functionalized carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and ionically crosslinked polysiloxane substrates based on unsaturated acid-amine interactions. Vacuum filtration was adopted to prepare the CNT films (2.74-4.70 µm in thickness) onto the polysiloxane substrates to prepare stretchable conductive strain sensors. The strain sensor exhibited self-healing ability, self-adhesiveness, high sensitivity, linearity, low hysteresis, and long-term durability with a gauge factor of 33.99 at 55% strain. The sensitivity and linearity could be adjusted by the thickness of the CNT layer. A crack-related mechanism was proposed in which increasing the thickness of the CNT layer led to simultaneously enhanced sensitivity and linearity. Finally, we investigated the detection of human activities (bending/unbending of fingers or knees) and subtle motions (coughing and swallowing). The fabricated strain sensor succeeded in meeting various needs with satisfactory sensing performance.

RESUMO

In this study, the effect of magnetite amendment on anaerobic digestion was investigated at three increasing salinity levels (0.5%, 1% and 2% NaCl). The amendment of magnetite enhanced the methane yield by 36.3%, 33.3% and 16.5% at low salinity (0.5% NaCl) and high salinity (1% and 2% NaCl), respectively. Meanwhile, a larger proportion of granules was obtained in the magnetite amended reactor (48.05% vs 33.16% at the end of operation). Microbial analysis suggested magnetite could induce more methanogenesis partnerships between hydrogenotrophic methanogens and syntrophic bacteria. Methanosaeta and Methanocorpusculum were the alternating dominant methanogens at low salinity and high salinity. While Streptococcus and Mesotoga were two prevalent bacteria that showed totally different transition tendency in two reactors. Additionally, the supplement of magnetite could relieve the suppression of methanogenesis-related gene expression caused by salinity, thus facilitated the higher methane production.
